Koonta
D-rank
The young Konoha genin had his eyes wide open in a trance. The differences between Kumogakure and Konohagakure were palpable. Koonta knew that Kumo was going to be much busier than it usually is because of the additional traffic that the Chunin Exams brought. He stood on the side of the street to take another look around. He wondered how much money Kumo was gaining by hosting the Chunin Exams. In fact, how did Kumo even get chosen? The Kimura wanted to know about the politics and economics behind the Chunin Exams. A strange thought coming from a shinobi and a twelve year old. A flyer blowing in the breeze smacked his face and planted itself there. The hands of the little genin grabbed it to take a better look at it. He chuckled to himself, he thought these sorts of things only happened in books and plays. Apparently, his life was also one big story but with no audience. The flyer had big lettering exposing the grand opening of a casino. It had been opened for a few days but the young traveller concluded that he would check it out. He figured he would not be old enough to place bets so he would just see it as a trademark location within Kumo.
Luckily, the Casino was just down the street from the location that Koonta was. The Kimura made his way through the streets of Kumogakure following his map of the village. The streets of Kumogakure seemed to be much more difficult to navigate than the streets in Konoha. He wondered if that was becomes he knew Konoha like the back of his hand, or maybe just the amount of people clogging the streets could have also been a factor. The genin looked upwards and hopped onto the rooftops. He was hoping that he would not get in trouble or stopped by Kumo officials for being suspicious; he figured that security would be very tight with all these free roaming shinobi. Jumping from rooftops was really freeing, all the open space made him feel at ease. The crunch beneath his feet from the mountain rock sounded so good to him. All the small things made Kumo seem like a good place to live. In fact, it had made Koonta ponder it.
It had not been long before the shinobi made it to the casino rooftop. The genin leapt down from the rooftop and landed on his feet with his knees bent. As he was standing up, he was trampled to the ground. The collision hurt, not anywhere in particular but simply all over. The running shinobi was also tripped up, dropped some ryo and continued to run off. A second later someone came bursting out of the casino, yelling and shouting how someone stole his ryo. The disorientated shinobi began to pursue the presumed thief who jumped back onto to the rooftops. He wondered if anyone else would join to subdue the criminal. Regardless, the genin treated this like a foe with his senses on high alert. Koonta was also partially upset that he was disrespected in front of many people. The young child was still a bit impulsive.
