The Wind Valley [Personal Training ~ Fuuton] Wind11_zps6c9258b8

This is a valley of mountains, with many paths leading across the many mountains located at the east of the village. Since there are many paths, it could take a while before you're done sightseeing here. Since it's so deserted here, you might find a few birds flying across the place since they can't bother them there, maybe even a few insects. But who knows. Beware of an avalanche.

The Valley of Mountains, situated within Tsuchi no Kuni's borders and east of Iwagakure, the village of stone. As its name states this monumental landscape holds many paths throughout the Mountains that exist in Tsuchi no Kuni and its size is an understatement of the word vast and monstrous. There have been many rumours that it takes days just to fully explore The Valley of Mountains and many have attempted and failed while so many have said to have lost their lives via avalanche through this rocky and treacherous terrain. It is said this area is said to be deserted due to the dangers that lurk here, ferocious and wild animals tend to hunt in these areas due to the large amount of mountain goats. Bandits have also been spotted in these areas that use it as their camp headquarters due to the well hidden paths that often go unlooked; alongside of these Bandits rumours have been speculating that this very valley is where the notorious Severed Chains lay their roots, deep with the hidden caves of the mountains. The Valley of Mountains isn't all bad though as mountain goats plaque the hillsides eating whatever grass they can. Birds often nest in these areas due to the high amounts of winds and the lack of human touch, allowing the magnificent creatures their freedom.

Many reasons helped in decide Rue's decision to train in the Valley of Mountains and upon the young Genin's plate were many choices on where she could more easily harness the power and feeling of Fuuton - Wind. The choices she had were vast and consisted of The Training Fissure Grounds, a regular place where many Shinobi trained but was much too crowded for her liking. Itami Mountain, one of the highest points in The Wilderness that is Tsuchi no Kuni would have been the perfect place, if not for the large amounts of static energy that resonated at the mountains highest peak, more suited for her Raiton training that would come later on. The Wild West, the most windy area of Tsuchi no Kuni would have been the first choice for the kunoichi if not for the unstable grounding and constant shifting dirt that spread across its dried up landscape, something Rue discovered while on a Mission with another young Genin named Shiro, a mission that required them to capture or kill a bull on which they went with the latter of choices. Even a few of the places with Iwagakure were viable choices but were too crowded and close to the village and Rue needed the room and freedom not to hold back on her techniques, this reason was why she constantly travelled to the Wilds instead of training closer to home.

So after strong debates with herself she decided on The Valley of Mountains, a windy plain that was wide open and held more than enough room to train her Fuuton, Wind techniques. It also would help to familiarise her with her homeland, being a stranger of most areas of Tsuchi no Kuni and only aware of the areas upon the Tsuchi no Kuni border and Village. At the base of a mountain closest to Iwagakure stood Rue, her long locks of golden hair flowing carelessly in the wind as she overlooked the Valleys that surrounded her, allow her eyes to take a mental picture of the paths that winded through the Valley. Hundreds upon hundreds of valleys snaked throughout the area, the Valley lived up to its name to say the least. At the other side of the Valley lay Rue's destination, the highest mountain point in the valley, clouds could be seen dangling just above as the sun shone down upon it as bird lay nested upon its surface.

Without a moment of thought Rue took off down the mountain, she had packed for a three week journey due to both the amount of time it would take her to get there but also because she had decided to stay for a long amount of time, the mountain peak was much too far for her to constantly travel to so if need be she would stay there as long as she could before returning to the Village again. Rue made her way down the snaking path, studying in awe of every detail that made up the rocky yet dangerous landscape, keeping watch in case of a sudden avalanche that would claim her life and it would if she wasn't careful. Travelling had never been Rue's strong points but it was something she were slowly adjusting herself to, every Shinobi travelled long distances and were required to if called upon, even shinobi who were in the pockets of a Kage. Passing a few mountain goats, she had barely even travelled halfway down the mountainside; it was strange how the paths would require her to head down then up once more, miles upon miles of travelling just to end up at the same height distance she was just at, at least that’s how she tried to think of it. Heights were never really something that scared Rue, perhaps in life shes really just wanted to be able to fly, like a bird. Free to roam the land, carried by their magnificient of wings and floating upon the caressing air that flows across the earth. What would it be like to live as a bird? See what they see? hear what they hear? and feel what they feel?.

Day Two of travelling...

Day two held no new surprises for the young Genin, rock after rock after rock, the landscape was starting to become nauseating for the kunoichi and yet she still found the beauty that was etched deep within the rock, for years she had lived within this land but it isn't until you fully explore its landscapes do you truly realise and discover that behind all that which cannot be seen are things that have been hidden for centuries, even this very Valley held its own secrets, a fact Rue had learnt the previous Night when the rocks seemed to whistle. Searching for the noise she discovered the within the Valley lay many deep tunnels leading throughout and when the wind blows through it creates a symphony of sound that is somewhat soothing.
