Ashi did not understand why, but the Jamie that got up this morning had a dark expression on his face. As she noticed he had the mission scroll crunched up tightly in his hand. She chose to be a respectable mother and to show her strong will by letting him go. As he went out he had a stare down with Tsume as things were becoming even more tense, with Tobourne stepping in when things looked to be picking up.

Jamie walked towards the location with his usual clothing as he met up with someone he had met before. They both glared at each other when first meeting, it was Kota of the Inazuka Clan. Kota had teased and ridiculed Jamie for being an outsider and a weakling. As Kota was opening his mouth he shouted out at Jamie like always. "What you doing here, could they not send a real man to help me out. Now i got to deal with a baby like you, this sucks. You lucky that you have my greatness here to make sure the dogs do not get away."

The elder dogs sighed while Aki seemed to be grinning as well as he stood near his partner as back up, Jamie was not sure how to react since it was a mission and a few of the younger dogs were making an escape. Jamie simply through three shuriken that landed right in front of the three dogs who wanted to escape as Aki got ready to attack, but stopped since even Kota knew as a Genin he could not attack Jamie for doing his job. "Hey, stop acting all good, you know to stick together! I do not need your help Jamie, I got this" as Jamie simply nodded as he went to pick up his shuriken the elder dogs knew already.

They had learned that they were no longer dealing with their average shinobi anymore, Jamie had risen and become a legend. A legendary pain in the butt as they realized he may not be going through puberty, but he was definitely going through an annoying phase in his life. Kota and Jamie glared at each other as the younger dogs became to scared to escape during this tension while the elder dogs just went along as usual being more mature about it as they began jogging along the hills.

Jamie and Kota kept a close watch on the dogs, the elder one's simply felt annoyed at the fact that it seemed more like their training and exercise, had been reduced to child's play as the wild young ones kept looking for a chance to escape. Jamie would cut them off on the left and Kota was keeping them in check on the right as the elder dogs would have a long talk to complain about this. It made you wonder if they were elder dogs or grumpy old men as the two children kept leading the pack from the sides rather then one jumping ahead or going behind. It was a tactic that formed from pride as moving in front meant watching over the dogs was left to the one at the back, while at the same time being at the back you might lose sight of the front of the pack as their centralized positioned forced the dogs to stick together to not look out of place.

As the mission continued Jamie kept a sharp eye on the dogs, paying less attention to Kota who eventually realized this and decided to start a small conversation along the way.

"Hey, weakling. Is it true what they said?" as he was referring to the rumor of Jamie and Shippo fighting. While a few dogs came across the fight it was unclear whether it was a real fight or simply training, however either option would not be looked down upon by the clan. However some of the elderly were gossiping about it including Kota's mother as he took a deep breathe as he paused as Jamie glared towards Kota for a moment.

The awkward silence continued for about five to ten minutes before Jamie spoke. "Do you even care?" as that statement had placed Kota in a tough place, if he said no it would make him a heartless monster and if he said yes it would make him seem like a caring pop tart as he glared at Jamie.

"I am just curious, idiot" as he gave his retort in the only way he knew how as one of the younger dogs saw this as an opening as Jamie through his kunai right in front of the dog startling it. The elder dogs sighed and the younger ones growled, however the elders glared at them so they would know it is their fault and not something to avenge. Kota glared at Jamie who returned the glare before focusing on their job again.

As the jogging continued as Kota was breathing a bit more heavily he noticed Jamie did not seem tired yet at all as he glared at him for a moment before asking. "Hey, you been training?" as that line was something Jamie had said not too long ago as he looked towards Kota for a moment before nodding as he blushed. He felt embarrassed about it, but Kota did not like the silence and he had calmed down a bit since the argument earlier on in their jog.

While Kota had done this before, he had been slacking off a bit lately. However if even the weakling Jamie was becoming stronger then him, then he would definitely need to start training some more in order to keep up. He got a bit surprised when Jamie and all the dogs had suddenly stopped as he took a short few extra steps to slow down and stop.

"The walk is done, bye Kota" as he gave the sad goodbye as he walked away having completed his mission. Kota wanted to shout it out as well as he raised his hand to wave, but his hot headed pride kept him from saying it as he just softly said, "bye Jamie..."

As Kota looked on he felt regret and deep sadness, however this was not a one-sided feeling as Jamie also felt bad for being so unfriendly towards Kota as the tension of the mission must have created a rift between them even greater then usual.
