Stepping out the door to his adopted family's home well before even the sun graced the estate, he felt weird today. The normal routine of chores and training was being forsaken for a new goal that came to him in his sleep: finding his actual parents, not just his relatives. He wasn't sure where to start looking, but after spending so much time in Konoha and not bumping into them already he was certain it wasn't here. His dreams only reassured that all he would need to do to find find them was get close, the parental heritage would make it self obvious to his view. In his most recent dream, the one that was already fading from his mind as time went progressed, he had been instilled with a sense of great distance and a lot of movement. Not very much to go on in the first place, and even shakier because it was just a dream, but a starting place was better than no starting place.

By the time he traveled from his home to the gates the sun had risen enough to begin warming his uncaring flesh. The traffic at the had only just begun to pick up with the day's business when he reached the range of the guard shack. As was his normal habit his head pivoted to looking directly at the closest ninja at his station, eyes "looking" at least semi close at him as well. The two he interacted with were familiar with him and their unease showed only slightly by their rush to process him through. His response to their question before they asked it was a simply "Looking for family outside." He had often given this answer to them in the past as the young ones would commonly wander off in the night looking for trouble outside the watchful gazes of the town's ninja. Luckily they bought it with out a second thought, or maybe to just move him along, Gi was never certain with these two, or a second look at him in all his gear which was clearly overkill to just find a couple of children.

Perhaps half an hour out of the gate he finally let his anxiety dissipate. Technically he wasn't allowed to go looking this far away, his rank restricted him in that manner, but he was counting on his unimportant, most people's distaste to interact with him, and his plausible cover story to buy him enough time to out distance anyone that might come to collect him. But none of that stopped him from reassuring himself that even if someone was dispatched for it was highly unlikely that they would use lethal methods. A few broken bones and thinking fuzzy was the most that he was liable to receive from this journey. Even still no one looked forward to broken bones, not even if one couldn't feel them.

Spending many hours walking by himself wore on him little, but the looks he received from the few travelers he met along the way were above the normal ones he received in the village. Normally once they saw his headband they would be a little perplexed by his eyes and his age, but ninja worked in strange ways. Outside the village his age and his eyes only heightened the reaction he received thanks to his headband, Seeing a ninja just walking by himself was common, a blind 12 year old many times more so! This gave him the room to travel without comment to any other travelers that inquired, simply shifting his pale eyes onto any farmer or merchant that asked him questions quickly silenced them. He got a good laugh after doing so to one inquisitive merchant at a tea stop, only to hear the man mutter something about demons after left.

With roughly a day or travel behind him, difficult to gauge without others to observe, he only then noticed that he was on the path to Suna. Thinking how aptly it fit his dreams with all the sand flying around and the large populous center only added to that further ,Gi climbed into a tree to sleep and wiggled till his muscles were no longer supporting his weight; No reason to make it that easy to find him after all.
