Training Taijutsu C->B

Menda lay on the floor of the dojo relaxing as he waiting for his training partner to join him. Although this was a dojo owned by a famous kenjutsu master menda figured it would be a better place to train then out in the middle of no where and it was closer to home. His sparring partner was a jounin one he knew little about but knew of the name of his clan. A clan menda found very interesting though he was able to find very little information he did know that the clan did not have a normal chakra system like most people did. He was eager to learn more about the clan and the shinobi but it would have to wait until they got their training done hoping he might learn more about him during the training as well.

Stretching his legs, Sanosuke pulled himself out of his bed that was beginning to ache his back greatly. This bed he was sleeping on pale in comparison of the high quality softness of the cloud in bed form he slept on in Kiri. The bed he slept on was like that of an angel and there seemed to be nothing that could top how soft it was. Sanosuke had already saved enough money for going apartment shopping and so far nothing had came up for him to look at, to be perfectly frank there was absolutely nothing for him that caught his immediate eye. The amount of money he seemed to have accumulated was so much that really money wasn't an object. He was looking for something more about how comfortable he was in and really didn't care about how big it was.

Then it turns out that he was called for him to help some rookie ninja with taijutsu training. It was rather an odd request considering that Sanosuke was a KENJUTSU master, and not a taijutsu specialist. Although he was probably the wrong type of shinobi for this training, Sanosuke decided what the hell. He didn't have an appointment with his real estate agent yet for more apartment shopping so he would just have to do something to kill time. Sanosuke got himself ready for the day and that led to him putting his sword in the proper place on his body which was on his back, before he stepped out of his cave.

Akako dojo was where he was supposed to meet the genin. This was Sanosuke's usual spot for training, so a genin liked training here. That was rahter interesting. When he got there he saw a blond child with the Kumo headband on him and lounging about. It seemed as though the child didn't really notice him and a rather cruel thought popped in his mind. Taking his sword off from his back, he pulsed chakra to the tip of his sheathe and bashed it on the ground so a loud boom went off when his sheathe landed against the ground.

"Alright up and atem! It's time for training!" Sanosuke barked loudly enough to surprise the tired genin.

Menda continued to day dream letting his mind wander as he thought about what it would be like to be the raikage, There was nothing menda wanted more then to become the raikage and to be the proud ruler of a village he loved so much. He imagined himself standing on top of the administrative building in his robes just overlooking the village. So absorbed into his day dream he was completely oblivious to the entering of his training partner. His eyes still locked on ceiling of the dojo he also didn't see the ninja unsheathe his blade and slam the sheathe into the ground.

The loud boom vibrated the ground slightly the combination of the loud sound and the vibrations snapping him out of day dream and startling him to his feet in an instant. The man's voice booming through the empty dojo as menda starred at the man that stood before him it was obvious that he was ready to this training started. Though menda wanted to make the first move he knew he was at an extreme disadvantage having to fight with a kenjutsu user that was also a higher rank then him, He took his usual fighting stance and cross his arms as he waited unsure if he would be forced to make the first move or if the shinobi would be in such a rush to get things started that he would attack first.

This genin had some spunk. Sanosuke liked that, its been a while since Sanosuke taught someone better tutelage in techniques. The last time he instructed someone in the arts of fighting was a young member from the Inuzuka clan. His name escaped him but the kid was definitely fiesty and had a long way to go before fighting properly. And now he would have the opprotunity to help another genin get stronger. It was really his lucky day, and this time Sanosuke was much more experienced than he was before. This kid would be able to pick up more from Sanosuke than that other kid Sanosuke tried to teach when Sanosuke was only a chunin. The kid Sanosuke taught long ago and the genin before him presently had one thing in common: they didn't use a sword, they used their hands.

Well, well, well. Another taijutsu specialist for me to teach, isn't that quite the bad set up Sanosuke thought to himself as he cracked his shoulders. The kid was rearing to go even though he didn't even know what to do yet. Sanosuke did the polite thing and took of his boots and left them outside of the dojo before advancing anywhere closer to the student. Throwing off his overcoat, Sanosuke stretched his arms so he had a better range in movement.

"Hey kid before we start how about you tell me a bit about yourself. I hate for us to practice without not know the name of the kid I'm suppose to be teaching" Sanosuke said boredly as he placed his sword back in its sheathe and rested the tip of his sheathed sword on the ground so Sanosuke can just lean his chin on the hilt of his sword. Guessing from his stance he was taking, it looked as though he wouldn't be using his hands at all in this spar. Risky move for a genin, he must be good. "I'm impressed kid, didn't think there were others who knew black leg style"

Menda waited patiently as the man spoke still in his stance prepared for combat even though it seemed as though the jounin let his guard down already. He figured a small amount of conversation would have started during the training but seeing as the man showed no sign of starting right this second menda backed up slightly slipping his hands into his pocket and putting his weight on the wall relaxing slightly. He smiled and looked to the ground for a moment when the man complimented his taijutsu style, Though the style was no extraordinary it was kind of a unique style and someone without knowledge to point that out was rare. Though this guy was a kenjutsu specialist it seemed he also had a decent amount of knowledge of taijutsu as well unsure why he knew it meant he would have to be even more cautious when fighting the ninja so that he wasn't too predictable.

"I'm Menda Zoji and I enjoy training and researching other clans."

Menda spoke softly but also quickly, Not asking the man his name he was obviously expecting him to speak and explain to Menda his name and interests but probably a little better then he did. Menda was very bad at talking to himself to other people something he needed to work on but didn't exactly know how, Menda was now looking in the direction of the man but not looking directly at him more around him as he waited for him to reply.

"Not many people train here" Sanosuke replied as he walked closer to the boy to get a better look at him. When he was satisfied he walked around the dojo and whistled loudly with his two fingers. When he did that two female servants arrived and bowed before Sanosuke asking him what he would have them do. Well with Daisuke Akako, his idol of kenjutsu, gone, Sanosuke accidently and unintentionally obtained the title of strongest swordsman of Kumo. That was a title that the Akako Clan respected, so the servants started treating him like an idol. It took Sanosuke a while for him to get used to the treatment but he did, and the fact that he's surrounded by beautiful women was a plus of being a rockstar to this clan.

"Get 2 bentos and some sake for us to enjoy once I've trained this new kid. Can you do that for me, please ladies?" Sanosuke asked with a wink. The girls looked further at the ground as though they had x-ray vision to hide their crimson faces from Sanosuke's eyes. They each nodded before walking away stiffly, giggling madly as they were out of sight of Sanosuke.

Turning his attention to the boy whose name, if he can recall correctly was Zoji. Yawning, Sanosuke took leaned up and leaned his sheathed sword on across his shoulder. "Well I guess I should tell you who I am. The name's Flynt, Sanosuke Flynt. I'm here to help you train in taijutsu. Now then your exercise is simple..." Sanosuke began to introduce himself as he slid the sheathe off his sword and tossed it to his right. The sheathe bounced before it landed square on the ground. Tracing his fingers along his sword, a small coat of chakra was wrapped around the blade of his sword. Once he was done, he pointed the tip his blade at the genin.

"You have to survive 10 minutes against me. Don't worry this blade won't cut you" Sanosuke began to say with a smirk "To make things first, I'll allow you the choice that you will never get in combat: Attack me first from any side, or allow me to strike. You're choice."

Chakra- 305/315, Jutsu Used:

As the ninja approached him Menda tensed up slightly unsure of what was about to happen he was ready to dodge or counter attack at any moment. Waiting a moment as he kept his eyes locked on the ninja he simply walked away from menda and instead began to whistle loudly. Unsure of what was about to happen menda was startled by the appearance of the two women that appeared, Menda had no idea that this ninja has some sort of affiliation with the dojo but that had to mean he was a much more skilled kenjutsu user then menda originally thought. He requested bentos and sake for the two of them once they were finished with the training reminding menda that he had actually not eaten anything yet today his stomach rumbling a little bit when he mentioned food. At this point menda actually expected him not to say his name at all and simply get to the training but it seemed just as the man removed the sheathe of his sword and began for combat he mentioned that his name was Sanosuke Flynt.

Touching his blade after he spoke Sanosuke coated his blade in chakra and made sure to tell menda that he blade was safe to touch as it would not cut him. Though menda was willing to take his word for it he was definitely going to treat it as if it was just as deadly as a normal sword was to keep him on his toes and make the fight more realistic. Exacting him to engage in combat as soon as he finished speaking menda took a step forward putting his hands in his pockets prepared for the first attack of the battle however instead the shinobi asked him if he would like the first attack or not. When he said this it made menda a little bit nervous and now unsure of his originally idea, Though he was going to wait for sanosuke to attack first now that the ninja asked him which he wanted to do it made him wonder if this was his way of the ninja trying to tell him it was better to get the first attack or that he just didn't notice menda was waiting. At this point menda knew he was over thinking the situation shaking his head slightly and smiling to himself his decision was made staying in the position he was already in he spoke and prepared for the attack that was to follow.

"You attack first."

An eyebrow rose as he looked at Menda up and down, this kid was quite gutsy. This genin had the training task of to just survive against the onslaught of attacks that Sanosuke was planning to unleash upon the genin. It would be a smart move if he attacked Sanosuke; after all he did make it known that he would allow the genin to attack him from any angle he chose. The end would have been the same, he would have been knocked on his ass from a single technique and that would put Menda in a hard position to block another attack from Sanosuke. If that was true, then this kid was smarter than Sanosuke actually gave credit. Then again he might have allowed for Sanosuke to attack first to see what fighting style Sanosuke uses for an effective way to strike. So many strategies, so little time. Sanosuke thought to himself as he readied his sword.

"Fine then, have it your way!" Sanosuke said as he dashed at Menda at jounin like speeds. Moving this fast was something that was hardly necessary for combating a genin; but he did this so that he can alarm the genin he was fighting. His own training with swords and his own movement has improved greatly, in fact it's to the point where Sanosuke was surprised at how fast he was moving at his speed. In no time, Sanosuke was already directly in front of Menda and swung his sword downwards upon the genin's left shoulder. The sword was quickly approaching its target, right now Sanosuke was restricting his power by about 50% so he wouldn't break any of the boy's bones in case his strike actually struck true. The last thing he needed was to explain to the genin's parents, if he had any since orphaned ninjas aren't as strange as people make it out to be.

Menda watched the man closely, Waiting for him to make a movement in menda's direction so that he would be able to either defend himself or to dodge and allow himself an attack. The man seemed to be analyzing menda possibly thinking out his attack much like menda thought about how he would choice who to attack first. Fighting a ninja of a higher rank meant that there was little room for error and even in training he would have to make every move count and make sure to keep his focus on the ninja standing just feet away from him.

"Fine then, have it your way!"

With these words menda felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness as the training between his first jounin sensei and himself began. The sudden movement of sanosuke charging at menda gave him little time to react. His reflexes allowed him to dodge out of the way as the ninja closed in to attempt to strike. Instead of simply dodging menda crouched down while also moving to the left lifting his body on his hands he began to spin his right leg in a motion away from the charging ninja and towards his back to kick him hopefully shoving him forward and off balance while also keeping his left leg straight into the air to allow menda multiple ways to retaliate if needed. Though a common black leg technique required that menda use a single hand to hold himself up to possibly switch hands and reverse the windmill kick and kick him in the front as well he knew this would be a more safe attack and possibly a successful one. Keeping his eyes on the ninja even though he was upside down he could see him making a motion for a shoulder attack which would have been an easy attack to follow up with multiple attacks possibly being very dangerous in a real fight he felt his decision was a smart one.

That was quite the feat that Menda did to dodge his attack with the sword. Sanosuke didn't anticipate for him to be so flexible and nimble when he dodged the sword swing of Sanosuke's arm. The kid was spinning around on the ground and attempting to surprise the jounin. It was true that Sanosuke wasn't much experienced with fighting people who is experienced in black leg fighting style, but Sanosuke was a quick learner. It seemed as though it relied on quick movements and nimble feats. If Sanosuke was fighting someone else, he knew that his strike would hit hi mark. Now this kid was attempting to counter attack. Quite the daring move, but Sanosuke wouldn't let his guard down for a single instant or else he might actually get knocked on his ass by a genin.

Positioning his sword so that the blade was facing away from Menda, Sanosuke aligned his left forearm alonged the flat of his blade so that when Menda kicked at Sansouke he hit the other side of Sanosuke's sword. Metal rung at the sound of the blow, that was some kick that Menda pulled off. If Sanosuke didn't block it in this fashion then he might have not been able to block the strike so easily. By doing this, Sanosuke did this so that Menda's spinning would be halted. With Menda's spinning ceased by the block, he would be wide open for a strike. "You're wide open!" Sanosuke announced and whipped his sword around so that the point was pointing at Menda's chest. Throwing his weight into his attack, Sanosuke attempted to stab down upon Menda's chest.

Menda watched as the ninja menaouvered himself to block menda's counter attack using the back of his blade the sound of blade being struck ringing out the vibrations flowing through menda. Sanosuke completely stopped menda's spin which meant now would be the best time to prepare for another evasive movement to avoid an incoming attack. Crouching down slightly he waited for a moment just after sanosuke announced that he was wide open he then used his arms to push himself off of the ground throwing himself behind where menda was originally to dodge the incoming stab towards his torso. Though the landing wasn't perfect landing on one foot the one he kept straight bending it slightly for the landing to prevent his weight from possibly injuring it he got back onto his feet not attacking this time.

Simple tactics weren't going to work on a jounin with this much experience and he knew he would have to find some way to get the advantage but he wasn't sure how yet. Menda stayed focused sanosuke again expecting another attack almost immediately he knew he had to be prepared to dodge or preform an attack if he could.

It was time to really turn up the pressure on the genin. Just when Menda dodged his slash quite hastily, Sanosuke let his sword bump into the ground. Normally, a swordsman would have recoiled from the bump of the blade and thus would got back into a stance where they would be able to get suited into a position where they could prepare for another strike at their oponent. This time Sanosuke, ignored the recoil from his strike and dashed at Menda without hesitation and rose his sword high above his head and swooped his blade diagonally in an attempt to cleave the legs of Menda. He was a taijutsu user who relied on his legs for attacks; it was simple: Take out the legs, take out the fighter.

Menda watched as the blade he successfully dodged struck the floor of the dojo expecting an instant reaction menda was prepared to dodge again. Though menda was out of range of his attack the instant the swordh it the ground the jounin charged towards menda direction, Shocked at how quickly he reacted menda had no choice but to roll underneath the blade as he lifted it high to avoid the diagnal slash coming towards his body. After finishing his roll he put his body onto one foot and spun sweeping towards sanosukes feet to attempt to knock him to the ground.

The sweep kick was new and as such he didn't really expect to see aovenlike that. As Sanosuke pointed out he wasn't too experience with taijutsu. Samosuke knew how to avoid it. Blocking wasn't an option to him at the moment, he could easily do it but Sanosuke wanted Menda to actually feel the pressure of being pushed against the wall in combat. To demonstrate this he couldn't block Menda's blow or else it would slow down the combo of relentless attacks that Sanosuke wanted the genin to experience. Leaping over Sanosuke angled his body so he would be samursaulting in middle air right over top Menda while he was down and aimed several slashes at the genin in hopes to catch him off guard. Each swing, Sanosuke made sure, increased in power and speed for a total of 5 swings of his sword.

Menda was not expecting the ninja to jump into the air to avoid the attack instead of blocking or getting hit by his ground sweep kick but he was prepared, As the ninja lifted up in the air turning to menda to unleash a flurry of slashes menda used the foot he was balanced on to roll himself to the side rolling only once before he made his way back to his feet keeping his eyes on the shinobi as soon as his rolled finished. It was obvious now this fight was getting much more intense menda's nervousness was transforming into anxiousness as he tried to run back slightly to put some distance between the two. As he did he remembered he needed only last 10 minutes and this meant that while he could attack he didn't need to attempt to beat his sensei by attacking him.

As much as he wanted to show this swordsman that he was a skilled taijutsu user he was attacking with such speed and strength his windows for attack were becoming smaller and more dangerous even if the sword was dull he wanted to avoid being struck for the duration if it was possible.

1817/2000

The kid was running away from him. His pressure tactic was indeed working. Menda was feeling the pressure from all the attacks Sanosuke was throwing at him. Also he was having too much fun toying with the genin. The kid knew how to move and as such he would commend the kid later. It seemed as though it's been about 8 minutes since he challenged Menda with this exercise. There were only 2 minutes left and he would make those 2 minutes hell for the genin. Dashing at Menda immediately after he retreated from the jounin to get some breathing room, Sanosuke got close to Menda so that he couldn't possibly throw a well aimed kick at Sanosuke. His sword was dragging against the ground as he ran, when he was close enough for him to swing with Menda having a difficult time with landing a solid kick on him, Sanosuke swung his sword horizontally for a blow to Menda's ribs in an attempt to send him flying to the wall of the dojo.

Menda's attempt to create a gap did nothing for him as sanosuke closed in on him quickly his sword dragging the ground alerting menda of the fast approaching ninja. Going for a swing toward menda ribs quickly reaching the rolled below the swing of the blade and continued to sprint around the dojo as he waited for a real opportunity to strike or the time to be up. While menda wanted to use a mucus ability to attempt to trap the ninja then attack him he knew that this would only slow him down and make him much more vulnerable for far too long.

He felt as if they had been fighting for ages unsure of what the actual time was he could tell the shinobi was trying much harder to hit him and being much more aggressive which meant time was almost up which was great because he was quickly becoming exhausted. Menda was now running directly towards a wall of the dojo while looking back to see what the shinobi behind him would do.

The single steps that Menda was taking to run was humourus. No matter what he would do, Sanosuke was sure he could strike him down. Instead of skitting backwards so that his back wasn't completely exposed to Sanosuke, he was running forward in a desperate attempt to widen the gap between him and Sanosuke. The jounin didn't have time to adjust his momentum of his swing and righted himself. The way that he swung his sword had to make him be content with dashing at Menda with his right arm holding his sword going diagonally accros his chest, the tip of his sword parralel to the ground as he moved swiftly. It wasn't long until Sanosuke had caught up with the retreating genin.

The dojo they were sparring in was small so the genin couldn't have moved that freely. Menda was trapped like a rat, in the small box that is labeled "dojo." When he was close enough, he stopped running and aimed a slash at Menda's torso. Sanosuke steppped closer this time so that his strike would be more likely to strike. The boy was obviously showing signs of fatigue so his reaction time should be slower. It was only a matter of time before he was struck down by his blade.

As much as menda wanted to avoid the attack all the fighting and running he had been doing made him much too tired to be able to dodge out of the way in time his slow body being stuck on the back by the chakra dulled blade. Still running the strike did knock him off balance onto the ground thought he got back up quickly after the strike he was hoping that the amount of time required to stay in a fighting with the jounin had passed or he would have to spend even more time running around the dojo like his chicken with his head cut off attempting to keep himself away from the ninja.
