Sounds of pattering feet broke the eerie silent morning as Kreiger and an odd looking individual walked along a dirt path on the outskirts of the Konoha forest. The man that had graced Kreiger with his company had very light blue skin and razor sharp, almost devilish looking teeth. He carried a large sword with him made of a dense blackened steel and even showed admiration towards Kreigers weapon of choice as well.

The man had introduced himself as a shinobi of the hidden mist village and a member of the Hoshigaki clan, the reason behind his appearance. The two had met when the mist shinobi stumbled upon Kreiger, this led to a sparring match between the two. The battle was long faught and with their sword skills evenly matched it ultimately was to be decided by their physical prowess and ninjutsu skill. The man from the mist held a slight advantage over Kreiger in the fight due to their conflicting chakra natures for water and fire. Even so, with his superior physical and chakra prowess, Kreiger did manage to finish the fight in a draw at rhe very least. Afterwords, the mist shinobi began to talk with Kreiger, and explained to him in more detail the inner-workings od the Konoha to Kiri exchange, a sort of alliance between the two villages.

The prospect of being able to travel the world a small bit sparked an interest in Kreiger, and he was quick to agree to accompany the Hoshigaki on his journey back to the mist village once his business in Konoha was complete.

They then split off from one another, agreeing to meet back at the leaf village gates at sunrise the next morning. Kreiger had no need for rest or sleep, an aspect that still bewildered him, so instead he used the time until their meeting for more training. Training that hopefully, would remain uninterrupted. As the rest of the day faded into night, Kreiger did eventually feel fatigued, not tired in a sleepy sense but exhausted from over working his body during training so deciding to allow a few hours rest for his body before the journey decided to head to the meeting place early to wait.

Arriving at the hidden leaf gate, the moon still reigned supreme in the night sky as Kreiger sat down against the large gates leading out of the village. He began to stare out into the trees, spacing off into thoughts about the outside world. So contained in his thoughts for hours was he that he failed to notice the sunrise fast approaching, only to be jolted back to reality by his new acquaintance. After a breif greeting they both walked off into the forest towards the hidden mist village, conversing about their goals for the future and boasting of past accomplishments.

At one point along the journey the two even decided to stop and have one last sparring match on the border between their respective countries. As they were due to seperate upon arrival at the hidden mist village, this could be their last chance to see who is superior to whom. Going in with prior knowledge of his elemental disadvantage this time around, Kreiger was able to once again make use of his more powerful physical body and raw chakra, in conjunction with his fire style clones to pull off a victory. The victory came to him high difficultly though and besting the mist shinobi had been no easy task. The Hoshigaki clan member shook Kreigers hand as a sign of respect, which in turn prompted the usually cocky Kreiger to compliment the mist shinobi stating that his fellow countrymen must be equally impressive and better understood the potential advantage of having such powerful allies.
