1 Training Area Maintenance [D-Rank, Solo/No Kill] Thu Jul 11, 2013 4:13 am
Koji Senju
D-rank
Koji Senju had been placed on another D-ranked mission by the hokage. Unlike the last few times, however, he began to warm up to the mission and didn’t mind embarking on it. While he treaded through the village, Koji gripped the scroll that explained his mission. His duty today was to tidy up one of the training facilities in the village; such a pain! There were plenty of facilities that needed to be tidied, so if Koji wished to he could repeat the same mission with several attempts. He shrugged and decided to close the scroll and tuck it into his back pocket.
As he walked along the path towards one of the training facilities, Koji noticed a marvelous fowl. The fowl revealed itself as an eagle; it had glistening eyes filled with fire, a feat that all Konoha shinobi should possess. As the bird cut through the winds of Konoha, Koji watched it in awe and remembered his goal. He would one day fight on equal terms with his brother and not only that, but would become a well renowned ninja of the village. Not only would he succeed in this, but he would also succeed in becoming the same rank as his brother, Owydelu. He peered into the heavens and clenched his hand into a fist. A grin took shape upon him as he quickly lifted the fist into the air.
After reminiscing about his goals, Koji stepped foot into one of the many training fields around the village. A man waited patiently near the entrance. The man was large in stature and had on a typical all white karate gi with bandages wrapped around his arms and legs. His eyes were a dark brown with a scar secured around the right one. He held a big smile and greeted Koji.
“Hello young man, right this way,” the man greeted Koji with much delight.
Koji found was given a bin of supplies from the owner of the lands. The man walked away while Koji would get to work. In the bin was sod, logs a broom and a trash bag. Koji tossed the bag of sod over his shoulder and began to fill the many holes with sod. As he spread the materials over the earth, sweat dripped from his brow and his sideburns and began hitting the ground beneath him. The job was not as easy as it seemed, but it would add onto Koji’s strength for sure. He grabbed the broom and began sweeping up pieces of wood. The taijutsu users broke the training logs into pieces, causing a meager job to become somewhat troublesome and time consuming. After getting the logs into the trash, Koji replaced them with a fresh set, knowing in his mind that they would be broken very soon.
The boy then searched the grounds for any other trash. He picked up a disposed bag of potato chips and several chocolate wrappers; maybe an Akimichi had been training that day. His foot then knocked into an object. The object was revealed to be a small wooden katana. Who would leave their practice blade to sit in the middle of the grounds?
Suddenly, a frantic academy ninja came running into the training area. He was obviously searching for something that he’d lost. Koji peered down at his foot once again and grabbed the wooden object. He walked over to the child and presented it to him. A gleam hit the child’s eyes as a huge smirk covered his face.
“Thank you Mr,” the boy shouted in excitement.
After the boy took his sword, Koji decided to head back to the Hokage’s office to claim his prize.
