Sousetsu Senju

Sousetsu Senju

D-rank
A new day had arisen for Sousetsu of the Senju Clan. With a summers day with a cool breeze it seemed to be a beautiful day for a harmless mission. Sousetsu yawned as he tightened his gear at the entrance of his hime before he made his way to Lady Kitaro's house. "Okay! Let's see here..." Sousetsu reached for the parchment inside his attire and found his mission statement.'Sousetsu, your mission is to find Lady Kitaro's cats. There are five cats in total. Bring them back by nightfall and the cats may not be harmed.' Folding the parchment and depositing it within his attire once again Sousetsu took off for his mission's starting point.

Arriving at Lady Kitaro's house Sousetsu knocked the door lightly and bowed when the elder had answered his call."Good morning, Lady Kitaro! My name is Senju, Sousetsu! I am here to find five of your cats." Sousetsu exclaimed as he remained bowing formally. Upon rising his head, Sousetsu had noticed a furry tail dangling from under the furniture he could see past Lady Kitaro. Lady Kitaro pleaded that he had to find them and referred to them hypothetically as 'her babies'. With a slight grin Sousetsu pointed behind her and asked if it was one of the cats in question. The shouts of joy proved that it was indeed.

If only the rest were that easy to find. There was a hint of doubt that Lady Kitaro hadn't lost her cats and were remaining in her house right under her nose but was too gullible to take head of the obvious signs. Nevertheless, this assignment was to be completed and so Sousetsu parted with Lady Kitaro with a list of where they might be. On his way to one destination, the lake, Sousetsu heard the cats cries from nearby. Two cats were seen in an alleyway rummaging through the rubbish that lay outside. Of course this would attract cats as this was a sushi restaurant. "All right, little fella's. Let's get you home. Sousetsu sighed with a hint of relief.

Upon returning to Lady Kitaro's residence with two of the cats that went missing, Lady Kitaro snathed the cats and squished them with her 'affectionate' hugs. Sousetsu thought at this point in time, the cats had a reason for leaving after all. Immediately after her thanks a canine could be heard coming to their general direction. With a glance Sousetsu had noticed another cat but was being chased by the dog he had heard. In an instant, Sousetsu leaped from one building to another before snatching the cat from harm's way and reached high ground until the dog lost interest.

Sousetsu sighed, "Phew. That was a close one, eh?" Sousetsu asked the cat rhetorically. He left the cat with its master once again. The feeling of deja vu seemed to dawn over Sousetsu. A mission of repetition can prove to be quite tiring but had almost finished his mission and could not back out now. As noon approached, Sousetsu searched aimlessly for the remaining feline companion of Lady Kitaro's and could need seem to find a trace. No cries. No disturbances. No rubbish lying amongst the streets. It seemed so much easier to Sousetsu but it turned out that this cat might be resting somewhere.

The logic was that simple. The cat was resting somewhere, embracing the suns says, probably bathing itself while enjoying the nice weather. But where on earth would a cat rest if not it's own home? The answer soon became clear as a stereotypical moment had knocked on Sousetsu's door. A tree. Cats are always getting stuck in trees. Searching for a secluded tree with a grade ray of sunlight beaming down on it Sousetsu had found the remaining cat. There it was, bathing as he had though. It was startled as Sousestu landed near its position but it seemed like the lazy type after all when it didn't care much for moving.

Within a matter of second the Genin had leaped forward and retrieved the cat and made its way back to its sanctuary. "Oh thank you, young man! These little kitties were out all night I was getting worried. Tell the Hokage you did a great job from me. Thanks again!" Sousetsu simply bowed before her as he once did in the earlier hours and made his way to turn in his mission as a success.
