Yuudai

Yuudai

D-rank
Today was the day. It had taken a bit of work, but he obtained everything he needed, completed whatever tasks were set before him, and it was finally time to move on forth. His plans had been delayed shortly due to a matter concerning himself, and a clansmen telling him to wait a while longer for his trip. It was a wait worth waiting for. Setsura, a finely crafted katana, one crafted just for him. It would be able to amplify the power of his Hyōton techniques that were channelled through the blade, but also had a lot more cutting power than the fine katana he kept for the longest possible time. He had no reason to sell his old weapon, that was partially the reason why he decided to hold on to it. Though the main reason for keeping it would be for if he would somehow lose Setsura in the middle of a battle, thus leaving him unarmed for combat, making him rely on his ninjutsu entirely. That was also one variable that added to his leaving of Kirigakure when he had requested his absence from the village. He needed to expand in a different field, though it was something he could not accomplish in Kirigakure no Sato, as there was no individuals whom he knew of that were adept in the field of illusions. His decision to go to Kumogakure no Sato as his first destination was mainly due the location being one of the two villages - largest ones that is- closest to his home, even though it required travelling over the endless expanse of the waters. He had decided to bring Suichi along with him as well, seeing as how the penguin would clearly want to follow the one he considered his master; and Yuudai felt the creature would be lonely if left behind. The only one’s whom he had informed of his leave were the Mizukage, his mother, and a few clansmen in the village. If anyone were to seek him out, he knew that they’d eventually run into one of the many people he told, who would then inform him. There was no set date for his return, but he knew he wouldn’t be gone too long, though it would be nice to see lands he had never visited before.

It would be an unique experience. Now as a Sannin and the clan head of the Aisu, Yuudai felt his name would be floating about through the main villages, due to travellers probably spreading word of it. He didn’t mind, though it would clearly place him in an odd spot. He wasn’t afraid of much in terms of threats towards his person, he knew that being attacked may be a possibility, one that would clearly spark retaliation. But, this was neither the time nor place for negative thoughts. He was going to the Land of Lightning, to the Village Hidden in the Clouds.

“Come on Suichi, it’s about time we depart.” His leave was just of himself leaving his home with Suichi in tow. Setsura and his old katana rested against his right hip, sustaining their places in their sheaths. While he and Suichi could easily travel by venturing across the ocean, through the use of Supernatural Walking Practice and Suichi’s swimming capabilities in the ocean, Yuudai thought it was best to go through a more peaceful and relaxing procedure, by taking a ferry. Sure it may be a bit slower, but it certainly would allow Yuudai to relax for a bit longer, seeing as how he’d been pushing himself more and more over the years. They had roughly thirty minutes before the ship would depart, more than enough time for him and his companion to board the vessel.

The journey to Kaminari no Kuni was peaceful, save for Suichi’s usual behaviour, though it certainly was more tamed than back at home. Other’s on the vessel whispered about the Sannin and his companion, but mostly all good in name. Suichi certainly seemed to get along with others aboard, though that may have just been for his desire for snacks. It would take a while longer until he would be in the village he intended to visit, Kumogakure no Sato, the Village Hidden in the Clouds.
