Sousetsu Senju

D-rank
Sousetsu rose from his slumber that was his bed early in the morning. Today was another day for a mission. Since turning Chuunin, Sousetsu had been hard at work recently finishing his first B-rank mission with one of his comrades but decided to take up a D-rank mission to relax a little from the dangers of the higher ranking ones. After washing and eating a small breakfast of toast and his morning juice Sousetsu headed for the door after checking his appearance in the mirror in the corridor on the way out. His black jumpsuit was enough to take on a light mission such as this as there was no real danger.

After locking the door behind him he withdrew a scroll he kept in his pouch he kept dangling at his side. After opening the scroll he glanced at the mission statement and read it quietly to himself. 'An elderly gentleman, Kereru, has contracted you to catch an adolescent street youth in the act of vandalizing his home. Said street youth is the young boy in the Academy who lives in the buildings next to the elderly man, who claims that the boy often has his young shinobi heathen friends over for general hoodlum activities. In addition, you are also encouraged to help paint over the graffiti that has vandalized the man's home. You just have to catch the person vandalizing the mission-contractor's home in the act and stop them. They normally preform these shenanigans under the safety of night.' Sousetsu finished by folding the scroll and placing it back to where it once resided.

Sousetsu rushed to the elders house in question and noticed the graffiti of horrible and ugly drawings that one would have a hard time excusing it as 'art' and knocked on the door to find the gentlemen answer to him. He had a slight hunch and limp when he walked out to greet Sousetsu and carried a cane. Kareru wore a short tan Kimono with black pants and wooden sandals. He also wore a straw hat on his head maiking him a notable figure. After the exchange of greetings Sousetsu explained that it was he who would take up his request to which he was delighted to hear and pointed him in the direction of the young boys house. He also took note of the boy's name, Akane Fuji, who was described as a short and pudgy kid. Akane wore whatever clothes were picked out for him for the day by his mother, so seemingly well-dressed, and normally has a consistently runny nose.

As he arrived he noticed the boy who matched the description leaving his house with a can of spray. "Halt!" Sousetsu shouted as a warning to the boy. With a look of disbelief and shock the boy ran in the opposite direction of the Senju. Sousetsu darted to higher ground and overlooked the movements of the young boy. The young vandal seemed to halt as he turned into an alleyway and tried to catch his breath. Moving swiftly, Sousetsu gave the boy a surprise blow to the neck to knock him unconscious and scurried away with the boy over his shoulder.

After turning the boy in to the police for a statement, Sousetsu left with haste to the elders house but before doing so, picked up a large can of paint. Once he arrived he let him in on the situation. The man seemed thrilled mostly, but a part of him felt remorse for the boy. Having a record at a young age is a bad thing to have, after all. Sousetsu began painting the house with the old man, giving it a fresh coat within the hour and a brightly yellow tint at that to make the house seem more warm to the naked eye.

With an acknowledgement and thanks from the elder gentleman, Sousetsu departed and headed for the Hokage's office to turn in another successful mission and another one to add to his profile.
