Song had gone in to make some money for herself by doing some missions. For now she just wanted to take it easy so she smiles to the Ninja there handing out missions selecting the simple scroll retrieval one. It had very little value but at the same time took very little effort. Which was honestly perfect because at the moment she was feeling lazy. So for now she accepts the mission and walks out the door. A short stop of a girl among everyone else there. Her head barely reaching shoulder length of some people.

She smiles to herself as she makes her way to the road. A slight snack of an apple tucked into her pocket of the coat she was wearing. Her head band tied up in her hair like an accessory. It was going to be a decent trip at least. Her booted feet carry her down the main road of town towards the mine As she hums a new Song she was working on. The theme of it was alternative rock with an up beat sound to it but honestly it was still in the making. She pauses in her thoughts as she notices the Mine coming up. Fantastic. She was making better time then she thought. Would it be possible to get this done quickly? Damn she hoped so. The Mine creeped her out. Either way she makes her way down the incline and hops to a stop at the bottom with a big old smile on her face.

The mine was more active then she had thought it would be. People where moving to and fro from the road all the way to the mine. Miners and traders alike. For now she simply had to search out the individual in question. Tom was his name. Song move into the area and walks over to a trader asking about for tom. Surprisingly it took her three tries with three people to finally find out who Tom was. Apparently He was the one with a whole bunch of Barrels. Song found that interesting but doesn't question it as she moves off in the direction she was pointed to.

Song turns a corner and almost runs face first into a Barrel. Mumbling about Barrel placement she moves around it to see an older man moving about. He seemed to be shuffling as if uncomfortable. Oh well how could anyone be comfortable this close to a creepy dark hole in the stone? It must be like being buried under ground. She shivers at the thought as she approaches. Her smile put up for the ease of the mission. She clears her throat as the man seemed to completely miss her entrance into his domain.

"Mr. Tom? I am the Genin Song sent to retrieve the Item in question in your possession?"

Mr. Tom jumps slightly and turns to look at her in surprise before some sort of look like relief maybe? Before he approaches her and pats her on the shoulder letting out a long sigh.

"A thank the merciful gods. I have ta take a leak and can't trust these vagrants as far as you can throw em. Watch me barrels while I go piss and ill give ye what your here for."

With that he leaves a rather surprised Song there. Shuffling off into the distance and out of sight. She pouts a moment before reaching into her pocket and pulling out an apple. The sweet flavor of it was like heaven for a moment. She closes her eyes to enjoy it and when she reopens them some brat is standing in front of her. At eye height no less.. God that was frustrating. She glares a little as he opens his mouth to speak.

"Wanna have some fun? Bet we can break all the barrels before he gets back."

The idea of it was trouble and her mission might fail. and if she failed an easy mission. She growls and flicks him in the nose sending him off. A short while later she tosses the core of the now less enjoyable apple to the side and waits... soon the man Tom returns and seems to have relieved himself. He hands her the scroll as payment and she smiles skipping back to town with the mission completed. turning in the scroll for her payment.
