Description: Given all the missions ninja are assigned to--battle, intelligence gathering, diversions--this is a priceless ninjutsu. It is typically used to change into people other than oneself, but one also has the ability to change into animals, plants, and even inanimate objects like weapons; however, the object can be no smaller than 1 foot long in at least one dimension. Despite this, this technique has an abundance of uses. The transformation of a master of this technique (which is generally an Academy graduation requirement) makes the user physically and visually the same as the transformed person or object in question, giving the user the exact mass and physical qualities of whatever they transformed into. This is one of the most basic ninjutsu, as such most shinobi know how to perform it. This technique does not give a ninja the abilities or jutsu of a person they transform into, nor can give the user the damaging ability of a weapon (however, this can be used as a bluff). Sensory techniques can easily pick out someone transformed using this jutsu: the user's chakra would be active, as well as the fact that their biological functions and scent are not masked by this jutsu. Costs 5 chakra on activation, and an additional 5 chakra every other post after that.

Description: Using this technique, the user can create up to five intangible clones that appear physically identical to the user; these are created within 3 meters of the caster. The clones do not disturb the area around them, don't have shadows or body heat, and as such, in applicable situations, ninja can pick them out with varying difficulty. The clone has no physical form, and as such cannot attack. When any foreign presence passes through the clone, be it physical (a fist, a rock, a sword) or an opponent's jutsu, the clone will dissipate. It's mainly used to help mask the user, helping them attack an opponent who is superior at dodging. It costs 5 chakra to create clones.

Description: The Substitution Technique is an age-old skill which enables the user to evade the effects of an attack by switching with an item in the area. (The item---or substantial clone---used for a Substitute must be as large as the user's torso, and must be prepared at least 1 post in advance by infusing it with 5 chakra.) Activating this jutsu for another 5 chakra, the ninja moves at untraceable speed for just a moment, and the item does so as well to take the user's place; the ninja leaves behind a flickering after-image for a second, which, if damaged, releases the chakra which holds it in place in a small smoke cloud, revealing the nature of the technique and the item they have switched with. Higher-rank ninjas' afterimages are able to show some of the signs of natural impact as if it were an actual human, if only for a very short period, before 'poofing'. The user coming out of the technique creates a similar audio and visual cue with a small cloud of translucent smoke and a 'poofing' sound on appearance in the location of the item they Substituted with. This technique causes the user to move at speeds untraceable to human perception, and therefore even the user cannot coordinate attacks during the Kawarimi, or activate any other jutsu. They, however, can maneuver near someone and then attack them after the fast-movement is finished.

Description:A technique taught at the Ninja Academy requiring chakra control. By using Kai, a ninja disrupts their own flow of chakra, then starts it again. This allows a ninja to escape from illusions, provided he or she has figured out that a Genjutsu is active. Ninja can use this ability on their comrades to save them from genjutsu, and possibly other techniques that invade their chakra system. It is possible for this technique to fail, if the user misjudges the power of the genjutsu and does not put in enough chakra to stop their chakra flow.
This is an E-ranked technique, but has variable chakra costs.- Genin: 20 chakra for a D-ranked Genjutsu, 40 for C. Genin cannot dispel B-ranked Genjutsu.
- Chuunin: 30 chakra for a C-ranked Genjutsu, 50 for B. Chuunin cannot dispel A-ranked Genjutsu.
- Special Jounin: 40 chakra for a B-ranked Genjutsu, 60 for A. Toku-Jou cannot dispel S-ranked Genjutsu.
- Jounin: 50 chakra for an A-ranked Genjutsu, 70 for S. Jounin cannot dispel SS-ranked Genjutsu.
- Sannin/Kage: 60 chakra for an S-ranked Genjutsu, 90 for SS. Only Genjutsu that specifically say that they cannot be Dissipated (such as Tsukuyomi) are the exception.
~Kai can dispel multiple genjutsu at once, but only on the user or another person, not both. The highest-rank genjutsu costs the normal amount to Dissipate, then the second costs the normal amount -5, the third -10, and so on. So, if a genin was caught under a C-rank and two D-rank genjutsu, it would cost 40 chakra to dispel the C-rank jutsu, 15 to dispel the first D-rank, and 10 to dispel the second D-rank.

Description: Supernatural Walking Practice is a basic ninja technique. It involves using chakra flow to channel chakra to one's hands or feet, allowing him/her to walk on, or cling to, surfaces that normally do not allow it. This includes, but is not limited to, walls/ceilings, trees, and even water. Should the flow of chakra stop for any reason, the user will immediately fall off of the surface they are walking on, or plunge underwater.

The chakra cost for this jutsu is dependent on the rank of the item being reinforced.- D-Rank: Five Chakra.

Description: This jutsu generates long, fibrous, malleable chakra strings from each of the user's fingers. They are partially intangible to prevent tangling; this jutsu cannot be used to bind people. The condensed chakra takes a hue of variable color depending on the user. Use of this technique on puppets is only available to those with the Kugutsu specialty. However, people without skill in Puppetry can still generate chakra strings to control weapons they have the specializations to wield, within 30m. This consists of whipping them around like a flail or yo-yo, or controlling their path of travel when thrown. Unless durability is enhanced by a separate technique, these chakra strings can be broken by any D rank technique that causes blunt force, cutting, or piercing damage.
This technique cannot control living people; it can only control corpses, or Human Puppets currently in the user's locker.- 3 Types of Strings:

Multiple control:
The chakra strings at this rank are more tailored to controlling the base functions of many puppets as opposed to putting an astounding amount of effort into the control of few. Using this technique depending on the user's rank they are able to control up to 10 puppets, though the trade off is each of them operate at the user's speed and reaction time, -1 rank. (Stat increases from items and jutsu do not count towards this. However, those from clans do.)

Balanced Control:
Using more focused control on the puppets the user wields they are able to focus more into their puppets movement, and therefore they no longer receive the negative influence to their speed that the mass control strings had. However, the puppets still receive -1 to reaction time and less puppets are able to operate at this capacity per rank.

Focused control:
The user, with these strings, is able to literally control their puppets with such mastery as if they were basically human themselves. The concentration at this level requires they dedicate themselves into only one or two puppets, but they operate without any negatives what so ever, and move at the user's speed and reaction times.

Description: Temporary Paralysis Technique is a technique that physically restrains an opponent, as if the opponent had been tied in invisible steel ropes. It debilitates the victim for a short period of time by binding their arms to their torso and chaining their legs together, which allows the user to either strike again, or take the target into custody. This jutsu will only work on people who are below your rank (so a Chuunin using this jutsu could not use it on another Chuunin, but could do so against a Genin). The user of this technique must either state the name of the ability aloud or as form a string of hand seals (Monkey → Horse → Dragon → Tiger → Ox → Rat → Snake). The air around the target will be disturbed very slightly as the "chains" move into place, giving the victim a chance to dodge the technique. This technique can be overpowered with raw physical strength: an individual with C-0 strength can force themselves free, breaking the ability. (Those with D-3 strength can also do so, but it takes a few moments to do so.).

Description: Wind Release: Great Breakthrough is a relatively simple technqiue where the user creates a sudden intense burst of wind. This technique requires no hand seals or physical action to perform, and they can choose which direction the burst of wind shall travel towards. It does however take a few seconds from willing it to happen to the burst of wind occuring, and the burst of wind is always created around the user's body in such a way that the wind hits them too. For example, if you want the wind to fire in the direction you're facing, it will be created behind you, meaning you will be inside the burst yourself. This attack can knock aside any D rank or lower projectiles flying opposed to it as well as greatly improve the velocity of those flying inside of it [travelling at 10 m/s] in the direction of the wind to a maximum distance of 5 meters and can send anyone who is not using Supernatural Walking Practice flying backwards 5 meters. In addition, a katon technique of at least C rank can set this burst of wind ablaze, causing it to form a massive raging torrent and increasing burn effects one degree higher.

Description: This technique allows the user to breathe wind-infused chakra into the palm of their hand, shaping it into a small, whirlwind-like sphere. Then the user will shoot it at their opponent. This technique is very fast and powerful, travelling at 15 m/s in the direction it is shot at. A direct blow to the head will cause a Grade 1 concussion and daze the victim, reducing their movement speed by one rank tier for 2 posts. Impact with other sections of the body can cause major external bruising, as well as shredding the skin of the affected surface, coating it with countless tiny, 1/2 inch deep cuts. Upon activation, only a single sphere is made. Additional spheres can be made at a cost of -5 chakra each, with a maximum of two additional spheres. Each sphere must be breathed into the palm of the user's hand and then tossed. However, additional spheres are only at half power, and must both be used in order to achieve the same effects as the first sphere.

Description: Wind Release: Gale Palm is a technique where the user releases a powerful stream of wind against their opponent. To perform this technique the user merely has to slam the palms of their hands together, holding the pose for at least a second. They then break this pose and immediately thrust the palms of their hands towards the intended target. A powerful gale will fire out from the palms of both hands towards the intended target at 12 m/s. On impact, this gale can send someone flying back 5 metres, as well as shredding clothing and causing countless 1/2-inch deep cuts on exposed flesh. It can easily knock projectiles that clash into it aside, as well as increasing the speed and penetrative power of projectiles travelling within the stream, allowing the weapons to pierce roughly half an inch deeper than normal.

Description: A technique where the user fires a barrage of condensed bullets of air. The user forms the bird hand seal, condensing their chakra into several pressurised spheres of wind that the user spits out in rapid succession towards the opponent. These air bullets are transparent spheres, and are roughly 4 inches in diameter. When fired, they travel at roughly 10 m/s. Direct impact by one of these spheres will knock the victim back a meter, tear through light clothing and cause 1-inch cuts at the point of contact. If a bullet passes near the target (within 4 inches from the edge of the bullet), it can leave small lacerations (1/4 inch cuts) on any exposed flesh it comes near. Three bullets are created upon activation, which must be fired in rapid succession. Each additional bullet costs -5 chakra each, with a maximum of 6 that can be fired in total within the duration.

Description: Shadow Doppelganger Technique creates up to 4 clones of the user. Unlike the regular Bunshin, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each one an equal fraction of the user's overall power. Because they are created this way, even the Sharingan and Byakugan can't distinguish them from the original. The user of this technique must form a hand sign to create the clones, they cannot form them simply by will. The clones will be created in roughly the same physical condition as the original (wounds and buffs/debuffs/special effects present on the user are copied over upon creation); also, the user must equally divide their chakra among the clones, potentially using up all their chakra quickly if the user is low on chakra or makes too many clones. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed. They can also disperse on the user's whim. A characteristic that is unique to the Shadow Clone Technique is that any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. This makes the technique ideal for spying, since the user can simply send a clone to spy on a target, then have the clone disperse itself without returning to pass the information back to the user. Anomalistically, Kagebunshin are immune to the paralytic effects of Genjutsu B-rank and below. The user regains the chakra the clone had if and only if s/he disperses it of his/her own will; it takes a 1 post prep to disperse.
When you create a shadow clone, your chakra is divided among it/them. For example, let's say you're a Chuunin with max chakra. Your current chakra, 200, would be reduced by 20 for the cost of the jutsu; you want to make 4 clones, so your chakra is divided by 5 (you + 4 clones). This gives each clone a fifth of your chakra. So, each clone would have 36 chakra. Being that they are shadow clones, they are each able to perform jutsu themselves; they have their own separate chakra pool, and also follow their own cooldowns for jutsu. Each Shadow Clone has a reserve of stamina; their individual chakra is reduced by an amount appropriate amount to the damage done (E-10, D-15, C-20, B-25, A-30, S-35). The clone automatically disperses when it runs out of chakra, or when hit by any attack that can cause a noteworthy level of physical damage [second/third degree burns, broken bones, stab wounds, etc] If the original uses a technique before creating the shadow clones, the remaining cooldown on the technique applies to all clones created.

Though the technique enhances his physical abilities a lot, the side effects are grim. Once used, he cannot perform any technique unless it is Raiton based and must wait 3 posts before using a Raiton technique, and after using the Raiton technique his physical abilities are dropped 1 full rank.

Targets caught in the jutsu experience an excruciatingly painful shock, forcing them to immediately lose their grip on anything they were grabbing as well as cancel any jutsu they were performing or maintaining. This jutsu can be used in conjunction with suiton, allowing for an increase in range by forcing the raiton to travel along the surface of the water up to 50m.

Retains the near perfect 360 degree vision, as well as the ability to see chakra and the Tanketsu within the bodies of those within a 30m range. At all ranks of the Byakugan, a single blind spot exists at the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertebra. This continues to confer +1 tier Reaction Speed to visual cues.

Description:
Once awakening the clans ability to see the Tanketsu of their opponent, the user focuses their power into their eyes and assumes the gentle fist fighting style, and aims an initiating Juken strike at their opponent, which on impact momentarily stuns them and opens them up for the technique to potentially land, should the opening strike miss, the jutsu attempt is a failure and commences its cool down. However, should the initiating strike land, they are open for the following hits to come, though quick escape techniques can be used to avoid some of the damage, complete avoidance should the initial strike succeed, is virtually impossible.

The user with the power of the Byakugan and chakra flowing through their body aims 32 strikes at varying locations over the victim's body, striking their Tanketsu and limiting their chakra use, making jutsu of B rank and higher unable to be used and reducing the victim's speed by one tier for 2 turns.

The user with the power of the Byakugan and chakra flowing through their body aims 128 strikes at varying locations over the victim's body, striking their Tanketsu and cancelling their chakra use entirely, making jutsu unable to be used and reducing the victim's speed by one tier for 4 turns.

Two A rank or 1 S rank jutsu, however, can be used to penetrate the rotation if used directly.
