Midnight

Midnight

D-rank
OOC Disclaimer:

Today was the day. The time was just right, and the weather was permissible. Well, that wasn't entirely true. The wind was actually rather low for a plateau, and and the time was a bit earlier than what should have been expected for him to arrive, he was really early even by his standards to finish up work. Plus, there was one extra with him, so today was actually more of an irregularity than a norm. Even so! The time spent here was surely going to be that of a grand day for all involved. The time was still well before noon, and the chill from the night and the moisture from the morning dew was still present. There was plenty of time to get a lot of training done for the day. Plus, if everything was going well, then they might as well just continue on into night. Nothing like a long training session to improve stamina!

That being said, Kiti was still young, so he'd have to make the most improvement out of all of them. Midnight was confident that he'd do fine. As for himself... there might not be much improvement going on, but he would certainly be learning about his villagers more personally and would be making sure that they were much stronger. There was always the chance of actually learning something from them as well, so there was that if he was lucky. He was sure that he could help Sanosuke most considering his specializations, but Hiromasa would be a bit more difficult in that his specialties weren't exactly a good pair with his own. Since Sano and Hiro seemed to be acquainted with each other, though, it might not be that hard.

Since Midnight had arrived, with Kiti in tow, all that was left was for him to make up a training regimen. Midnight thought about it for a moment, but then dismissed the thought. That was far too boring, and not like him. While it would be easy to make a regimen more fun depending on how they get it done, it wouldn't be fun in itself. Besides that, Midnight really just wanted to spar with them. Surely that would be amusing to him at least.

That sounds rather mean. Beating up his students for his own pleasure... It would do them good to know what it's like to be close to death. Considering one of his swords' ability, it would most certainly do them well to get them acquainted to pain. Emotional pain wouldn't be something he could teach, but physical pain would be easy. With his fuuinjutsu, he could teach them to deal without having all their senses. Then there was his daggers. Those would be really fun to play with. Midnight couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the thought of actually getting to use his weapons at least a little bit more seriously than in training and on actual people, too.

The landscape was rather bare. No one had come up to the plateau yet, it seemed. This was good. Midnight had only just arrived himself, so it was good that no one else was here, making him late. The flat land of the plateau would be great for sparring with swords, but perhaps a place with a bit more obstacles would be better later on, since interacting within a more likely environment would be better, but for now the basics would be best for them. At least, Midnight supposed so, he didn't have an estimation of their power just yet, so he was likely underestimating all of them. He would have to find out sooner or later, so now was the time. All that was left was for Hiro and Sano to arrive, then they could get started. Get started on this wonderful day of fighting as training, that is.

Sanosuke

Sanosuke

D-rank
Yawning loudly, Sanosuke stirred himself from his bed so that he was now completely awake. It was morning and Sanosuke was fired up, in fact he leaped off from his bed and reached as far as he can to the roof of the cave he was sleeping in. There was a satisfying pop in his back as he finished stretching. Another yawn escaped Sanosuke's mouth as he scratched his back and made a beeline to his wardrobe so that he can get out his signature hooded short sleeved overcoat and put it on himself. He fixed it so that it was properly on and got his kunai holster and tied it on his right bicep so that it wouldn't fall off easily. He did the same thing with with his Kumogakure headband but this time Sanosuke tied it to his right bicep.

He was getting really pumped for this, he was finally going to train with his sensei and his squad. There was quite the possibility of him fighting his sensei head to head so he couldn't hold back. Taking hold of his sword, Sanosuke slipped it on his shoulder and secured it properly. It was time to rock this joint. Sanosuke rotated his shoulders to get out the cracks and strains of his arms as he walked out of his home so that he would be able to walk to the grounds.

Trying his best to recall what his sensei the Raikage told him. He said that they were going to train together at a place called the Battle Plateau. He heard about the place before from older shinobi while he hung out at the Sky Bar when he needed a break from training. It was located in the middle of the village surrounded by rocks. Actually Sanosuke saw the damn thing before. He thought it was just some sort of building that the village decided to build without any real purpose. Who would've thought that the weird as building actually a training ground where shinobi would train in. He would definitely have to check it out sometime.

As he walked up the mountain trail he actually began to think what kind of training his sensei Midnight had planned for him and Hiromasa. Hopefully something that would make Hiromasa and Sanosuke work together to come up with some sort of bad ass jutsu together. On their last mission together, him and Hiro didn't have the time to work together since they were each battling their own thug(well Sanosuke had to fight two of them but that wasn't the point). Hiro was a genjutsu specialist and Sanosuke wasn't half to shabby with the ways of Kenjutsu. So if they worked together then maybe they could come up with a sick combination that utilized both of their strengths.

Spinning his sword around, he saw the Battle Plateau and it was the first time that Sanosuke had actually seen this place so close. It was pretty big. Sanosuke walked in and saw his teacher in the distance. "Oh good I'm not the only one here. Hope you got something fun for us sensei" Sanosuke said as he approached the Raikage. Even though the he was the Raikage and thus the ruler of Kumo, he had to really work to earn Sanosuke's respect. Respect was something that wasn't given just because of their position.

Hiromasa

Hiromasa

Hiromasa glared angrily at his curtain as it allowed ever more sunlight to pass through it turning over, covering himself in blankets, nothing stopped the steady progress of the day. With an audible groan, he rolled out of bed, grunting as he hit the floor. Picking himself up off the floor, he groggily changed into his shinobi outfit, still smiling at the sight of his head protector and the familiar weight of the throwing weapons in his sleeves. Shaking his head as he put on his shoes in a failed attempt to clear his mind, he ambled down the stares into the kitchen and ate...something. For all he was aware of it could've been a cat and he'd not have noticed, his body on autopilot.

Frowning at the full light of the sun as he stepped outside, he began wandering aimlessly, trying to decide what to do. It occurred to him that he had either not been given a specific time to meet up on the plateau, or that he'd simply forgotten. Might as well take a walk past it to confirm that no one else had shown up yet and then do as he pleased for a couple of hours before returning to wait. Awakening more with each step as his body began warming up, he wondered what kind of training the Raikage had in mind for the first day.

Running his fingers along the cut he'd received the day before, he hoped that knife wasn't going to be making another appearance. Even knowing that it existed, he didn't think any amount of preparation could prepare him to react fast enough to dodge something he hadn't even seen the last time. Still, that did reveal a weakness of his:Projectile weapons. He would need to come up with a plan for dealing with such things, and perhaps his sensei could assist on that front.

Arriving at his destination, he frowned, apparently being the last to show up. Nothing to be done for it now, though. "Good morning Sensei! How goes, Sano?" he greeted them cheerily, casually tossing a pair of shuriken at Midnight. As punching each other had been a bonding measure between Rock Lee and Might Guy, unannounced ranged weapon attacks would serve as a greeting for those of his team...or it could be just him trying in vain to initiate a tradition, but it would most likely not be lethal to try.
