Dameon woke up and stared at the ceiling to his large empty room. Sure he could afford just about whatever the hell he wanted and the large mansion like house was a hell of a lot more then he needed, but it was given to him so he didn’t complain. He even had a damn training room in the basement and a few guest bedrooms. He could run his own dojo out of the house if he wanted to. That would be silly though because he barely had any time to teach as it was let alone train a bunch of people, besides the Mizukage would get pissed off at him if he kept accidentally killing students, which would be easier to do if he had more students. Dameon rolled out of bed and yawned as he made his way to the bathroom. He would exit the bathroom minutes later and begin to throw on his casual clothes. He wasn’t worried about getting injured from a couple of genin and his armor was only for situations he felt like he needed it. It seemed like these days he was training all the hot recruits that the Mizukage used to train, while the lesser ones were being trained by special jounin, even chuunin. There was a huge rank gap from Chuunin to Jounin as it was and in mist right now it was leaps and bounds of near impossibility with how high the expectations had increased following the war where hundreds of jounin had died.

Dameon walked down the stairs and out the door not even bothering to lock it. He had nothing of value in the house he couldn’t simply replace for free. Besides it’s not like the people of the village, even potential criminals wanted to break into the house of a Sannin, Anbu Captain, and a Seven swordsman. It was still only five in the morning, the sun still a couple hours away from rising. Dameon started walking the all too familiar route to his old training grounds. It was a place where he used to train alone away from the eyes of others. The same others who judged him for being from another village. Which reminded him that he couldn’t let Yunah know of his origins still, her life basically depended on it. Which also meant he couldn’t say his name to Maigo or at least not in front of the younger Shikyo. He had finally reached the line of trees he had been looking for and walked north along them for about a mile before he came across the stone in the shape of a large sharks tooth. He then cut right following the direction of the rocks edge through the trees. The trees were compact enough that they completely blocked view and about fifty meters through it all was a large clearing. The large clearing had a few training dummies set up on the edges. It had a stream running through the middle of it and on one end of the stream it continued to flow through the trees where the clearing ended, on the other end was a waterfall a good ten meters high. There was also a wooden bridge in the middle of the stream that Dameon had built himself.

“Penpen!” Dameon shouted as he looked around for his pet. He didn’t have to look far though because there he was sleeping on the bridge and had just woken up when Dameon had called for him. He stretched and rubbed his eyes before looking up and noticing Dameon to which he waddled to. Penpen was a warm water penguin he had taken care of ever since he had come to the village. He had initially found this training ground by trying to find a safe place for him to be and walk around. If there was ever a sign that Dameon had a heart it was Penpen. ”Listen bud I have some of my own students coming. I am going to need you to help me keep an eye on them. They are a little dense. I need you to make sure they are physically able to continue a fight or training so they don’t die. You are now the medic,” Dameon said to the large intelligent penguin who responded by saluting him with one of his wings. He only hoped his students would be on time, if they didn’t show up on time he would simply turn them around and disband them from being ninja within the village. Punctuation was a huge important factor in being a ninja and if they couldn’t do that they were not responsible enough to become stronger ninja.

Dameon Sat down on the bridge to wait for his students and closed his eyes meditating a bit. Penpen would do the same resting against Dameon’s back and out of eye sight from where his students would be approaching from. He would be able to sense his students coming so he just started counting down the minutes till they arrived. Things were so much different here now that he had become so much stronger. He used to remember endlessly hitting the dummies with bokkens to perfect his technique. He remembered everything before the war, how he spent weeks in this training thread spilling his own blood to become stronger. Even during the war he was still training, in fact it was that way that he met Sanosuke who he assumed was technically his sensei even though he only trained him like once or twice. The biggest thing he could credit Sanosuke with was that he finally realized just how hard he had to train to become stronger or as strong as him. Now the man was the current Raikage. He suspected he would have to go there and talk to him sooner or later with the Shikyo Four all around and his old village being to the far north of lightning country. That would be an interesting reunion. After all he hadn’t seen his sensei since they both learned he had a slight taste for killing.

naaaahhhhh" was the sound that yunah let out as he alarm clock rung loudly in the back round. She had set it extra early so that way she could be there early. Her parents had raised her to hate being late, and sometime around the age of 8 she started adopting the feeling of if she wasn't at least 5 minutes early, she felt like she was late. This ended in a few problems for her a few times, but she still was never late for anything. Ever. It was one of her pet peeves. She hated people who weren't punctional... among other thing... Yunah let out a yawn as she sat up up slowly with groginess and streched her arms. letting out small groans as she did so. Granted, as much as she liked getting to places early, she certainly didn't like getting up very early. But, today was going to be a promising day. Today Yunah was meeting Dameon, and the other one whom had apparently passed Dameon's test. Yunah was still iffy on her standings as Dameon's student or not. The small training session she had had with him, afte there little battle of information had be grueling, and difficult, but it really wasn't anything as to what Dameon had cracked up "the test" to be like. So she honestly had a hard time imaging that, that was actually the test he had been talking about. It seemed more like what she would expect some one of such prestigious title's, normal trainign session to feel like. So she would simply chalk it off as that what it was. However, She was going to meet the legend. The only kid to have ever actually passed Dameon's test. She wanted to test him herself most of all. With how highly dameon talked of him, he might prove to be a fun challenge against her black and red blade. That was something she was certainly looking forward too. If dameon talked so highly of him, then he would be a good gadge to measure yunah's own skills. Maybe that is what Dameon was thinking too... In which case, Yunah would have to do her absolute best to absolutely destroy him. If she got the chance to spar with him that was.

With the prospect of meeting dameon's own personal ego booster, yunah jumped out of bed. she stripped as she walked into her bathroom off of her bedroom. She couldn't help but let out a sigh as she had gotten up early enough that the club was still booming kitty corner to her house, so she took a shower to club music. One of the more interesting experiences she has had in her life, but that really didn't matter all that much. She was still exicted to get out and see what so of propspects awaited her. She got out of the shower, and dried off. Then she got dressed in her usual outfit. Her kunai pouch on her left thigh on the inside of skirt, filled with her one kunai, and her three shuriken. Her sword strapped to her side as well, although on the outside of her skirt. With her breat plate mounted, and her kirigakure headband tied around her neck. Even thing was in it's usual place, and she felt ready to take on the day, and with outfit on, she went into the living room and made herself breakfast, and took the time to eat it. She even had enough to clean the dishes afterwards. Then she she walked out of her house, making sure to lock up the door on her way out, and headed towards the training grounds.

Dameon's own private training grounds weren't necessarily hard to find, she had been the not a few days before hand, training with him, and so she found the route to the grounds easily. Upon entering the clearing, roughly 10 minutes before she was suppose to be there. Having timed out her morning perfectly, and arrivving percisely when she ment too. She said out loud [color=blue]"Dameon-Sensei, i'm here."[color] She then scanned the grounds to see if she could find him. But, she wasn't necesarilly looking for just him. There was one other she was looking for too. The other student. Dameon's pride and joy. She was going to destroy him today. Outshine him in every way. She had too. She had no choice. She had something to prove to dameon, and the other student was the easiest way to accomplish that. Plus, she wanted to know how good he was. the tension built inside of her as she search. Anticipation, and Expectations all peaked. What did he look like? How did he act? What made him so good? all of these questions rang out in Yunah's mind. She would certainly find out soon enough.

Maigo slept well, one of the only things that brought him piece, his feeling in his bed being analogous to floating on a cloud where all of his cares could float away and the thought of rigorous training meant nothing to him at this moment. But it can't last forever as he lied sprawled out over his bed and the sheets in disarray, the nagging sound he would describe as a siren would awaken him in a sprawl of anger, angst, and frustration for his sleep being interrupted so quickly. Grasping quickly at his nightstand to find the snooze button to his alarm, Maigo reached too far out and knocked everything from his table, falling to the ground beside his bed with a large thud and his alarm silencing itself by landing on his head. A typical morning in Maigo's mind, besides he didn't think that any morning that would interrupt his sleep was worth waking for, and any that would wake him from slumber is not one to be considered good by any regard but now that he was up and collapsed upon his floor he may as well get up. Tossing his sheets into a ball on his bed he headed to his bathroom to go through his morning routine, showering, brushing his teeth, and dressing himself in his normal attire; bandages to cover up scars he received as a young child and then his jacket to cover up. Fixing his pouch upon his leg and tying his sword to the back of his belt and heading downstairs to join his parents for breakfast, and to finish preparing for his day.

Sitting down at the table, only his mother was there to greet him, giving him his breakfast, some bread and milk, with some bacon as well to help get his day going. It looked delicious and as he ate slowly, spending the morning with his mother he looked at the clock and realized he only had twenty minutes until he was supposed to meet that guy to begin more training and whatever else he might have for Maigo. Seeing his mom off and throwing his dishes in the sink before he got his sandals together, he was now rushing out of the door to meet this guy. As he ran out the door he remembered something vaguely about a bridge but there were tons of those in Kirigakure, with all the waterways and things he could have meant any of them. As he ran out he picked out the more prominent ones he knew he could hit in a row before ending up late to their meeting, running through the streets and jumping from tree to tree and roof to roof on his way to the bridges he was supposed to meet him at.

At the first bridge, simple crossing over a waterway in the middle of the village, looking around for the guy who tested him he saw nothing and left in a hurry to the next one on his mental list or map to check out. The next one was near a waterfall and was a smaller and less used bridge towards the edge of the village, away from the high traffic areas and away from buildings themselves, he hurried off as quickly as he could to check for his new teacher. As he approached the bridge he saw the man, in black as he was before, sitting and meditating at the bridge with another person also approaching. Paying no attention to the second person he headed straight for his sensei sitting on the bridge, he dashed out towards them and came to a sliding stop at the edge of the bridge, stretching out and catching his breathe as he began to walk up the bridge. He debated if he should wave or yell out to him and let him know that he was there, or if he should just keep quiet and let him speak first or the other person who was there now. Either way, he hoped that they would take it easy this morning and give him a chance to warm up before getting too into their training. But given last time, he seriously doubted that.

Dameon stood up and PenPen walked out from around his legs and faced the two of them along with Dameon. Dameon looked at the two who seemed like complete opposites. PenPen crossed his wings in an attempt to look tough right as Dameon crossed his own arms. The stick and the elf, he wondered if it was even fair for them to spar against one another, they could both be just as skilled but it would be awkward as hell for both of them to spar against one another. The stick would have to constantly be aiming down and she would constantly have to aiming upward. Dameon was just…normal at least in terms of size and weight so he couldn’t really wrap his head around the two of them. Even PenPen raised an eyebrow and scratched the top of his head a bit. Finally Dameon decided enough was enough and he cleared his throat as the sun began to rise behind him. ”Okay, well since both of you are here we will be doing things a bit differently then what Slenderman is probably used to. I still have to put Yunah here through the ringer I haven’t actually seen her in action yet. So we will start with some group warming up. There are a few bokkens here somewhere….PenPen?” Dameon asked looking at the penguin who simply pointed to the top of the waterfall. ”Perfect, you remembered. PenPen here has already set you up for your first task. At the top of the waterfall are two bokken. This will wake you up trust me. It seems PenPen and I agree both of you need to go through the same regiment that I personally went through during the war. Meet me up there and I will explain further. Use the small path around back you guys are not quite skilled enough to use the same route as me,” Dameon stated the fact at the end as he leapt from where he was to a good ten feet away to the rocks of the waterfall and kicked off of the falling water and landed on top of one of the few rocks up there.

He would wait for them to arrive and toss their bokkens to them. He then took out his own from behind his left shoulder.”So every morning we start with abs, abs are extremely important plus everything I do has more than one purpose. You will basically be water boarding yourself here to wake yourself up. You will get used to it and it’s just one less things to worry about. You will wedge the bokken between these rocks and stick you will wedge between these rocks. You then slide your feet under like so and you will be doing full crunches off the water fall like so,” Dameon said pointing and demonstrating exactly what he wanted. He wedged his bokken in himself back. The distance was perfect as his butt was the first thing to not be on any hard surface meaning his legs were the only thing that wasn’t moving and instead his anchor. He lowered himself back disappearing in the waterfall as the cold water rushed and poured over his face and body. He then slowly lifted himself up so he was almost planking off the waterfall before pulling his torso back to his legs and doing it again another five times. To demonstrate the technique he wanted. At the end of the fifth time he pulled himself up and stood up grabbing his bokken and stepping aside so that they could do it.

”You will do this until you are physically incapable of doing anymore. Just remember if you can’t pull yourself up there is a decent chance you could drown. You won’t be able to breath when you go down for one of your reps. You need to know your body and know how hard to push yourself. That being said the person who does the most reps will get to train with me during technique practice, the person who does the least gets to train with PenPen…or one of my clones. Depends with PenPen even wants to train the loser,” Dameon said as he looked toward PenPen who just pulled out a newspaper and sat against a rock. ”That means no,” he translated for them. ”Okay take your positions and start at the same time, no cheating stick,” Dameon said as he waited for them to begin. Once they did begin he would stand on the rock between the two of them and watch as they went through the training.

the other student showed up, and as such dameon sat up. He mentioned that he still needed to test out yunah's abilities, and then asked his pet where some bokken's were, for the exercise they were doing. Yunah enjoyed the thought of getting to show off her abilities to dameon. It was true, he hadn't seen her fight yet, and she desperately wanted to display them. the "group exercise" they were going to do although intrigued Yunah, and she was curious to see what that would entail. Dameon then sai that their exercise would be at the top of the waterfall. He made a comment about waking up, but that this point yunah had been up for hours and so she was already well awake. not really needing to be woken up that much. he also tlaked about the war, and it made yunah want to giggle. he sounded like an old man reflecting back on his war stories. Yunah could, from that, assume the exercise was going to be something so over the top and ridiculus that she probably wouldn't want to do it/see the point in it, but there was nothing that could be done about that. She had something to prove and was going to do it. so she walked up to path to the top of the waterfall, and watched as dameon gave his little instructions as to the exercise they were going to do. She had to stop herself from sighing. it was just as she figured. something so over the top and ridiculous, only some old geezer training for a war would think of it. Yunah still placed the bokken inbetween two rock and got into postion. She would have to beat out the other kid if she wanted to prove she was better than him. Yunah would wait until the other kid got into postion as well, and then wait until dameon would give the signal to start, and she would begin. moving her body back, and getting a deep breathe before her head went under. She would do this process slowly, not wanting to waste a ton of energy in the beginning of the challenge.

After receiving his instructions to follow the man up to the top of the hill where they would begin their training, he was glad it would be lighter to start so that he could wake up before getting too into it. Lackidaisically following the girl up the hill to the top of the waterfall, he thought of introducing himself as they headed up but he decided to wait until maybe a bit later when he was awake to start talking about menial things with them. Finally arriving at the top of the cliff edge, the man began to explain what their exercise would be and why it's useful, being nothing more than a core exercise it didn't take much explaining to get across to them but his demonstration nailed the point even further across. Grabbing a bokken behind the girl he watched her setup and waiting for Maigo to get set up as well, but Maigo would delay pointing at the man, If I win, I train with you and I get to ask you whatever I want, including your name! Otherwise, I'm just gonna call Old Man the whole time. Going to put his bokken into the rocks, he spoke up once again before he the man would usher them on and before he would begin, And another thing, what's with calling me stick, I'm not that small, I've just got lots of room to get stronger, that's all. almost pouting while he said it. He was starting to think about how he could afford to put on some muscle and weight and even out a bit, and how the ladies might be into someone a bit more built.

Maigo waited for her to begin, noticing her take a large breathe, he opted out for more controlled breathes in order to limit the strain on the cells of his muscles. Once she would begin though he would follow suit, no longer worried about her timing, he would count out at his own pace, this was training after all, and he needed to get stronger not just beat her for a training lesson. And if this training exercise would bring him one step closer then he would push himself to his limit, counting out in his head. He would count to three for full extension backwards and once fully extended and with a nose full of water he would lift back up, aiming to be all the way up within 5 seconds. Inhaling while he leaned back and exhaling as he came upward, he was careful to control his breathing and keep going, feeling his muscles tightening around his stomach and core. But he couldn't give up, not while he had strength left, the point of training was to test your limits and become greater, and more than that if he was able to top this girl he would be trained even further by the real person, and not just a penguin or some clone. That drive was enough to keep him going, with each repetition he knew his form would become sloppier and he would lose control of his breathing the further and further he went on. But he wouldn't give up, not while one more repetition could be drawn out from his core. Even if he lost, he would at least get stronger in some ways, then in the next event he would be that much closer to beating her out. Gritted teeth and the strength of will to match, he prepared for the long haul, wondering how long it would be before either he or this other girl gave out. Perhaps he should have learned her name and something about her before they got into their little competition.

“If I win, I train with you and I get to ask you whatever I want, including your name! Otherwise, I'm just gonna call Old Man the whole time.” He heard his student say as he prepared to start doing the exercise. Dameon just laughed a bit under his breath. "Deal. Though I don’t have to answer you, you can ask anything you want,” Dameon said pointing out the genin’s mistake for the deal he just made for if he won the little competition. ”You are six foot two and a hundred and seventy pounds. You are the biggest target for a damn genin I have ever seen. A stray fart could hit you and knock you over with those chicken legs. Hell I bet the elf here could do it herself but we will see about that later,” Dameon said teasing back at his students trying to make them feel a bit insecure if only to see what their reaction was. Dameon had flaws but didn’t care if anyone pointed them out, he would just call them observant, nothing about him would piss him off like he could do with these two. Dameon stood on a rock between them and watched as they both started doing the exercise. The stick was off to a good start focusing on getting the form right  thus making each repetition count where as the elf was going so fast a few of them he wouldn’t even count because of bad form. All in all they were about tied so far.

Dameon looked back to see PenPen put away his newspaper and stand up and walk over to them as well. Dameon took out his bokken, aptly named the Baka stick and would start to whack Yunah whenever she came to the top of her rep if she failed to do a rep that was of decent form. Maigo though would have PenPen bitching at him from on top of his stomach for him to go faster, though he didn’t know how to speak so he just flapped and made random noised incessantly trying to motivate him. ” Stick your form is fine, go faster. Elf you need better form and to slow down a bit. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. You will hear that a lot from me so get used to it. Both of you keep this up for another ten minutes or so and we will move on,” Dameon instructed as he also gave them the time frame that they had left and depending on their strength would plan for the next ten minutes. At their current rates and paces he expected them to be able to continue. Despite Yunah’s bad form he knew she was going slower then she could go, she just needed to get her form better and he could easily win. Whereas he knew Maigo would struggle because of how tall he was. He would have more weight to bring up and because he was so tall he would have to have that weight brought up much more awkwardly.

Hell I bet the elf here could do it herself but we will see about that later,” Yunah wanted to hit for that elf comment. in fact she was going too. Yunah ahd a plan in mind to due just that. although she needed to catch up to the other student before she could do anything. ” Stick your form is fine, go faster. Elf you need better form and to slow down a bit. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. You will hear that a lot from me so get used to it. Both of you keep this up for another ten minutes or so and we will move on,” Yunah gritted her teeth. that elf comment again. but dameon was right her form could use a little bit of attention. she had been paying so much attention to having a slow and steady start that she merely forgot to focus on her form. Yunah grinned. being careful not to open her mouth as she did so, because she didn't need a mouthful of water. She focused solely on having a better form, as such her speed fell a little bit, but not she was using even less energy. Then as Yunah leaned back she made the monkey and then the hare sign. Now she could focus on form and have great speed too. it was a win win. Plus dameon never mentioned any rules... now. as for that elf comment. yunah went back and forth 4 more times after she actived her jutsu, and then she slipped on hand into her kunai pouch as she leaned then she let both her arms go above her head, and as she used her core muscles to pull herself up, along with the wind aiding in her movement, she basically acted as a catapult for the kunai, which was aimmed right at dameon's head. then she would continue to do her reps, maintaining her form, while letting the wind assist her in speed. At this rate she was moving considerably faster than the other student. as well, and the reps were still taking a toll on her body, it's not like the wind did all of the work for her. it just made it easier to go faster. But, she could guess she had already passed him in numbers. "one hundred and fifty" yunah muttered under her breathe outloud, publicly counting to try and intimidate the other student. she would win this competition.

Maigo could feel the muscles in his core tensing, to the point of a cramp even, his only solice were the down strokes where for less than a second he could relax out and let the water run over him. The penguin stood over him yelling and flapping wildly, as he lifted himself up. It was quite distracting and made Maigo want to burst out laughing but then he would surely lose and the bokken would come down across his head like a thunderbolt from Zeus. To avoid that he contained his laughter to himself, mentally imagining how ridiculous Penpen looked from a bystander's  perspective. Continuing on, his muscles tightening with each turn, like gears on a drawbridge, burning began to consume his muscles and he knew to keep fighting through it. He spoke during his repetitions, ”Stick your form is fine, go faster. Elf you need better form and to slow down a bit. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. You will hear that a lot from me so get used to it. Both of you keep this up for another ten minutes or so and we will move on,” too slow in his movements, he knew he could go a bit faster but much more would take some form of extra help and he wasn't weak enough to need assistance to get through this routine.

Maigo continued on, increasing his speed as he could, changing his interval to 4 seconds for each complete rep, he wasn't going to lose so easily. But the girls constant counting was starting to get annoying, he imagined she was absolutely giddy over what she thought was a great performance but Maigo would have to lay that to rest soon enough. They continued on with their training, Maigo hadn't kept count, he assumed that he would to decide who the 'supposed' winner was but her counting was getting rather annoying the further it went on. Towards the end of their time she counted out, "one hundred and fifty" which made Maigo chuckle and take a large chunk of water to his mouth and up his nose. He did the math in his head, after 10 minutes at a consistent 4 second interval, he should hit 150 reps alone there plus whatever he had done before so if quantity was the measurement to win, she wasn't going to do as great as she thinks. With a smile he spoke between his reps, Counting out loud. . . is for someone who either. . . is not intelligent enough. . . to count in their head. . . or wants to show off. . . and most people. . . who show off. . . actually accomplish something. . . speical, not. . . a few extra reps. . . with bad form. . . and who are. . . strong enough. . . to do their work without. . . help or extra jutsu. he said with a strained voice letting his words slide out while he wasn't submerged.

This girl may be fairly good, and she may be able to keep up with Maigo in quantity, but Maigo knew for a fact that he could out-intimidate her or out-trash talk her any day of the week. He continued crunching with his hands behind his head and his muscles tingling and burning at this point, Maigo knew he was strong but he was only as strong as a genin could be, and he would have a long way to go before he surpassed his level. Continuing on, focusing his form and keeping his time, he would wait until their exercise was concluded and push himself onward, until they were told to finish or until one of the two decided they had enough of Maigo for one day.

Dameon simply watched as the two of them started to balance out but Maigo had already a decent lead though he also hadn’t deducted either of for their mistakes when displaying bad form. PenPen had now gotten off of Maigo and moved in front of Dameon like he was judging as well. He laughed as Yunah formed a hand sign to apparently start cheating but she also reacted to his elf comment which just meant he would continue to use it from now on. She tossed a kunai aiming for him not even thinking of the consequences. Dameon simply snatched it out of the air by the handle and in one smooth motion tossed it back at her at his full capable speed aiming to graze her leg and leave a cut. It wouldn’t be anything major or in a bad place but it would hurt and make it somewhat difficult for her to run. Dameon walked forward on the water and leaned over the edge staring at her.

”Elf if you throw a weapon at someone you should probably be sure that you can kill them. You also lose the contest for using chakra. Just because I don’t state obvious restrictions doesn’t mean you try and push the boundaries,” Dameon said as he kicked her bokken off of the waterfall which would send her falling down toward the stream below. PenPen would do the same with Maigo though the bokken would not go as far and was more likely to whack him in the head if he wasn’t careful.

Dameon picked up PenPen and jumped from the top of the waterfall and landing gracefully onto the grass to the right of the stream and the bridge. Dameons rubbed his chin a bit wondering what exactly they should do next. Normally when he self-trained this was the part where he would start focusing on his technique. Though in this case he really had no idea of Yunah’s skill with a sword. Dameon would wait for them to get back to dry land and Dameon would announce the next stage of training. Before he did so PenPen had his little medic hat on as he waddled across the grass and stuck a single pink penguin Band-Aid onto Yunah’s cut that wasn’t even close to the correct size of the horizontal cut where PenPen had placed the Band-Aid vertically on her leg. Dameon simply patted his head to humor him as if he had done a good job.

”Next you two will be fighting one another. If we are to be a team you will need to understand how one another fight and it will also be good practice for the upcoming Chuunin Exams that you two are signed up for. Plus I am curious what is stronger, a genin Shikyo or a genin Uchiha. Oh and you are to use your real swords. Since it is also a spar you two should strip your armor, headbands, ect. The first one to draw blood wins. Separate ten paces and begin when you are ready I will watch from over there, Dameon said pointing with his thumb backward and leaping backward.

Maigo giggled as she was tossed from the waterfall by having her bokken knocked off, his laughter almost made him lose balance and fall off as well. But quickly regathering himself he looked up, the penguin standing there staring at him. Maigo stared back as they paused for a moment, and in slow motion his flipper lifted up and slide the bokken off the rock, Maigo's eyes would widen as he reached forward to try to grab a rock or PenPen to take him down with him. But it didn't matter as his arms would miss his target and his legs pulled the bokken back into his forehead, if only he wore his headband on his head then it wouldn't have hurt so badly. As he fell backwards flailing wildly trying to grab hold and not fall, cursing under his breathe as he slide off the edge to the bottom of the fall. A splash at bottom as he came tumbling down, he would lie face down in the water as his head throbbed from the bokken and hitting his head on the river floor.

As he crawled back to the edge of the river, a literal crawl he saw PenPen place a band aid on the girls leg, then waddle around like he had done something great. Maigo still angry wanted to go and give that penguin a piece of his mind, but instead the guy called out, ”Next you two will be fighting one another. Separate ten paces and begin when you are ready I will watch from over there" Maigo's eyes widened as he heard his words, his dispute with the penguin would have to wait until after. He looked towards the girl and nodded, they stood back to back and began to seperate ten spaces, Maigo activated his Sharingan while they walked and put his hand on his sword. Pausing on the tenth step and before turning around he called out, My name is Maigo. then turned towards her with his sword drawn and began to attack. His sharingan gave him a slight advantage in following her movements as they traded blows for a moment, slash and stabs followed for a moment, the intensity of the battle kept high for their level.

As they continued their battle, it was clear that Maigo was becoming fatigued, he was beginning to slow down in both his attack and defense. It was as he blocked one of her strikes that he noticed PenPen walking around the edge of them, he wondered what in the world that damned penguin was going to do now. So far he had caused nothing but trouble, he gritted his teeth as he watched him from the corner of his eye. Having taken his mind of the battle he felt the edge of her blade run across his arm, it was in that moment that he knew he had lost the challenge. A look of disappointment came over him as he looked at his arm now bleeding, and then glanced at PenPen who was snickering at him. Oh how it infuriated him, he was going to get that penguin good one of these days, but for now he lowered his sword and slide it back into it's sheathe. He looked towards the girl, fashioning the best smile he could for having lost, Well, you win I guess. Even though you got lucky this time. he said as he crossed his arms and tilted his head away. Now he would wait for whatever was next for them, he was extremely angry that he had lost focus and lost but there was no helping that anymore.

Yunah watched him catch her kunai, however she went back down before she could see what was coming next. The pain flurried in her leg, like a sweet kiss. it hurt, but she couldn't help but enjoy the sensation. However, he would show anger and resentment towards Dameon as she came back up. How dare he call her elf. She would definitey get him back for that at somepoint

”Elf" THERE IT WAS AGAIN. She was going to kill him if it was the last thing she did. She hated her ears, but there was nothing she could do about them. It was a birth defect she can't control. She had even had several doctors look at her ears to try and see if she could get them fixed in some way shape or form, but they were all stunned by them. She wanted to kill Dameon. But, she needed his help in order to beat her sister, and so therefor their wasn't really anything that she coudl do about it. "if you throw a weapon at someone you should probably be sure that you can kill them. You also lose the contest for using chakra. Just because I don’t state obvious restrictions doesn’t mean you try and push the boundaries,” Dameon said as he kicked her bokken off of the waterfall. However that was easy enough to see. She leaned back once more just before he kicked, and placed her hand on the waterfall, using the supernatural walking practice to gain a balance she did a flip and then proceeded the slide down the waterfall, on her feet, and one hand running through it, as if she were simply sliding backwards. then she would kick off the waterfall, and do a backflip, landing on the small stream that was there because of the falls. She would then reach down into the water and grab her kunai, placing it in it's pouch. As she did so, the little penguin came a put a band-aid on her wound. Although he did so incorrectly, yunah could see that he was trying and so she patted him on the head and said with a smile "Thanks little guy" then she would stand up and face dameon. whom jut started speaking.

Separate ten paces and begin when you are ready I will watch from over there" yunah simply smiled as she took of her breast plate, and her headband, and held her blade towards the other student. She was waiting for this. "My name is Maigo" He said to her, as his eyes turned red with the famous eyes of an uchiha. hmm. so maybe that's why dameon likes him so much. Yunah only simply said "Yunah." in response to him. Then she took off, her wind helping her speed. She would clash swords with him. Immediately she would realize that he isn't very practiced with a sword. however he could easily read her movements. But his form was sloppy, and unrefined. it was easy to see he was a novice at this. Yunah went easy on him. Giving predicable strikes, but changing each one up. She wanted to test the limits of his legendary dojutsu. To Dameon it would probably be easy to see that she was going easy on him, based on how her attacks were notibly easy to block and react to, and how her defensive moves, and parries were much more refined and tuned, as well as faster. Form was second nature to her in this, and she knew hers was better than his. It didn't take long for him to glance away from her. Yunah said "Never take your eyes off of your opponent." As she thrust her blade forwards into his arm. Luckily for him she didn't have her chakra running through her blade, or she might have severed something serious. Now she almost wished she would have. though, after the hit, she would walk over to the river to clean her blade before sheathing it again. "Well you won, i guess, although you got lucky this time." yunah only let an excessive amount of air out of her nose as she ended her movement jutsu. "you were slow and easy to read. if i didn't want to test out your sharigan's limits, i would have ended it sooner. Next time, i won't go easy on you." she said. Then she would turn to dameon, as she rolled her eyes. He was sure cocky for someone who had just lost.

However, none of his cockiness really mattered now. She had beat him. She had proven she was better than him to dameon, and that was what she had really set out to do today. Honestly she couldn't really imagine a better end to their training. If that really was the end of their training. Which, she doubted it. Dameon's training methods seemed odd, and he was probably going to make them swing from tree to tree like a monkey next, only upside down. If he did, yunah honestly wouldn't be all that surprised. However, this Maigo uchiha, A.K.A. the stick, seemed like he was a second class uchiha, and really wasn't all the deserving of the name. His sharigan was impressive for sure, and without it, he probably wouldn't have even blocked yunah's first strike, but there wasn't much to be said about that. He was obviously a rookie in the sword, and if yunah was going to need to rely on him for support, she was definitely going to keep sparring with him just so he could get better. Because she didn't want to be stabbed in the back on a mission because the enemy bypassed him so easily. She wasn't sure how he was going to do in the up and coming chunin exams, although she couldn't imagine him doing all too well. But, time would only tell how this small group of swordsmen would advance. Maybe one day, Her and Maigo would be some of the legendary swordsmen of the mist. Or maybe maigo would be dead in a ditch somewhere with his eyes plucked out because he was an easy target. Yunah really couldn't predict the future but she figured the second option was a much more likely outcome. So that left their training. What were they going to be doing the rest of the day. Yunah coudn't be sure, but since she was done with her little spar, she put back on her breast plate, and headband, both in their usual places, as she ran her finger down the cut of her leg, which the blood had dried up at this point. this certainly was an interesting experience. She would be sure to tell the fuuton village about shinobi villages, if she ever made it home. But she had a long road ahead of her before she could make it home. A road that ended in blood on yunah's hands. Her sisters blood. And, she would not stop until she had achieved that goal. Maigo was a tiny obstacle she had overcome on her way to her sister, but she would have many, many more to face, before she even had a shot of taking on the bitch. Dameon would get her there though. That she had faith in. he had gotten her so far already. And, now that she had beaten his student whom had passed the test, he was almost certainly going to take her on as a student. He had even given her a nickname. It was an annoying one, but still he had. She had faith that she would be one of his students. If that little shit could pass dameon's test, yunah was sure that she could too. Although she shouldn't really be calling him little, he was actually quiet tall... Maybe if he just put on some meat on his bones, he might actually be a threat. because he certainly wasn't fast enough to be of any real danger, but if he had strength, plus how tall he was, then when he landed a blow (if he could) then it would actually do some damage.

Dameon leaned up against one of the trees that outlined the would be battlefield and PenPen would be right next to him leaning against the tree next to him. Dameon would watch as they fought and would ultimately feel embarrassed about the both of them. Yunah was overconfident and insisted her abilities were superior to Maigo’s but in truth they were both equally bad. Maigo could use the excuse of having been awake nearly a straight week with a very strict training regimen to get his sharingan unlocked but he didn’t even bother. It was as if he intended to lose just so she could calm down and stop being such a nuisance. He wouldn’t blame him but at the same time he was upset that he hadn’t given it his all like he had in the cave. More importantly he was also upset he had to now train another Shikyo and one that was so overconfident at that. He sighed as he and PenPen bounced off the tree and PenPen would run up to Maigo and slap a Band-Aid on him as well. Dameon walked in between them both and smacked them both upside the back of the head. Neither one of them had used anything that could harm the other. He had hoped they would have gone all out and put one another’s life on the line but instead they had only done the bare minimum.

”You guys both disappoint me. Maigo you held back by not using your genjutsu and Yunah you held back because you were not aiming to kill. Both of you need to get over yourselves and your own sense of morals and toss them away. When this team fights we fight to kill. You will only be at a disadvantage against the enemy if you think otherwise. It is only by overcoming your boundaries and limitations and facing death that you become stronger by leaps and bounds. It is also how you grow up and start to realize that life won’t make things easier for you, so you need to stop acting like everything will be handed to you and instead seize it by doing whatever is possible to accomplish your mission,”Dameon said as he started to walk away from the training grounds. It was almost time for him to start his rounds of patrols on the village and with the deficit of higher ranked shinobi lately he had to be there to oversee the few that they had.

”Both of you need to work together to figure out how you will improve. You two need to be able to work together but at the same time be willing to push one another to the brink of death to make you both stronger. I have to do my patrols. We will resume tomorrow at the exact same time. Maybe this time you guys will actually show me something worthy of being my students,” Dameon said as he used shunshin and vanished from the battlefield without a trace.

After their fight had concluded they stood next to each other, PenPen ran to Maigo and slapped Band-aid on his arm to help in the best way he knew he could. Followed swiftly by a hit to the back of his head, the throbbing sensation burst forth as he rubbed the back of it, he wasn't surprised though, it was becoming quite regular for him to be physically tormented whenever something didn't happen right or the way he imagined it to. It is also how you grow up and start to realize that life won’t make things easier for you, so you need to stop acting like everything will be handed to you and instead seize it by doing whatever is possible to accomplish your mission,” he roared forth as he followed him. It was a sentiment Maigo didn't fully share with him, fighting to kill and only to kill, and to use it as a means to grow up? Maigo would come to see this as a clear ideological split between the two of them, killing should be reserved in the instance that justice must be delivered to those who deserve it. He started to walk off at this point calling out as he began to exit the training grounds, ”Both of you need to work together to figure out how you will improve. You two need to be able to work together but at the same time be willing to push one another to the brink of death to make you both stronger. I have to do my patrols. We will resume tomorrow at the exact same time. Maybe this time you guys will actually show me something worthy of being my students,” this time he was right though.

Maigo would need Yunah to help make himself stronger, although he wasn't convinced that the brink of death stuff was necessary, Maigo would admit that it is certainly, one way of getting stronger. He also wasn't that he would ever fully become his student, maybe not for a long while, and then he was gone, until tomorrow that was. With a sigh Maigo turned towards Yunah, Well, I'm off to sleep til tomorrow, good job today. Hopefully we can start working on this team stuff, whatever he meant by that. the last sentence floated through the air as he mumbled it and began to walk down the path he showed up on. Waving as he walked, his sharingan deactivated and he began to head home, his fatigue from the past week or so was extreme. He wasn't even sure he was gonna make it through tomorrow as he shuffled his feet back home, not to mention the Chuunin Exams were coming up and traveling to Kumogakure would take a lot of energy as well. He chuckled at the idea of pretending to be sick and skipping out, but he knew that wouldn't go over well, he could just picture the image of him being beaten over something ridiculous like that. Regardless, he would go sleep away the rest of the afternoon and let his aching bones and muscles relax if only for a day, until tomorrow where he will have to put up with whatever new and crazy method of training they could come up with next.
