“I will kill you,” Fuyuki read out loud.

He stood in front of a wall of a large building somewhere to the southern Konoha districts, where a large painting had been placed. Various words and profanities littered the surface, written in a large variety of colours, and some combinations that Fuyuki felt were disappointing to get rid of.

However, it was his mission. He had been contracted to stop the prankster from putting up anymore graffiti in the neighbourhood, and he would do so. The boy had been going from district to district, putting up his interesting graffiti up for all to see. Some found it hilarious, other's found it entertaining, while the rest, mostly the old folk who didn't enjoy seeing the once beautiful village of Konoha be tainted in such a way, and by such a young and disrespectful boy, for that matter.

Fuyuki looked to his right, where another sentence had been sprayed out. 'Konoha and Kiri sitting in a tree?' he thought.

He was about to read the one to his left, when suddenly, his ears perked up at the familiar sound of the spraying of paint.

He had initially come to this area to try and search for clues, and had merely been distracted by the art on the wall. He thought that he could gain some insight as to who the boy was and then track him down from there, only to get caught up in the boy's artwork in the process.

Fuyuki had definitely not expected to be so close to the culprit.

His legs took him to the sound of the spraying fast, where he saw a figure spraying something on the wall, with spray cans hard at work in each of his hands. A grin was seen plastered on the boy's face as he drew who-knows-what on the wall of, if Fuyuki was not mistaken, a poor old woman's house.

“Hey!” he called out.

The boy looked at him in shock, surprised that he had been found out and caught in the act, and dropped both spray cans. Then, to Fuyuki's surprise, though it shouldn't have been since it was in the mission registry, the boy jumped onto the roof of the old woman's house and began making his way off.

Fuyuki gritted his teeth, berating himself on his carelessness at letting himself be found out so quickly that the culprit had time to escape. He should have also kept in mind that the boy was a talented, if somewhat brought up in the wrong way, Academy student, and was already proficient with many of the techniques that only matured Genin would take to.

One day, the boy would no doubt grow up to be a wonderful and talented shinobi, maybe even a prodigious one if his nature, as described by his teachers at the Academy when Fuyuki went there to gather up some information, was anything to go by. But until the boy learned maturity, discipline, and responsibility, Fuyuki was sure that the boy would be only a brat and nothing more in his eyes, and that of the village's.

Fuyuki channeled chakra to his legs, and let it all out in one burst beneath his feet as he leapt upwards. The sudden burst of chakra, as well as the strengthening of his muscles at the point where the chakra collected, enabled him to jump onto the roof. With that, he directed a miniscule amount of chakra towards his feet to speed up his run, aware that he could very well lose the boy with his head start and supposed prowess in the ninja arts.

Fuyuki's concerns were uncalled for. The boy, when attempting to jump to another roof, sent too much chakra into his feet, causing him to shoot backwards and straight into Fuyuki's arms, where he found himself caught. Struggle as he might, Fuyuki was still years older than him, and had strength and experience to back him up.

“Got ya',” Fuyuki grinned.
