Dameon
D-rank
Dameon woke up and stared at the ceiling to his large empty room. Sure he could afford just about whatever the hell he wanted and the large mansion like house was a hell of a lot more then he needed, but it was given to him so he didn’t complain. He even had a damn training room in the basement and a few guest bedrooms. He could run his own dojo out of the house if he wanted to. That would be silly though because he barely had any time to teach as it was let alone train a bunch of people, besides the Mizukage would get pissed off at him if he kept accidentally killing students, which would be easier to do if he had more students. Dameon rolled out of bed and yawned as he made his way to the bathroom. He would exit the bathroom minutes later and begin to throw on his casual clothes. He wasn’t worried about getting injured from a couple of genin and his armor was only for situations he felt like he needed it. It seemed like these days he was training all the hot recruits that the Mizukage used to train, while the lesser ones were being trained by special jounin, even chuunin. There was a huge rank gap from Chuunin to Jounin as it was and in mist right now it was leaps and bounds of near impossibility with how high the expectations had increased following the war where hundreds of jounin had died.
Dameon walked down the stairs and out the door not even bothering to lock it. He had nothing of value in the house he couldn’t simply replace for free. Besides it’s not like the people of the village, even potential criminals wanted to break into the house of a Sannin, Anbu Captain, and a Seven swordsman. It was still only five in the morning, the sun still a couple hours away from rising. Dameon started walking the all too familiar route to his old training grounds. It was a place where he used to train alone away from the eyes of others. The same others who judged him for being from another village. Which reminded him that he couldn’t let Yunah know of his origins still, her life basically depended on it. Which also meant he couldn’t say his name to Maigo or at least not in front of the younger Shikyo. He had finally reached the line of trees he had been looking for and walked north along them for about a mile before he came across the stone in the shape of a large sharks tooth. He then cut right following the direction of the rocks edge through the trees. The trees were compact enough that they completely blocked view and about fifty meters through it all was a large clearing. The large clearing had a few training dummies set up on the edges. It had a stream running through the middle of it and on one end of the stream it continued to flow through the trees where the clearing ended, on the other end was a waterfall a good ten meters high. There was also a wooden bridge in the middle of the stream that Dameon had built himself.
“Penpen!” Dameon shouted as he looked around for his pet. He didn’t have to look far though because there he was sleeping on the bridge and had just woken up when Dameon had called for him. He stretched and rubbed his eyes before looking up and noticing Dameon to which he waddled to. Penpen was a warm water penguin he had taken care of ever since he had come to the village. He had initially found this training ground by trying to find a safe place for him to be and walk around. If there was ever a sign that Dameon had a heart it was Penpen. ”Listen bud I have some of my own students coming. I am going to need you to help me keep an eye on them. They are a little dense. I need you to make sure they are physically able to continue a fight or training so they don’t die. You are now the medic,” Dameon said to the large intelligent penguin who responded by saluting him with one of his wings. He only hoped his students would be on time, if they didn’t show up on time he would simply turn them around and disband them from being ninja within the village. Punctuation was a huge important factor in being a ninja and if they couldn’t do that they were not responsible enough to become stronger ninja.
Dameon Sat down on the bridge to wait for his students and closed his eyes meditating a bit. Penpen would do the same resting against Dameon’s back and out of eye sight from where his students would be approaching from. He would be able to sense his students coming so he just started counting down the minutes till they arrived. Things were so much different here now that he had become so much stronger. He used to remember endlessly hitting the dummies with bokkens to perfect his technique. He remembered everything before the war, how he spent weeks in this training thread spilling his own blood to become stronger. Even during the war he was still training, in fact it was that way that he met Sanosuke who he assumed was technically his sensei even though he only trained him like once or twice. The biggest thing he could credit Sanosuke with was that he finally realized just how hard he had to train to become stronger or as strong as him. Now the man was the current Raikage. He suspected he would have to go there and talk to him sooner or later with the Shikyo Four all around and his old village being to the far north of lightning country. That would be an interesting reunion. After all he hadn’t seen his sensei since they both learned he had a slight taste for killing.
