Isamu sat back against the hard wall of the bunker, bored with the silence and tired of the recycled air. His sensei, whom he hadn't seen in weeks, asked to meet him there, so he left first thing in the morning to please the man. He had only been in here one other time, when he was training alone; he had practically flooded the place, but it seemed to be fine now. He yawned and stood, proceeding to stretch a bit, and fix his hair. It was something to do, at least.

Isamu wondered why his sensei needed him. He had been promoted to Chuunin quite a while ago, and with the rank came a sense of outgrowing his squad. He still saw them as friends, but since he never really went on missions or anything with them, they weren't really squadmates. Yuudai was different, though; he had helped Isamu learn a lot in the little time they had spent with each other. So, he continued waiting patiently, in hopes of doing some sort of cool ninja-business with his sensei.

There wasn't any particular reason for Yuudai to call one of his three squad members to this particular location. The reason he chose Isamu over the other two were simple; he showed dedication and strive for being a shinobi, resulting in the white haired boy being a chuunin. With his katana resting lightly between his body and sash, he knew today would be fun, or at least for himself. He was going to push the boy while completing his own training, though his was basic while he wanted Isamu to improve greatly. In his left hand rested a water bottle full of water, something that he'd need for the majority of today's personal training.

The misty salvage would provide the boy to attack him in close quarters, thus making him have to surprise Yuudai in his offense. Yes, he wanted this to be an actual training session, though first thing came first. A bit of a warm up, and possibly practice with other skills that the boy needed to improve upon. Though, Yuudai would mainly be able to help him with his ninjutsu and his affinity with Fūton. Walking through the empty halls, he allowed his footsteps to echo throughout, signifying to anyone that he was here. As he turned a corner, he spotted the person he had called here today. With gentleness he spoke, "Isamu, how have you been?" Uncorking the cap to the water bottle, Yuudai allowed the bottle cap to fall to the ground, storing the location in his mind to remember to pick it up later on. Slowly, almost unnoticable to the eyes, Yuudai began to mold the water within the bottle, as if trying to form a jutsu with it, though he did not know any made of pure suiton to date, as he focused more upon Hyouton and Fūton techniques so far.

Isamu stayed against the wall as Yuudai entered the bunker with a blank expression. He had a water bottle in hand, which Isamu noted, and said, "Isamu, how have you been?" Isamu smiled and replied, "I'm good, sensei. How have you been? It's been weeks since we've seen each other." Yuudai dropped the cap of the bottle, and the noise of the soft plastic clanking against the metal of the floor ringed in Isamu's ears as he noticed the water in the bottle begin to shift and move around, like waves. Yuudai had to be planning something here, he was being far to casual, compared to when they had least seen each other at the bath house. Isamu decided to get a leg up on the training session that he had just realized was in effect, and spat a massive amount of water, flooding the bunker within seconds. While Yuudai was floating in the water, and still caught off-guard, Isamu charged forward.

Suddenly, he realized that Yuudai was a jounin. Obviously, being two ranks higher than Isamu was, Yuudai was holding a few tricks up his sleeve, and a flood of water and a simple medical jutsu probably wouldn't have the devastating effect Isamu expected. He continued through with the strike, hoping that it would at least slow Yuudai down a bit. He held out his left hand, glowing with chakra, aimed at Yuudai's torso in a sort of jab-move. If the hit made contact, Isamu will have had the advantage that he needed in this training....

Not bothering to offer a reply to Isamu at this particular moment, as he felt that he could make this training session become a bit more fun and interesting with the chuunin, Yuudai held off on offeriing how he had been for the previous week or so. He hadn't done anything too drastic, except pick up a few jutsu which seemed too deadly to use in such an environment, but if used correctly would certainly help Isamu with his. By using them at a safer distance, he'd be able to keep the chuunin on his feet, just what he was planning on doing. With the cap hitting the ground, the sound echoed through the empty halls of the Misty Salvage, which was quickly drowned out by the sounds of waves; waves produced by Isamu through the use of a jutsu. Waves that also happened to take the purple haired man off his guard, something he was glad that the chuunin was able to do off the bat. The moment of shock was enough for Isamu to get within close enough range to deliver what looked like a blow using one of the various aspects of medical ninjutsu.

He hadn't had enough to prepare getting his wits about by the time Isamu had sprinted towards him, though this would probably be a one off thing, unless he could somehow manage the same combo once again. Drawing out the water from the water bottle,  the plastic container that held the clear liquid escaped Yuudai's grasp and fell in to the newly created body of water. The water from the bottle had decided to join the water that flooded the area, thanks to the force of gravity along with Yuudai's momentary stagger. With the quick jab that the white haired boy was delivering, and not having time to dodge like he usually would anticipate, Yuudai took the blow coated in medical ninjutsu. Upon contact, he could feel the muscles in his body tightening, knowing that it would have an effect on his physical performance, no matter how significant.

Surprisingly enough, Isamu managed to have both of his jutsu keep Yuudai down for a bit. The water around him was splashing loudly and water was getting into his eyes, slightly blurring his vision, so he swam to the surface and stood on it, looking down at Yuudai. He didn't have much time before the initial stun of the wave would wear off; he'd have to make another move, fast. He could use a jutsu, but it wouldn't be too wise as the water would dissipate most of an offensive technique's effectiveness. He wasn't very good at close-quarters combat, either, so he decided to play it safe, and stayed in his position atop the waves.

Isamu remembered that he had brought his hummingbird, Kuremachisu, with him, and he used his kekkei genkai to give her a bit of healing water to carry in her mouth. "Good, now go and land on that perch near the ceiling. When I get hurt, drop the water onto me." he whispered. She fellowed his order and flew to the ceiling, landing on a small ledge there and looking down. Isamu hoped that Yuudai wouldn't attack too wildly....

To say he was surprised that Isamu never followed up on his technique wouldn't be the exact words out of Yuudai's mouth. He did expect the boy to follow up on his movements, but when he had not, there wasn't much else Yuudai thought about it; except for the fact the boy remained wary. It was a smart move after all, even if this was a training session, Yuudai wanted to feel as close to real combat as possible, thus he knew he'd only have to hold back enough not to cause the white haired boy to lose a limb or worse. Still somewhat drowned in the water, the ice specialist made the simple choice of choosing to swim to the surface, proving to be a bit difficult than normal due to his muscles tightening, but did not hinder him too severely. As he was beginning to get the majority of his body out of the body of water, Yuudai pushed chakra down to the soles of his feet, which would allow him to stand upon the indoor river.

On his feet, Yuudai allowed a rare smirk to appear on his face as he turned to gaze at his squad member and current training partner. Even though they were on different skill levels and completely different ranks, Yuudai knew he'd get enough out of this training session to improve his capabilities with suiton, something the Isamu's Exploding Water Colliding Wave jutsu aided in. "I've been well Isamu. I've been able to learn a few techniques since the last time we met." Something rare for Yuudai, but seemingly fitting in with his personality was his dry sense of humor, something that felt like taking over. "You know, this should be a fun sparring session. Don't you agree? I hope it's to your liking." While he wasn't one for needless violence or barbaric training sessions, Yuudai knew he'd be taking precautions not to severely injure Isamu with his higher ranking techniques. With a casual gleam in Yuudai's eyes, the usual coldness not there, Yuudai formed a quick hand sign, causing three needles made of ice to appear in front of him, which he quickly grabbed and threw in rapid succession at Isamu.

"I've been well Isamu. I've been able to learn a few techniques since the last time we met. You know, this should be a fun sparring session. Don't you agree? I hope it's to your liking." Isamu listened to his sensei, noticing an unusually cheery gleam in the man's eyes. This wasn't like Yuudai; maybe he was finally warming up to Isamu. Taking a pause to double check his surroundings, Isamu replied,"It is so far. I haven't had a training session in a while, it's nice when you're working with familiar faces." Suddenly, Yuudai threw a series of needles, formed of pure ice crystals. The Aisu clan's Ice Release. Isamu had completely forgot about this, and had to react quickly. He formed a string of hand seals, and launched three large bullets of air in the same direction, smashing through the needles and heading for Yuudai.

While waiting for the technique to land, he sprinted across the water, so that he could be on Yuudai's left side, and activated a clone technique. Two more figures, all looking exactly like Isamu, appeared next to him, and they ran toward Yuudai. That covered him, for the most part: bullets approaching in front of him, two walls blocking him off from the sides, and clones running towards him. Isamu took a moment to plan out his next move; his lack of ninja supplies and limited jutsu library didn't give him too long, hopefully the wind bullets would do their job and do some damage, as minimal as it would be.

"It is so far. I haven't had a training session in a while, it's nice when you're working with familiar faces." Isamu's speech was enough to fit in before Yuudai's pure ice needles went on their course to strike Isamu. There wasn't much use for the needles he had thrown, more than anything, he wanted to use them to test out the reflexes of the younger male. Knowing that he'd used a jutsu to deflect his irrelevant attack, Yuudai had to be wary of the incoming bullets of air that were headed his way. While Yuudai may be trapped, there was a simple way to escape this situation which was relatively obvious to most in the same situation.

Waiting until the last few second he had before would inevitably be hit, Yuudai was able to substitute with the item he was holding earlier; the water bottle. With the member of the Aisu clan now out the corner, being replaced by the water bottle, Yuudai stood behind Isamu by 15 meters. With chakra still being pushed down to his feet, keeping himself elevated above the water, Yuudai was thinking about the next technique he would use in order to keep not only himself, but Isamu on his feet. With one hand; his left, Yuudai began to mold a bit of water out of the body of water, practicing his affinity with suiton. "You do know, sometimes cornering an opponent is never the best idea. They may have a more lethal way of escaping than I just did." As created the clones and began sprinting towards his previous location, Yuudai kept his gaze at the water below his feet. Isamu finished com He may as well teach him about his mistakes, as they would not be enemies with their loyalty to the village. Putting his right hand on the hilt of his katana, which was located just below his right arm like usual, Yuudai kept his attention just above the shoulder of Isamu. "Remember, against a stronger opponent, one who won't hold back, you'll have to be creative in the ways you approach them. Unless, you don't want me to hold back. His statement had given Isamu an indication of how he felt about his current prowess and strategizing, and also left the incentive for Isamu to attack him once again open.

Isamu had little doubt in his mind that Yuudai wouldn't substitute his way out of the attempt at cornering him. He was running out of ideas, here, and he watched as the water bottle was obliterated by the bullets of air, and his two clones faded away as they collided with the wall. Now, what to do...what to do....Yuudai calmly looked at Isamu from their safe distance, saying, "You do know, sometimes cornering an opponent is never the best idea. They may have a more lethal way of escaping than I just did.""Remember, against a stronger opponent, one who won't hold back, you'll have to be creative in the ways you approach them. Unless, you don't want me to hold back" Isamu quietly nodded, listening to his sensei's words. Why the hell hadn't he bought any ninja tools before he came here....? He supposed he didn't know for sure that Yuudai would be hands-on training him, but still. Honestly, the last technique that he had that Yuudai hadn't seen was Basilisk Mending, and he knew that if he used that, Yuudai would need surgery.

"Actually, sensei, I don't really want you to hold back. Give me all you've got, I need to learn how to fight in real battles." WHY the hell did he say that!? Isamu immediately regretted the statement, and stepped back, making a dragon hand seal. He would have to use Basilisk Mending to fight back against Yuudai, and he only had enough control over it to use it once or twice....once again, he waited for his sensei's response.

With his right hand drawing out his katana, he slowly drew out the sheathed weapon with a hidden gleam in his eyes. Isamu's last comment of allowing him not to hold back certainly would make this interesting, though Yuudai would certainly take precaution not to injure the white haired chuunin too severely. "Sometimes asking for more than you can chew doesn't help out too much in the long run. But, since you want this, I guess I may as well turn this sparring session up a notch." Speaking more than he usually did seemed a bit off, but since he had some sort of connect to Isamu; being his squad leader, Yuudai guessed it was natural to take on the figure of a leader to him. Knowing that he'd be trying to keep his left hand preoccupied with handling the water he continued to mold in a spherical shape, nothing he'd use as an attack, Yuudai knew this self-handicap that he involved would certainly make things interesting.

"I suppose we could start off with a bit of the warm up, after all, you did initiate before anything else." The hidden gleam began to become less transparent over time. Rotating his katana in his hands, in a way which would cause the non-sharpened edge to become the point of contact if he were to strike his sparring partner, Yuudai began to take off in a full off sprint, the chakra still being pushed to his feet. If he wanted to, the member of the Aisu clan; the ice element specialists, could simply use the sharpened edge, but his goal wasn't to injure Isamu in today's training session. The molded ball of water, the result of chakra being used in his left hand, continued to stay in the area around his left hand, floating slightly above his palm, as his left arm faced away from his body, with his left palm facing up and away from Isamu. As he approached his target, a target he didn't want to harm to much, Yuudai took his blade and attempted a slashed accross his body, the tip of his blade would leave a cut if it landed, though nothing too severe for a medical ninja to handle, even a genin would be able to mend the wound. Following up, Yuudai would take another slash across the body, this one travelling across the opposite direction of the first attack.

Yuudai charged at Isamu, blade in-hand, slashing across the boy's torso. Isamu dodged the expert slash, only to find another in the opposite direction hit him. A small cut ripped through his shirt, and the wound bleed just a bit. He took a moment to throw a weak punch at Yuudai, not even bothering to notice if it made contact before he released his Supernatural Walking Practice and jumped into the water. He swam to the bottom, his pure white hair flapping in all directions, as he looked back up to his sensei. Make a few hand signs, and began to form water from his Kekkei Genkai into his mouth once again. This time, he held it, and used another clone technique to give Yuudai 4 illusions of himself at the bottom of the water, so that the real him would be a masked silhouette.

He carefully debated which angle to blast the water out from, but decided to wait on Yuudai to attack first before launching it, so that he'd have a better chance of hitting.

As his first strike missed, the second easily managed to cut the Maeda boy across the chest, drawing a small trickle of blood. He hadn't expected his to have dodged the first strike, but surprisingly he had. Usually Yuudai would use his left hand when he wanted to use his katana, but giving himself practice with his other arm would also be useful in future situations as well. Instinctly, Yuudai shifted his bodyweight slightly to his right, as Isamu's frail punch whiffed on nothing but air. Throwing a weak punch, usually as a feint paid off on most occassions for others, but a follow up was needed to make the most of it, something Isamu had forgone in order to hide within the depths of the water he created minutes ago. A few seconds later, there were four additional silhouettes deep within the water, easily distinguishable as clones. A smirk appeared on Yuudai's face as he continued to look down.

Not entirely sure if Isamu could hear him, Yuudai began to speak, informing Isamu of the mistakes he clearly made. "Isamu, I'm disappointed. You should know that hiding yourself within water can place you within a bad situation, unless you have an out. That, and you are facing a member of the Aisu clan. While we are loyal to Kiri, you should know about your opponents strengths and weaknesses. Water can easily be froze, like such." Channeling Hyōton chakra to his feet, a layer of ice began to form right under Yuudai's feet, traversing the distance of five meters in all directions. The water around slowly began to freeze, an inherent nature of Hyōton chakra. "While this is a lower ranking Hyōton jutsu, just think of could have possibly occurred if a more potent jutsu was used." Resheathing his katana, Yuudai brought his left hand close to eye level, inspecting the ball of water as he waited for Isamu to emerge from the water.

Isamu stayed underwater and watched as a layer of ice covered a five meter distance the water's surface, making it near impossible to escape. He sighed and swam to the surface, punching through the ice with his toughest punch (which still wasn't very tough at all). He then climbed out of the frozen-over water and laid himself out on the surface, breathing heavily as he called out, "Yuudai-sensei, I'm not strong enough. I've been faltering from my duties as a ninja; I've mostly been doing medical missions, and I haven't trained at all for a long time. Can you teach me how to fight..?" 'twas true, this was his first real battle aside from the one with Sato. He had already used all of the techniques he knew against Yuudai, except for one....

Suddenly, the water began to flood its way out, dissipating. Looked like the Exploding Water Colliding Wave was wearing off. Kuremachisu flew down as Isamu stood, and she landed on his shoulder. She spit the water from before onto the cut on his chest, and the cut slowly closed, healing through within seconds. She chirped happily as Isamu kept eye contact with his sensei, hoping for a 'yes'. He needed to know more about jutsu in general before he could hope to use more useful ones.

Waiting a few moments on the newly created sheet of ice, he waited for his student to emerge from the water. Moments later, Yuudai felt a small vibration begin to rise in the sheet of ice. So, he was coming out of the water and from the pace Isamu took, Yuudai realized it was already over. So much for getting more out of today's session. As a hole appeared in the ice, a result of Isamu's punch to Yuudai's jutsu, Yuudai stared at the hole that Isamu would emerge from. To say he was disappointed was one thing, he expected more out of the boy, after all, he was now a chuunin. Though, Yuudai didn't know much about what was expected out of a chuunin, as he had progressed too fast for him to have a grasp at comprehending the rank that Isamu is classified under.

Redirecting his gaze once again to the floating ball of water, completely ignoring looking in Isamu's general direction as he spoke of wanting to get better, he knew exactly what to say. "You say you want to get better, yet here you could barely hold your own. Sure you may have another trick or two up your sleeve, but if you choose to not use them, you'll never know how to get better. Besides, its much easier to learn through experience than through explanations. We could go through countless explanations and what you could possibly do when faced in such a situations, but what do you learn from that? Experience will always remain one of the best ways to learn how to improve." As he was wrapping up his miniature ramble, the water around them began to dissipate, a sign of the jutsu wearing off. At this moment, Yuudai cut off the chakra in his feet; both for his Hyōton jutsu and his earlier use of Supernatural Walking Practice. The ice disappeared as Yuudai and Isamu reached the end of their downward descent to reach the floor.

Now looking back at his supposed student, Yuudai took a quick glance at the bird before looking at Isamu. Letting out a sigh, Yuudai supposed he could give in and help him learn, as he had decided to train and there was nothing else he could possibly do; besides laze about. "How would you suppose I teach you how to fight? I'll leave the choice up to you, though be specific in what you want to do."

Isamu looked quietly at his sensei as he said, "How would you suppose I teach you how to fight? I'll leave the choice up to you, though be specific in what you want to do." Thinking for a moment, he wondered how exactly he could become a better ninja. All he'd ever done was heal and mess with the nervous system; even his strongest jutsu possessed healing properties. How would he learn to become an offensive medical ninja? His mastery of Fuuton could be key. Suiton was a simple enough element, but Fuuton definitely had more potential. He looked back at his sensei, and replied, "Teach me any Wind-based Ninjutsu you know. I need a larger repertoire of techniques to choose from so that I can have a tactical advantage in fights."

Isamu processed a few more thoughts before continuing, "I've never been the violent type, I'm a healer. I need to change that mentality; so, in addition to teaching me a few wind jutsu, teach me how to be a fighter." it was as simple as that. He never really thought about killing people; he had committed one crime in his life, and that was graverobbing, but he had only done so in hopes of furthering his healing skills. He knew that he didn't have the strength nor the will to ever kill someone, and you had to be willing to kill as a ninja to become a decent one. Was he even cut out to be a ninja? He couldn't tell, himself. He swished water in his hand in an orb as his chakra flowed erratically. Yuudai couldn't teach him everything, so he'd have to fit in some training at home, as well.

He looked back to the purple-haired man, who stood across from him, and awaited a response. Kuremachisu chirped happily and began to fly around the bunker, playing with fallen screws and rusty steel chips.

Taking a moment before replying to Isamu's request, Yuudai thought of all the possible routes he could take to aid the boy in his training. Sure, he'd have to stop his current training, or at least the original plan he had in mind. Before that however, he wanted to pose Isamu a challenge before he would agree to help him in his training. "You know, that would change the entire concept behind what I wanted to accomplish today. So, I have a proposition. I'll show you a few Fūton jutsus while you attempt to make me drop the water I'm molding right now. The only way I'll defend myself is through the use of Fūton techniques and possibly a Suiton technique for my personal benefit, so you can get a handle on them." He thought it was a fairly reasonable proposition. He'd get to know the element of water better, while Isamu would be able to familiarize himself with that of wind.

Deciding to give further input on his idea, Yuudai spoke as he stared at the ball of water he was still molding in his left hand at this particular moment. "You want to be a fighter, something you can only learn through experience. You don't need to be violent to be classified as such. What we do as shinobi is not to fight, but rather to better ourselves and protect our village and those residing in it. You have to find the reason to fight. Killing, is another aspect of our job, some which people don't enjoy, but it must be done in order to insure the safety of Kirigakure." He spoke of words that reflect what he thought whenever questions about being a shinobi were brought up. "Killing isn't always necessary, but often the job calls for such. If someone threatened the safety of our village, would you kill them or let them live? The situation may never come up, but sometimes you just have to ask yourself these kinds of questions." He never bothered raising his voice to get his point across, but rather kept it in the calm tone he was rather fond of using. Yuudai wasn't cut out for killing, even if his skill set deemed it that it was better suited, as it would be a burden on his conscience. But, he would kill if he had to, there was no questioning that. He would take on the mental load and deal with it by himself, it wouldn't be something that he could bother others with.

Isamu had more than enough time to prepare for the mental drain that would be placed upon an individual who was not mentally suited for taking lives, but he would have a lot more time to prepare as well. Once he got to a higher rank, then he'd have to deal with such, but until then he could only think.

Yuudai explained how Isamu would have to learn to take lives, whether he wanted to or not, simply due to the fact that it was necessary in certain situations. He was right, and it hurt to know that. Yuudai then explained what the next exercise for training would be, and it was a rather simple one. He needed to knock the ball of water out of his sensei's hand, simple as that. "Well, that I can manage." he said quietly. He sprinted forward, commanding Kuremachisu to fly at Yuudai and scratch his face. Pretty simple tactic while Isamu prepared a plan of his own. Fuuton...it was an element he knew well in medical situations, but definitely not offensively. The Wind Bullets Technique was the furthest offensive application of it he knew, and that wasn't going to do.

The white haired ninja held his arm to the right, and swung it to the far left, creating an arc of wind that continued forward toward that hand that Yuudai held the ball of water in. He then charged chakra and, while Yuudai was distracted by the blade of wind, transformed into Kuremachisu, flying toward the ball of water. Now, Yuudai had two birds approaching him, and hopefully he wouldn't discern which was Isamu too quickly.

Standing there with the small, condensed ball of water hovering above his left palm; his palm at nearly chest level, Yuudai waited for the moments when he knew Isamu would strike. There were a few moments he had to wait, Isamu didn't reply to anything he stated concerning the duties of a shinobi of the Hidden Mist, but rather stated something that concerned the current exercise, "Well, that I can manage." A slight smile appeared on Yuudai's face as Isamu began to charge in. It was a different approach than he would expect, seeing as how Isamu wasn't suited towards close-range combat in his current prowess. Sure he had medical ninjutsu, but it seemed he severely lacked a technique that truly would damage an individual, unless he was keeping it hidden.

He'd have to show Isamu the capabilities of Fūton when applied with the use of ninjutsu, as it seemed he hadn't gotten a grasp on its capabilities. Appearing as if he was doing nothing, Yuudai took his attention off of Isamu and turned it back to the floating water ball. The only thing that one would be able to pick would be the slight change of wind around them. It was a technique Yuudai familiarized himself with, as it could be used in various applications, such that pushing chakra to his feet seemed like a, somewhat, natural reaction. The use of the academy jutsu was for his own benefit, to not be sent flying across the Misty Salvage. Whispering out a quiet, "Watch out." the wind around Yuudai began to pick up, just as the miniature blade of wind was approaching Yuudai and Isamu transforming into an exact replica of Kuremachisu; not that Yuudai was aware at this moment, the Fūton: Daitoppa jutsu would easily knock both back, considering the lightweight of the hummingbird.

Regardless of the next few actions, Yuudai began to expel water from his mouth, water that would turn in to mist, a signature technique of shinobi from Kirigakure. The Hidden Mist Jutsu would aid in Yuudai's personal goals for the day, while giving Isamu a challenge, one that if overcome would help him greatly; though it required one to think outside of the box. The mist slowly began to distort the vision within the Misty Salvage, a task that would require Isamu to rely on his senses. It was just as important in a battle to rely on one's senses if the situation called for it, though it wasn't something that one should rely upon at all times.

In bird-form, he reached the ball of water but simply bounced away from it. Confused, he watched as Kuremachisu made the same mistake, and they both realized that Yuudai had used some sort of jutsu to protect the ball, of a Fuuton variety. Shit. Well, he could try one other thing. Suddenly, a mist began to develop from Yuudai's mouth, and the entire salvage was blanketed in a thick fog that was difficult to see through. Isamu didn't really have any way to react to this, so he called Kuremachisu back to his shoulder as he reverted to human form and contemplated his options. He charged medical chakra into his hand again, ready for another go with his diffusion technique. If anything could stop Yuudai from protecting that ball, it was this. This time, however, he added a bit of Fuuton chakra to it, giving it a sharp edge that could cause minor cuts.

"Yuudai-sensei, you're good. I didn't know you had the Hidden Mist Technique...but I'll find you." he said as he raised the razor sharp hand to his torso, and scanned the surrounding area. He charged at a shadow, hand raised, as Kuremachisu fluttered off to try and find Yuudai as well. Maybe he could actually hit the Jounin; that would give him more time to follow up with another jutsu.

The mist, though created by himself, also brought on a small obstacle, though nothing he couldn't overcome. In all cases, he had the advantage over Isamu, something he would have to show him, so the he stop rushing in head first. Taking a few steps to the side, turning his body to the left, Yuudai moved slightly in succession with preparing for his next technique. If there was one thing about Fūton jutsus that Isamu needed to take a note on, just like any other jutsu, you didn't want to walk in to its path. Fūton was unique in the sense that its elemental properties were everywhere, like Doton, but not solid. The application of each jutsu varied, thus the potency of every technique wasn't measurable. All Fūton techniques required a slight shift in the wind before they could be used in a practical sense, and since there was air everywhere, the threat was present at every turn and bend.

Waiting a few more seconds, Isamu had to have recovered by now, Yuudai waited for a slight shift to occur in the mist. With his left hand still preoccupied, Yuudai clapped both hands together, the ball of water now floating above his fingertips, he waited for another slip second, for Isamu to get closer before unleashing the Gale Palm jutsu. He'd ignore the bird momentarily, as it wasn't particularly useful for attacking, and wait for Isamu to get within a closer range before releasing this Fūton jutsu. He'd expect him to get the point, Fūton techniques were particularily useful for keeping an opponent at a distant. Seeing a shadow enter the mist, a human shadow, a couple of more seconds would have to pass before he wanted to release the technique. Then, thrusting both palms forward, a gust of wind was released, rushing straight at Isamu, which would easily send him flying back, once again out of the mist that covered the Misty Salvage. Allowing his voice to echo within the confines of the Salvage, Yuudai wanted Isamu to get a graso of the capabilities of Fūton jutsus, regardless if Isamu was hit or not. "You should know by know, it's not wise to charge in head first against something that can easily knock you backwards. If I wanted, earlier, you would have been finished. You also have to account in the difference in skill between us. What you really need is more versatility with your jutsus, maybe then you would have a chance of hitting me." Taunting Isamu would either work for or against him, depending on how he responded to such words. He could either smarten up and think outside the box, or continue to charge in headfirst.

Isamu missed with his charge, only managing to hit air. He sighed with disdain as suddenly a gust of wind blasted him back, out of the mist, and he collided with the wall with a loud thud. By now, he was frustrated with his lack of jutsu. He made a few hand seals, and began molding chakra. "Well, that's the point. You're supposed to be teaching me jutsu versatility..." he said aloud. He then clapped his hands together, and a figure made of water blasted forward, aimed at Yuudai's torso. If it made impact, the ensuing would would require surgery due to healed internal damage. For this reason, Isamu assumed that Yuudai would go out of his way to dodge the attack.

He made another string of hand seals and held his head back, before spitting out a stream of wind bullets again. This time, he shot them in a horizontal line without entering the mist, so that at least one would make contact with Yuudai, and when it did, he would follow the sound of the impact back to the source, and attack his sensei with another jutsu. It was his best plan, but it still wasn't foolproof.

Hearing the thud, he knew that Isamu hit a wall, though he should have expected as such. Waiting a few moments for the frustrated individual to recover, Yuudai heard him speak, "Well, that's the point. You're supposed to be teaching me jutsu versatility..." Really, he did not understand the point at all. Yuudai knew he clearly stated before hand that dealing with things through experience would be the best method. You could hear all about a certain jutsu, but without ever using it, that knowledge would most probably be for nothing. If Isamu couldn't clearly understand that point, Yuudai was more than disappointed. He had, after all, agreed to show him wind related jutsus through the concept of a spar, even if it went against his original plans for the day. Deciding it would not be worth it to remain in a single spot within the mist, Yuudai began to move around, mainly to avoid any attacks that Isamu chose to throw his way.

Knowing that he dodged an attack, Yuudai looked to the side to spot what the image was. Serpentine, a basilisk like stream of water, cut swiftly through the area he once stood in, though the mist quickly began to refill the area where the basilisk had passed through. He knew Isamu was clearly trying to hit him, though his methods still remained far too direct. The next incoming attack he had anticipated, but it was far too late to dodge it entirely, as Isamu had used his Fūton technique once again. Moving off to the side, so he wouldn't take more than one hit, Yuudai was hit on his right shoulder, keeping the ball of water still in the grasp of his left. As he was sent back, roughly five feet, the damage dealt to his right shoulder was significant, as his sleeve was torn, his skin also torn and frayed. Wincing a bit, Yuudai tried to forgo the pain in order to continue on with the exercise. Had he not been thinking as much, he probably would have been able to dodge entirely. Still managing to keep the ball of water floating, the end was nearing, and he'd give Isamu one last opportunity to accomplish the task.

"You know, since you really wanted to see a Fūton jutsu, how about the one you had seen me learn before? You remember, the one in the swamp. Also, versatility is dependent upon the individual. We don't fight the same, therefore what I find useful, you may not. I'm only showing you various options you can eventually take." One could easily tell he was slightly winded, though as a Jounin, it would clearly take more to take down the member of the Aisu clan. He hadn't come out today to injure Isamu, so he relented in using anything of too high of a rank. Knowing that Isamu would be charging straight at him, Yuudai waited for the right moment to counter, possibly using a more powerful technique, so long as he wouldn't injure Isamu.

We don't fight the same, therefore what I find useful, you may not. I'm only showing you various options you can eventually take." That technique was an A-Rank, and Isamu remembered it well. He had learned Basilisk Mending in that swamp, but Yuudai's technique was much stronger. He did want to see it, but there was no hope he could emulate it himself. The Chakra in his body was growing a bit thin, anyways, so he sat down, waiting for the mist to dissipate. He really just wanted to go home already, his lack of motivation was tugging at him like a chokehold.

"I don't really wanna train, anymore. I'm running low on chakra, and I feel like just that little sparring match we had was a sufficient training session in itself. You could still show me that technique of yours, if you'd like, but I definitely don't have the energy to try and learn it myself." he said, with a yawn. He needed to train on his own, he decided; he didn't have many options in battle, and the best way to counter this was to find another fighting style. He planned to learn Taijutsu, as well as learning lots of new jutsu. But, today was not the day for that.

He had much to learn; those were the first few thoughts to flow through his mind. He definitely expected more, seeing as how Isamu was a chuunin as of now, but that proved him wrong as well. Maybe measuring by rank wasn't too great of an idea, seeing how Isamu declared his resignation from the spar. Knowing it was useless to do anything more, Yuudai waited a few more seconds, waiting for the Hidden Mist jutsu to dissipate. The fogged up view that Yuudai had began to clear up and Isamu came back in to view. Ignoring the twinging pain originating from his right shoulder, Yuudai looked back at the ball of water, still hovering above his left palm, untouched. Knowing that he had done what he had set out to do for the day, Yuudai allowed the water to drop, first landing in his palm, and then quickly spilling over, landing on the metallic floor of the salvage.

Looking at his supposed student, Yuudai waited for him to speak instead of doing so himself. "I don't really wanna train, anymore. I'm running low on chakra, and I feel like just that little sparring match we had was a sufficient training session in itself. You could still show me that technique of yours, if you'd like, but I definitely don't have the energy to try and learn it myself." Looking down at the small puddle created by the water he held in his grasp throughout the entire exercise, Yuudai waited a few moments before he would speak to Isamu. Even if he was just a year or two older than Isamu, Yuudai probably was more aware of the dealings of a shinobi, more so due to his constant thinking about the career path. "You know, I really did expect more. You have a lot of room for improvement, more than I had initially expected. Train, learn more techniques, and improve your overall approach to combat. The next time, when you find that you are at an acceptable level, find me. Until then, I'll see you around, I suppose." He turned to leave the Misty Salvage, but paused before he left the vicinity entirely. "You know what, you do possess the potential to be a strong shinobi, you just need to find your style. That is something I can't show you, as it is up to you to find out. Best of luck to you."

He knew he'd have to get his shoulder looked at and patched up. He had a feeling Isamu would be aware of the extent of the injury, being the one who used the jutsu, though it wasn't something Yuudai wanted to concern the chuunin with. Putting his left hand over the area that was hit, Yuudai promptly proceeded to make his way out of the misty salvage, traveling at his usually calm pace. He certainly had to finish the extent of his own personal training, something he could possibly do on his own time when time permitted.

Yuudai left, quietly tinging on the metal floor with his footsteps. Isamu sighed, and looked at the wall. "What if I never find my style? What if I'm not meant to be a ninja?" he said to himself, as he sat down and leaned against the wall of the bunker. It was a cold metal, still wet from the Exploding Water Colliding Wave. It wasn't an unpleasant feeling, though, and Isamu rested there, meditating deeply.

Isamu held out his hand, and chakra began to flow through him, gathering in his palm. Wind formed a razor-sharp ball, spinning at full speed. I can use the jutsu I know to learn new variations of them. The Wind Bullets jutsu is simple; this is just a larger-scale version of it, the Spiralling Wind Ball. I should have shown Yuudai, but it's too late now. This isn't all that special, anyways. he thought, before throwing the ball. It collided with the wall opposite from him, exploding and leaving a large hole in its place. A part of him knew that Yuudai was right, he did have potential. The problem was that potential wasn't the same as skill, it was skill that hadn't been fulfilled, and may never be. He'd met ninja who had great potential that never were promoted past Genin. He needed the skill to be a good ninja, he needed to fulfill his potential and become strong. He just didn't know that he was capable of that right now. He had to focus on other things, like his growing desire to become a medic, and his family.

Isamu gave one last sigh before standing up and brushing himself off. "Then it's settled. I'm going to become a medic." were his last words before leaving the bunker, headed to the Kiri Hospital to apply as a doctor. This would be his new life, until further notice. And who knows? Maybe he would like it better than life as a shinobi. He certainly knew he would be better at it.
