Daremo
S-rank
Crunching into an apple, Daremo walked out of the kitchen wearing only a black kosode and a pair of dark grey hakama pants, and black geta that added an additional inch to his already impressive height. Eyes flickered towards the nearest window, seeing the darkness that was outside, it was not surprising considering how early in the morning it was. Walking down the hallway, he did his best to remain as quiet as possible, not wanting to wake up the sleeping twins yet, letting them get as much sleep as possible. There was no need to worry about waking up Amaya, she was probably awake the moment he exited the room to take a shower.
Stopping at a door, Daremo turned the knob, and opened it, walking inside of the workstation shared between him and Amaya. The spacious area with medical books, which wrapped around the room, in order alphabetically and by what subjects they speak on. These books were a combination of Daremo’s own, and whatever he and Amaya had picked up along the way. Though, the majority of the books were over subjects most people in their field new about. He dared not to put some of his more . . . detail work on the self. Nevertheless, the books were not of his concern, but, rather the parcel sitting on the table.
A day ago, he received a message from his Geshia grandmother, the woman who allowed him to become a geisha and helped his mother raise him. The elderly woman had mentioned how a couple of her girls have been getting sick all of a sudden with varying symptoms. As far as his grandmother knew, none of his sisters had come in contact with anyone sick. He knew that she was telling the truth, for, even when he was a Geisha, there was a policy against meeting with sick clients. His Geisha grandmother having put it in place to ensure her girls were safe. Though, it would seem his sisters still managed to get sick somehow. Going on with the letter, his grandmother requested him to come and check up on the girls. She did not particularly trust the medics in Iwagakure no Sato, and the normal doctor she turned to was out of the country. With one of his precious people needing his assistance, he had Hikari to deliver a message to his grandmother, stating he, along with Amaya, someone who she was aware of, would be there within a day or so. He also mentioned that there was a chance for her, and his sisters to finally meet the twins. Of course, he only sent the message after getting the ‘okay’ from Amaya.
And today was the day that they were planning on leaving. His grandparents called in a favor with an old acquaintance who would be the one took them in their carriage. Usually, Daremo would have just assisted on running trekking to Tsuchi no Kuni by foot, stopping within the towns when needed, but, this trip was different because the twins would be going, thus, he had to plan accordingly. Maybe this would be a nice change of pace for once?
Grabbing the parcel, Daremo exited the room, throwing his apple core into the trash before making his way to the twin’s shared room. Seeing their door already open, Daremo laid eyes on his wife, “Good morning, love.”, He spoke, kissing her on the cheek, the twins were too groggy to making their common ‘ewww’ sound towards seeing such affection. “Come on Lil man,” Daremo spoke, lifting up the already dressed Mamoru. The sleepy child trying his best not to let sleep take over again. “You ready?” He asked Amaya, already know the answer to the question. When it came to preparing things in advance, she was second to none. “Grandparents said they will be waiting for us with the carriage at the northern gate. “Once everything was taking care of, Daremo would exit the house, locking it up once Amaya was out, and begin making way towards the northern gate.
Upon making it to the gates, Daremo introduced himself and his family to the carriage driver. Once introductions were done with, everyone got within the carriage, conversing for the next couple of hours as they finally reaching Tsuchi no Kuni.
