Mission name: Root out Spies in Kirigakure
Mission rank: ANBU
Objective: Secure the flow of information in Kirigakure.
Location: Kirigakure, Mizu no Kuni
Reward: 1000 Ryo
Mission Description: One of the jobs of the ANBU is to ensure the secrets of the village stay safe. Ensure that Kirigakure is safe from spies, and that any potential channels of leaking information are cut at the source.
Mission Details: A shinobi of any rank may take this mission by themselves as long as they are in ANBU. It behaves as an A-Rank mission for clerical purposes.

Whether there is a spy present within Kirigakure or not is up to the writer of this mission. There is no guarantee that they will find one or that there are any, but rather this is an open ended mission asking for the writer to strengthen Kirigakure’s defenses and ensure that no information leaks from the village. There are a large number of ways in which this could be done. If the writer does decide to interact with a spy, that spy will have the following abilities.

Mission Description: A shinobi of any rank may take this mission by themselves as long as they are in ANBU. It behaves as an A-Rank mission for clerical purposes.

One of the jobs of the ANBU is to ensure the secrets of the village stay safe. Through the study of mental encryption techniques this can be done subtly. There have been theorized scrolls that, after being read, would have the information encrypted in the brain of the reader. This encryption could protect against members of the Yamanaka Clan, or any others that would attempt to search the reader’s mind. There are numerous potential ways that this technology could be utilized. Study these techniques through the use of the ANBU Time Reversal Technique in search of encrypted memories on a number of test subjects.
Mission Details: Killing any of the test subjects will result in the mission being failed.

Mission name: Search for Information on Nature Arrays
Mission rank: ANBU
Objective: Study the application of natural energy.
Location: Kirigakure, Mizu no Kuni
Reward: 1000 Ryo
Mission Description: The phrase “nature array” comes up several times in journals written by the First Mizukage. It is currently unknown what he was referring to, but there are theories that this relates to nature chakra and senjutsu in some way. Several members of the Jugo Clan, who can naturally utilize nature chakra in order to mutate their bodies, have been captured for the purposes of study. The researchers studying them have requested that a shinobi come and do battle with them under clinical conditions so that the use of nature chakra in their bodies may be studied.

Killing the captured Jugo will fail the mission. They will go berserk and attempt to escape, and so you must engage in combat with them without fatally harming them.The captured Jugo will have the following abilities.

Mission name: Assassinate Potential Threat
Mission rank: ANBU
Objective: Assassinate political figure in the Land of Tea
Location: Cha no Kuni
Reward: 1500 Ryo
Mission Description: There has been a political figure in the Land of Tea who has called for war against Kirigakure for their repeated acts of aggression. The relationship between the Land of Tea and Kirigakure has always been tense but calls for direct warfare are uncommon. Allowing this talk to spread would be dangerous to the village, and thus this politician must be eliminated.
Mission Details: A shinobi of any rank may take this mission by themselves as long as they are in ANBU. It behaves as an A-Rank mission for clerical purposes.

The political figure in the Land of Tea who is calling for war against Kirigakure is a defenseless civilian and will pose no threat to a trained shinobi. The challenge in this mission is infiltrating the Land of Tea and assassinating the man in secrecy without being discovered.

As this mission requires a shinobi to act against a nation that Kirigakure is not officially at war with it is considered a Crime Mission. The information on Crime Missions is listed below.

Mission name: Infiltrate the Great Shinobi Villages

Objective: Infiltrate one of the great shinobi villages,
Location: Konohagakure no Sato OR Kumogakure no Sato OR Iwagakure no Sato
Reward: 1000 Ryo
Mission Description: It is the job of the ANBU to ensure the village is always aware of the motivations of its neighbours. Go an infiltrate one of the great shinobi villages and discover whatever information that you can.
Mission Details: This mission requires the writer to interact with other player characters rather than NPCs, and as a result has a non-typical method of completion. Rather than word count, this mission is considered to be completed once the described goal of collecting information and bringing it back to Kirigakure is completed. Once this is completed the information gathered will be judged by the Mizukage, or another member of prominence (the ANBU Commander, the Hunter-Nin Commander, or the Captain of the Seven Swordsmen) to determine whether it is worthy of reward. There are no word count requirements to this mission.

Anyone who fulfills these in character requirements may complete and turn in this mission, regardless of what rank they are in and whether or not they are in ANBU. This mission counts as A-Rank for clerical purposes.

Objective: Discover information on Sunagakure remnants.
Location: Sunagakure no Sato?

Mission Description: It is the job of the ANBU to ensure the village is always aware of the motivations of its neighbours. There is a specific interest in the going ons of the remnants of Sunagakure to Kirigakure. Dive into the desert nation of the Land of Wind and discover what information you can about what remains of their shinobi forces.
Mission Details: This mission requires the writer to interact with other player characters rather than NPCs, and as a result has a non-typical method of completion. Rather than word count, this mission is considered to be completed once the described goal of collecting information and bringing it back to Kirigakure is completed. Once this is completed the information gathered will be judged by the Mizukage, or another member of prominence (the ANBU Commander, the Hunter-Nin Commander, or the Captain of the Seven Swordsmen) to determine whether it is worthy of reward. Objective: Engage in battle with one of Kirigakure's enemies.

Mission Description: Bring the fight to one of Kirigakure's enemies. Simply engage in battle with a nukenin or somebody who is aligned against the village of Kirigakure and you will be rewarded for your efforts regardless of if you win or lose. This mission requires the writer to interact with other player characters rather than NPCs, and as a result has a non-typical method of completion. Rather than word count, this mission is considered to be completed once the described goal of engaging in battle with an enemy of Kirigakure is completed. There are no word count requirements to this mission.
