Sun volunteered for the mission for a couple of reasons: she was a medic, she wanted to see what a great mind was capable of doing when given resources. Even if the product wasn't anything useful to the village itself. It kind of pained her to know this for she had a hunch who might be behind all this. There was this one doctor at the hospital who worked only part time, but seemed to make more money than the most renowned doctors. And he always prescribed people some unapproved drugs. Everyone knew he had past as a pharmacist. Except no one suspected him to be playing a role in the drug cartel.
The second reason was more of Sun's ideology's fullfilment. She loved how the information about this storage and chemist came from a drug dealer who was still alive and now in jail. It was useless to just kill off criminals. They ate our food, they cheated our people and they were unloyal. Sun believed that they should be punished by working their life for the country. Be it subjects for medicinal experiments (which Sun would be ready to carry out herself) or just a sedated farmers who would never endanger another human. And because the drug dealer was already sitting in the jail, it only made sense if the chemist and other goons joined him. Sun would not allow herself to kill anyone at the storage. She was going to return them all to the village to be judged.
She decided to move out in an early morning - not everyone was a morning person. Sun wasn't either, but adrenaline can easily change that. And there was no better way than get adrenaline rush than going straight in at the enemies. The place was just like described by the dealer - it was an uncleaned place with huge dirty walls and just some windows. It had only one entrance which was guarded by two guards with swords. There was supposed to be two more inside or patrolling around the storage right now.
Sun didn't have time to wait for the other two to show up, she was going to take the two guards in her sight right now. She rushed in a plain sight and the two guards at first confused didn't know what to do, but as Sun jump-kicked one in the face, the other decided to actually get out his sword. "You gonna regret that!" he yelled as he tried to slice down Sun, who easily evaded his attacks. At the right moment, though, she stepped closer to the hostile man and touched his skin and used raiton chakra to render him unconscious. "Now what about you?" Sun wondered as she was watching the other man get back on his feet and ready his sword too. Except it was pure distraction for this man chose to cast a ninjutsu - he weaved signs for doton technique that would grab Sun's feet and disable her movement. Though this didn't really stop Sun's invasion, she placed her hands by her feet and let the kyoni do their job - they ate the all the sand covering Sun's feet and developed a cast of excrement around her left leg. "Taste this," she said as she kicked the man in the face with her left leg and smearing his face with excrements of kyoni. She was going to keep the cast - just in case.
As she moved in the storage, she found herself in some kind of lobby room that also had two guards in it. "Fuck, I thought they were fooling around," one of them said, obviously signalling that they had heard the ruckus outside. One of the guys were standing with his sword in hand, the other was actually sleeping on the sofa. He was woken up as the first guy spoke. Sun didn't want to do anything hasty this time for the room actually was very compact and she could find herself with no more tricks up her sleeve (and a sword up her throat). For about 2 minutes they circled around the room with no one actually attacking. Sun had time to observe the room carefully. There were 3 doors - one leading to toilets and two doors leading to some other rooms. One probably leading to staff room and the other to the actual storage with the chemist in it.
At the third minute of circling, Sun got tired and decided to run for the door that was actually right behind her. She didn't exactly break the eye contact for she made a third eye on her neck to see if the two would actually charge forward in unexpected speed and attempt to slice her down. They didn't, they actually got frustrated by Sun's action (and that third eye too probably). Behind the door was a huge room with industrial crates stacked in middle on wooden packets. There were tons of the stuff. Some kind of plants, Sun didn't recognize, were growing in small neat pots by the walls of the storage. Windows were placed in a way that exactly half of the plants were in sunlight at any given time of the day.
Sun didn't have much time to keep observing the room with her own two eyes, for the two guards were chasing her now with an obvious intent to attack. The third open eye on her neck was now facing the storage and could keep on looking around. In fact she had underestimated the distance between her and the attacks and one of them left a wide cut all over the Sun's chest. She chuckled:"Now you will see.." she said staring at the surprised faces of the men who had never seen a wound seal itself up this quickly. "Step aside, she won't be able to regenerate this," said one of the guards as he was weaving signs for a katon jutsu. A fireball shot out of his mouth and ended up with a direct impact on Sun, leaving her covered in smoke. The two guards already started to enjoy their victory by fist bumping. Little did they knew about the ways of Bulate... Sun was all well with not a inch of her skin reddened from the increased heat. "You see, gentlemen, you simply can't do a thing about me," she said with a smile on her face as she punched the lights out of the closest man - the one who had attempted to slice her in two. "Do you want to see a real ninjutsu?" she went closer to the other one, noticing her fingers itching - those were the kyoni ready to feed. Just by a mere touch, the man started shouting and grabbed his head in his hands and attempted to scratch it. Like attempting to scratch out something that was beneath the skin. "Don't bother, sweetie. Tell me where the chemist is and they will stop," Sun attempted to negotiate knowing that she did have the upper-hand in this situation. The storage guards probably had to defend against poor junkies who wanted to steal their dosage. They probably weren't even paid enough to be dealing with a Bulate. "T-there" the guy pointed to the other side of the room. Sun didn't see anything there, but the chemist might be hiding behind the crates of drugs. Thus she did relieve the man of pain by knocking him unconscious.
After going around all the crates, Sun did indeed notice a man she knew. It was the doctor from hospital after all. He was no shinobi and posed no threat to Sun. "This is stopping now, Frank" she called the man by his name. He looked scared, he never probably expected one of the co-workers to apprehend him. "You want to live, I suspect?" she asked and threw a senbon at the man, which barely missed his ear. "Well, I will let you live if you come with me of your own free will," she had a proposition for the man and casually threw another senbon that almost landed in his foot. It's not hard to guess that the man gave up and came with Sun. He agreed to answer all questions the officials might have. Sun also forced him to string up two of the guards and pull them all the way back to Suna, in order to be jailed. She was leaving no responsible man behind - they were all getting what was coming for them. No exceptions.
The mission was successful and a jounin was getting dispatched next week to capture another key criminal concerning the drug cartel. And Sun enjoyed hearing those words: capture. Sun even inquired if the jounin needed any help of a medical-nin for this mission, but her help was turned down. For two reasons: first being that the mission was going to be carried out in very stealthy-way and Sun was no good at that, second reason: everyone knew that Sun would do her best to keep the criminals alive and bring them back to the village. People disliked Sun for doing things the hard way.
