Owydelu
D-rank
As Owydelu woke up, he was in a rush. He knew that this day will be a special one: the day when he will start training for the Doton Element, an element that he left behind by not using it. He knew that he can't advance in his Mokuton Jutsus if he can't control the earth as well as he can with water.
Chakra is essential to even the most basic technique; it is the moulding of the physical energy present in every cell of the body and the spiritual energy gained from exercise and experience. That’s what Owydely was thinking while he woke up. Based on which ninjutsu the ninja uses, the amount of chakra will be different, as would the element the ninja employs. The five main elemental types are also the names for the Five Great Shinobi Nations: Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth and Water. Each ninja has the potential to better utilise one of these styles and potentially more. These thing were just the basics of a ninja that he needed to learn at the academy a long time ago. Good old times.
He took a long and warm shower while he was thinking of his future, of what will he do. He remembered of his friend Senju Sousetsu. For the pride of his family, the legendary Senju Clan, Owydelu decided to do everything he can to protect his family name and to become more powerful.
After fifteen minutes he finished. Owydelu wiped all the water on his body using a towel. Then he dressed-up, waiting for his breakfast to be done. Afterwards he had put the food on the table and he started to eat. Owydelu was sure that he won’t have time for a lunch break so he had eaten as much as he could. He prepared everything for his training. Now it was the time for him to work hard, to get up on the ranks.
As he got outside, the warm rays of the sun had started to lie on Owydelu. The smell of the trees was giving him a lot of energy, feeling full of chakra. I could hear everything around me, from the beautiful song-like chirping of the birds to the annoying barking of the wild dogs. These kind of things used to mean something to me, used to tell me what kind of day it will be, but now I’m not so sure about it anymore.
I finally found my way to the Rolling Hills, where I would be training my specialisation in the Doton Element. The road seemed peacefully for me. The grass was moving due to the chilly wind that was travelling around with me, following me all the time.
The Clouds sure were looking fluffy and cute. They were like some little baby monsters that were flying above us, protecting us from any harm the sun would do to us.
The divine fireball was looking over us, giving to the planet the energy and warmth to live.
The sky was like a deep blue ocean, inherited with lots of living beings, like us, the humans. It was just too tiring to think of all the divinities that were living in the sky, watching over us.
As I was thinking about all of this, I finally reached the Rolling Hills. It was very quiet, leaving an impression of this, being a perfect place to relax, to anybody. As I trough, to be able to practice and get better with an element, you need to be one and the same with that element.
To warm myself up, I started with some basic training : The meditation. I sat down on the ground, trying to feel something trough my spine. The ground was feeling so cold that I started to feel dizzy from it. The wind that was blowing in my face was making me feel more chilly than before. I might’ve got a cold from there. Suddenly I started to feel something travelling all over my spine. It was the chakra that I was feeling. It started to warm me up, making more easy for me to support that rough meditation I had to do in order to increase my Doton element’s abilities.
As I was sitting down there, hearing all the living beings walking below me, above me and even right beside me. I had finally understood the meaning of this meditation : To increase my relationship with the nature and also to increase my ability to stand still. This exercise was exactly as the Senjutsu training. You just needed to concentrate and stand still. No more, no less.
”Think about it! Visualise it!”
Earth Release is one of the basic elemental nature transformation techniques and allow the user to manipulate the surrounding earth for offensive and defensive purposes or create it; be it dirt, mud, or rock.
The more I was thinking about it, the better I would get at it. Earth Release techniques have the ability to change the strength and composition of the earth from being as hard as metal to as soft as clay, as well as manipulating their density, making them heavier or lighter. As Owydelu was thinking all about this, it passed one hour, two hours, three hours and he got to five hours. Earth is strong against water because earth naturally contains water or absorbs water to the point when it becomes muddy then dries up but weak against lightning because it can easily travel through and break the ground apart.
Once moulded, it can be channelled through the chakra circulatory system, which is to chakra as the regular circulatory system is to blood, to any of the 361 chakra points in the body. Once in a sudden, Owydelu opened his eyes, being hurt by the light. He felt very tired, and also more powerful than before. He realised that this training is really making it’s part of the game. Owydelu returned home, taking a nap, for the sake of the training. When he will wake, Owydelu will be able to continue his training.
After some hours of sleep, the night was about to fall all over Konohagure. Everything was looking so relaxing, so pleasant for someone. Despite that Owydelu was wishing more than anything to sleep, he had to go at the Rolling Hills for his Doton element’s training.
As he got out of his house, he locked up the door. The sky was very beautiful. It seemed for Owydelu that he could’ve stayed there all the night to stargaze. There were no clouds on the sky, as well as no birds, because they were sleeping. It was dark in the Konohagure. No man was walking on that street in that night. It was just very peacefully. While he was thinking about this peacefully night, Owydelu started to realize that he hadn’t had anymore time. He had to train harder in order to be a great shinobi and to perfect his Doton element, as well as the Mokuton element.
Time was passing by and Owydelu was walking slowly on the road to the Rolling Hills. It was a dark night, darker than he ever seen. Because of this disadvantage Owydelu had, he trough it would be a good moment to repeat in his mind everything that he learned from the academy : By moulding different ratios of the two energies, new types of chakra can be formed. Most ninja have a natural affinity to one type of chakra, but they have the capacity to create elemental chakra apart from their own affinity. There are five basic types, each stronger and weaker to another, but their relations, weaknesses, and strengths to each other are all explored. There is also the dealing of Yin and Yang and the balance of mental and physical energies. In addition to these five elements, certain kekkei genkai can mix elemental chakra to form new natures, for example it is possible to mix water and wind into ice. While many ninja can use more than one type of chakra, very few are able to use them simultaneously.
Owydelu remembered these things as if it was yesterday when he was at the academy. Those were good old times. When he was playing with his friends, having no problems at all. He didn’t cared about anything, only about playing. He had no wish to become more powerful : Not it’ s nothing like it was before.
Chakra is the resulting form of energy when two other forms of energy are mixed together. The two energies are referred to as "physical energy" and "spiritual energy". Physical energy is collected from the body's cells and can be increased through training, stimulants, and exercise. Spiritual energy is derived from the mind's consciousness and can be increased through studying, meditation, and experience. Having these two energies become more powerful will in-turn make the created chakra more powerful. Therefore, practising a technique repeatedly will build-up experience, building up one's spiritual energy, and thus allowing more chakra to be created. As a result, the ninja is able to do that same technique with more power. This same cycle applies for physical energy, except this time, instead of doing things like meditation, the ninja could, say, do push-ups.
Now Owydelu was on his way to become a better Shinobi. No : a great shinobi. This was his dream : To surpass everyone and become the greatest Shinobi in the world.
As He was walking, a strange guy appeared in his face. ”Who are you?”
”Hey there kiddo! Just give me all the money you have and then you will be free!”
”And if I refuse?”
”My, my! I didn’t wanted to do a crime in this beautiful night, but you will have to die right here, right now!”
As he had finished his words, he attacked me with all his strength, holding a kunai in his hand. This was one of the most stupid ambushes he had ever seen. With a quick step, Owydelu had dodged that attack, leaving the opponent to keep going on forward. The attacker had hit on a tree. He was aleready dizzy so I didn’t wanted to make him suffer more.
” I will take care of you later! Now I have some important business I have to attempt! Ram -> Ox -> Boar -> Snake: Mokuton: Shichūrō no Jutsu!”
With this jutsu, Owydelu had captured the attacker into one prison – like cage, leaving him there, in plain sight of everyone.
Owydelu continued to walk on his way to the Rolling Hills. He tried to repeat those lectures from his old academy teacher : The general term for the source of chakra, the overall physical and spiritual energy an individual has, is called "total stamina". The maximum amount of chakra an individual can create and retain at a given time is called their "chakra level" tha-
Suddenly Owydelu fell off the ground. He woke up like in a dream. He was in a earth cage and everything around was very dark. He couldn’t see anything. He was very dizzy, probably from that moment when he fell down on the cold and hard ground.
After a half an hour that he tried to escape, Owydelu found this to be a very good moment for him to concentrate on his meditation without someone to disrupt it. Even if it was very dark, at least it was silence and nothing that could distract him from this training. But even if it was the perfect moment for him to meditate, Owydelu still couldn’t think of anything but how to escape from this cell.
After thinking for some time, Owydelu realised something : This was the result of his training. If he could escape from this cage without harming it, Owydelu would success in his training.
He used the Fushizen Aruk'kata to bring his chhakra into his legs. Suddenly he started to fell off trough the floor. He woke up in a hurry, thinking that he will die. He realized that this incident made him capable of leveling his Doton techniques up.
Owydelu returned home, after telling the Hokage about the attacker. He laid on the bed, taking a quick nap, to rest for the upcoming missions and training that Owydelu will have.
