Gin
Retired
Gin held the invitation in her hand and read it over and over again. Her jaw was set firmly, her teeth were clenched. She knew what this could mean - All of the Kage united once again in one single room. It was only natural that she would be afraid. Given her current state of body and mind, she was in no position to fight any of them. Of course, these meetings were meant to be for negotiations and the like, but in all honesty, a fight was bound to break out for one reason or another. She could feel it in her gut, wrenching and pulsing inside her. Of course, that might also just be the fact that she had been physically ill ever since Trilby left. She attributed her daily vomiting and fatigue to psychological causes. But she atill had to travel, lest Sunagakure look weak in front of the entire world. her fist clenched, crumbling up the invitation and throwing it into a corner of her office. Gin adjusted the long, silver robe that she was wearing. It wasn't her usual attire. In fact, the long, silvery dress was far from it. She was wearing a long kimono that hid away most of her body, except the large dip in her chest that showed a fair amount of cleavage. Both of her katanas were by her side, as always. However, they made her feel uneasy. It was as if that sword were adding an additional weight to her body and soul.
Gin was in pain. Pain that she had to hide away from the rest of the world, lest the consequences come to haunt her later on. She had to put on a facade, she had no other choice. She took a deep breath, stepping out of her office building to head towards the gates of Sunagakure. She had called on Yui Inuzuka to join her in the summit. The woman had proven to be trustworthy enough. She would do well as a body guard for Gin. Not only that, but she was a medic and Gin was well aware of the fact that she was going to need healing at some point while she was there. She didn't know whether or not the Inuzuka would travel with her. If she didn't, Gin would just meet her at the summit. There was no need to rush the woman, despite the fact that it wouldn't be smart for the young Kazekage to travel alone at a time like this. But going alone... it would give her a chance to try and search for him. She knew that the possibilities of finding him were minimal and that even if they came across each other, he would likely never listen to her plea. But there was still a dim hope inside her heart that he would come back to her soon. Gin turned back to look at Suna, at her home for one last time before she left for the Summit. Something in her gut told her that this might have been the last time that she would see the village. But with that in mind, she set off.
