“Good morning folks! It's five in the morning here in Konoha and the weather is looking rather nice out there!---” Smash went the alarm clock as Amaya's hand flew out in the darkness. Her aim had been to put a stop to the sudden noise that had jolted her out of a very nice bit of sleep but in her gusto not only had she stopped the alarm from going off but she had also caused her alarm clock to smash on the floor into multiple tiny pieces. Great, that was just one more thing she would have to do today: replace it. She should know better, of course, considering how many she had broken in the past, but it was a knee jerk reaction each and every time it went off. So, it was whatever, and it would stay whatever.
With Amaya's eyes still closed she heard movement on the far side of the room: Akai was waking up not because of the alarm clock going off but because of the smashing of the alarm clock on the floor. Akai had an interesting ability to drown out regular speech or noise of that caliber and yet still respond to something out of the ordinary. Amaya smashing her alarm clock against the floor? Not one hundred percent ordinary – especially because half the time she simply blew the thing up into millions of tiny little pieces.
Akai yawned, stood up, and stretched with a wolf-like groan before walking over to Amaya who had yet to move. Akai grabbed a hold of her blanket with her left hand and started to back up with the obvious intention of pulling the covers off of the female. Amaya grabbed hold as soon as she felt her legs get chilled and tugged back. Of course, she was far too sleepy for this and with the way she was laying had no leverage against the other, and so after a brief several seconds of this tugging Akai won and Amaya was completely uncovered.
“Meh!” Amaya rolled onto her side, curling herself up into a ball and tucking her legs up underneath of her night shirt against the chill in the room. Really it was her fault: she liked to have her room cold so she could sleep comfortably with a blanket on. It was... heavenly? Yes, heavenly worked well. Of course that gave Akai an advantage over her when she wasn't fast enough for her liking with getting out of bed.
When Akai realized that Amaya still wasn't motivated to get up she jumped onto the bed, moved herself between Amaya and the wall, and then began to push her towards the edge of the bed with her much larger form. Amaya's eyes flew open, she turned over suddenly, and grabbed hold of the female around her upper torso. A moment later they both hit the floor, rolling around and play wrestling with each other. “You're just a big bully, ya know that?!”, Amaya asked in a playful voice before laughing. She was up now, so Akai had won, but she wasn't going to admit it.
The pair wrestled around for several more moments before a growling of both of their stomachs caused them both to stop. “Hm.. I need a shower, but I think that can wait until after breakfast.”, Amaya commented as she reached over and ruffled the already messy hair on the top of Akai's head. The other female jumped to her feet and nudged the bedroom door open before walking towards the kitchen: she was obviously all on board with that plan.
