Uchiha Susumu
D-rank
It’s been a while that he had seen this scenery. The memories of this place haunt his mind to this very day. The day his father got killed off by the Shinobi of Konohagakure. Standing on the very same spot as his father stood, where he had died. Against that very tree he’s leaning on. Blood nowhere to be found, completely cleaned off and not even the slightest sign that a battle had taken place. His father’s body was a mystery as well. It completely disappeared. They must’ve disposed of it, but what of the eyes? Are they still intact? Did someone take them? These questions crossed his mind in an instant, given the danger that those eyes bring with them. Anyone in possession of those eyes could pose an enormous threat, which is why he was interested in them himself. Not knowing where to begin searching, he figured it’d be best if he found his own strength and carved his own path, completely turning into a different road, opposite of what his father chose. To make it even better, coming out on top as victorious. His eyes twitched at the moment he pictured his father against this tree, covered in blood with a lifeless look in his eyes, in his entire body. Whenever he’d try to remember their faces, it turns blank. As if he zones out for a second because of safety measures. It bothered Susumu. Wanting to know the individuals who took his father’s life devoured him from the inside. His family name isn’t something that he’s interested in, as he’s never grown up in such an Uchiha environment. The only thing that mattered to him was the honor of his parents and to restore it in such a manner, no one would question their existence anymore. He wants to see the world terrified.
With his left hand open, he pushed himself away from the tree, causing it to tremble and a few leaves to fall on his head and beside him on the ground. Slowly but surely, he walked out into the open, away from the place of disgusting memories, to where the full-on battle took place. It was an open field without much cover, beside some of the forest in the area. With his gaze, he scanned the area, as if he was trying to ‘calculate’ how the battle went down. The only thing he remembered was the moment that his father got blown out of the air and crashed into the forest behind him. Within his mind, he attempts to once again remember the faces of the people there, taking the entire scenery into the process to make it more vivid and in detail. “One… Two… Three… Four…” He was only able to count four individuals confronting Uchiha Hao. His concentration began to fade as the memories blurred and the figures within his mind began to fade, back to the original scenery. There was no clue to be found here. For Susumu, however… A grin appeared on his lips, finding it worth to have come back to a rotten place like this. His memories have sparked a twisted flame within both his heart and eyes. The feeling that he had long forgotten. Not able to hold in his laughter, let out a slight chuckle.
