It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, the birds were flying in the open sky. Perfect weather to go out and train "Oh yeah! I've got some free time on my hands!" Akane yelled when she stepped out of her house.

After a while Akane got all bored and didn't know what to do. Maybe someone else also has some free time? she thought and started looking for a such a person in the Market District. She was walking by a restaurant, ate some riceballs and while she was at it she also took some dumplings as a snack for later.

Makuasiu was only a few steps from becoming a chuunin. He knew that once he was promoted he wouldn't have the time to have fun and do the thing he used to. He decided to take today off to just enjoy the day. He stepped out of his house, bag of snacks in one hand and a smile on his face. "I wonder what's going on in the Market District."He decided that's the first place he'd go. There was a bunch of wonderful smells flowing around the district. Maku followed his nose to a certain restaurant. Just as he was getting ready to walk off, a young genin caught his eyes.

She had short , blue hair , and beautiful eyes to match . He hadn't seen the girl before an thought it would be nice to become her friend so he decided to wait until she came out of the restaurant to say hi. It didn't take long. When Makuasiu finally calmed his feelings raging in his mind he spoke. "Hey." It was simple but he felt it would work.

When Akane walked out of the restaurant, a boy with brown hair and calm black eyes, said 'hey' out of no where. "Oh hello!" she looked in shock at the stranger. Because of her past she isn't used to people talking to her willingly. " Are you lost or something?" Akane asked still a bit shocked. "Or am i in your way?". She kept asking herself why someone would say hey to her. Maybe he doesn't know my past?

"No not lost. And your definitely not in the way. I was just walking and you happen to catch my eye. " At this moment Makuasiu smiled. He could tell the girl was unsure about his kindness . He wanted to reassure her he was a friend. Names Maku. What's yours? In his mind he hoped she'd answer back but if she didn't he could understand. After all his mother always told him not to talk to strangers , but this confused him. How was he to make friends if he couldn't open his mouth. He awaited her reply as he drifted off in his mind.
