Masu walked around the small blocks of shops around looking for something to do, she lacked a proper motivation or goal to do today but she knew something had to come across her at some point. But she roamed around the block looking around at the shops and the small little venues open. There wasn't anything that seemed to appeal to Masu still yet she waited patiently for someone or something to arrive. She checked out on the park bench while she liked to observe the flowers and the small little grass patches drifting in the wind, while the birds chirp upon a tree next to her. She always loved the calm environment that was brought upon Konoha's garden and more. She entered her thoughts, she very much had a positive mindset and the happiness flooded her system like it always does. As she looked over near the stores, she saw the kids and parents walking around talking laughing and enjoying themselves and memories that they may remember for a long time, maybe something may come around to her, but for now just a simple trickle of thoughts and ideas came to her. As outrageous as it sounds she would think of the most illogical ideas such as a world without chakra or ninjas and how much different it would be, what would there jobs be like? What do they fight about? Or what do they even do in their spare time.

During her thinking period she looked around to make sure no one was stalking her, but it was a pretty bad look around for a ninja. She merely glanced at nothing pretending as if she did, but to her it seemed safe of course. Her carefree nature and letting go of those that may impose her would never reach her mind at this moment in time. She didn't have much to really do, but that was no bother to someone like Masu. She would simply start twiddling her fingers letting reality pass her and awaiting the next chapter or moment that would come to her in time, she could smell some of the food from the oncoming stores she smelt on as the noodles and beef would assume a position to make her hungry. But she didn't want to go by herself or even give into the idea of spending to much on food at this moment and she knew she would. She wanted to lose some more weight as she was nearing a journey ahead of her, and wanted to adjust her body right for the conditions of the Land of Wind. For now she kept on smelling upon the food, but resisted for as long as she could. She needed something in her system and the tea she had earlier was barely suppressing her appetite for any much longer, she was gonna break.

Akaneya had been enjoying the winter day, as much as she could enjoy anything in particular. Although many thoughts flooded her mind, as they always did, she remained as stoic as she ever had been in the face of the crowded streets. Also in usual fashion, she took every precaution to avoid having to come into direct contact with crowds. In fact, she tried to avoid as many people as possible, always taking roundabout ways of travel that, in the proper circumstance, would confuse and disorient any who had been trying to follow her. The ANBU who kept watch might not be so easy to get rid of, but she had become somewhat accustomed to them; certainly, they were no worse than what she'd known for much of her life already anyway.

Wandering eventually into one of the many garden spaces throughout the village, Akaneya stood at the edge an observed the scene. It had been kept green and relatively warm despite the season, and was kept miraculously free of snow like much of the village. Perhaps some jutsu was cast to keep it in such a state, or perhaps its position in the village simply made it ideal, but all the same it was empty of people, empty of ice, and empty of distraction, the perfect environment for Akaneya to make herself empty of mind in her usual meditations. Stepping inside the garden at last, she had a place in mind.

Overlooking the koi pond in a roughly central location, she leaned on the railing of the bridge crossing over and looked into the water. The colorful fish danced about as lively as if it were the warmest spring day. A few types of birds had likewise shown up, some bobbing while others sit near the shore. One might suppose the sanctuary of green that the garden had been would only naturally attract such animals. Watching the water swirl with the movements of both, Akaneya's mind began to clear. It was not a typical meditation, and most certainly not the sort that monks in the temples would teach, but the unusual circumstances of her life simply meant she never did anything quite the way that she was supposed so. So it goes, she cared not - it was effective, that's all that mattered.

In tune with her senses, her vision began to blur as she zoned out. She heard the small splashes and dribbles of the water, and the subtle noises of the birds. She smelled the fresh garden air, the faint scent of flowers in the chilling breeze, and the spices and sauces of the nearby restaurants. Most importantly, though, she felt the presence, the disturbance in the natural atmosphere of sounds and breezes and the flow and vibrations of the air, of the girl sitting nearby, staring at her.

Masu wasn't one to get consumed by natures entrance but today was a different day, and anything was possible. She considered the sounds of the wind and the pictures it painted in her head as she stared onwards towards the world yet someone took her interest, she knew most of the people who had lived in Konoha for a long time. This face was someone new to her at least, but this may be due to the recent influx of people and the emergence of smaller clans and the families who reside with them. But she hadn't seen this girl's face around town beforehand so it was a surprise to the young brown haired girl to look upon someone who was much shorter with Auburn type hair. She was very much lean and also seemed to be admiring the koi pond which Masu always took an interest to whenever she visited Konoha. Birds began chirping once again and in her head, Masu always made the birds feel like they told her a message or a song specifically for each person and this bird called out to the multi-eye colored girl to talk to the newfound stranger nearby. Masu already didn't have much planned for the day and was a throwaway day in her mind for what she planned to do, so maybe something like this could spice up her journey.

She began to fiddle with her hands before the smells of fresh lavender hit her and the chilling calm paced breeze grazed her skin to raise her hair as she would have to push it out of her eyes. She thought about the idea of approaching the girl and decided to take that leap of faith, she could read the type of person she was and she didn't seem the most open to just anyone around her. "Okay..I, got this." She muttered under her breath as she double checked her back pockets for any lost possessions that she may not have on her such as her keys. This was a little tactic she used in her head to relieve her anxiety by trying to focus on something that holds less value so she wouldn't feel as anxious about the situation.

She began walking closer towards the seemingly shorter women as she stuck her hand out in a gesture of kindness and began to speak, "Hi there! My names Masu, I don't think I've met you before whats you're name?" As she stuck out her hand she smiled patiently tilting her head to suggest a sense of kindness and open feeling for this stranger, she had an obsession with nature similar to Masu herself, and she could make a new friend here. "You know, I've seen most people around Konoha but I haven't seen you before. Are you new in town or am I just oblivious? But its a nice day, nature is calming and not to full-on unlike the city. Oh gosh I'm super hungry, do you wanna go eat somewhere and chill out I wanna get to know ya!" Masu smiled as she felt her stomach grumble, looking into the eyes of this new found stranger.

She didn't have a moment to lose and grabbed her by the arm and began to drag her as she started to run around looking for a place to eat and looking back to her she began to speak. "These places are cool, where do you wanna eat its all up to you!" As she began to hold her hand and run in directions of the inner town to find oncoming shops she had and hadn't been to before. Usually, this side of town was a lot more friendly and open to all newcomers and she could feel the warm welcoming presence for all those nearby.

Akaneya could hear the footsteps behind her, even without any sort of particular sensory abilities. She knew that the other sharing the space was now approaching. She took a deep, but soft, breath through her nose - smelling on the gentle winter air the scent of the garden's flowers and the tinge of the little pond before her, before letting out a quiet sigh just before the other began to speak. It introduced herself as Masu, and beckoned that she respond.

Answering in her usual monotone, which in this instance would sound neither disinterested nor disconnected, but perhaps quieter than one might expect, she simply stated: "Akaneya," turning to face her counterpart and straightening her posture in one fluid motion and glancing down at the hand offered, "of the Kotone clan," she finished, placing her hand in Masu's and gripping gently. Her hold was not particularly firm, but was firm enough, and her accompanying shake was likewise not particularly strong, but strong enough. The more energetic Masu might've even felt slightly as if Akaneya's hand had been dragged, rather than properly participating. The girl didn't seem to notice anyway, for she immediately started speaking once more - initially probing, but rapidly shifting the topic of conversation to food.

Opening her mouth to answer what she had assumed was a question, Akaneya quickly found herself grabbed by the wrist and dragged along at a speed rivaled only by the Raikage himself. Letting out an audible noise of discomfort, somewhere between a confused groan and a shaky 'uh' of indecision, rattled by each gallop of her starved companion. As she was faced once more, and a question flew like an arrow straight to her, Akaneya's eyes widened while her pupils narrowed as she questioned what she'd just gotten into and how she'd keep up.

Digging her foot into the ground, and directing the flow of chakra to her soles, she felt a harsh tug as Masu tried to yank her forward based on momentum alone. Holding firm, she took a moment to catch her breath before looking up to the nearest sign. Finding they'd stopped next to a barbecue grill, a sigh escaped her lips as she spoke much louder than before - "How about we just eat here?"

For once, her monotone seemed to be slightly broken - only by what sounded like a hint of exhaustion or relief in her voice, catching her breath and feeling her heart pounding in her chest. While still not emotive, it was at the very least an improvement from the last time they'd spoken just a few moments ago. One might question if such a development was actually positive in nature, all things considered.
