Clan History: The Niidashi Clan was born after the Fourth Shinobi World War, stemming from the trauma that it produced on a young shinobi of Kirigakure. In order to cope with the incessant violence of the war and still retain his humanity, his personality was split into two different halves. Each of these was essentially the opposite of the other. One was compassionate and kind while the other was aggressive and sought out its own survival. The two were in fact, so different, that they were often considered two entirely different people. The following generation seemed to inherit the same personality disorder. However, something had changed. The personality disorder had manifested physically.

Each member of the new generation suffered physical changes within their bodies when they switched from one personality to the other. They found that while their Yang personality was locked into an aggressive specialization, their Yin was locked into a passive specialization. What changed particularly was their chakra's primary nature and their strength or speed, depending on which of the two personalities was active.

The two siblings that were born as members of the second generation were looked down upon by the rest of Kirigakure, the same way that their father had been because of his disorder. They found that they were unable to control which personality was active. Therefore, they decided to dedicate themselves to developing a way to keep themselves under control, mostly so that they could appear "normal" when among other villagers of Kirigakure. They were eventually able to develop a jutsu that would allow them to switch personalities at will.

When the third generation was born, neither sibling expected the newly born children to possess their same defect. However, these new children inherited their exact same conditions. Thus, the Yin and Yang Kekkei Genkai was born, manifesting itself within each member of the family, which grew with every generation until it was established as a full-fledged Clan.

When the forth generation was born into the clan, they found that they were no longer locked into the Ninjutsu and Genjutsu specializations as their ancestors were, but no longer received that benefit of being strong in them either. While they were free to utilize whatever they chose they were not inherently stronger in those aspects. On top of this the clan discovered their Kekkei Genkai had evolved in a way, splitting the personalities even further then before. Now the clan members were unable to share specializations learned by the other personality and each personality could only learn two specializations but they were capable of becoming extremely strong in both, if trained properly. Since then, the Niidashi have lived within their own sector of Kirigakure and are often rejected by other villagers because of their strange Kekkei Genkai.

Kekkei Genkai Name: Yin and Yang
Kekkei Genkai Description: Members of the Niidashi Clan are born with two different personalities that are essentially two different people sharing the same body. Each one is the opposite of the other in perfect balance, which is why the Kekkei Genkai receives the name of Yin and Yang. The shinobi must always start a topic as the dominant personality and is able to switch between the personalities once every other post, except for the first post. The switch itself costs 5 chakra to occur, but nothing to maintain. There is no drawback to keeping either personality in control of the body for an extended period of time. At 30 chakra left, the shinobi will revert back to their dominant personality and will not be able to make another switch. To the Niidashi Clan, the act of switching personalities is called is called 'Exchanging Souls'.

Depending on which of the two personalities is in use, the shinobi is granted access to a different element, specialty, behavior and physical bonus:
Members of Niidashi clan can learn one additional specialization per personality; this additional specialization is treated as a secondary specialization and can be ranked up to SS-rank. Both personalities can learn this specialization at B-rank/Special Jōnin.

Also, because of the drastic difference in personalities, each personality may hold two special characteristics. One of these characteristics must be shared between the two and effects them both, the other one may be unique to the Yin or Yang personality. These MUST be counter balanced by negative characteristics.

Drawbacks:
Since the Niidashi are essentially two different people locked into one same body, each personality is unable to access the elements and specialties of the other. This applies across the board as each personality starts with a single Specialization and Element of their choice. However, the personalities cannot learn beyond their first element (ex. Yin knows Raiton, Yang knows Suiton, and cannot learn beyond those two elements).

Elements and Specializations for both personalities begin at C-rank.

Members of Niidashi clan cannot learn specializations already in use with their other personality, (ex. if the Yin personality knows Medical Ninjutsu and Kugutsu, then the Yang personality cannot learn these two specialties. He cannot access jutsu in those branches or avail of any buffs given by them). Members of Niidashi Clan MUST define which personality is dominant and which Element and Specialization each Personality utilizes. These are locked to the personality.
Any other specializations not mentioned above can be learned by either personality. It should also be noted that the personalities are not specifically barred from using their skills in a way that do not align with their nature. This may be considered out of character to the personality, but it is not forbidden.

First off I think its awesome you are revamping this clan! ^_^ there are a few changes and details I'd like to see and if you have any questions let me know.

So the big one is current clan rules no longer have jutsu as part of the kkg, but the idea of switching between yin and yang is an effect you can have as part of the clan and not actually a jutsu. First, what would the cooldown/duration that must be met for each phase be(IE does yang need to last two posts before being swapped to ying). Second,Are there any costs/drawback that occur when the changes are made other than the loss of access to the other personalities(IE cant use jutsu that post/must not move while doing so)

The dominant personality can learn this specialization at B-rank/Special Jōnin. The recessive personality can learn a secondary specialization at A-rank/Jōnin.

This is the only mention I see of dominant personalities in this clan other than the statement that one must be declared, are there any other differences than being able to learn the second specialization at different ranks? If not, id recommend both the personalities' second specializations be available to be trained at B-rank. If there are other benefits/drawbacks to having one personality being the dominant list those.

In the portion about passive and aggressive specializations within Yin and Yang, is that just a descriptor as far as the style of those specialization's, or does it limit the type of jutsu that personality is able to use as well as far as offensive/defensive/supplementary. (IE would the Yin personaliy be unable to train/use offensive jutsu?) Also, kuchiyose and bukijutsu are no longer specializations, here is a link to the current specializations.

The following specializations are available to the Yin personality, but NOT the Yang personality: Genjutsu Fūinjutsu	Because this personality is highly aggressive, it cannot learn passive Specializations that cause no physical harm to targets. The following specializations are available to the Yang personality, but NOT the Yin personality: Ninjutsu Taijutsu

Any other specializations not mentioned above can be learned by either personality. I may have missed this the first time around, but for the first spec are yin/yang locked to the ones listed? if so put that in the specialization space at the top of the clan. Also put that in the kkg decription
