It was the crack of dawn. It had been only a day or two since Kaekio had gotten back from the chunin exams and been promoted, and she was already taking missions. She could tell that Sano planned on giving her no breaks.. what so ever... The parade that had been thrown for her surprised her a great deal, and then she had had one day of rest, but now she was back to the grindstone. She knew her vacation had been a tad too relaxing. well minus the chunin exams. Although that hadn't been too bad either. She flew through most of it, without even a scratch on her. The only time she actually ran into trouble was when she was pitted against nozomi in a battle. that is the only time she actually took damage during the entirety of the exams. Her lover had put up a good fight indeed, and the whole fight might have gone drastically differently had the two of them actually fought each other from the beginning, and went all out on each other. Who knows what could have happened, but that was in the past now, and nothing could be done to change it. What was done, was done.

Kaekio was laying on her bed, in her nightwear just letting he mind wander aimlessly. her mind drifted back and forth, from one topic to the next. she was mainly avoiding getting out of bed and actually doing the mission that the raikage had assigned to her. it was suppose to be her hardest mission yet, and she had to do it alone. The mission was to track down the troll that had been showing up on the outskirts of town, and terrorizing the people, killing some of them. Her was supposed to track it down and kill it. This thing had torn to shreds and eaten several people already, and it severely injured several more, and she was suppose to kill this thing all by herself. she let out a small sigh. She had managed to make Her Sensei proud of her, but did he put too much faith in her? was she ready for a mission of this caliber? she would soon find out if anything.

Kaekio let out another sigh as she pushed up from her bed and glanced at her clock. The time read 1:32 am. Most people were either just falling asleep, or still asleep. She swung her legs off the side of the bed and stood up with a yawn. She then proceeded to walk out of her bedroom and a crossed her tiny living room, and into her bathroom. Where she then closed the door for reasons unknown to her. No one else lived with her. She locked it, and then stripped down to nothing. Then she stepped into the shower and turn it on. Not too hot, but not exactly Medium either. she let her mind wander once more, as she faded on the brink of sleep while she stood in the shower. After about ten minutes of simply standing there, she shaved herself completely, minus her head. Then Washed her body and her hair, then finally stepped out of the shower. She grabbed a towel from the rack and dryed off, using a second one for her long hair. She then wrapped both of the towels around her, one around her head, and the other around her middle section, covering her private areas, and out some toothpaste on her toothbrush. She walked out of her bathroom, and walked back a crossed her living room towards her bedroom, while she continued to brush her teeth. Once in her bedroom she dropped her towels and searched her closest for her standard every day ninja outfit. she held her toothbrush in her mouth as she put on some underwear and then walked back to the bathroom to spit out the excess toothpaste. Then she rinsed out her mouth, and used some mouth wash as well to make her breathe smell halfway decent. Then she walked back a crossed her living room towards her bedroom once, Each time she entered a room she would close the door behind her. once she was back in her room she located her outfit once more, and then proceeded to put it on. Her blue and black outfit covered her body not a minute or so after, as she proceeded to look for her twin katanas. After about 5 minutes of completely tearing her bedroom apart trying to find them, she found the rusty old blades underneath her bed. Once she had them securely fastened to her back, in an X pattern, like she usually had them, she walked back out into the living room and walked to her small fireplace near the front door. She put some Paper and some kindling in there to help her start a small fire as she lit it with her sparkler justu. Once it was hot enough she through a small log over the top of it in order to start to warm up the house. Once the house became warm enough she got off her couch and then walked into the kitchen in order to make breakfast.

Once she was in the kitchen she walked immediately to her cabinets and grabbed out a small bowl, and a pan. She placed the pan on the oven, but didn't turn it on yet. She grabbed the bowl and walked over to the counter next to the refrigerator, and placed the bowl on it. then she reached up and opened another cabinet, grabbing out a small plate and a cheese grader. then she placed both of those on the counter next to the bowl. Then she finally opened up her refrigerator and grabbed out three eggs and a block of cheddar cheese. Then she began to grade the cheese on to the plate. After a few minutes of doing that, and when she decided that she had enough cheese, she placed the cheese grader into the sink for her to clean later. Then she moved over to the eggs and begin to spin them slowly in her hand, as she gently hit them against the side of the bowl.
Until the eggs had a ring of a crack around them with one spot slightly dented in. She then pressed both of her thumbs on the slightly dented in spot, and separated the shell into 2 halves as the yoke spilling into the bowl. Once she had done that with all three of her eggs, she pulled out a fork and mixed them well, until there was no separation between the too. then she placed the fork in the sink, and Walked the bowl over to the pan, dumping the contents into the pan. She then turned the heat on high, and grabbed a spatula. She cooked the eggs to near perfection, making sure to add pepper and salt at the start, and the cheese somewhere in the middle. Then she scooped the scrambled eggs onto a plate and grabbed herself another fork. She sat down on her couch enjoying the delicious eggs that she had made for herself. Once she was finished, she Brought her plate into the kitchen and did the dishes. then she brushed her teeth once more, before she put out the fire in her fireplace, and grabbed her headband sitting on the Lamp table by the door. She put in on, on her neck today, wanting to try something different. Then she finally stepped out the door.

Kaekio with her full gear on, headed out her door, and down her steps. Then she walked down the road of kumogakure, towards the gate. at the gate she headed into the direction of where the attacks had recently been. She hoped that she could find something out about where these trolls had came from, and where they went when they left. she also intended to find out just how strong of a target she was after, and maybe any potential weaknesses. She walked to the tiny little outskirt village that had reported the most incidences first. Among all of the grieving people she asked them roughly the same question/s, "Did you see the troll?" if no then she would move on and thank them for their time. if yes she would ask them what they looked like, how they acted, where they were coming from, what were they doing here, where did they leave and anything unusual they noticed. For the most part she got roughly the same stuff, a brief general description, big feet, they acted like wild animals, most people said they showed up from out of no where, and simply seemed to vanish. However, some accounts say they saw them leaving towards the mountains, and finally the one bit of information that kaekio only heard from one person was that they seemed to be weary of fire. The man said the if the trolls rounded a corner into a torch, that they would panic and scramble backwards away from it. the man seemed to give the same story as all of the other people, so she figured there was no harm in at least testing out his theory.

So after that brief visit with the she decided to check out the mountain lead that she had been given, and headed up to the forest, that lead to the mountains. it wasn't long before she found massive foot print tracks that lead too and from the mountain. She followed them carefully, making sure to keep her Sensory ability on it's maximum range, in this potentially dangerous area. She trekked forwards slowly, and cautiously. she didn't want to be caught in an unexpected trap that could end with her life on the line. Eventually she began to get further and further up into the mountains. After about mid-day she her Kekkei Genkai finally picked up something inside of a cave that matched her description of her target perfectly. she decided that it would be best to try and step a trap for it, instead of waking it and attacking it. So she set up a few boulders over the top of the narrow path leading down from his cave, and awaited him, constantly keeping an eye on him to know when he was coming.

After a few hours, and at sunset, with kaekio having taken a brief power nap in there somewhere. Kaekio finally felt him begin to stir from his slumber. She felt him get up and walk out of his cave towards the path in which she had laid a trap. She took in one deep breath right before he got into position, and then she pushed the boulders all down. Unfortunately The boulders made a loud noise when falling down, and the troll was accustomed to falling rocks. He punched each one right before it hit his Head, shattering them into tiny pieces, but luckily Kaekio had accounted for this at least. she jumped down with fire in both of her swords, so as he crushed the rocks she was right above him. Once the final rock had been crushed the troll saw only the fire heading towards him. he backed up against the wall, fear controlling the troll's actions. Kaekio Raked down the front of the troll, and locked onto his eletrical signal at the same time. The fear then faded in the troll, and anger took it's place. It went to smash the guy that had just landed. But she knew it was coming, and she was faster. She dodged left as the massive hands Crushed the ground, make a massive crack in it. She jumped forwards, slashing the Troll's neck with both of her blades. She flew in between the arms and the neck of the troll and landed on the opposite side. More Anger surged through the troll but the blood to it's brain was now running thin. Kaekio ran forward in a quick sprint. The Troll attempted to grab her, but he was too slow for her reflexes mixed with her ability to sense his movements. She jumped right before hand. As she was in the air she crossed her blades in an X pattern, and infused them with raiton Chakra. Then when the meet the neck, she uncrossed them, kind of like scissors. The head of the troll went flying off, as she placed both feet on the trolls chest, the right one higher than the left, and kept them there, forcing the now lifeless troll to fall over to the ground, with kaekio now standing on top of him. That was it. She had killed him. it hadn't been so hard in all honesty. she stopped sending chakra into her blades and sheathed them. Then she walked over and collected the head. She would take the prize to Sano in order to prove to him that she had killed the beast. however she left the bodies for the scavengers to pick at. Another body in the dust cloud behind the blue flame of kumogakure.
