It was time for Yakushi to leave the village of Konohagakure...he hadn't met up with Demi King for she had... mysteriously vanished from sight and the word of the death of the King was... devastating to say the least. He had spent months there, wallowing in despair, hate and rage; wanting to burst and go on a killing spree but the words of Demi only held him back from doing such a thing. He knew that Demi wouldn't approve of him doing such a thing, only she would be allowed to do such a thing and he would happily cover it up. Well, just goes to show how corrupt some things are. Or at least...used to be. Yaku packed the few bags that he had worth of clothing and food. He opened his eyes, the air around him turning into a gentle breeze, even though no such air current was in the room. The joys of the Zozo clan. Being able to create air, even if it wasn't near him in the slightest.
"...For Demi and King. I will live on." He said calmly. He had no one to serve anymore and going Nukenin...was certainly an option but again, Demi would be upset if she had seen him or even heard of him going Nukenin. Even after the death of the King and the disappearance of Demi King, Yaku's loyalty remained with them forever but for now, Yaku had to do something with his life, other than stand by and do nothing. He was a shinobi so by all rights, he had responsibilities to carry out, regardless of being without a village so...the only place that he could think of was to go to Kirigakure...they had been on good terms with Kusa, regardless of the small significance. Picking up his luggage, Yaku turned away from the room and exited the hotel building, leaving the village gates of Konohagakure. Vowing that one day, he would return. Be it for the good reasons or the bad reasons. Either way, this village hadn't seen the last of him just yet.
Kirigakure, the village hidden in the rain. Or was it water...? Yaku could care less. All he had to do was join the village...moving on from the past for that is what his lord, Demi King, would have wanted for him. He had to be strong because he wasn't even sure if she had been killed, unlike her father. She had simply disappeared from the face of the earth. Even the village ANBU of Kusa hadn't been able to track her down so there was no evidence of her demise anywhere...then again, something greater could be at work and she could have died from the result of that. Kirigakure was close...since the weather had only just changed.
Entering the vicinity of the village, heavy rains pouring down hard onto Yaku, his clothing and long hair becoming more and more wet by the second, his hardened mask covering his face as his bright white eyes would, almost, illuminate on through the holes in the mask. He was going to join Kiri, hell, he had to join Kirigakure. He couldn't just sit on his hole and do nothing with his life and the village was in sight...just an hour of walking would get him there, his body tired and slightly weary from the non-stop travel. Not once did he stop for a breather or some food. He simply ate a few bits here and there and just continued on.
"Kiri...please accept me..." He said calmly as he entered the village gates, soon being confronted by gate guards. This is where his new life was going to begin...
