It was a hot, sunny day....typical in Iwagakure. Raishi had woken up with quite the terrible headache; his head pounding rhythmically in a flawed concerto. He tried putting ice on his temples, to calm them, but it seemed like it made it only worse. The thing was, the heat even seemed to add to the pain....great. What a great start to the day.

He took a light stroll to the Administration office, checking the team boards...it had been updated. Of course it had...and his students were Alessi Kazako, Migoto Tenshi and a Chiba Shogo, all names that he never knew even existed. Usual ignorance...he really needed to get himself more out of to the sun though....furthermore, his team was now called Team 7, no longer DELTA; just one of the many changes that Raishi was just noticing.

Before leaving the office, he sent out letters to his students, writing that they should meet up with him at his favourite spot....Waterfall Point. It seemed appropriate because not only was it his best spot, but it was the best place to cool off on a scorching day as this. He headed back home to change from his usual shinobi attire, to something more...casual. He worse his black sleeveless shirt, with black pants and standard shinobi sandals. This attire allowed more breeze to is his body so he would stay from sweating. After a few cold drinks, he left his home once more, for Waterfall Point.

Upon reaching there, he headed straight up for his spot; up the highest Waterfall, behind a few rocks where he may rest undetected. He lay there, waiting for the appearance of his students, confidence flowing through him.

Chiba was prompt as usual. Arriving shortly before the appointed time. He was curious to find out more about his teammates and sensei. With practices ease, his hands withdrew into his sleeves, emerging with his journal and a stylus with which to write. Making a few quick notes, he deftly returned the items to ther hiding spots.
As he reached the peak, it appeared as though he was the first to arrive. It was unlikely his sensei would be late, though he had heard of it happening. More likely was that he'd used a transformation technique to hide amongst the many boulders at the summit. Staying vigilant for a surprise attack (a common first-day training ment for he sensei to admonish his students), Chiba found a large rock he distinctly remembered being there his pervious (and only other) trip to the waterfall summit.

Walking through the various busy stalls and venders of Iwagakure's marketing distract. All around Migoto various happenings, conversations, and general commotion was heard.The streets were lined with people all going about their day in relative peace, aside from the occasional pushy merchant, all was well.

Besides a nice brisk walk and sight seeing around the village, Migoto had a different purpose. He had received a letter to meet his new sensei,
Raishi Kanetsu. But his sensei had been Zenchi not just a few weeks ago, he would have to remember to bring that to attention at the meeting. Clad in his normal attire and sporting his now broken in Kanabo sheathed on his back, he headed to the waterfall point.

Upon reaching his destination, he was greeted by a serene sight. The very place he had been at only minutes before he could now see high above the bottom of the waterfall. The flow of the water over and down the scale of the mountain produced an audible and constant bubbling and roaring. Done taking in the scene he noticed one person on a boulder, knew that Alessi had carried over to the new team so it was someone new."Hey man, are you here for team 7's meeting?" It was said casually, for all he knew this guy could just be out to relax.

Alessi was face down sleeping on her bed. She had been rather tired from the day before. It was probably because she quite literally spent the entire day running errands of all sorts. Unfortunately, this exhaustion caused her to sleep in a little later than she expected. Alessi woke up and slowly eased her way out of bed. Her arms flopped to her side and her head drooped down slightly. There was no doubt she was still half asleep. With the same speed she used to get out of bed, she plodded downstairs and went into the front of the house. Walking over to the mail basket, she noticed a letter that was most likely for her. Picking it up and bringing it into the kitchen, she opened it and read it. As soon as she realized what it was and what it said, she jumped up and sprinted back upstairs. In a flash, she washed up, changed, and was out the door instantly. The fact that she had a new sensei, and most importantly, the time, is what brought her to a full on sprint out of the house.

She was late…

Rushing through Iwa, she reached Waterfall Point and took no hesitation at all to get to the top. Before she reached the peak, as well as the view of the others, she slowed down to catch her breath and calmly walked into sight. Alessi scanned who was there. She only recognized two of the three. Chiba, whom she had met no too long ago, Migoto, who was her teammate long before any switch ups occurred, and finally the last person there. She assumed he was the new sensei. With a friendly, yet somewhat nervous grin, she greeted her new squad. “Hello…”

It wasn't long, before Raishi slept off.

He hated waiting for people...it really just irritated him. The fact that he was starting to sweat only fueled the irritation. Technically, it was his fault that he was waiting for them as he could have sent the letters yesterday, but neglected to due to laziness. Last minutes seemed to be a thing for him........not anymore.
Looking down, he noticed that the three kids had arrived and it was time to be introduced.He was now going to be a Sensei, so all past, irresponsible character had to be shed off. It was time for a new Raishi, a respectable individual. The time for an introduction had come.

But first, a little fun?

Raishi had no idea the ranks of his students, or their skill sets, so he was going to test them. A quick, unannounced drill...
He calculated the distance between him and the kids....he wasn't that far up but still was unnoticeable. He was about 14 meters up, so it was the perfect distance for the jutsu........Earth and Stone Dragon.

As he weaved the hand signs Horse, Dog, Bird, Ox, Snake, the dragon burst out of the ground in front of him, and he began by twirling it behind the Waterfall itself, letting it come out the other side before going down towards the kids; he did this so that they wouldn't suspect where exactly his position was. A careless move, but then again, they were kids. Some may say that he was underestimating them, but he really just wasn't in the .... mood.

Let the fun begin.

Chiba turned his head at the newcomer's voice. ."Hey man, are you here for team 7's meeting?" it had said.
Chiba turned to the voice's owner. "yes, i am, in fact, here to meet the rest of Team 7. My name is Chiba Shogo. it is a pleasure to meet you." Chiba briefly analyzed the young man in front of him. (headband, same as mine; genin level iwa-nin. posture; Ninjutsu. build; Taijutsu. no obvious singed fabric or skin; not likely to have katon aligned chakra. could be a strong candidate for cooperative puppetry depending on chakra elemental alignment).
his analysis over, Chiba opens his mouth to inquire his comrade's name, when another voice interrupts him.
“Hello…” said the voice.
Chiba recognised its owner before he even turned to face her. although he'd only met her once before, ironicly enough it was his other time at the waterfall. Alessi came into view behind the unnamed comrade.
Chiba was about to greet her, when he felt the boulder upon which he was sitting shake slightly. quickly deducing that the three of them were the students, he understood that what he'd been careful about before was actuality, their sensei had laid in wait, and was attacking now that they were gathered. under the guise of putting his journal and stylus away, Chiba made a series of quick hand signs withing the confines of his long sleaves before using his good hand to help himself into a standing position. his left ribs may still be slightly cracked, but at least the medical ninja had been able to heal the hole left from the kunai, or he'd be at an even bigger disadvantage than he currently was.
his eyes darting, looking for where the attack was coming from, Chiba quickly saw the earthen dragon above the three of them. "scatter!" he shouted as the dragon began its descent.

So, the boy was on the same team as him, that was reassuring. So the mystery member of team seven was finally reviled as Chiba. Chiba was about the same age and build as himself yet a hairs inch shy of Migoto's height. From the way he talked, the boy sounded generally friendly; maybe that was just because they were just in the introduction phase of their relationship. Like it or not they,along with Alessi, would be paired as glorious team seven. But, Migoto wasn't complaining. Both his teammates seemed to be nice and accepting of new teammates which excited Migoto. It would be a great time. Just as Migoto was going to introduce himself, a sweet voice breathed a greeting, had to be Alessi.

Looking over his shoulder he saw his suspicion was right. About to greet hear and then introduce himself to Chiba, he was interrupted by shaking. The ground upon which they stood began to vibrate violently. From in front of him, Migoto saw a form surging for the trio, an earthen dragon; an attack by an enemy? No, they would have heard sirens of the early warning systems if foreign shinobi where attacking. It was one of two options, one was their sensei, another was either a bandit or other ruffian. Migoto hoped it was the former. Chiba was the first to warn the other two with a "Scatter!".

It took Migoto's body milliseconds to react, dodging to his right and unsheathing his weapon. The spines of the four foot Kanabo shone in the sun, ready to decimate the unseen attacker. Readying his weapon encase of any projectiles, he would wait for the attackers next move.

As it turned out, Alessi wasn’t too late. In fact, she had gotten there in a record time considering she was running as fast as she could. The group there seemed to be pretty interested on what the meeting was going to be about. Probably just to meet the new sensei. Alessi could only really compare the meeting to the first time she met Zenchi, her old sensei. With a soft sigh, she looked upwards towards Raishi for only a moment. She then decided to look to her fellow teammates and ask them a quick question. Before she was able to do so, Chiba yelled out something. Of course she didn’t hear it fully, but could easily make out by the tone of it that something was coming. Upon seeing Chiba and Migoto jump to the side, she did the same almost out of instinct. The moment she touched the ground, rolled away from the earth jutsu that was thrown at them.

Standing up and dusting herself off, she reached into her pouch and grabbed her assault gloves. Quickly, she put them on and reformed a group with Migoto and Chiba. Many things were rushing through her head. Some of those things involved their new sensei trying to go after them for reasons unknown. But as luck would have it, that’s pretty much what he, was doing. “Ugh… I just woke up… I don’t want to fight…” She thought to herself as she adjusted her gloves a bit. No matter what she wanted to happen, Raishi definitely looked like he was ready to go.
