Objective: Recover the stolen jewels for the wealthy family

Mission description: late last night a burglar stole a emerald jewel necklace and some other items from one of the wealthy families of the village, recover the stolen property and bring the culprit to justice.

Mission details: The was a robbery at the homes of one of the wealthiest families in the village, the trail is cold and it will be hard to find the thief, given only the picture of the stolen necklace you must find the it and the other stolen objects before the thief is able to pawn them to a fence. You will interrupt the haggling of the two men when you spot the necklace the fence will run away as soon as he sees you leaving the thief for you to deal with, you must not kill him, doing so will result in a failure. mission is repeatable due to a new thief always looking for a way to make money.

Wednesday night after submitting her reports, Shihai returns to her home for some rest after a tiring day. She made a few mistakes on the report and has to rewrite at the mission building and that took some time to finish. When she returns home, it was already pass the dinner time. She would have thought that someone would already cooked and she can just relax, enjoy the meal and take a hot smoothing bath before going to bed and resting for the night.

But when she returns to home, she found the house to be strangely empty and dark, there are dusts collecting in front of the door by the shoe stand. Walking into the empty home, it had almost looked like no one was living there.

Looking around in confusion, Shihai wonders where was everybody, it was so late and they should be home and back from their respective missions already.

But after a while of not finding anyone, Shihai gives up on her effort and walks to the dining room, searching the fridge for something that she can eat quickly and without the need to actually cook something, with what four or five missions running at the same day, she was way too tired to do anything else for the time being.

Checking the fridge she found some left over bento and grabbed that, pulling it out of the fridge was when she found a letter attached to the bento.

Reading it quickly, it was a note from her older brother Ryugi, his words came out from as a quick scrap, as if he was in a hurry to leave when he wrote it.

A quick read through the short note told her that both of her parents are being send off to an urgent and confidential long term missions to another village, and that she should be expected to not heard anything back from them for long term, and to maintain their hidden identities and to not screw up the missions for them, that she should also not trying to find or contact them.

In addition, Ryugi himself is also being send off on Anbu business and will not return for a few days and that she should be an adult and starting taking care of herself now. Legally speaking she was almost 16, and if she can fight and die for the village than she can also stay home alone. <-his words.

Shihai blinks at the note, where did that all came from. She was away for like less than 2 days and now this happened. Everybody is being send off to secret missions?! Whatever, can never understand what the high level Ninjas do stuff anyway, she will just go on with her teaching missions and having her happy go lucky ways.

Rolling her eyes, Shihai heated her bento box with the microwave, have a late dinner and turn in to bed early that day.

In the morning when she wakes up, she found a message bird perching on top of her window with a letter folded and tied to one of its legs, it was picking on the window trying to get her attention.

Slightly confused, Shihai opened the window and untie the letter, the bird fly away as soon as she got the letter, it didn't even wait for Shihai to give it some snack. Confused, Shihai skim through the letter, it bears the official Konoha symbol, and it was coming from the official mission buildings.

Apparently, for whatever reasons, Shihai should refrained from taking any missions that calls for interaction with the army for the time being, that means Drills and supply run missions are temporarily off the table. In consideration of that, there are some new missions that she could take. Skimming through the list, they all appeared to be located within Konoha, but she could never figure out what the higher ups are thinking and so long as the payout is good, she's happy with any mission.

Eyeing the recovering stolen jewel mission, Shihai puts on her clothes on went out to the location of the wealthy who had just been robbed last night.

Talking to some of the family members once she got there, apparently this was not the first time break in for this family, in fact, they think that a group was targeting this family and someone tries to break in once every few days for the last 2 weeks now, but they didn't get anything, stopped by the guards, until last night, and only got one necklace. The family thought that the thief might came back for the rest so they submitted their request this early morning.

Shihai nodded in understanding and told the family to go about their business as usual, have the guards in alert as usual as if nothing changed. And she perched to the roof, using silhouette Jutsu, she blend in with the shadow underneath a statue on the roof and watches the mansion from there.

As people coming and going throughout the day and nothing particularly stands out, and getting to night time Shihai activated her GKK burning eyes to watch for heat signatures. Around 4 am in the morning, she noticed two figures sneaked into the mansion, and Shihai dropped down from her position, following them silently.

Turning around the corner, the thieves seem to got themselves another necklace and some additional stuff. Shihai throw out the wire and snatching one of the thief by his leg, and pulled him towards her. The other thief saw what was going on and starting to run outside towards the fence.

Not taking her eyes off the thief, Shihai runs lighting restrain against him, bringing him down. The lighting sparkles caught the attention of the nearby village guard on patrol and they were coming over. Shihai told the thief that more reinforcement will come and that he should tell her where their hide out is and where the other stolen jewels are before anyone get hurts. The thief spill out the information super easily, saying that he was only trying to provide for his family, he give out the identify of the other thief, along with the hide out information. Apparently last night's necklace hasn't been pawned yet. Shihai nodded and handed the thief and the rest over to the village guards and return back to the village to submit her report, it was early morning on Thursday by then.
