Toshiko had only been inside of sunagakure for a while and things were already starting to get hectic. After arriving there with his travel group from konoha, he had to deal with a few problems with them that should have been avoided. Not only that, but he had been assigned two missions already that he himself would have to complete, direct orders from the leaders of the village themselves. First was his co-op mission with zaiaku, second was his mission to get rid of the wolf that had been terrorizing the village and to bury the bodies of the killed victims. Both tasks had their difficulties. On his last mission he came out of it with a wound upon his arm. But Toshiko managed to get out of it and get the job done. after he himself arrived in the village, something he didn't expect had happened. A ninja of the village came up to him baring a message from those in charge. They had been aware of his travel there of course, and to keep him out of trouble and as a form of payment he was being assigned missions to do for the village. The village had assigned him a B rank mission of substantial difficulty. While Toshiko thought of it as a liability, he still enjoyed helping people. He sighed, and listened to the ninja who greeted him give the details of the mission.

"there is a group of criminal pirates that go along the towns upon the coast, attacking individuals and stealing their possessions. They are going after a larger town next. The town has already been informed of this, and they have set up traps, but are low in number. you have been requested to go to the town, and help them fend off the pirates."

Toshiko took in the information, and began to think about the right way to go about this mission. He figured it could be done easily enough.

"Okay then. I will get the job done and i'll have the villagers report it afterwards."

The ninja nodded, quickly jumped up towards the roof of the hotel, and then left the area. Toshiko now knew what his next assignment was, and he had to get it done as soon as he possibly could. Without further ado, he made his way toward the coast, directly to the town that was next to be targeted. It took a while. Around 30 minutes of running in the direction for him to finally reach the place. He came up to a somewhat secluded set of buildings that lead to an array of houses and shops aligned along the coast. The shore was next to the docks all of which were empty, and the ocean was met with a great silence from all around the area. Toshiko looked around. There was no one out on the streets, no one on the docks. It was seemingly empty. Was this the right place, or were the people of the town simply in hiding due to being warned of the attack before it actually happened?

After a few moments of utter silence besides the roaring of the ocean waves hitting the shore, Toshiko heard a fast and yet noticeable noise from behind him. He turned, at the ready to attack whoever it was. He turned and saw a small group of people, garnishing jounin vests and wearing sunagakure headbands. They were ninja of the village of course. One of them stepped forward, and opened his mouth to directly speak with Toshiko.

"are you Uzumaki Toshiko. Chuunin of the leaf village?"

He nodded.

"Were are special jounin of sunagakure, here to accompany you on the mission to stop and eliminate these so called pirates. We've evacuated the entire town so none of the civilians can be hurt. They should be here any second now. Are you ready?"

"Yes sir. It's an honor to work alongside such respected and high rank ninja such as yourselves."

Just as he spoke those words, a plethora of loud battle cries could be heard from out on the ocean. They all turned their attention to the loud noise as a large ship came up in their view from the horizon, moving quickly in their direction. That was it. It had to be the pirates. The jounin of the village of the sand got ready for battle, quickly pulling out their kunai, and then ran out onto the water, using the supernatural walking technique to run across heading directly for the ship at full speed. Toshiko did the same, following behind them as fast as he could. Their speed was substantially higher than his, but he managed to stay within a 9 meter range of them. after a minute, the jounin made it onto the ship, and engaged in battle with the pirates. Toshiko followed up on after to see at least 50 pirates, and only 5 ninja to take them on. Shit.

They seemed outnumbered, but the jounin were skilled ninja who could take on multiple enemies at once. They all went head to head with 5 pirates at a time. Toshiko was almost a bit jealous of them. He still had to get his part of the job done. He had to contribute somehow. He saw a pirate with a long bastard sword in his hand, running straight for him. The pirate cocked back the blade, and then swung directly at Toshiko's left side, Toshiko side stepped the blade, grabbed the tip of it and then ripped it out of the pirate's hands. he then turned the blade around so his hands were now on the hilt, and then used jammed it into the nose of the pirate who had attacked him. The pirate screamed out in pain and became stunned for a moment. Toshiko then dropped the blade, turned, and then kicked the pirate in the side of his chest causing him to fly off the side of the boat, and into the water below. Two more pirates came Toshiko's way, and he smiled. He figured that this would be way more fun that he originally thought.

As the two pirates came his way, Toshiko ran straight for them. He punched one in the side of the head as the other pirate swung it's sword at his back. Toshiko turned and then pushed the pirate he hit into the one attempting to hit him, sending them both toppling to the ground. He then picked them both up one in each hand, and then threw them off the side as well. He had managed to get rid of three already. The jounin were holding their own very well. they had defeated and killed all of their targets with great ease. There were now only six pirates left. They didn't seem to be very intimidated. The jounin wanted to get the job done quickly. Toshiko and the jounin went to charge the six pirates, each taking one as their own primary target. Toshiko went for the one on the far right. He didn't hesitate to charge him, attempting to kick him directly in the forehead. The pirate blocked his kick with the hilt of his sword, and then quickly swung it around. The blade struck Toshiko in his left thigh, cutting an inch deep into him. Toshiko grimaced, grunting out to express his pain. The pirate didn't stop his attacks there. Pulling out the blade he swung again at Toshiko's in one swift motion. He put up his hand and gripped the sword, deflecting the original attack but allowing the blade to strike him deep in his palm.

Toshiko gripped the blade, refusing to allow his opponent to use it to strike him again. In the struggle for the blade, Toshiko brought up his left knee directly into the pirates stomach, causing the pirate's grip on the sword to loosen. Toshiko then took his free hand, and punched the pirate using all the force he could muster up. THe pirate was sent flying back, falling down to the ground. Toshiko dropped the sword from his other hand and panted. The special jounin took out the last five, knocking them out and then slitting their throats right after. Toshiko hated that and thought it was unneeded, but after all, the job had been done. One of the special jounin went over to a few red canisters that had been placed on the right hand side of the ship, filled with gasoline and resources that were stolen from one of the villages. he tipped them over, allowing the gasoline to pour all over the ship floor. He then pulled out a simple lighter, ignited it, and then dropped it into the gasoline, setting the ship aflame. Toshiko and the rest of the ninja hopped off the ship, and ran back to shore and the ship was entirely set aflame.

"Mission complete. A job well done Uzumaki Toshiko."

"Thank you sure. It was a pleasure to help."

With those words said and the mission done, Toshiko had completed what it was that he set out to do. He said farewell to his comrades, and then made his way back to his temporary home in sunagakure with another mission complete.
