Dameon
D-rank
It had been nearly a year. A year since Dameon Shikyo of Kirigakure had been taken hostage by the group known as the Shikyo Four. Attempts had been made to rescue and save Dameon from an unknown fate. The Mizukage had fought valiantly despite Dameon wishing that she would let him go in the interests of protecting the civilians of the village. His own students had attempted to rescue him despite a massive gap in power. They had nearly been killed and would have been if Dameon had not resisted and fought back the Four of them in time for the Kumogakure ninja’s to arrive. Badly injured Dameon would seek assistance from the Kage of Kumogakure, a dear friend and once a sensei. Giving only a small amount of info that the Kage had possessed Dameon would head out to locate his childhood home in the mountains of Kaminari. Upon his arrival he had discovered that the village had been burned down and the innocent peaceful members of his clan butchered, including his own family. In a fit of rage Dameon let down his guard and was soon captured by the Shikyo Four after severely injuring Dai Shikyo.
Dameon was taken to the Four’s hideout within the mountain that overlooked the Shikyo village. The Four needed Dameon’s life force and chakra to awaken Zeta. Zeta was the original Shikyo and a legend who took all of his secrets to his grave, but before doing so embedded his life force into the chakra of his five children. However as four of them had died only the strongest remained. Since then Zeta’s life force could only be found in the strongest of Shikyo, the one who was the strongest of heart, body, and mind. Zeta currently resided within the body of Dameon. The Shikyo Four would need Dameon’s cooperation or his body to discover Zeta’s burial place and find his secrets to his power. Dameon had refused to assist. Dameon once captured would be tortured for three months as they waited for Dai to be healed from his injuries. Once healed Dameon would be connected with a machine that was built to drain the chakra and life energy from Dameon’s body while still keeping him alive. During this time the Shikyo Four would take turns monitoring Dameon to make sure he could not escape. His legs were broken and his chakra drained for what felt like an eternity.
The process of draining his life force would cause Dameon’s body to age at an accelerated rate but the process induced him with chemicals that would make the world around him appear to move slower than it actually was. This process would continue until it was less than a month from the anniversary of his initial capture. Dameon still resisted, waited, and planned. He planted seeds of doubt within the Four hoping to turn them against one another or make them more complacent with his treatment until his legs could heal and he could escape on his own. He still had a life to live and a Kage to serve and he would not let those he made oaths to down. After what felt like a decade he felt he finally had worked a way out of his restraints and he knew it was now or never and that if he could escape his window of opportunity was quickly closing. He only hoped that his body was up to the task that his mind had made up.
