Mission Details:

Megami had made her way out of the Hidden Leaf into the wilderness. The trip wouldn’t be too long and she didn’t mind going on these kind of missions. She hated the idea of being alone with no one to talk to, but she would have to deal with it. This mission was capable beyond capable of her skills. She considered it beneath her, but she needed to make money. The mission payout was as good as it was going to get. At least this mission allowed her to get out of the village. The village had a lot of great things to offer, but sometimes the fresh air helped you to relax. She didn’t get too often to relax so it was a good break.

Today hadn’t been too bad. The sky had been clear of rain or clouds most of the day. A few birds had passed through on her way. An owl started hooting as she had been walking on her path. It was a bit weird that the owl had been awake this time of day, but it didn’t bother her too much. The view really brought her to an understanding of how great the outdoors were. It did make her a bit eager to go on a mission with a higher risk as well. She wondered what it was like further past the village’s influence. All her life she had been on the inside of Konoha’s giant walls that she hadn’t gotten the chance to explore. The map she was given was also a bit helpful since she didn't know too much about this area. The map had the locations of the herbs that they needed which was extremely helpful. She didn't want to get lost in the forest. Her Byakkugan wasn't improved to the point were she would be able to find her way out, so this would definitely help her. Though, she wished that her Byakkugan could have greater range. She would definitely need to find a training partner to help her unlock the next level.

She knew that her options for exploration were currently limited. It was common place for a shinobi of her status to stay within the protection of the village. She wished that she was able to go on mission with her current squad. Unfortunately, she only met one other teammate outside of her sensei. They really hadn’t done much since they all met each other. It was only time that would afford her so much thought on things that wouldn’t be too relevant. She figured that their sensei would have something planned for them eventually. It was too early to actually make a final call on that. Megami would probably put in a request for a C-Rank mission later.

As she continued to walk and think to herself, she ended up in an area where lots of flowers had bloomed. There were different varieties of flowers some she knew from experience were harmful and the others worked together with medical supplies. She reached inside a carry bag that she had thrown over her shoulder. A list emerged from between her fingers on what she was supposed to grab. Megami sighed as she looked at the list and began wandering around trying to find the specific flowers that were on the list. She spent some time before she found the first one. It was a flower with white petals and yellow center. She carefully picked up as much of the cluster of flowers that she could while trying to include the root.

Megami then went on to the next flower on her list. There were only a couple more left to grab. She continued walking and finally found a cluster. Though to her dismay, a brown rabbit had started eating the cluster of flowers. She rushed in to try and save the flower causing the rabbit to disperse from the seen. There had been enough flowers leftover that she didn’t have to search for too much more. The young genin started looking for the last herb on her list. It was lavender. She wasn’t aware that lavender grew so close to the village. Lavender was used in many medicines and ointments to soothe people’s nerves. It didn’t take her long to find the purple plant. The plant gracefully rested next to a tree in a large cluster. She carefully grabbed a few and placed them in her bag with the other herbs she gathered.

The mission had been easy enough. It didn’t take long either. She noticed a lot of other good herbs out here, but it wasn’t on her list so she didn’t bother. The walk there was longer than the actual mission itself. After she completed her mission, she sat down for a moment and enjoyed the scenery. The sight of all of the flowers and the animals communicating had caused her to take the time and continue to enjoy the scenery. It was truly a sight to behold. The Land of Fire had some magnificent places of natural sights that spread throughout the land. She was glad that she could just look at everything that was going on around her. Megami wouldn’t take too much more time and would need to head back. She told herself that she would probably need to think the Hokage for allowing her to take the quest, but figured he would be too busy handling other business. She would just right a letter to the Hokage and hope he writes back. Though, she wondered how long it would take for him to respond.
