Having not long arrived back in the city, Ryota had reasonably concluded the first step forward in any direction was to try and get some more experience under his belt. With a contract tucked away in his father's robe now fastened about him, confidence was building again. Logically this would help him also adjust to his phobias and psychological issue centric around travelling.
As much as the gigantism inflicted environment had been impressive it certainly wasn't home. Pushing his hair back from irritation a sigh exuded from the strained traveller as black flecks hung loosely in the air. Ah, as strong as his resolve was this running back and forth up and down a mountain was hardly easy on his body. Steps would have to be taken to somehow support this insidious fatigue creeping up on his life. Improvement of cardio was probably a decent way.
Streets wound all about him with as much complexity as a foreign city could offer, already his eyes felt tired as the midday sun beat down upon his brow and yet there was plenty to be done. Breaching the library's threshold, the expansive bookshelves spanned quite a spectacular distance for simple reading material. Taking a cleansing breath as he tried to visualise the task before him, Ryota left the door ajar and stepped over to the counter
"Excuse me, Miss?" Enquired the ninja as politely as possible, trying to emulate the behaviour of the girl he'd come across earlier in the same day. His face was somewhat flat, a faint smile lingering as part of this effort with his hands behind him, obscured by the gentle fluttering of his father's coat. As the grey haired old one shifted her attention towards him, Ryota seemed to be ignored for a moment in favour of her staring at those pearl buttons in the dim light of the library. Well, er, alright then? He supposed even the elderly had tastes for near pointless valuables in life. As she turned her gaze up to his face with a warm smile, she simply waved to the library and pushed forwards a plan. Wonderful.
"E-er, thank you, Miss." Replied Ryota, unsure of how to react. Was she mute? Bowing respectfully, Ryota turned on his heel to face the cluster of shelves. Scanning over the plan, he guided correspondence with a finger to figure out correct shelves and relevant sections. After having spent time to properly visualise where everything needed to be he glanced back over his shoulder at a growing pile of returned back. Rolling his shoulders, the black haired boy supposed it was roughly time to get things done.
Hauling the books he quickly and efficiently darted from section to section, placing books as expertly and carefully in place as pace allowed, wielding a dust-cloth like a weapon of war against foul germs to decontaminate such precious parts of the world. When it came down to it, books were an integral part of life for them all. Guiding the future to avoid mistakes of the past, Ryota in particular had found plenty of solace in books from moments of stress and burdening. They made a welcome change from the odourless sheets of study paper in his past. They opened realms of fantasy to children and adults alike, offering valuable insights and more. He'd have to check out some of these books some time, he never had been too familiar with Kumogakure history.
Before long, the effort was concluded, Ryota striding on to conclude his mission, the smile of thanks from the strange old lady validating the effort.
