Zetsume Zix

Word quickly reached Zetsume of a Kiri ninja inside of his village. He had never met anyone from another nation in his life. Usually he stayed within the confides of his home. Why venture out when people here needed him. That was the way he saw it. Zetsume had little information on the ninja other than his name, YuuDai. His name pronounced was interesting, Zetsume hoped he would not die meeting this fellow. This could be an interesting time to meet someone else from another village. He did not know how many chances he would really get to meet someone else. Zetsume got his gear together and sent a messenger to find YuuDai, and ask him if he wished to have some lunch. Zetsume always loved Chicken Lo Mein and he knew just the spot. It was a small shop just on the gates of Kumogakure. Some people came there just for the noodles. Zetsume would await to see if the ninja would respond to his message.

A messenger had informed him earlier that a shinobi of Kumogakure no Sato wished to meet him, which was interesting to say the least. He hadn't thought any one would personally seek him out; just for a matter of having lunch. He did not know much of the shinobi of the Village Hidden in the clouds, so this one could possibly help him for the reason he decided to trek out to another village. The only thing that the messenger had decided to inform him about would be of the name of the Kumogakure Jounin who had invited him to lunch. Zetsume Zix was the one that sought him and and given him the location of where he wished to meet. It still perplexed him as to why he was being sought out. He knew his way back to the village gates, leaving Suichi back at the hotel, as the penguin had decided to take a nap instead.

He made his way out of the hotel, vaguely recalling the way back to the village gates, as he had stepped through them a few days ago. His trip so far had been interesting to say the least. He couldn't exactly put words to it, describe exactly what occurred, but maybe it would fix itself eventually. Taking his mind off of other events, Yuudai took a turn on to the pathway that would lead him closer to the village gates, to the destination that Zetsume; or rather the messenger, had told him about. He'd be there in a matter of minutes, so long as he never lost his way heading there. Kumogakure no Sato's scenery and atmosphere were completely different than Kirigakure's, the one he was used to. When he reached the intended location, he stood outside the shop that he was supposedly going to, as he was unaware of the physical appearance of the one he was looking for.

Zetsume got himself a drink while he waited for the Kiri ninja. Like most people, he enjoyed warm tea in the cold weather. It seemed to make it less brutal than it was. Zetsume had no idea if the man would show up at all. It was not long until someone who obviously looked like they did not belong, walked toward the destination that Zetsume had planned. He had purple hair and blue clothes, Zetsume could tell he was a kenjutsu user by his weapon of choice. Zetsume waited a second to make sure that it was the right guy before walking up and talking to him. After a few seconds to make sure he was looking for Zetsume, Zetsume made his presence known. He walked casually towards the Kiri ninja with his tea warming his hands. It would have been really awkward if it was not him. Zetsume spoke in a friendly tone towards him and a smile on his face as to not cause any quarrel with him.

"Are you the Kirigakure ninja named Yuudai?"

Where was this person that had called him to meet at this shop? Sure, he hadn't asked, but the messenger clearly left before he could provide the proper information needed for Yuudai to actually find this individual. He'd just have to wait for this Zetsume Zix person to find him. As he left his senses wondering, Yuudai let his eyes roam the area around him, soaking in the appearance of Kumogakure no Sato. Minor details could be similar to Kiri, though everything as a whole was clearly different. The sounds, the smells, the people. They were all similar yet different at the same time. He was able to pick out the vast differences, though that may be attributed to his standardized sense to the environments of Mizu no Kuni.

Noticing movement, a person, moving towards him, Yuudai's eyes shifted towards the individual. Was this person the one known as Zetsume? Brown hair, black and white clothing. Nothing that really stood out. It was probably the person whom called him to meet here. Then again, it could also be a total stranger just walking past him. "Are you the Kirigakure ninja named Yuudai?" Maybe it was him, this Zetsume character. With an imperceptible nod, Yuudai answered, "I am. I presume you are the Zetsume the messenger spoke of? I am curious as to why you called me here." Better to get to the point than to dance around it. He really needed to find someone who could possible aid him in his quest for a teacher, yet he'd have enough time to do so if other things did not presumably get in his way.

There was a look of relief on Zetsume's eyes when the ninja that he spoke to was indeed the one he asked to meet. He was obviously on a different power level by the way he held himself, he looked like he has see battle enough times. It was mostly in his eyes. They held some sign of sorrow inside of them. Then again he could be wrong, he has not really spent enough time around people to accurately read them like most people can. Being alone takes it's toll on people, even Zetsume. The ninja before him spoke in a simple tone that really held no emotion, "I am. I presume you are the Zetsume the messenger spoke of? I am curious as to why you called me here."

Zetsume smiled in a friendly way before responding to him, "Well, you see I have never met someone else from another village. When I heard that you were here, I had to seek you out. You see, I enjoy to spar and to learn things from people. The reason I brought you here was because it is my favorite place to eat in this fine village. I was going to invite you to have lunch if you were hungry, and after that would you indulge me in a small spar? I am sure someone of your caliber would have no quarrel with it."

Zetsume did not really know how he would respond to it. Maybe he would decline the offer and just walk away. Zetsume wished he didnt though. He needed to learn more about the ninja world than he does now. Sure he is a great shot, but he needed something more..... Something stronger and he hoped that this ninja named Yuudai would provide him with the answers he seeks.

ooc||Sorry for the short reply

This Zetsume character, he was different, but that fact could be said about every single individual to walk the earth. He couldn't expect much from others, especially considering he never actively went out to seek individuals whom he never interacted with, be it strangers from his home or travelers. And inviting a complete stranger to lunch? He only recalled it happening once, maybe twice before. A spar would be nice, but that wasn't his purpose here, he'd rather focus on his goal, the reason why he had taken a trip to Kumogakure no Sato. Lunch, he supposed he could accept the invitation. It wouldn't kill him to take the offer either. Though, he had eaten prior, since he was unaware of the invitation that would eventually reach him. "I'm not particularly that hungry, but I guess I could eat a light meal. A spar, while interesting, isn't particularly what I'm looking for, nor the reason I came here, so I'll have to decline that for the time being. Though, I do need to find an individual who could possibly help me." He kept his usually calm demeanor present, though he felt maybe he was being too open at the moment, but he doubted he'd see this character after he left Kumogakure and returned to Kiri. Showing a bit of friendliness could also potentially help him in the future, so it benefited Yuudai as well.

OOC: Sorry for the late/short reply.

Not only did he decline the sparring match, it seems he was not really inclined to eat with him either. Zetsume stood there with an emotionless face as he listened to him. He really wanted to test his worth against someone from another village. This was his chance and it seemed that the one named Yuudai, was not interested. Though something he did say help him on what to say next. Usually Zetsume was not socialable around people he did not know, yet he was trying hard to not really show it.

Find an individual? What is he looking for?, he thought while slightly sipping up his jacket from the cold wind. Zetsume really did not know as many people in his village that he would like. He was always one to help from the shadows and not really accepting praise. It was not in his nature to have an ego, since he was a child he was always told he could be better, faster, smarter. These words from his father always haunted him to the point it made him strive to be stronger. Whenever words of praise towards him was given he would only nonchalantly shrug it off while thinking he could have done more. Yet, maybe he can help this ninja. Zetsume kept eye contact with the ninja as he spoke, which let his green tinted eyes shine in the sun.

"Well, maybe you could tell me who you are looking for. Who knows maybe by some sheer luck I know exactly who you are seeking. Though I can not make any promises, nor do I want to get your hopes up. So who are you looking for?"

He knew that the sooner he found a person that could help him out, the sooner he could leave Kumogakure and return home. He couldn't leave without trying, and finding such a person would severely help him that he'd rather take a little while longer to find a specialist. Then again, he also had a reason to return to Kirigakure a bit earlier than intended, even if he had been told not to. Lunch would be trivial matter, as he'd rather be searching for a person that could potentially aid him in his personal quest. Maybe this Zetsume's offer of helping him could make his stay in Kumogakure proceed faster, allowing Yuudai to return home sooner than expected. That is, if he was able to help.

A small breeze carried his hair as he looked at Zetsume, trying to see if there were any alternate intentions held by the man. It was his wariness, something that remained with him around people he never interacted with, or rarely did. Suspicions were always lingering for the Aisu, but at the same time, Yuudai knew that sometimes he was far too cautious. As the short breeze died down, Yuudai turned his head to look past Zetsume, mainly just to scan the surroundings. It would be at least helpful in his personal quest to answer the Kumogakure shinobi. "I'm looking for a person who specializes in the field of genjutsu. I would have sought out a teacher in Kirigakure, but I supposed that having the view of another person, one I was not acquainted with would have helped me greatly. That, and there weren't many viable teachers in Kiri. If you could guide me towards a suitable person, that would be appreciated. As that was the reason of why I came here." It was his usual calm and distant tone he spoke with, this character was a stranger, there was no familiarity between him and anybody he knew of. Also, being in a different village was a new experience, an odd one, but new.

Zetsume did not really like people from outside of his village. It was his stupid pride that made sure of it. He was unsure as to how to help the man named Yuudai. Indeed Zetsume did know a genjutsu user, and it was himself. Teaching someone these arts that was from another village worried him. He did not like the idea that this man could become an enemy tomorrow, and possibly kill the people he has sworn to protect with the very teaching that he taught. This all did not set in well with his mind.

Maybe he could teach me something in return. That way we both get stronger....., he thought while stuffing his hands into his leather jacket. Zetsume cocked his head to the side before speaking again, "If you could tell me why you are seeking out a genjutsu user, I can find you one within minutes. I know almost everyone in this cold ass village, finding one should be easy."

Zetsume had to ask the ninja this. He wanted to make sure that his intentions were not unholy. Zetsume did not want blood on his hands that should not be there. Teaching this man genjutsu made him feel uneasy, almost like a cold chill.

Did this man enjoy speaking in circles? Yuudai wasn't exactly sure what he was speaking of, though it may be attributed to his lack of communication with others. Didn't he state he was looking for a teacher? What other reasons were there for him to seek someone out that was knowledgeable in the field of genjutsu? Yuudai, thinking, looked out of the corner of his eye to scan the person before him. Maybe he would be better off finding someone else. This clearly would waste the limited time he had in the village, it wasn't like he could amass an attack on the village solely by himself, not that he would ever do such a thing. It just wasn't in him to do any of those things and bring harm to the name of Kirigakure.

"I think I can manage finding someone on my own. If not, I think I may be able to find someone in Kirigakure. I'll be taking my leave now, and I think I may be able to find someone from my own abilities. However, thank you for the offer anyways." With a small nod of acknowledgement, Yuudai turned away from the man and the bistro, facing the direction he came from and began to make his way back to the hotel for the time being. He'd continue his search after greeting Suichi once again.
