THE CHUUNIN EXAMS. The opening line that escaped the lips of the nefarious rap scallion, the infamous swashbuckling web swinging quip giving ever energetic the amazing Spider-Nin himself Xiao who had managed to go an entire Chuunin Exams event and not win a single bout. Some say he was trained this way as a joke, something for Sero to poke fun at whenever he was growing bored with his dastardly schemes or the eternal plots he weaved. Some say Xiao was just in his cocoon form, ready to burst forward at anytime with his true 'form' and become a grand S-Class shinobi ready to rival the gods...and those who actually knew Xiao knew it was purely derived from the fact that when it came to the little Spider he just didn't really have a heart for battle nor find it all that interesting.

Regardless of this fact, combat was what the people were here for and battle was what made them smile and that was enough motivation for Xiao to continue in his efforts. He was after all an entertainer first and a shinobi second in part due to never having truly suffered outside the norms of the shinobi life or rather because of that which he did suffer motivating him to hide away behind humor but those angsty written linkin park styled allusions would have a place for another time, here? It was time to fight and fight they would.

Xiao had opted to do the same time and time again and differed no more in his efforts wishing to challenge a random audience member though this time his voice grew hoarse and instead he merely stood by the side of his often seen soapbox with a sign that simply read "WILL FIGHT 4 ATTENTION" someone may find it amusing enough to take him on in combat

A stranger began to approach, wavered brunette hair that wavered as she walked through the crowd to the middle of the arena itself much to the delight of the little spider. He wasn't used to fighting women of any sort, but every woman that he had met thus far was one of utter brutality, ruthlessness or mystery and naught had changed his view very much. Perhaps it was just a side effect of being a Kirigakure Shinobi, a place in which the God of your existence was the ever mysterious God of Shinobi herself and the constant reminder of her power thus creating somewhat of a distorted view of reality. Whilst many kirigakure ninja seemed to be made from the same 'content' with white hair, pale skin, gaunt faces and bloodlust coursing through their veins Xiao was a little different in part due to his constant wearing of a second 'face' also known as a mask to those not clinically insane, being rather short and of course his gelel knight like features that gave him rounded eyes with lack of double fold and wide shoulders. He looked more as if he would fit in Iwagakure than the land he resided but when it came to such things it never bothered the little shinobi all that much.

As Masu spoke in her good willed tone the little spider immediately shot 'finger guns towards' her as a sign of approval "That's what I'm hoping for!" Xiao stated with a chuckle as he let his hands drop back to his sides, one gently moving to the back of his neck to scratch as he contemplated his next explaination "You had much experience?" Xiao stated genuinely asking in his own way, scratching his neck gently in an anxious manner "Cause right now, I've been doing this by the hour, don't worry though you will win this one, but let's make it a show okay...Watch my fingers, I'll show you which direction to dodge...unleash everything you got, okay? I'm uh Kyutai by the way, nice to meet you, let's have some fun..." Xiao stated as he leaped backwards an additional 5m and proceeded to point to Masu "PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE WRATH OF KIRIGAKURE"

As Xiao posed with hand outstretched towards Masu the little spider of the mist opted to act 'shocked' at Masu's remark of accepting the challenge. Shaking his head he began to crack his knuckles, rolling his neck slowly as he looked to the kunoichi immitating in a way Maikeru a man he had recently fought and in said fight learned quite a lot on what it meant to be tough. The very concept was - quite obviously - alien to the little pacifist spider who only wished to bring merriment and cheer to all those he knew and increase the ever growing web of uniting friendship that he spun. Masu was an interesting figure, much more responsive than others he had came across namely those with the dark brooding pasts who would often dismiss Xiao but Masu seemed to actually engage and it made the little spider feel that surge of energy he'd been looking for to reinvigorate his spirit for the chuunin exams.

"PREPARE, FOR THE ULTIMATE S-CLASS JUTSU" the mist shinobi of the alias 'Kyutai' stated which was a blatant lie, he had nothing beyond that of C rank when it came to his arsenal and frankly even those were mostly pathetic in contrast to the great jutsu masters that populated the chuunin exams. With grand boosts and buffs whilst Xiao was still content throwing a shuriken and feeling satisfied if it hit even close to the opponent. He began to weave his unmei chakra to his wrists as per usual to generate the web like chakra threads that he relief on perhaps a little too frequently. "If this hits you...then you'll be completely unable to use your chakra for the rest of your life! S-CLASS - WEB OF SERO'S ULTIMATE DARKNESS!" he called out as webs flew towards Masu as Xiao ensured as they hurried forward he would quickly with one hand point upwards and with his other make 'half' a symbol to show the sign of lightning, a weakness that the webs had. Katon and Raiton, the bane of all spiders of Sero's brood and yet once more Xiao was more than happy to expose his weaknesses for the sake of entertainment.

He was glad to see her playing along, that much was for certain, it was a rarity for people to 'get it' so quickly and yet Masu had figured out the scheme or rather the ethos that Kyutai held. He was a spider of the mist, that much was true, and with that came an array of monstrous images but as time went on perhaps it was becoming more and more likely that Kyutai's web of friendship would be the future of the spider clan with it's dwindling members and with the allies of many lands he seemed to have gained. The small spider smiled as a sword was brought forward sending the shuriken skyward followed by...lightning bullets?

Kyutai's hands were thrown skyward in surprise "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but you can SHOOT lightning? That's just...That's awesome!" the spider stated with utter delight watching the shinobi's flashy lightshow that caused the web to split evenly down the middle as four bullets flew forward, deciding to add insult to injury he considered for a moment taking the hit front on but as her eyes darted low Kyutai so too figured such a concept may be ideal. Rushing forward and moving into a baseball slide under the bullets as they soared over head his legs twisted in a ballet like positioning as Kyutai's body propelled him forward hading towards the girl as he twisted in a perfect spiral landing closer to the girl as he proceeded to launch twin webbing from his wrist in an arch. They were little, less than an e-rank and merely a natural way for him to manuever, even being hit would be akin to silly strong with their grip being quite similar in manner to glue tack or dried PVA glue of art attack fame. Kyutai opted to launch the two straight forward aiming at the girl's face without much thought giving a small sign with his fingers to indicate to the left and once again made the sign of lightning to hint to her to continue with the light show
