1 Eradicate Deeze Smugglers (B-Rank Mission/Inv Only) Mon Apr 10, 2017 12:48 am
Burittsu
D-rank
Kicking his feet as he sat on the tree branch he felt at ease for once a day off with no random encounters or missions to do this was a good day indeed for him. Well he could only hope knowing his luck a messenger bird was on his way right now since he didn’t like to live in the village. But he did enjoy the beauty of nature way more than that of the busy streets behind the walls everything was simple out in the wilderness he had everything a person needed. The sky to give him a show at night as the stars shined brightly and the moon was there to shine and even brighter light on him. Or even the morning when the sky goes from black and full of stars to a dark blue color and then soon taken over by the bright pitch of orange tint oozing from the sun.
The animals kept him busy as he studied each one and their predators even the nocturnal beasts of the night had something they feared the snakes seemed to scurry off best when the owl came to out to play. It was amusing watching a creature sweep down plunging its claws into the body of the victim killing it swiftly and eating it there on the spot looking out to the horizon the sun was starting to set back down. Ready to go shed its warmth to the other villages and people waiting on the other side of the world so patiently waiting for the heat to be their greatest enjoyment. Thinking about it wouldn’t help anyone or anything he knew he had to go see the world and look at it with his own two eyes instead of listening to stories all day about how it is and the type of people that rest in the other villages.
That was his goal seeing the world for himself instead of being locked up in a village where the rules seem vague and strict he hardly knew anyone to have a decent conversation with or even train let alone eat with and enjoy each other’s company. In all honesty he knew he was alone no matter how many friends he made this time he had a chance to move on from the past and finally aim forward for the future that would surely make and be a difference in his life. In all his thinking he was correct like always he couldn’t ever enjoy a simple day in the village or probably in his whole life till he dies. Eventually he will find his freedom and peace when that day does come he’d most likely feel empty and bored due to the lack of stuff to do. Off in the distance as he watched the sun bathe the land with warmth and allowed nature to grow to officially become something of outstanding beauty.
“The peace is so wonde-”
And there it was his sentence cut short by the flying black creature once more heading towards his direction with a white attachement around it’s leg giving a sigh he only knew this meant another mission. But even if it wasn’t another mission probably a letter from another stranger wanting to meet up with him for some odd apparent reason the last stranger he met stabbed his arm. Even the past encounters themselves weren’t that pleasant but at least he never left with a scar but like the rest of his encounters he met someone new and knew that one day he would meet up with them once more either as allies or enemies each fighting for what they believe in and from their point of view they would only see a enemy.
Lifting his right arm up in the air as the bird came closer swooping down and landing on his arm giving him a chance to quickly swipe the white scroll from its possession and throw his arm in the air. Allowing the bird to catch air and fly off towards where ever its next resting zone was probably not too far in fact it was a forest a outpost was most likely used out and around the area for messenger birds after a long day of messaging. Opening up the tiny slip of paper that seemed to always contain a really impressive amount of writing he sometimes even wondered the person who has this type of writing skill must be getting paid more ryo than him especially for each piece written. He only focused back on the paper as his mind wandered off somewhere for a little bit he wondered if he ever would get a day off from training and missions just once in his life.
“Lets see..”
Reading the message it was nothing but the same mission one that grew on him but also allowed him to study each human being differently they all had one goal but individually the fear in their eyes told the story. Smugglers once more returned by now Burittsu should have gotten a medal for doing this mission in so many different times either by his lonesome or even with another partner that was paired up with him due to the orders from above. It all didn’t matter in the end they ran or began to beg for their life while the hands of Burittsu dripped with the blood of the victims. Either way people were going to die and the outcome would be same no matter the soul of the person they did decide to choose the path that was given to them no matter if it was to save a family member or their own personal greed.
Jumping off the branch falling lower into the tree line he swiftly landed on another tree branch that was farther below and quickly began to leap from branch to branch. With the determination in his eyes to simply get the mission started and ended quickly time was ticking if they were like the others by the time he found them they would already be in the forest. Ready to depart and heading off to wherever they would normally meet but he doubt under his watch the smugglers never made it through as for the other shinobi he couldn’t say the same for them. Thinking about it as he jumped from branch to branch by the time he even received his next promotion he would possibly have double digits in this mission alone. Well what could he say he did basically live out in the forest it was probably the best bet from higher-ups to use someone that is always out there taking in nature.
“The thrill of the hunt.. Such a rush.”
