Rippa had been taking a break from the reality of things. Even now he felt like everything was foreign and discomforting. He stared out his window as the rain outside slammed against the windows and the wind howled. It seemed to mirror his emotions. The grey day was pouring down on the village hidden in the leaves. Konoha. His home since birth and now he felt so alone. He missed his father but truth be told he had known it was coming. His tears were gone and now the hurt inside was slumbering like a sleeping beast. And he would let it slumber. He would allow it to be ignored for as long as he could. Hoping it did not awaken. Still his blue eyes looked outside and watched the storm. Thunder booming in the clouds above. Like flashing lights it played its beat. But he would be out in that soon enough.

Rippa had decided if anything he needed to distract himself. He needed to be put onto an assignment to occupy his mind. Any assignment would do. And so he had been handed a notice to go and observe a couple of genin rivals scheduled to duke it out. Had it been just the genin at the location provided it likely would of been canceled as being too dangerous. But with a chunnin medic there they were fairly confident in his skills. Enough so that they expected both genin to come out whole. He was informed that both genin had been instructed to meet at the location provided for performance review. They were to meet him there and he was to observe and report on how they did. Heal if required. And so he would. Besides it being a distraction he was actually rather curious about these rival genin. He himself had always been feared as the blood prince. So aside from his friend Risu he would say he had no rivals. The memory of being called the blood prince made him shake his head. He had only been reminded of it due to his father passing. Whispers had reached him from around the village of those who knew of him. With his new position as head of the Angel branch of the chi clan, it appeared as if people had begun whispering about Konoha's blood king. No longer the prince he once was. He really needed to get out and away from it all even in the storm.

He was already dressed of course. His boots strapped tight with his black pants tucked into them. His belt tightened and his one scroll attached to his left hip. The medical scroll strapped there with every medical supply sold to the general market. Scalpels and bandages, the works all in a box sealed into a scroll. He slipped into a black tank top and put on his silver necklace. The Angel wings pressed against his chest. His hands were covered int black fingerless leather gloves. And lastly his read coat with his konoha head band stitched into the left shoulder was slipped into. The coat falling to just above his knee's. He ran a hand through his white hair as he stared into the mirror. Before finally taking a deep breath and grabbing his red umbrella and heading out.

Under his umbrella only seemed a little drier then his surroundings. He had to angle it against the wind and that was a pain. But still his boots splashed through the mud as he walked through the village. His tall frame not having too hard of a time fighting against the wind. Even as his coat flapped wildly behind him. Still he made it down to the docks first. Moving along one of the covered docks to the end. It was dry enough under there. He shook out his umbrella and looked out at the setting for the battle. About 30 boats rocking back and forth on the churning waters of the bay. All tied together in a big square. The aim was to have the two genin battle on the boat in the storm while the waters shifted the boats too and fro. Footing would be difficult to find and balance would be key. Perception would also be limited by the storm. He raised a single white brow but didn't argue. He could easily get out there and retrieve both of them if need be. For now he would wait for the two to arrive.

The first thing that hit Rain was the rushing of the wind, and the slamming of the water against her, making her shiver. She was glad all she wore was her typical ninja outfit, with a kunai tied to her thigh, and her forehead protector tied around her neck, the metal resting on her throat. Shaking out her already soaked hair, she decides to keep it back with a tie while running to the beach the Chunin that was watching them told them to go to. "He had to pick a day like this..." She grumbled softly, after tripping over a broken branch. Getting an idea, she picks up a fist sized rock, binding her chalkra to it quickly, and slipping it into her pocket, in case she needed to use substitution jutsu. Soon, she arrived, standing right next to Rippa, and looking up at him. "I'm here!" She called, trying to dominate her voice over the much louder and fiercer voice of the wind, "I'm ready when Antanas is!" she continues, finishing and looking out onto the ocean while she waited, admiring the beauty of it. "It sure is beautiful out today... In a dark way, I suppose... It's 'me'ing everywhere." Rain chuckled quietly at her own little joke, twitching her fingers. Thinking for a moment, she also begins to produce glass filament, in case she can use it in battle.

Antanas walks outside on a sunny day, ready for a battle. 'I'll win this with my eyes closed.' he thinks, smiling. Just his happiness reaches a peak, it begins to pour rain. "Damn my luck!" Antanas screams as he gets drenched. Running to the battleground, he feels his Senbon on his arm, his kunai in its holster, and his Katar in his back sheath. Picking up two stones, Antanas channels his chalkra into one of them, and sees the battleground. "Really? On a ship?" He yells to the medical ninja watching over them. Looking over the overseer, he notices an eerie feeling to him. "Oh well. Lets get this battle on!" Antanas yells as he jumps on board one of the fishing boats, wobbling a bit as he regains his balance. Pressing his hands together and bowing to Rain, then immediately getting in a strife position. "Ready!" He calls out to all who are listening.

Rippa watched as first the girl arrived. Neither of them had brought much to protect them from the rain but that was hardly surprising. Few individuals came prepared to battle during such conditions as a downpour. But it was better they gain the experience why they could. Constantly shifting and slippery surfaces where better done without an enemy trying to kill you and a medic on stand by. He himself was dry enough to avoid the cold. But he also intended to stay within the cover of the covered dock. So he would in the best case scenario remain dry for the most part for the entire occasion. However the other two were already soaked and bound to get more so. The girl arrived first and decided to make some sort of joke. He didn't know her name though as it hadn't been provided so the joke was utterly lost on him. He noted the bulge of something in one of her pockets. Curious about it he nodded to her right before her opponent showed up. Thunder cracked overhead as something of a complaint was almost drowned out in the booming noise. And then the boy was already making his way for one of the boats. He certainly was straight forward. He had expected introductions or questions to be asked but instead they seemed ready to just hop right on into the frey. He figured the boy was the one named Antanas. Regardless he watched with his blue eyes and crossed his arms. After all the boy had already taken ground and steadied himself. If the girl went right at him then he would have the advantage. But there was a large amount of boats to maneuver on. He would just wait and see how the two of them behaved.

Rain watches Antanas jump right onto the boat, not even noticing that the one that he chose was coated with water, making her smirk. Nodding a bit at the medic, she jumps out after him, landing on a ship nearly directly across from him, 2 ships away. She watches him quietly, planning her moves quickly in her head. Nodding to herself, she does a few quick hand symbols, summoning three lightning javelins around her, crackling as the rain hit them, frying the water right away. She jumps onto the next boat, and then the next, landing on the same boat as Antanas. "Here's a hint!" she yelled out to him, standing 4 meters away, "Don't go on a boat when there's a Ninja with water jutsu!"
Rain smirks, and hits her chest, her cheeks puffing, then she fires a jet of water as strong as a fire hose, aiming to hit him in the face at first, then sweeping her head around in case she missed him the first time.

She growls, him using up her trick already. At least the rest of the water could put out the ship, preventing it from burning and going up in smoke. She watched her opponent, thinking. They were about 15 meters apart, and she sighed. That was too much distance. She jumped one ship closer to Antanas, thinking quickly, then smirking. They were about 7 meters apart now. She forms her hands into pistols, and makes a shooting motion 4 times, shooting 4 small, electric bolts at the boy.

After jumping to the next ship, Antanas turned around to see Rain following him. One ship away, she begins to raise her hands. Only given a split second to think, Antanas pulls out his rock with his chalkra in it. Although what happened next only took about 2 seconds, It felt a lot longer. After gathering oil in his mouth for the duration of her past charade, Antanas pulls out the chalkra-infused rock, which he was going to substitute it with. Throwing the rock as hard as he could over Rain, he feels a sharp sting on his left bicep, and his clothing was singed, leaving a hole and a first degree burn. 'Glad it wasn't my right..' He thinks about his metal forehead protector. Not wanting anymore bullets to hit him, and the rock thrown four meters away and three meters above Rain's head, he substitutes with it. 'This is whats going to count!' Antanas thinks as the propulsion from where the rock was carries him to exactly 4 meters above Rains head. That second, he spit out all of the oil he gathered, igniting it as it travels. Antanas can hear the crackles and sizzles of the rain evaporating around this fiery ball of oil. This bullet is about to plop right on her head, moving at 10 meters per second, which is more than capable of hitting her at this range. Even if she substitutes, he knows that this will at least damage her above arms, shoulders and head. After the last bit of oil was spit out, Antanas lands on the drenched ship that was hit by Rain's water jutsu, and picks up his rock that he had left. Putting it in his pocket and pushing his wet, matted down hair out of his face, he grins at Rain, waiting to hear her screams from the flaming oil about to hit her.

Rippa watched for a time. They certainly were energetic little buggers. Each trying to slam the other with some fairly hostile jutsu. But evading each other at the same time. First was the water trumpet. He recognized it in the works and contemplated how he might of done things differently. The issue with this fight was while the ground was limited and hard to get proper footing there was still a great deal of it. And the boats were of considerably poor quality. Barely afloat as it was. If he had to choose how he would of dealt with it is he would of eliminated as much of the ground as he could with as little effort as he could. At his level that would just be one jutsu but at their level slamming a Kunai in the right spot could work just as well. Ply the wood apart and the stormy waters would work just as well as a jutsu at taking the boats down. The other issue though is the boats were tied together. Once one starts sinking it could easily pull the others down with it. But they were ninja. They should of been trained in the academy to be able to stay above the surface of water as if it was solid ground,

Still he noted the continued onslaught. The flashes of electricity flying across the way. Well now that was a dangerous game. Using lightning while soaked and surrounded by violent waters. He could see that backfiring quickly. Still she nicked the boys leg but he was already reacting. A dark liquid spewed from his mouth. From where he was he could monitor the liquid and notice the boy poof in a white cloud of smoke and switch places with something he had thrown upwards. And then he ignited the liquid. He couldn't see from where he was if the girl was caught by such an obvious trap or if she had escaped. After all escaping into the water was an option. Still he watched to see if the boat would burn or of the boat she had shot would sink. He grinned as he noticed the boat she had shot was now sinking. The wine of ropes creaking could be heard. If they didn't deal with the ties then the many platforms they were maneuvering around would begin to sink. But he didn't call out. Instead he stood by and watched. There was a chance that the two of them might notice it in time. If they did he wondered how they would handle it. Or if they could even notice it. After all while fighting each other their footing was precarious at best. And the rain and thunderstorms dulled their sight and their hearing some as well he would assume as another clash of thunder echoed overhead.

Rain smirked, watching as the boy did nothing to block her lightning bolt as it flew at him. Soon, though, she was stumbling, after a strong wave hit her boat. She regained her balance, shifting her feet slightly on the ever rocking vessel, being careful to watch as it became more and more viscous, due to the rain covering it. She looked up, and noticed that he was no longer at the ship, and soon there was an enormous fireball flying at her. She hissed, and, thinking quickly, she ducked and slid underneath, giving the part of her body sliding a light rug burn, being irritating at most, and also getting terrible first degree burns on her face and arms from being so close to it, and she can feel her clothes burning on her body, with her hair being most likely singed, and it feels like her body is on fire. 'At least it didn't hit me...' she thought to herself, shaking out her arms to try and ignore the painful feeling. Looking up, Rain was not pleased to see him back where he teleported from. She smirked, and, sticking out her middle and index fingers in the form of a gun, shot the rest of her lightning bullets at him from 7 meters away, aiming for his chest. Then, she jumped up in the air, and, from there, moved up to him for some one on one combat, quickly cutting free her kunai and producing 6 meters of fiber from her throat, quickly pulling it out and tying it to the now free kunai, when she started swinging it on the end of the string, smirking. "Come at me, Clicker!" She yelled at him, the lightning javelins crackling in complaint as a wave hit the boat, causing water to slosh up on the two of them.

After landing from his last attack, Antanas landed, noticing the boats sinking. "Come at me, Clicker!" Rain called to him as the boat sank. 'What a fool...' Antanas thinks, the pressure maturing him and getting him ready for action. Taking out his Katar, Antanas cuts the cord attaching her ship to his. He then is stung on the chest by 4 lighting bullets. "Damn your lightning jutsu!"Antanas yells as he sheaths his weapon, the bullets shock the soles of his feet, as the electricity exited into the ground. Antanas dropped to the floor of the boat, creating five Doppelgangers, and using the middle to act as him. All of the shadow doppelgangers yelled to Rain in perfect synchronization, "Which one is the real me?" as this is happening, Antanas rolls into a hidden corner, transforming himself into a 1 foot by 1 foot piece of stone, so he will remain inconspicuous to Rain, who thinks the one in the middle is him. 'I got her this time..' he thinks, hearing the long, sorrowful "creeeeeeeaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkk" as the boards on Rain's ship slowly sank to the bottom of the ocean.

Rain growls at him, and suddenly, there are 5 Antanas. Smirking, and letting her hotheadedness get the better of her, she doesn't notice as the boards underneath her begin to give way, so she smiles. At only 5 meters away from him, it was obvious, even through the rain, to know which was him; considering only one of the ninjas were wet. Forming all of the javelins in her hand into one, much longer one, she tosses it at the soaking wet Antanas, and it crackles through the air, and, as she watches, hoping it hits it's mark, the boat gives out below her with a sickening crunch, and suddenly, she was falling into the water. Determined, she quickly activated her Supernatural Walking Practice, landing on the water, and, trying to use the element of surprise, climbs up the side of the boat, then jumps onto the deck Antanas was on, swinging her makeshift Kunai-flail combo at him, not seeing whether the javelin hit or not, but she realizes too little too late that she hit doppelgangers each time.

For the moment it seemed like the two were trading some rather harsh blows. He noted the girl managed to get through the fire with some small burns and managed to slam some more lightning bullets into her target. He sighed and his foot began to tap. One boat was already sinking but neither of them were on it. The boy himself cut the ties. Letting that boat sink without pulling his boat down. But it was still tied to other boats. So he had bought himself some time. Still Rippa watched as the sinking mass began to pull the other boats down ever so slowly. It was hard to tell with the way the boats were getting slammed with the waves. There was a reason such small boats were not left out docked by the sea. Bigger ships had decks that let the water from rain and waves drain off the edge. But such simple boats were like buckets. And with the downpour and the waves. Small amounts of water were already beginning to slosh around in the bottom of the boats. So in truth they were on a clock. They could continue beating on each other for so long but already one boat was down and it was on the verge of dragging two more down with it. And once those two went then a chain reaction would start. But it was a good distance from the two. So if they didn't notice soon it may very well be too late.

So far he noted several first degree burns and possibly some light bruising but no reason for him to stop their little rivalry. He just observed for the moment and would report his findings later. At least he was dry. The two of them must be soaked. Still he noticed her closing in. Ignoring the pain from the new burns she had to be in. The boy had fallen from the blows to the chest but puffs of smoke marked him using a bunshin no jutsu. Usually he would say that was a risky play but if she was going to be in close quarters it might just be his best move. Get her flustered with which target to hit and which might hit her. If he managed to pull off a successful hit he might end it. If not then it would continue. Rippa Smirked and watched as the two boats about to be pulled under began to fill with water. So the question arose. Would either of them choose to start severing all the lines connecting the boats together or would they ignore it until they were left on a cliff? It didn't really matter if they chose the latter so long as they had chakra remaining to make it to shore. But the way they were flinging jutsu around he would have to keep an eye out in case they did more harm then they intended.

Shooting lightning javelins and other harmful things at the doppelgangers, Rain then starts to flail at the clones with her kunai attached to her little webs. 'Gross...' Antanas thinks, remembering how she excretes a weird, gooey silk-like substance when she wants to. 'Of course, I spit out mud' Antanas jokes to himself. Making all of his clones disappear into thin air, Antanas uses this chance to go in for a victory against Rain, so he can get off of these accursed boats. Turning from the stone back into himself, Antanas begins to do the hand seals needed for his next jutsu (Dragon → Rat → Horse → Tiger). Antanas creates 10 spikes 3 meters away from Rain in semicircle behind her, which he launches at the back of Rains knees as he runs up to her. Now being 20 centimeters away, and clenches his hand into a hard fist, swinging it so it will hit her right in the temple if she manages to dodge any of the 10 senbon (Making sure to be out of the way so he isn't spiked himself) he created that are meant to make her unable to move. Smiling as his fist flies through the air, he is sure it will make it's mark, and says "Sorry for 'Rain'ing on your parade!"

Rippa watched as the battle reached its peak. Both of them aiming some rather harsh assaults at each other. He noted how one of them was eager to take ground first and prepare to counter while the other was ready to charge in. It was always a bad idea to be the second to arrive at a location for a direct assault. Given any planning the individual you choose to engage already has better footing and his or her choice of where to defend from. Tricky as he was it was only working as far as he could tell because she was eager to jump into right where he wanted her. Had she hung back and planned more instead of launching jutsu like a cannon she might of noticed it. And had she noted that he wanted her to get close then she could of hung back and tried a less direct assault. At which point whatever trap he was preparing wouldn't be tripped. But that was just his own observation of the battle. it wasn't entirely one sided after all. They had traded some blows and each of them had the burns to prove it. Even as the storm raged on he watched the finally unfold.

So he had set up a trap using disguise and clones. And she went into it with lightning crackling. She had wiped out most of the boat with her onslaught but it was to no avail. Having seen her mistake she just stood there. And standing still was typically a bad move in the middle of a fight. Even is she was unsure of her opponents current position she still could of kept moving to scout out the area. But instead he watched the end of it. he watched her legs get stuck by the jutsu the boy preformed and him clock her across the temple. Even as she fell into the water Rippa was moving. It was enough for him to call the fight. Activating chakra under his feet he landed on the water near the boat. and held out his hand. Thin green strings of chakra shot from his finger tips into the water and with a yanking motion he pulled the girl out of the water. And proceeded to carry her quickly to the dry dock before setting her down. He saw her chest rise and fall and that was good enough for him. He rolled her onto her front and with a touch numbed her legs. Before carefully pulling out the projectiles. Letting the tiny wounds bleed. He finished with her and finally he activated his chakra once more. And suddenly he was like a green light. His whole body glowing green with chakra as he tapped the girl. And for a second she would glow green as well. Every burn and cut and bruise healing like it never happened. He then waved the boy over to and if allowed tapped him as well. All the boys burns and bruises would heat instantly as if nothing had happened. Between the two of them only the torn clothing could prove anything had happened. It was then that Rippa had spoken.

"The evaluation is over. Make sure she gets home and rests up. I will go an turn in my report."

Waking up on the shore wasn't the worst part of the ordeal, but the fact that she lost was. "Dammit..." She muttered to herself, sitting up and rubbing the back of her head. Looking over, she noticed Antanas, and made a face at him. "You know, you didn't have to stab me in the legs...

Standing up all the way, Rain took a look at herself. Her clothing was torn and singed, but other than that, she was perfectly fine. 'Thank god for that medical ninja...' she thought to herself, wiping some dirt off of her back and looking at Antanas. "Even though you beat me..." She says, looking at him, "You won't be so lucky next time."

Looking at her wrist, she was pleased to notice that her kunai was still on the end of it's string. Quickly biting the string off, she pockets the kunai, and, sticking her tongue out at Antanas, runs off back to the village, hopeful for a new opportunity to experience such a challenging, intense battle again.

Antanas heard a sharp, loud cracking noise as his knuckles collided with Rain's surprised face face. Antanas watched her fly off of the boat, landing into the ocean. Feeling the hard drops of rain on his skin, Antanas lays back on the boat, exhausted. "Yes! I won!" He yells up to the sky. But when he feels his hand, he can tell that one or two of his fingers were broken. "Shouldn't have punched her face so hard..." He murmurs, rubbing his hand and wincing in pain. Sitting up, Antanas notices that the person watching over them had Rain on the shore, and was healing her. "I better go get healed myself..." Antanas sighs as he pulls himself up, feeling each burn and blister on his body sting from the fight. Stepping down from the boat, which was quickly filling with water, he stands on the water and begins to run to shore. Each time his foot hit the water, he felt his hand and burns become more painful, but he holds in the pain so he can get healed in a timely manner. As Antanas makes it to shore, he notices that Rain is healed, and she looks up at him. "You know, you didn't have to stab me in the legs..." she whined to him, angry that she had lost. "Sorry, but I couldn't just let you win!" Antanas tells her with a smirk, laughing to himself a bit. "Even though you beat me..." She says, looking at him with piercing eyes, followed by a tad of envy, "You won't be so lucky next time." Rain sticks her tongue out at Antanas, and beings to run back to the village. "Hmph." Antanas comments as she leaves, "She should know by now how terrible my luck is by now." Done talking to himself, he looks over at the man who was watching over their battle. Holding out his shattered hand while gesturing toward his burns and asks, "Would you mind healing my burns?" Antanas begins to smile and says, "You probably know this, but my name is Antanas Kimura." Holding out his non-broken hand to shake, he asks "What would your name be?
