D-rank
Song was laying on her back on the grass staring at the clouds just outside the main village. It was nice to watch the storm clouds gathering and witness the immense power there. Another storm ready to tear into Kumo as unstoppable as ever. Still she held up her hand pretending she was using her affinity to the lightning element to inflict damage on some demon god. As if she where some epic hero. The rock music in her ears seemed to be her theme song as she envisioned herself as some great warrior duchess. A seat of power and the Iron hand of inward strength to go with it. She felt the excitement rushing through her chakra as the thunder claps in the clouds. It made her flinch her hand away from the noise. Surely a lightning bolt could kill her. Even with her healing. She shivered as she sat up quickly her head phones popping out. Thunder was a prelude to rain and as much as she liked dancing in the rain she did not feel like dealing with a cold. Still she noticed some people rushing around with alarmed sounding voices from across the field at the farm. How could farmers not be prepared for a storm? It was sudden but it happened in Kumo plenty.
Still she sighed and rose to her feet. She might as well help them out if she could. Quickly she hopped the fence heading over to the older man shouting directions. He was scruffy and well built and his skin was kind of leathery. Obviously an aged farmer. So she went to him and waited to be noticed. Once he did he looked relatively surprised at the sudden appearance of a young lady. At first he ordered her to get out of there and go home before the storm hit but then he noticed her head band around her neck. So before she could even finish shrugging and walking away He grabbed her shoulder. He asked who she was and she finally informed him of her status of a genin and he looked relieved. He took her aside and nodded out to the men trying to herd the frightened animals into the barn. Informing her that the animals where frightened and the farm hands where having issues getting them into the barn. So if she could help the old man would pay her 70 ryo.
Song merely shrugged with a sure gesture like nod. Before she headed out into the field. It was mostly cattle with some other mixed live stock. She contemplated how to start the mission. Most of the farm hands where collecting the larger animals that where worth more but no one was paying attention to the smaller animals. And the bunnies where so cute! Her eyes lit up as she raced to the bunnies first. reaching into the cages with a renewed determination now. She grabbed bunnies by the arm full and rushed them to the barn. After all such cute critters where a priority! Afterwards she went through the frustration of collecting the chickens. They kept running from her and struggling when she caught them but she managed to collect them all after some effort. Then after they where all collected She turned to the larger animals. Helping the farm hands herd the cattle and sheep into the pins in the barn. Finally all the animals where collected and the storm hit in full. The farmer congratulated her on her hard work and insisted she stayed in the barn till the storm passed. During that time she played with the bunnies and the next day when the storm passed she went home smiling happily.
