Juniko
D-rank
ooc ]] c-rank mission.
There was nothing more offensive to her then being assigned petty, useless missions. The kunoichi seemed rather eager to prove herself and her prowess on the field and was turned off by the idea of small missions for ryo - and decided that she would undertake a C-rank mission for her first. A lone wolf, she preferred to take it online, rather than to seek her sensei or her teammate's comfort. You could say that Juniko found solace within herself. A Cheshire-esque grin appeared on her face. She was longing for such a mission. Nimble fingers gently pried open the scroll and her brown eyes glanced over the neat handwriting once more, carefully taking in the words to make sure she understood her task.
"Dealing with a gang ... hmph." mumbled Juniko underneath her breath, her bottom lip grazed by her teeth. She was far too cocky to believe that she was above the mission it seemed, for she ran her digits through her tresses, tousling them so as she thought to herself. "Shit. Now I'm forced to do this damn thing .." thought Juniko to herself. Sighing as she pushed the sliding door of her clan compound aside, she began to walk towards the central part of Konohagakure. The youth made sure to neatly tie the scroll back up and securely fit it inside her hip pouch.
The temperature was fairly warm and as such, Juniko made sure to tie her hair up into a rather messy, loose bun. Intently focused on how to come across the members of said gang, she paused, halting in her tracks. From what the scroll described, the gang members were older Genin - meaning Juniko should be looking for adult men and not adolescents. It also gave a description of each individual, their names, ages, and items they were suspected in holding. The only thing that concerned her was the rusty katana; she knew very little about the art of kenjutsu and didn't want to be on the nasty side of it either.
Knowing that it would be easier to catch the gang in their actions towards the evening and the night, Juniko decided to stake out. Stumbling across a dango shop, she swiftly showed the owner her mission scroll, asking permission to stay in his shop until closing (which was at approximately sunset). As hours went by, she made sure to ask civilians who came in the dango shop about the gang, knowing that more information would be beneficial. She wouldn't her anything useful until -
An older woman came into the dango shop. She had creases underneath her eyes that came from smiling too hard and despite her bony, narrow frame, she continued to sport a jovial personality. As Juniko questioned her, she was rather surprised by what the woman had to offer.
"Ah, yes... they go by 'The Litter Bug Gang', I believe. They are quiet a hassle to deal with when they decide to destroy property ..." spoke the old woman whom casually took a seat next to the younger kunoichi. Adjusting her hitai-ate, Juniko turned to face her. "Have you seen them before, then?" she questioned. She didn't want to miss an opportunity to find more about them and to pin point their exact location.
"Yes, yes. They generally hang out in the alley about five blocks from here. Be careful, though, miss! They are supposedly Genin themselves; I'd be wary if I were you." continued to the woman, eyeing Juniko firmly. Rising from her seat, Juniko bowed her head towards the woman respectfully and quickly darted out of the dango shop. From the way the sky looked (a translucent orange and purple mix), it was sunset.
Following the older woman's instructions, Juniko walked five blocks, carefully making sure to avoid making any loud footsteps. Making a hitsuji handseal with her hands, she made sure to focus a miniscule amount of her chakra to her feet, cushioning her footsteps to prevent herself from being overhead. As she approached the final block, Juniko heard voices - and decided to lay her back flat against the wall, listening in.
" ... So we'll break all his windows in the shop, right?" mumbled a voice. It sounded like an older man with a deep voice who seemed to be whispering as if to reduce overhearing; little did he know that Juniko was already listening in intently.
"Yeah!" replied two other voices in unison. "This must be the gang.." thought Juniko, careful to listen for any more movements. Hearing the sound of footsteps approach her, she realized that this would be her only opportunity to approach them. Pushing her back leg off the wall and stood in the alley way, standing in front of the three men.
".. Eh? Get lost, little lady. You're in the way." spoke a man. His disposition was annoyed and his physique was astonishingly muscular and large. Juniko's placid, blank facade allowed her to seem unafraid of such a man, which seemed to only bother him once more. From what she remembered to read in the scroll, she deducted that he was Jako, the de-facto leader of the gang.
"Dunno, she's pretty cute, Jako! exclaimed a gruff, skinny man. He was most definitely Tadao based on the comment he made. The other man had a katana held propped up on his right shoulder and although he said nothing, Juniko knew he was the final member of the gang. The members seemed to be annoyed at their attempt - albeit failed one - to garner a response from Juniko. Her almond eyes lowered to slits as she glared aggressively towards the three men, her eyes piercing like shards of ice.
"Dealing with a few Genin drop outs like yourselves shouldn't be too much of a problem.." spoke the kunoichi after a pregnant pause. A sly grin returned to her face as she took a step forward, the sound of her sandals hitting the ground echoing throughout the alley.
