The walls always seemed so empty and hollow to the young girl, if she could even still call herself that. She thought often of her former life, missing her family who she was sure still grieved over her death. They couldn't know that she had come back as this...thing that wasn't even a shadow of her former self. She was an abomination, created by pain, destruction, and the black flames of Amaterasu. It wasn't her fault, she hadn't wanted to die, she had simply been out on a mission, and when she had come back from death's door she wasn't the same, and never would be. It killed her to still be so close to her family, the people whom she had tried to avoid since coming back,, and so she would leave her home village, and make haste towards the land that was known for its medics, the village of Iwagakure.

There were a couple of nice things about being in her current state. One of her favorite things was being able to turn off the sensation of touch. When she was alive being in Kiri would cause her to feel cold and wet all the time, the constant rain or mist sinking directly through your clothing and getting down to your bones, but since she had died she learned that she could disassociate herself from such feeling, and therefore often would make it so she couldn't feel the wetness, the cold, or the rain in general. It was a simple saving grace for the situation she had been presented, along perhaps with the fact that she would never age and would "live" forever. It was impossible for her to die technically, as she was already dead. She had experienced the release that is death, but then through some odd situation had been brought back from the dead in some cruel twist of fate. She wasn't upset anymore, not as much as she had been when the realization had originally set in as to what had happened.

It was an interesting feeling to hit the borders towards the village of Iwagakure, which was much warmer, dryer and rockier than she was used to. She hadn't rested on her journey for rest was completely worthless to her. There was no need for sleep when you were dead, as you had done more than enough of that during life. Her legs never grew tired, as they had no way to know that they were, muscle ache not happening with you were dead since pain was a thing for the living. She by all means shouldn't technically be moving, but once the dead move they are impossible to stop. She could feel the wetness drying off of her, feeling her flesh dry out quickly. It was an odd feeling, one that she simply hadn't felt in a long time. As she made her way closer to the village, she began to keep an eye out for the kind of person she had come to see.

Iwagakure was renowned for their medics, and that was something that she had known for a long time. Everyone in the shinobi world had heard of the medics of Iwagakure, and she wanted to see if one of them could help her with a personal issue she wanted taken care of. She couldn't imagine it would take long to run into one of these world renowned medics, but she was a little bit anxious to find one, as the sooner she could, the sooner she could feel a little bit more comfortable in her skin. The village gates were within her sights, and she wouldn't' stop until she had what she came for...
