The young Konoha genin had his eyes wide open in a trance.  The differences between Kumogakure and Konohagakure were palpable. Koonta knew that Kumo was going to be much busier than it usually is because of the additional traffic that the Chunin Exams brought.  He stood on the side of the street to take another look around.  He wondered how much money Kumo was gaining by hosting the Chunin Exams.  In fact, how did Kumo even get chosen? The Kimura wanted to know about the politics and economics behind the Chunin Exams.  A strange thought coming from a shinobi and a twelve year old.  A flyer blowing in the breeze smacked his face and planted itself there.  The hands of the little genin grabbed it to take a better look at it.  He chuckled to himself, he thought these sorts of things only happened in books and plays.  Apparently, his life was also one big story but with no audience.   The flyer had big lettering exposing the grand opening of a casino.  It had been opened for a few days but the young traveller concluded that he would check it out.  He figured he would not be old enough to place bets so he would just see it as a trademark location within Kumo.

Luckily, the Casino was just down the street from the location that Koonta was.  The Kimura made his way through the streets of Kumogakure following his map of the village.  The streets of Kumogakure seemed to be much more difficult to navigate than the streets in Konoha.  He wondered if that was becomes he knew Konoha like the back of his hand, or maybe just the amount of people clogging the streets could have also been a factor.  The genin looked upwards and hopped onto the rooftops.  He was hoping that he would not get in trouble or stopped by Kumo officials for being suspicious; he figured that security would be very tight with all these free roaming shinobi.  Jumping from rooftops was really freeing, all the open space made him feel at ease.  The crunch beneath his feet from the mountain rock sounded so good to him.  All the small things made Kumo seem like a good place to live.  In fact, it had made Koonta ponder it.

It had not been long before the shinobi made it to the casino rooftop.  The genin leapt down from the rooftop and landed on his feet with his knees bent.  As he was standing up, he was trampled to the ground.  The collision hurt, not anywhere in particular but simply all over.  The running shinobi was also tripped up, dropped some ryo and continued to run off.  A second later someone came bursting out of the casino, yelling and shouting how someone stole his ryo.  The disorientated shinobi began to pursue the presumed thief who jumped back onto to the rooftops.  He wondered if anyone else would join to subdue the criminal. Regardless, the genin treated this like a foe with his senses on high alert.  Koonta was also partially upset that he was disrespected in front of many people.  The young child was still a bit impulsive.

Another long night. Yuko yawned like a small bear and cracked the bones in her body with a satisfying pop. She had been working as escorts and servants or whatever the client needed for the past while with breaks far and few in between. She practically lived like a vampire now, active in the dead of night and asleep by day. Thankfully she was used to a similar sleeping schedule from her years of service so she didn't need more than five or so hours to be fully rested though it wouldn't stop her from taking more. Becoming a kiri nin certainly caused her to live a more lax lifestyle than she was used to. Not that she was disappointed however she would like a little more action every now and then. A hand tapped her shoulder to see it was one of the guards who worked at the casino.

He grunted at her though it was hardly hostile. After frequenting the establishment more often than they would normally see, they had begun to get used to her presence, some even being friendly while others tolerate her but most still felt her age was a bit of an issue since they still couldn't come to terms that she was nineteen years of age and not a preteen like they normally assumed. She could only hope she was a late bloomer like her lord said and wouldn't be stuck like this forever. Anyway the man bent his head down so they were sort of meeting eye to eye (though the man was still a head or two taller than herself) and ruffled her hair as he spoke with his grizzly like voice that resonated in the hair. He told her about some shady characters he had seen around the casino lately and to be careful. She shrugged and said that they were relatively safe since the village beefed up their security ever since the late kage and even more so now because of the ever so important chuunin exams. The man grumbled as he consented and asked her to keep an eye out for him since he could admit he was a bit slow at times wheres Yuko sprang up like a deer every once in while when the situation called for it. Nodding in acceptance, the small pint sized osada had no problem with this favor. She needed to do so anyways and the less enemies she had the better, especially in foreign villages with uptight councils such as this one.

The two saw their shifts were ending and the guard left to the locker room to change, thus the two parted ways. Heading down several elaborate decorated corridors she made it to the front hall and decided there was no harm in watching for a bit. She stopped at a bar and order a spanish coffee with cinnamon. Not a traditional take on the drink but she enjoyed it nonetheless. Even at this time of day the casino was still brimming with life as if the sun never gleamed passed its shimmering glass windows fit for a palace. However the only difference between now and the usual night crowd was it was an older demographic from middle aged to senior citizens. The house made a lot of money from them during the day since 'young people' preferred to go out and live their days at the spa, markets, resorts, or heck even training for those in samurai and shinobi careers but they did wish they'd drink more than coffee and the occasional beer or what not. But it was to be expected, they were the elderly.

Speaking of the them, a middle aged man banged his fist against a machine in a cheer as he just won a nice bit of chips. Not wanting to see his luck turn to wear, he got up with his bucket and proceeded to change it for good ole ryo. Seeing him she remembered she too had other plans and couldn't or rather she shouldn't stay around for too long. Finishing the mug she paid the bartender and headed out the door but someone pushed the two away from the door and a man cried out. A thief already? Was this what the man warned her about. She turned sharply to the victim and assured him he would get his money back before she hightailed it out of the casino determined to catch the thief. But in her peripheral vision she saw another jump to the rooftops. . .was he after the same man? She connected the two energies and nodded seeing as she was right. Calling out to the boy she armed herself with her shuriken "Hey you take the left and I'll take the right" After doing so the thief walled jumped between two building flying through balcony in a narrow alley way residential area. She chased after him on the right side. . .

A voice from behind him directed him to take the left route, which he proceeded to do. If it was up to him, he would have enjoyed the challenge of doing this solo. The voice sounded like it was a female as she cracked orders. The Konoha genin was not sure how he felt about taking orders from a stranger but he knew that he should for the sake of the mission. Spinning his head around, he got a glance to whom the voice came from as she soared onto the rooftops. She like all the other shinobi he saw was pretty and short. A wonderful combination, especially for the short stack Kumo shinobi. The thief had failed to make a proper escape and was currently being tracked down by two genin shinobi. Koonta felt like he did not need to shout for the thief to stop. He was not going to and Koonta should not need to tell the thief to stop, which meant the thief was open for season. Koonta was not sure of Kumogakure law but he was certain that stealing was illegal, hopefully there were good Samaritan laws that could protect Koonta from his actions. He knew that a Konoha shinobi attacking a Kumo shinobi in Kumogakure did not sound good, especially when the Konoha nin was tagged with a Kiri nin.

The boy lifted his right hand and pointed his index and middle finger towards him. A pulse of electricity shot out of his fingers without the need of weaving handseals. It was difficult to run and aim properly so the first shot barely missed. Caution was required when using this jutsu inside a residential area but these bullets could go flying into a citizen, or damage property. There was a little black mark on the balcony depicting where the bullet hit; hopefully it could just be rubbed off. The frustrated Konohagakure shinobi wondered why everyone left pots and plants on their balcony, objects that could easily be destroyed by his jutsu. The shinobi stopped running and crouched so he could get better stability, which led to better aim and precision. His eyes focused in on the target that was simply running away without actively trying to dodge or evade. This time, two bolts of lightning sparked out of his fingers. The first one hit his left butt cheek causing him to trip, the second one pierced into the back of his right shoulder. The hit of the attack caused him to stumble and crash into the balcony wall. There must have been a strong stinging sensation in his butt cheek, Koonta’s eyes widened as he realized his finger caused pain in such an area.

The thief was recovering in a balcony that was large enough to fit two or three people, however it was very narrow. A grin appeared as Koonta watched the jutsu hit the thief, the way he smacked against the inside wall of the balcony was also funny but it did not break his concentration. The genin started to run up to the thief with his fingers still in the shape of a gun. However, the thief was quick to get up with a kunai in his hand preparing to fight back. The boy rolled his eyes because fighting back would be futile. His eyes lurked over to his newly found partner. ' A Kiri nin? ' He thought as he saw her headband flying through the sky. He had never met a shinobi of Kirigakure, it turned out that Kumo had truly become a melting pot of all sorts of shinobi. Hopefully, the Kirigakure shinobi would be able to hold off the thief until he could arrive, it would only take him a few more seconds but seconds were a long time in a battle, even one as weak as this. His eyes observed the Kirigakure shinobi to see what she was capable of, to see what the future of Kirigakure could be. He wanted to be amazed.

"Hey don't hit everything besides the thief!" If she didn't want to catch the theif she would've facepalmed herself as she noted that he would need to send an apology letter later to the person whose property he just destroyed but she couldn't fault him since he managed to hit him with his next couple of shots right to his bum making Yuko almost let out a small laugh, almost 'Well I did want him to stop the guy but that was definitely a bit unorthodox for a konoha shinobi' Ah it's not matter where he is from as long as he wasn't useless. Breathing deeply Yuko raises their hand to their mouth, giving them the appearance of playing a trumpet, as she spews a jet of water from her mouth with power equivalent to an industrial fire hose. The attack caught the thief off guard as she launched it not a moment too soon after the konoha shinobi's attack thus he was pinned to the wall with a great force getting drenched. Simultaneously Yuko activated her substitution jutsu, tossing her shuriken infused with chakra to the balcony where the two were and transported, switching out with the shuriken in flight  once the water trumpet jutsu was finished. In a sudden puff of smoke she appeared between the two of them and launched an aerial kick with left foot after she twisted her torso a bit to the man's chest. In his stupor he couldn't dodge the attacked and fell to the ground in pain receiving a good amount of bruising on his torso. Yuko then flipped backward, keeping her right foot extended to the back and used it to support herself as she bounced forward grabbing the man as she bent backwards and suplexed him headfirst into the ground behind her only a few feet from koonta before she let go. The repeated attacks the man felt from the two genin was enough to make him shut down and pass out with her last attack. Dusting herself off she turned to the konoha shinobi and bowed to him "Thank you for working with me to catch this man...?" She let the sentence hang as she asked for his name but nodded once he told her "Nice to meet you. My name is Millefiore Yuko" She heard a groaned escape from the man's lip and she quickly kicked him in the head "Seems like our little rat is not completely out yet. We should get going to the local police shall we?"

OCC: I believe the mission is over now so you can just tie the man up, add another hit to make sure he stays down and shushin the three of them away to collect our rewards and have the thief locked up. I'll take this as my leave.
