Mission: Securing Assets:

Dovy Hozuki was walking down to the docks in the shore side were he would take on his next mission. He's been knocking them out quite often lately, and though they haven't been all that much of a challenge, he did make quite a sum of money. Like a very few D Rank missions, the mission he was assigned to paid 80 ryo! Although, the details were a bit spooky. As Dovy hopped onto the boat that would take him to one of the east islands, he decided to take a peak at his letter once more, describing the mission:

“Dovy Hozuki: Raw metals are needed for the smithies and crafters. There’s an old abandoned mine on one of the islands west of here to collect them. Go and collect 5 to 10 kilos of raw materials from the old abandoned mine, the mine seems to have had an accident some time ago, leaving raw materials lying around after travelling 200+ meters deep. Some say it’s haunted, be careful.”

Dovy laughed to himself. "HA! Ghosts? Ye got to be joking. Theres no such a thing as ghosts." He said out loud in the presence of a few sailors. "Yer a real cocky young lad aren't ye?" A big man with a white beard said. He must have overheard Dovy's remark. "The weeping mines ain't no joke my boy. I've seen some creepy things down thar. Arr." Dovy felt extremely skeptical about this, but still, could this mine actually be haunted? He was eager to find out. So Dovy exited off of the boat and walked his way over to the mine location. It was there that he met the two prospectors who asked for this assistance. "Ahoy! I'm Orville and this be me brother Wilbur. Looks like ye be the lad to help us get back them raw materials from the mines. We got us a few miners down there already, but we sure could use an extra hand. Just don't get spooked." He said with a wink. Wilbur just sat there on a bucket smoking a pipe. Dovy looked at them curiously. "What this ghost story everyone keeps talking about?" he asked. "Oh just the oldest ghost story in the shore side. An old accident happened down there and now the ol' ghosts are haunting the mine. Must' be protecting their booty." He said while Wilbur laughed like an old man. A little freaked out, Dovy picked up a backpack and went on ahead down the abandoned mine.

With a torch in his hand, Dovy was now about 250 meters deep into the mine. He could see many raw materials and scraps that were distributed all over the place! Glass, bolts, screws, iron plates--Dovy knew he had to pick up about 10 kilograms of these materials. So he got on one knee and began to put them into his bag one-by-one. It was dark, and quiet. The only sounds heard were the echoes given off from the metal being dropped into Dovy's bag. "MMMMmmmmMmmm...." Dovy stopped. "What was that?" he thought to himself. "Must be my imagination..." he continued to put the scrap in his bag until he heard something again. This time is was louder and more clear. "Get.... out, please." the voice said. Dovy stopped and took a big gulp of his saliva. "I said... get, OOOUT!!!" the voice yelled and echoed! Dovy quickly took the rest of the scrap metal needed and ran for his life outside of the mines. He dropped the bag on his way out in front of Orville. "HERE, TAKE IT, THERES THE RAW MATERIALS. IM OUTA HERE!!" He yelled in panic and jumped back onto the boat to set sail home, shaking like a baby. "Ye always gotta do that prank, don't ye Wilbur?" Orville said with a smirk, and Wilbur simply laughed to himself with the ol' pipe in his hand.
