- Mission name: Drug Runner (Repeatable)
Mission rank: D
Objective: Capture the drug courier
Location: Sunagakure
Reward: 100 Ryo
Mission description: A drug dealer is employing a courier to deliver drugs to his customers. We have received news of his 3 stops today from an informant. You must capture the courier alive, preferably relatively unharmed (No permanent damage) so we can interrogate him and collect intell on the dealer himself.
Mission details: The courier is a civilian, but is very fast for a civilian, at D rank speed. He often delivers on a bicycle to further complicate matters. He may or may not even know he is delivering drugs. Either way, he is distrustful of law enforcement and will flee if he spots trouble or grows suspicious. The drugs he is carrying is up to the player.
Aiden would be in position at the Grand Bazaar, awaiting the target that he was supposed to capture. Apparently the courier is someone riding on a bicycle at a fast-paced speed, and is delivering drugs at three different locations. Outside of that general description and the three locations, Aiden had nothing else to really go on. He would be told about how the courier distrusts law enforcement of any kind, so even though he generally wears is on missions, he left his headband home this time around. He didn't really need it anyways, as from what he had heard the courier is but a civilian, someone that doesn't really have any fighting experience and whose skills begin and end at how fast he is, and the Genin was confident that if he ended up accidentally alerting the courier, he could catch up.
Looking around, Aiden would move from market stall to market stall, occasionally acting as though he would be looking at the items, whether it would be fruits, vegetables, jewelry, or some kind of junk, he wouldn't pay much attention to the items themselves, instead using this as a guise to actually keep an eye out for the courier from the corner of his eyes. Whenever he would walk to a new stall he would take those few short seconds to fully look around. The grand bazaar's main path is the shortest route between the first and second destinations, meaning that if the courier would be going anywhere at the speed he is reported to go, it would be here. Walking towards the next stall, which happened to be one that sells cooked meat, Aiden would take a gander at the meat being sold. Today must be his luck day, as one of the meats would be imported squid on a stick, a food he came to love during his time here. Searching his pockets, he would withdraw a couple ryo, giving it to the shopkeep as he would grab the stick, blowing on the food lightly before taking a bite out of it.
Looking back to the road, Aiden would be taken off guard as he would watch a brown-haired male wearing clothing that was in different shades of blue speed past, a grey sash flapping in the wind as he kept on pedaling his bicycle, showing no signs of slowing down. "Shit." Aiden would mutter to himself as he would, with much regret flowing through him, toss the partially-eaten squid on the ground, ignoring the shopkeep's commanding him to pick it up as the Genin would immediately begin running after the suspected courier on all fours. Being in Sunagakure has encouraged the male to not run on all fours as often as he used to, due to the ground generally being too hot for him to touch it with his hands, though old habits die hard, and as his hands would feel the unforgiving heat touch them for split seconds at a time as he sprinted on.
The chase would continue on with the bicyclist unknowingly racing against his pursuer, whom of which would be slowly but surely catching up with him. However, Aiden himself couldn't keep at a maximum amount of speed for long and, before he knew it, the ground he was gaining would soon be lost. Instead, he would opt for plan B, which is to get back up on two legs once more, forming the Tiger hand-sign and kneeding his Chakra. When he finished, he would stop, inhaling a large amount of air before firing out a bullet of water, which would quickly cover the ten meter distance the courier had between him and Aiden, hitting the back tire and making the male go out of control before crashing his bike, falling off of it and rolling on the ground, a meter away from the form of transportation.
Aiden himself would be running up to the bike and to the courier himself, where he would finally get a good look at his brown-haired target. He could see the fellow male wore what seemed to be a blue kimono of some sort, though he wore darker blue pants and a pair of sandals. His now scratched forearms and shins would be showing, and seemingly, an odd-looking object would peek out from underneath his grey sash. "Give me that." Aiden would say as he walked up to the male, grabbing him by his robe collar with his right hand and grabbing the odd package with his left, pulling it out and looking at it. Using his thumb's claw, he would scratch some of the paper off, revealing a clear box with a syringe within it. Looking back at the male, Aiden would pull him up, nearly dragging him back so he could turn him in and collect his pay.
