JUTSU BEING TRAINED:

Kenji was unsure of what was going on, the last week has been very peculiar and Kenji so far hasn't had a clue of what to make of it. As always, whenever Kenji faced a dilemma he focused or turned his attention to something else productive; that was usually training. So that was what he planned on dedicating his day to. He had a few techniques he wanted to fine tune. The blue haired shinobi, after grooming and a small breakfast grabbed his backpack along with all his other equipment, "To the Battle Plateau!" Kenji announced as he walked outside, he surveyed the area to make sure no one heard him.

It was a beautiful day in Kumogakure, the temperature was cool, the wind calm; a perfect day for sparring. Kenji awaited his drinking buddy Yoshiro to join him upon the Battle Plateau, so that they could both practice their general skills as well as other things. Kenji lied on the ground, near the center, with his loose white pants, sleeveless high collar white shirt, his shiny gloves, and finally his Kumogakure head band. Kenji stood up as he saw a figure approaching; he put his hand on the hilt of his sword as well as adjusted the ninja tools on his waist.

(Occ : Yoshiro lives in a small apartment it has a toilet with a small wooden panel covering on the left side of the room  a bed and cupboard on the other the window directly opposes the bed , showers and kitchen is found on the first floor of the apartment for residents)
 
It was a beautiful day the sun lit yoshiro's room and the glowing warmth pierced through his curtain and gentle woke the boy as he arose in his bed he looked at the window opposite his bed the curtain almost glowed as the sun hit the black curtain "What a great day to train" He thought as he got out of bed wearing a baby blue onesie (one piece p-j suit) He walked over to the cupboard at the end of his bed, His cupboard was neat and tidy all his clothes perfectly folded each having the own spot he picked out his white kendoji top and bottom's along with a towel to wash himself down stair's before leaving his apartment to the battle plateau.

After quickly returning to his room to return his onesie to his room he left the apartment slowly wondering his way to the battle plateau where his friend kenji was awaiting him, Yoshiro did not mean to intentionally be late but it was such a lovely day he lost him self in looking over the beauty the village of kumogakure had to offer.

As yoshiro finally got to his destination the battle plateau it was empty to much surprise the weather was perfect yoshiro was expecting a lot more than just one person, he saw a person's outline lying in the center of a large open area the bright sun hitting his eye's blurring his vision he was unable to make out the details of the person lying down as he approached the figure getting closer the person stood up yoshiro could make out more detail's The dark blue hair ,white pants the their arm grabs the handle of a katana as he walks closer and closer to the person "Hey Kenji, that you" Yoshiro's yells from about 5 m away awaiting the response on how he would react to the blue haired figure.

As the figure drew closer, it was indeed Yoshior; "Hey Kenji, that you" Yoshiro yelled, now relatively close to the Kenji. Kenji release his grip from his katana and extended his right hand straight up in a greeting gesture. The blue haired Genin moved in to meet Yoshiro, "Today is perfect for training, let's not waste anytime, eh?" Kenji said eager to begin training, and even more eager to see Yoshiro in action and if would he flip out like he did in the bar. Anyway, Kenji was bound to find out; a cool breeze swirled around the two shinobi as Kenji waited for Yoshiro to agree with starting immediately.

The Genin had no idea what to really expect from Yoshiro, he knew he had fuuton and ninjutsu. But that was it; it would be a good idea for Kenji to keep his distance in case he had any tricks he hadn't shown yet. Kenji was confident that the spar would be interesting at the least; engaging in competition was always exciting for Kenji, and only time would tell if Yoshiro would add to it.

As Yoshiro reached kenji he had very little time to catch up with his drinking buddy he had already taken his time to get over to the battle plateau, "Today is perfect for training, let's not waste anytime, eh?" Kenji said shortly after yoshiro reached him "Yeah sounds good" Yoshiro replies before turning his back on kenji walking a few meters yoshiro then turn's around now facing kenji from a few meters out he takes a kendo stance, his feet were parted and pointing towards kenji the left foot in front of the right.


"Im ready when you are" Yoshiro yelled from small distance whilst he waiting for kenji's response he begun to think over what he had seen so far from his pal kenji, in the bar fight he used some sort of technique unseen to yoshiro's eye's the man suddenly became dazed if he were a genjutsu user he could be in trouble but he could be wrong, the second thing he knew was that kenji is definatly a kenjutsu user the extend of his mastery of the art was also unknown but yoshiro was sure his swordsmanship was better.


Yoshiro's mind wondered in posibility trying to thing of how the kenji might attack him or if he would wait for yoshiro to make the first move as he stood directly in front of kenji , no sword no weapon just his bare hands awaiting his response .

To the blue haired shinobi's delight Yoshiro agreed upon starting the training immediately. He turned around and walked a few meters and took his fighting stance; "I'm ready when you are" Yoshiro announced. Kenji smiled at the slightly younger shinobi, "Let us begin". Upon uttering those words Kenji leaped backwards several meters, the distance between the two was now approximately 10 meters; Kenji weaved his hand seals and extended his left glove, due to its lustrous material if Yoshiro looked at it he would see his face/reflection, and if that occurred he would be trapped in one of Kenji's most basic techniques. Not knowing if the opponent was caught, after he extended his hand confident that Yoshiro would would look at it even for just a second, Kenji drew three shuriken and launched them at him. If the Genjutsu was a success he would see the shuriken flying in the opposite direction, confusing him and most likely resulting in him not dodging, or at least not dodging in time. "Let's see what you got Yoshiro" just in case the jutsu wasn't a success Kenji also unsheathed his katana and wielded it in his right hand looking to follow up the assault if need be.

The moment kenji said "Let us begin" kenji's hands begun to move in multiple hand seal's along with a leap backwards yoshiro eye's dart towards kenji's hands and quickly spots this and begins running towards the opponent's quickly closing the gap between them.

While running yoshiro decided on a combo attack as he was currently moving , while running towards kenji his hands start forming seal's shortly after he begun sealing his own, almost at the same time as kenji raised his hand yoshiro sent his own attack a bowling ball sized ball of white wind, now within 7m of the opponent the glove reflected the surroundings but not much else.

As yoshiro charged in with over confidence kenji in the same movement throws 3 kunai shortly after raising his glove the wind ball hurtling towards the opponent the white wind ball manages to deflect 2 of the kunai's changing their path from yoshiro before dissipating , the third flying past his left leg cutting his leg roughly 1/4 of an inch deep, it was a small cut but the pain felt being a kuroka was like a full inch deep.

(Occ : Kazumi appeared sheatheless normally it is normally created with its sheathe , the ball of wind disipated when contacting 2 kunai)

It slowed yoshiro's charge slightly but was a minor hindrance at best almost immediately after the kunai and technique used kenji unsheathe his sword on yoshiro's approach with one flick of the hand yoshiro's kazumi a long 5"5 katana with a solid bamboo handle appears in his hand before closing the gab swinging at kenji on his arrival to the opponent.

"Well done" Kenji thought to himself as the "Fantasy Mirror" was one of his go to maneuvers; he had purposely laid on the outer regions of the jutsu's range; seeing if it worked the shuriken would have most likely connected. Kenji however was testing the shinobi's senses; he reacted almost instantly upon Kenji forming the seals for his jutsu indicating that the guy was sharp in terms of his senses. "This guy doesn't waste anytime, I like that." Kenji said to himself as Yoshiro continued his charge by releasing the same Fuuton attack he saw earlier which successfully deflected two of Kenji's shuriken but the third was able to land, inflicting superficial damage.

Yoshiro all of a sudden wielded an impressive weapon that was long enough to close the gap between the two almost instantly. Right as the weapon closed in to deliver a strike to Kenji, the blue haired Genin decided to try out his new jutsu; he figured it wouldn't disarm Yoshiro, if he was good enough to wield something like this he was sure to be skilled enough to withstand his next attack. But the nature of the attack would definitely electrocute (minor first degree burns) the fellow Genin as well as successfully protect Kenji from the strike. Kenji channeled lightning chakra through his katana and brought it up to shield him from the bamboo stick. Once the katana made contact with the opponent's weapon; the lightning transferred into the bamboo stick and made its way to Yoshiro's hands. Because Yoshiro is most likely unaware of what the attack can do, Kenji assumed he would retract his weapon, but that would be no easy task as the lightning was traveling frightfully fast, naturally; it is lightning. The attack wasn't meant to disarm him, just to send electricity throughout his body and make him think twice before trying another Bukitjutsu maneuver. But unbeknownst to Yoshiro, Kenji could only use the technique once, since he hasn't fully mastered it yet, but he wouldn't know that.

Kenji had two hands on his katana as he shot the electricity through Yoshiro's weapon, as it flowed; Kenji thought on his next attack, "This guy is pretty good, I wonder if he can alter the size of this weapon, if not, it would appear that it can't do him much good in close." He would decide on how he would attack later; he had a few ideas but he wanted to see a little more from Yoshiro before committing to one strategy.

"This is it" Thought yoshiro as his blade connected with kenji's his overconfidence in his sword skill's left an opening that kenji took advantage of as their blades pushed against one another he suddenly felt a  burning jolt run down his right arm causing the muscles to tighten his grip weakened around the handle of his sword almost dropping it before his retreat.

The jolt was enough to make yoshiro's combo become null and void, his quick thinking and reaction's force him to leap back taking 3 large steps, "I've certainly underestimated you Kenji" He said with a grin on his face the enjoyment of being able to use his sword skill's at their fullest was an enjoyment yoshiro had almost forgotten.

Before pausing in front of the young blue haired boy, yoshiro placed the tip of his sword in a crack of the brick floor surrounding the plateau pushing down on the handle keeping kazumi stood up right in front of the boy,  his hands begun making seal's (Ox,Rat,Snake,Dog) after making the seal's his right hand grips the standing kazumi's handle and after the seal had been made he begins transferring chakra infused with raikon down the blade "Ill attack him again and try to catch him off guard with my Shiro urufu Baito" he thought to himself plotting his next move.

So far kenji was at the advantage yoshiro had already been hit by a kunai and his right arm still had a tingling sensation from the technique kenji used to counter his first swing the pain was like pins were being pressed into the muscles causing a light burning sensation make his next few swings slightly weaker, Yoshiro was still confident that his sword skills would be enough to overwhelm kenji and with that as quickly as he had leaped back and preformed seal's for a technique that he had already closed the distance for his next flurry of swings from his sword.

"Seems like it hit" Kenji thought to himself as he saw Yoshiro's grip loosen almost causing him to release his weapon, "Just as I thought, his Bukitjutsu is impressive. New plan" If Yoshiro was able to withstand that jutsu, getting into a full on Kenjutsu fight would most likely lead to a draw and cause Kenji to waste energy. After being stun by Kenji's new jutsu; he leaped back and performed some hand seals..."What's he up to?" Then he gripped his weapon, "Too obvious; he's using a chakra flow technique of his own; impressive but too obvious." Kenji wanted to initiate his next move, but he had little knowledge of what type of chakra flow maneuver he was using. "He is really confident in his sword skills; even after what I did just a few moments ago..." Then it occurred to Kenji and a smile came onto his face, "This jutsu he's planning has to be some form of diversion; it would be stupid to attack head on giving what just happened." So now Kenji knew that his next attack was not to target Kenji directly but to conceal the following move. Yoshiro charged Kenji closing the distance relatively quickly; the blue haired Genin jumped up and slightly forward  into the air; he was now right above Yoshiro (little more than one meter); "I'm sorry Yoshiro; this might be a little too much but, you leave me no choice; I can't risk being hit by whatever you're trying." Kenji thought to himself. All that was needed for Kenji to start his jutsu was one hand seal; which he made right before jumping into the air. Once he was in position, Kenji's mouth was already flooded with wind infused chakra, he then promptly released the plume right onto Yoshiro. Giving the length of his weapon, Kenji knew it would take him too long to attempt to hit Kenji from this distance; and Kenji with his great agility performed the moves very quickly.

The speed of the jutsu along with the distance it was released from would call for Jounin level speed to escape the the plume of wind infused chakra; or some other unexpected counter. "The fight has really begun now my friend." With his free hand (right) he still wielded his katana. Also, the speed Yoshiro was running at would also give him less time to react to an aerial attack since he had so much of his momentum gong forward. Kenji was still alert to see if his attack landed. If it did, screams were sure to follow; if screams didn't follow he would be immensely impressed. As always, he had his defenses set; the three shuriken he threw earlier were not just a ploy to test Yoshiro's general skill, and his katana was ready to strike on a whim.

As yoshiro charged grabbed his weapon he noticed kenji's body move slightly his legs where slightly bent "He's running at me?" Yoshiro thought to himself before making his first step towards the blue haired genin in to his charge to be followed by the flurry of sword swings he had planned to follow, With his second step he noticed kenji's body lowering and his arms moving by his third and forth step now moving quiet quickly the charging silver hair boy spotted kenjis legs bending futhur and his hands meeting forming a single seal then in one quick action leaping to the air "Interesting an Arial attack" thought Yoshiro as he begun to slow himself down to plotting out his response  he decided to use the momentum he had to his advantage using footwork all kenjutsu students have trained, his next foot step he used to quickly twist his body around now able to face and react to his opponents attack.
(Occ : Kuroka clan members gain a +1 Rank to kenjutsu techniques )

The quick leap into kenji had left him open for an Arial attack and his quick spin in order for yoshiro to be able to respond with 1 swing at best would surely need an acrobatic feet in order not to fall on his back with the traveling moment it left him in a venerable spot with kenji roughly 1m above yoshiro the young shinobis blue haired ninja mouth begun to spew a wind cloud over his head in the same time he saw kenjis hands form a seal the tall silver haired boy had thought of a response quickly coating his blade in chakra as the cloud of fog  came down roughly 2 feet away from yoshiro he swung his sword kazumi horizontally towards the smoke releasing a white crescent shaped gale of wind the length of kazumi's blade (4.5 feet) the gale strong enough to carry the pouring fog with it in the opposite direction yoshiro was traveling.

With the swung been made in the same turning action of his fancy foot work the traveling momentum had caught up with him but already having already planned for this making his technical acrobatic feet a simple task, After the swing of kazumi he immediately dropped it freeing both his hands in order to perform a backwards roll, Using the momentum of his charge throwing his hands backwards curving his body over till his hands are flat against the floor then letting the momentum carry his feet with a kick off  come over his head and back on solid ground sliding a few feet on landing now around 2m from kenji and kazumi, the pace in which he reacted was surely a feet of his kenjutsu training and his eyes being able to spot movements faster than most.

A second after the kuroka boy regained his footing he already had his next attack at the ready the distance kenji might have thought would aid him would now be used against him , Yoshiro's hands moved with blistering speed (Horse, Rat , Snake) "Return, Kazumi" Yoshiro shouted his right hand glowing as the handle of his sword seamed to have shoot from were it laid to his hand, he pointed his sword directly at kenji "Sorry Kenji" Yoshiro said under his breath as blue haired boy seamed to almost hover in the air with his words spoken his left hand makes a seal his finger curl into a ball with his index and pink pointing upward a great white crack of lightning erupts from the tip at an accelerated speed , the tip of the lightning resembling a wolf head as the white wolf darts towards kenji his reaction to such a quickly moving stealth move could potentially change the current dis advantage that yoshiro was in.
(Occ : with the +1 Rank Raiton Kaihou : Shiro urufu Baito would  travel roughly 3m at +25% to current speed)

"Yes, he doesn't disappoint" Kenji thought as he showed impressive footwork and reflexes; Yoshiro used a spin and fuuton to avoid the plume of wind infused chakra. Kenji landed gracefully on the ground with his katana still in his right hand. The boy's impressive weapon was close to Kenji; but after a few quick hand seals by Yoshiro the weapon returned to him. "Very nice" Kenji thought and then he knew he was about to release the chakra flow maneuver he prepared earlier. Kenji's head slumped down as Yoshiro spoke, "Sorry Kenji" soon after, a lightning jutsu was released, the end of it being in the shape of a wolf's head. "You've got some unique moves" the blue haired Genin leaped back in hopes of getting out of range but in conjunction with the length of the weapon it was in vain. Kenji would have like to avoid the attack, but he had an ulterior motive for attempting to get out of the way. That motive was that he had set a substitution with one of the three shuriken he threw earlier. So, to add to the optical illusion that was to follow, he wanted to appear to try an evasive maneuver; so the fact that he was truly relying on a substitution wouldn't be obvious.

The rampaging lightning wolf crashed into Kenji, Kenji was able to make it appear that he was being electrocuted for a moment; further delaying Yoshiro's response to the real Kenji that was on route to approaching Yoshiro. In actuality it was Kenji's shuriken that absorbed the lightning jutsu, and as the smoke took Kenji's previous position moments after the lightning jutsu reached Kenji; the blue haired Genin was already a few meters behind Yoshiro with his katana sheathed. Kenji weaved the five hand seals rapidly before it was apparent that the shuriken had replaced Kenji (smoke cleared); Kenji released a thrust sending his triggering gust flying towards Yoshiro's back that would connect within seconds. Kenji unsheathed his katana and charged Yoshiro. If the genjutsu connected; the Genin would be virtually immobilized as he would lose all sense of his surroundings; allowing Kenji to attack with no resistance. Kenji, in a matter of seconds was in striking range; he drew one kunai. If the genjutsu worked; Kenji would not follow through, and if it didn't he would most likely have to use the katana and kunai in an offensive/defensive manner.

As the white beam of lightning left the end of kazumi the young shinobi watched for the blue hair genin's response his sluggish efforts to try to avoid the quickly moving bolt had been significantly different from his previous efforts to avoid and initiate attacks throughout the spar "It's a trap" yoshiro thought as the white wolfs head collided with the young genin, The long silver haired boy had begun to wonder at what could be coming next out of his friend who had thus far impressed the boy both as a person but also throughout the duel as a ninja countering yoshiro's quick wit and seemingly endless fatigue with well thought out tactical counter attacks.

(Occ : Correction on kenji's response made kazumi disappear/unsummoned)
*Poof* the blue haired genin disappeared into thin air replaced with one of the kunai he threw earlier dropping on the ground in front of him "Your good" yoshiro thought to himself followed by the question of what was coming next and how long he had to react, Unsure on the time he had to plan his next move his reasoning behind his next move was child like at best (Hide in a crowd) using a technique taught in the academy he displaced his chakra and created 4 clones around him with a simple flick of the wrist kazumi disappears after changing place's with one in the same action seen with great difficulty.

Yoshiro's response was meet with a soft spiraling wind all surrounds him "You're pretty good kenji" He says in a soft joyful tone and with that he lost the sense of his body caught in the blue haired genins genjutsu feeling a spiral around him like being caught in a whirlpool , his surroundings become quickly covered in darkness unable to see anything around him and for a moment he lost his understand were he was he stood still in the darkness his sword in hand, waiting for the light to return the clones he created stood as he was to futhur confuse his blue haired friend to attack one of the shadows by mistakes.

Yoshiro attempted to answer Kenji's counter by creating 4 clones; unfortunately for Yoshiro; clones do not interact with the environment, and do not have a physical form. So when the gust blew through the five figures;only one had their hair and clothes move in the slightest in response to the gust of wind. Also, Kenji could feel who's chakra he was disturbing via the genjutsu. Kennji placed the side of his katana against the side of the real Yoshiro's neck. Kenji knew his genjutsu was about over, but in a real fight, the opponent would have been decapitated minutes ago. "That was impressive Yoshiro, I hope that wasn't too intense for you?" Kenji said as the affects of the Genjutsu were wearing off by now, as Kenji put his kunai back into his pouch he could tell that he was no longer disturbing Yoshiro's chakra. Kenji walked around to face Yoshiro; he gave a slight bow with his katana still in hand, indicating the end of the spar. "Your Kenjutsu is better than mine, and so are your eyes. You responded to the tiniest of things with great vitality. There is no doubt that you will be a powerful shinobi." Kenji complemented his drinking buddy, in hopes of assuring him that this was just spar meant to push, not to hurt. Kenji never fought with intentions of wounding the Genin, besides from superficial lacerations.

Kenji was clearly a much better ninja then the silver haired boy gave him credit for his over confidence caused his loss the feeling slightly boils his blood as yoshiros body slowly begun to regain its balance the the swirling darkness begun to subside, while the light begins to return to the boy the words pierced the darkness "That was impressive Yoshiro, I hope that wasn't too intense for you?" Kenjis words awakening the silver haired genin from his haze now completely returning to his original state , Unresponsive to kenji's words he feels the cold steel of kenji's kunai pressed against his neck the shame of losing already had the boys blood boiling as yoshiros dark passenger begun to claw his way to the light, the kunai is released from his neck and kenji walks around in front of yoshiro.

Yoshiro remembering that this was his friend and not an enemy he pushed his hatred and anger down with a large *Gulp* he looked into his blue haired friends eyes a moment after kenji spoke again "Your Kenjutsu is better than mine, and so are your eyes. You responded to the tiniest of things with great vitality. There is no doubt that you will be a powerful shinobi." there was a slight pause as they looked at each other "Thank you kenji your a very talented ninja your technique and tactics were flawless" the silver haired boy replied with a smile on his face shortly after saying  "Lets go get a drink hey pal?" with a playful tap on his shoulder.

The cuts yoshiro had gained in the fighting were superficial at best but the low tolerance to pain his clan has each small cut burnt through his limbs "Ouch i really should learn to fight smarter instead of just charging in " he thought to himself as he reviewed the spar in his head he now knew that he was a kenjutsu and genjutsu user with a mind for fighting tactics "He could be a very useful person to know" he thought looking over kenji before waiting for the blue haired boy to walk out of the battle plateau.

Kenji could tell that Yoshiro didn't like to lose, and neither did Kenji; but his words assured Yoshiro that he had great potential and could've won the spar. Yoshiro's Kenjutsu and coordination were quite difficult to manage; if it wasn't for Kenji's shuriken that he threw in the very beginning of the spar; he couldn't envision getting the upper hand on a guy so keen. Even with the replacement technique; Yoshiro was able to react quickly enough, and have the presence of mind to create 4 clones to mask his true position. If Kenji's technique was of Kenjutsu or Taijutsu nature; he would have struggled to discern the real Yoshiro; closing his window to capitalize from his diversion. It was only by chance that Kenji happened to have the right move in his arsenal to snuff out the clone. "This guy is no joke, I will need to get much stronger if I am to keep up with him."

After a brief exchange of words, Yoshiro suggested the two of them get a drink. Kenji made no protest, and nodded in agreement. Kenji finally sheathed his katana and walked off Battle Plateau alongside Yoshiro.
