Nakashima Ryou

Nakashima Ryou

D-rank
Today Nakashima had decided to take time off from his busy ninja schedule to spend time honing and improving his skills. Today he had chosen to focus on his Katon element. The only problem was he did not know where to go, to train such a thing. After pondering for about and hour and a half he finally decided that he would have to just make a decision and go with it. He had thought about going out into the wilderness as he would need to be away from other to be alone so he could concentrate. Many places came to mind but none seemed to suit the location he so desired. He thought long and hard about a place that would suit him, and then it finally came to him, he could train in the valley of mountains. The valley of mountains was located to the east of the hidden village of stone and was quite secluded. As it was such a big area it was unlikely for him to run into anyone else while he was their. The only thing that came to mind that may have any effect of his concentration would be a few birds flying across the valley or maybe even a few insects, Nakashima paused for a moment and thought to himself. If I can not concentrate with a few birds flying over head or because a few bugs are around then this may be a problem for me. And if that is the case then Maybe I should be focusing more on my concentration then my other skills. After all of this Nakashima finally decided that he would indeed go to the valley of the mountains and with that he set off as it would take him a while to arrive at the location of the valley of mountains.

He packed all the things he belived he would need, such as water and food to keep his energy up, a scroll and something to write with. He also decided to take something to sleep on as he felt that the time it has taken him to decided on everything, half the day had gone to waste. So after he had finally packed everything he needed, checking three times because he knew that he would forget something, he set off. He headed east of the villages as that was the direction of the valley and began to walk at a leisurely pace.

It had taken Nakashima almost one and a half hours to reach the valley of mountains and he still had to travel into the valley to find a suitable location to train, that is when he thought to himself lucky i brought something to sleep on because this will take a while and I might be here until tomorrow. Nakashima followed the winding paths into the valley, he could tell that not all theses paths were traveled very often and some of them even seem to be made by something other than man because they were not wide enough for a normal person to create. As the paths started to wind and become entwined Nakashima began to lose his sense of direction as he usually did. He thought to himself that if he travels to much further he may not be able to find his way out in the end so he decided he had traveled far enough into the valley to begin training and looked for a somewhat open area to begin his training. After following the track for about another hundred meters he finally came to a rest at an area that was about three meters by five meters and sat down to rest for a short period. As he had been walking all day Nakashima decided that he would rest for now and maybe even have something to eat. He had prepared a lunch before he left this morning which he proceeded to take out of his bag and open, he had brought some ramen to eat with a bottle of water. Knowing that he would have to heat up the water for the ramen to taste nicer and not be crunchy Nakashima began to focus on his hand that was holding the water and began to try and heat it. It did not take long for Nakashima to begin to heat the water, and from that he spent about two minutes heating the water to the desired temperature to heat his ramen. Once it was hot enough he poured the water into the cup of ramen and let it sit for three minutes as the packet stated. After this Nakashima quickly devoured the ramen so that he could begin his training. Although he began eating to quickly and burnt his tongue. He was usually to eager like this when it came to ramen.

Once he had completed eating his lunch Nakashima packed all of his things away and pushed them into the corner of the area, he then positioned his body so that it was almost in the center of the area and began his training. He began by thinking about why he wanted to train, he would usually do this to motivate himself so that he could get the most out of his training. He thought about firstly his past, he knew why he wanted to train, so that he could become strong and make his clan one of the strongest clans around again, and because he was the only known remaining member of his clan he knew that it was up to him to do so, and maybe, just maybe if he became strong enough others from his clan would reappear. He also thought of his squad, Riful and his sensei Kazu, he wanted to become stronger than Riful and be the Kage's strongest student and also wanted to one day serve directly under the Kage as one of his legendary sannin. But these goals would not be easily achieved as he knew Riful was also a strong ninja and that there were many others training to become the strongest ninja also. From this Nakashima gained the motivation to train harder than ever, he began to meditate. While meditating all these things would float around in his mind. Nakashima found that although he found it hard to concentrate, meditating came easy to him and from a young age he was able to control his chakra flow whilst doing it.  He had meditated for many hours now and it had began to become dark. Without even realizing Nakashima had meditated for five hours straight, and his concentration was only broken when he heard the crashing of an avalanche no more than one kilometer to the east of him. He decided that that would be enough for today and that he would rest for the night and might explore the avalanche before he left tomorrow morning. He made sure to light a fire before resting to keep away creatures of the night, he then slowly fell into a heavy sleep.

Nakashima awoke the next morning at around six, he got out of his cosy sleeping position and proceed to stretch out his joints with a loud yawn. He stumbled around for a short periods of time and then decided that he would have a shower than explore the avalanche that occurred last night. Feeling refreshed from his bathing Nakashima was full of energy again and quickly gathered all his belongings, quickly ate his breakfast and set of in an easterly direction. Knowing that the avalanche was not far he hurried over there to see what damage had be caused. He also thought to himself that this would be a great time to melt some ice with his katon abilities. With the excitement of being able to train his skills, Nakashima almost ran his fastest one kilometer yet, he raced across the landscape to quickly arrive at the scene. The ice had only just begun to melt when he arrived and so Nakashima thought to himself, it wouldn't hurt to speed the process up any now would it. Nakashima then decided to release his abilities upon the ice firstly using Misty Flame Dance to release gas over the top of the ice, this was then quickly followed by Lightning Rod to create a spark to ignite the gas creating an explosion of heat, with this as it was only weak and didn't last long the ice was not really effected by it and only melt slightly more than it was already. Nakashima decided he would use something a little stronger this time and used his Great Fireball Jutsu. As this ability was stronger and was hotter it melted the ice much more. Nakashima had decided as there was only minimal ice left and more would destroy the landscape below the ice, and as he did not want to do this Nakashima left the area and decided to return home to a nice warm meal and to sleep in his bed tonight as lasts nights sleep was not that comfortable.
