Clan History: The Nine tailed beast. a Creature of legend and mass destruction. A great many years ago, a large amount of chakra was siphoned from the beast against it's will. This chakra was placed inside of a yet unborn child. This child was the first Kitsuchi Clan member.

The child due to it's very early exposure to the ninetails chakra, developed Fox like features, including a tail and fox ears, as well as the inherent ability to sense and manipulate the nature chakra around her. She was known as Suchi, the first one. Suchi was quickly outcast from the clan from which she had been born to, and forced to live on her own. She was a mischievous and tricky child, and most of legends akin her to a real fox. In the early years of her life, she grew her tails, as she grew in her knowledge and power, quickly making her mark on the world.

It wasn't long until she birthed children, and those children too grew in her image. And thus, the clan of the Kitsuchi was born. And through the ages, they not only survived but thrived. Eventually it came to pass that they took root and made a compound in what now stands as Kirigakure. To which all Kitsuchi clan members are now born. And to this date, there have only been 2 Kitsuchi clan members to achieve Ninetails. The first being Suchi herself, and the second being the prideful and deceitful, Koran. Although, most clan records are lost on him, and most do not dare speak his name or speak of his existence, as it is widely known that he, and he alone, nearly destroyed the Kitsuchi.

Kekkei Genkai Description: The Kitsuchi clan is home to the shinobi world's fox people. Their KKg is primarily their Nine tails. Clan members are born with a singular train, and then grow more tails via nature chakra. Tails are commonly associated with power, as such the more tails one has, the more powerful one is seen.

Clan members start out with Senjutsu. as a third spec.

Foxfire refers to the Katon abilities of the clan's members, although it typically takes a more mystical-esq feel, as such it can be any color, sometimes even multi-colored (although not clear) and can take forms/shapes not usually seen with fire.

• 1 Tail: This is the default tail that all clan members start out with. This tail has no abilities or functions.
  
  
  
• 2-3 Tails:
  With these tails the clan member gains a +1 to one stat of their choice, per each of these 2 tails grown, that cannot be changed, and must be listed in the jutsu list.
  It takes 1k words and ryo, to grow each tail, and can be grown as a genin.
  
  
  
• 4-5 Tails: With theses tails, Kitsuchi members also gain the ability to use any katon technique with their tail(s), and if done so do not require hand signs. This ability is gained when the fourth tail grows, and is only removed when the removing the fourth tail or lower.
  
  Requires 2k words and 1k ryo to grow each tail, can only be grow starting at C-rank.
  
  
  
• 6-7 Tails: With these tails, the clan member's cellular functions have been increased, and as such they gain 15 chakra for growing their 6th tail, and then another 15 once they grow their 7th tail. If these tails are cut off they lose the chakra gained.
  
  requires 5k words and 2k ryo to grow each tail, can only be grown starting at B-rank.
  
  
  
• 8 Tails:-5 chakra for all Senjutsu techniques.
  
  Requires 10k words and 4k ryo to grow this tail, can only be grown starting at A-rank.
  
  
  
• 9 Tails: The final tail the user can grow, Members of the clan who acquire the ninth tial are herald as gods among their people, With this form clan member's tail's usually change color, as well as have markings tattoo'd on their body.
  
  Unlocks the clan's ultimate ability, Tsuki no chi.
  
  Requires 20k words, and 10k ryo to grow this tail, Can only be grown starting at S-rank.
  

Drawbacks:

• Clan members being naturally more Chakra oriented creatures, have naturally weaker basic attacks. As such all of their basic attacks act as one rank lower.
  
  
  
• Members being similar and/or almost indistinguishable from mythical creatures, are naturally weaker to Fuinjutsu based techniques, and receive a +1 to damage from them.
  
  
  
• As members have foxfire naturally coursing through them and as such they naturally receive a +1 to all suiton techniques.
  
  
  
• Clan members must take Genjutsu, and Katon as their starting Specialization, and element respectively.
  
  
  
• Clan members can only have their starting three specs, and they all start out at D-rank.
  
  
  
• Clan members receive a 100% increase in word count for all training excluding the tails.
  
  
  
• If a clan member's tail is cut off, they must regrow that tail with the training and ryo cost. In addition if all of a clan member's tail's are cut off they die. This only counts if the tail is completely and totally cut off. If it is left half attached, or only cut in half, it can be healed and restored normally.
  
  
  
• Clan members MUST have frail and it cannot be balanced with a positive, and start out with only 120 chakra (counting the senjutsu increase)
  

Clan members must achieve a certain tail number before they can rank up.
D-rank -> C-rank must have 3 tails
C-rank -> B-rank must have 5 tails
B-rank -> A-rank must have 7 tails
A-rank -> S-rank must have 8 tails

If a genin partakes in the chunin exams without the required number of tails, and receives a free rank up, they are not to rank up until they have reached the required number of tails. This goes for all free rank ups.

With these tails, the clan member's cellular functions have been increased, and as such they not only gain 15 chakra per tail grown." - Uhhh, no, not per tail grown, you're not getting 135 chakra at max level. Also, you seemed to have just removed something here and not changed the prior sentence.

9th Tail:
May wanna say what that ability is here. Just for clarity.

Drawbacks:

While not asking you to add more, i would like you to augment some of your drawbacks to be a tad more severe. Maybe a weakness to fuuinjutsu, as they're kinda mystical and would likely be weak to taoism. And maybe water? Your tails give you a LOT of buffs and im just not seeing things, (aside from chakra reduction.) that really begins to compare to their buffs. Which there are a few of, but they seem to be in congruent theme.

Up to you, just trying to help.

You need to go through each of these tails and make it clear whether each tail gives you its own buff. Ie. tails 2-3 EACH give you +1 tier. Or whether it is during the phases of having 2-3 tails you get +1 tier. So, for jutsu which each give you a buff, Ie your chakra increase tails, ensure it says for each tail at that level. And otherwise, ensure you specify that, that is not the case.

Whats the clans' ultimate ability? Specify here please.

Also, may you please put all non tail related buffs above the tails, so not to confuse people.

Drawbacks
As a chakra superiority clan, i would like one of their drawbacks to be that all physical / melee attacks (basic attacks and techniques) hit at -1 rank of damage. You have a lot of buffs, and i think this will balance most of them

Also as for fuuinjutsu, you mean to say that fuinjutsu hits them as if it is one rank higher. and mention they are weak to it.

Okay so this clan is getting pulled and needs a revamp. If the owner of this clan sees this, know that its being pulled because of the connection to canon biju with is not allowed on site. With the clan updates its due for revamp anyway. If you wish to post a revamp, you should post a new thread with the new clan template and have it be modded. It may not start with jutsu.
