Mission:

Another day, another mission, and Sunadokei stood patiently in line at the Mission Assignment Desk awaiting her turn to see what the assignment staff would task her with this time. If it involved helping someone with menial labor on another D-Rank Mission, she was seriously going to tear her hair out. The line was moving quickly, which was never a good thing. It meant the staff had no complicated missions to assign, things that took a great deal of explanation on their part. Suddenly a thought crept into her mind. Oh no, what if she got another night patrol? They were the worst thing imaginable, after starvation of course. Eight hours of mindlessly marching about empty streets while the city slept around her. No shops to browse, no restaurants to eat at, nothing happening but alley cats fighting and the occasional young punks out after curfew.

"Next." The Jōnin proctor for the day was an elder member of the Hyūga clan, Sunadokei could tell just as much by his stoic disposition as his telltale silver-white eyes. Those eyes, they seemed to gaze right through you to your soul. There was something about Dōjutsu that Sunadokei had always admired. Both because their beautiful patterns and colors, but also for their ability to weaponize a part of the body few shinobi could. That said, Sunadokei wouldn't trade her own kekkei genkai for the world. She couldn't bare the thought of not being able to eat as much as she did, or the tragedy that her figure would be. She was still daydreaming about Dōjutsu when she stepped up to the Assignment Committee Desk. Maybe someday she'd face down a Missing-nin with a Dōjutsu, kill them, and take their eyes for herself. Transplants weren't unheard of. And the Akimichi's longstanding friendship with the Nara clan gave them some of the village's best medical-ninjutsu specialists in their back pockets.

"Akimichi, Sunadokei, Genin, D-Rank, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu specializations." The Hyūga Jōnin rattled off the information from Sunadokei's dossier while she was still lost in her thoughts, envisioning herself with her fashionable new red and black eyes. "Patrol Duty." He said simply, which snapped the young woman back to reality. Her heart sank and a lump caught in her thought, though she tried to mask it as Sunadokei took the mission scroll in hand. "A standard C-Rank Assignment, no frills, you have the evening shift. Report to your station by eleven, you will be assigned a partner, and your designated borough is listed in the scroll." He rattled off his last instructions, to which Sunadokei simply nodded along, tucking the scroll into her cleavage  without so much as reading it.

"Thank you for this mission, I promise to complete it to the best of my ability." Sunadokei stated her words on autopilot, giving a short bow before turning to leave. The Jōnin called for the next shinobi, as the Akimichi woman made her way for the door. It wasn't patrols she hated, it was nightly patrols. During the day there were businesses open, and with a carefully planned route she could run a continuous circuit that hit ever noodle shop and cafe on her path. Continuously snacking at every chance, since she wouldn't be allowed a proper amount of time to sit down and eat a decent lunch. But the nightly shifts... they were cold, frequently damp, and worst of all, dreadfully boring. Nothing ever happened, and you couldn't even watch a bustling street or the people going about their day. On the rare occasions something did happen, It was usually some petty burglar who could be easily subdued and handed off to the Military Police with ease. All in all, night patrol usually amounted to eight boring hours spent walking about, with no food available but whatever snacks the shinobi brought.

Sunadokei's second worst nightmare had become reality, and her day was already ruined. She returned home in a huff, curling up in bed with her old black tom cat Tōzoku. While her kitty was eager to cuddle and catnap, his mistress did so only out of necessity. Night missions screwed up her sleep schedule, and she found it better just to get ahead of that early. When she awoke it was dinner time, the scent of fresh cooked food rousing her him her sleep. Her father Makaro was absent from the family dinner table, the head of the Akimichi clan out on an A-Rank assignment with Squad Ino-Shika-Cho. Sunadokei did not expect him to be back for several days, as she'd overhead him telling her mother they were pursuing a criminal from the Hokage's Bingo Book.

Since she would not have the opportunity to visit one ramen shop after another, Sunadokei naturally made the most of dinner. Gorging herself as best she could, she walked away from the family feast considerably swollen in her now snug fitting kimono. She'd care more about the distending effects of so much food on her curvaceous figure if she wasn't going to be mostly alone wandering around the dark for the better part of the evening. Besides, by sunrise she'd have more than digested her meal and worked off enough calories to slim back down to her normally absurdly voluptuous figure. Until then she was fine looking like she was heavily pregnant, as her belly full of food was the last hot meal she was going to get until breakfast.

Sunadokei hugged her mom goodbye for the evening, gathering up her things and changing into a slightly larger 'post dinner' kimono as well as adding a warm black undershirt and leggings. It was chilly out, and there wasn't anyone to appreciate her flaunting bare skin on patrol anyways. So warmth and modest triumphed over revealing and alluring attire. Half past ten and Sunadokei was out the door, she took her sweet time getting to the meeting point. The Genin of the previous shift were there, playing a game of darts with their kunai using an old cork board they'd scrounged from the garbage. Trying to kill time before the next shift came to relieve them. Sunadokei smirked as she caught their eyes wandering over her chest, and made small talk with the men until it was their time to depart for home. Now all alone she slumped down next to a torchlight, her sizable rear acting as an ample cushion. With nothing better to do until he partner showed up and they could begin their patrol, Sunadokei retrieved a candy bar from one of her pockets, unwrapping the tasty treat and took a bite. "I hope they show up soon." She mumbled to herself through a mouthful of food. "Because this is always ten times more boring alone..."

The day had gone fairly well for Yojo up until now. He'd woken up on a surprisingly good side of the bed. The Uchiha compound was empty for the most part, giving him free reign to walk around the gardens and enjoy the silence as much as he pleased. He had his pair of cats, Kiki and Mochi, the black house panthers of his home and the budding nin-neko he was raising. They always slept on his bed, staying close to him, rubbing their faces against his head as he gradually came out of deep sleep. Things were finally starting to look up for him in the grand scheme of things. He was getting closer to being promoted to B-rank, to a Tokujo, closer and closer to shedding the title of Chunin. It made him feel excited, truthuflly. He wasn't doomed to be stuck as an eternal Genin or an eternal Chunin. Soon enough, he'd be a Jonin going on important missions for the village. He could see his career ahead of him now, just him and the wide open road... Just him, his cats, and himself. He smiled at the thought as he sat up out of bed and looked out the window.

After a quick shower and a quicker breakfast, Yojo rubbed his twin cats behind the ears in an affectionate manner. "Watch the place while I'm gone. Don't burn the place down" he joked, stepping out onto the cobblestone path leading from his personal estate within the compound. Supposedly, long ago, this place was teeming with Uchiha, filled to the brim with them. Now, there was just him, living here with the ghosts of a long since dead tribe. He was one of the last, or perhaps one of the first of the new breed- he couldn't tell. Either way, he felt as though he belonged here with the other ghosts of the past. Supposedly, there was another Uchiha who lived here as well, a blonde by the name of Kirei, but Yojo had yet to meet them. All the houses had been empty, so he'd just picked the biggest one he liked the most and claimed it as his own. It was free real estate. He passed through the red torii gate at the front of the walled off compound before joining the flow of villagers walking too and fro. It was another day in the Leaf.

After a moderate walk, the Uchiha appeared in front of the Village Shinobi Headquarters. It was still morning, and thankfully that meant he didn't need to wait that long of a line to get his mission. The elderly Hyuga who was on call today had a glimmer of interest that appeared as he saw the lone Uchiha enter the room. "Oho, if it isn't the one-man Joe clan". He said in a somehwat condescending tone, though this melted into something closer to a chuckle. "How about you drop that silly name and call yourself a Uchiha? I have a granddaughter who's been asking about you, multiple granddaughters in fact. A marriage between our families would go a long way to rebuilding your cla-" the old man started. This was exactly the kind of shit that he'd been expecting to get. One of the weird things that Yojo hadn't been fully expecting since learning his heritage was just how interested all these old clan heads were in trying to match him with their kids, both for the sheer prestige of breeding into the Uchiha clan, as well as possibly inheriting one of the strongest dojutsu in the world.

"I told you the first time when I was recovering after the chunin exams with broken bones, I told you after I was promoted to Chunin, and I'll tell you again now. The answer is no" Yojo responded, "Now give me a mission so I can get away from you old creeps fighting over my body" he said, matching the Hyuga's deep frown of disapproval. "Very well, boy. Patrol duty, night time shift. If you can't appreciate the finer women of this village, perhaps you'll be better suited to the more base ones who live in the red-lit alleyways of the night" he said. Yojo looked the paper over, clicking his tongue and putting it into his pocket. "That's just it though, old man, that's why those are the better ones" he explained, turning around to leave. The Hyuga didn't say anything. Yojo could teel that the man was glaring into the back of his head. "At least with a hooker you can pay her to leave you the hell alone" he shouted, stepping out of the base and into the midday sun. He was irriated with scenarios like that. Why did everyone think he had to be the one to save his entire clan from extinction? Didn't he have it hard already just trying to be a shinobi?

The day flew by after that. He got lunch at the ramen place he always went to, same order as always: mild broth with extra chicken, potstickers, and mochi ice cream. It was the meal of champions, and seeing as how he was the champion of his Chunin Exams, he felt like it had worked well for him so far. After his meal, Yojo went about running errands for much the rest of the day. He stocke dup on food, grabbed some training supplies to keep around the house, went to the market, all the bits and bobs of life. It was only once all that had been stored away in his home that he finally set out to the rendevouz point. With a quicky made PB&J dinner, he had enough energy to go on patrol and not have low blood sugar whilst doing it.

When the Uchiha finally arrived at the site, he found his partner waiting for him. Immediately upon seeing her in the nighttime light, he recognized just who it was he'd been paired up with. His heart rose, then sank, then rose again. He barely knew Sunadokei, he'd worked with her during their last mission. Still, her voluptuous form, her uparalelled curves, and her enormous chest, hips, and rear were dead giveaways to him. She sat underneath a torchlight eating a candybar, her ample rear acting like a literal pillow. He paused, stepping into the light at the edge of her field of vision, appearing under the torchlight. "Care to share?" he asked, tilting his head as he looke dher over. She was an interestng woman, unlike any of the others he'd met as an adult. She had the body of a goddess, and yet the tenacity and stubborness of a warrior. He respected her for that duality, he liked her innately. "It's good to see you again, Sunadokei" he greeted, offering a small smile as he looked to make eye contact with her and hold their gaze as one for a short while. Maybe tonight wouldn't be so dreary after all?

Sunadokei's ears perked as she heard footsteps approach. Normally she'd be more tensed by the sound, it was the middle of the night after all. But she knew well enough the only person it could possibly be was her patrol partner, so she merely remained seated and continued enjoying her snack at her leisurely pace. She turned her head to face the approaching stranger, though her eyes lit up when he came into view. Yoshihiro! The handsome Chūnin from the fire temple mission she'd been enlisted to just days prior. She hadn't expected to see him, or his dream red eyes, quite so soon. "Nope." Sunadokei said playfully when asked if she'd share. She swallowed up the remaining half of her candy bar in one large bite just to prove her point, barely pausing to chew.

The curvaceous kunoichi could feel her friend's eyes wandering up and down her figure. She didn't mind, in fact she relished when men admired her impressive curves. It made her feel wanton and desired, and stroked her vanity and great pride. "I brought plenty more, but you'll have to ask nicely if you want me to share. Even an Uchiha is not exempt from saying his please and thank you's." Sunadokei spoke in a faux motherly tone, wagging her finger in front of her face to help illustrate her point. "Like what you see?" The woman asked flirtatiously, as she slowly rose back to her feet. She acutely became aware of her incredibly bloated figure as she stood upright though. It didn't seem as bad when sitting, but back on her feet her swollen stomach made her look heavily pregnant. She blushed slightly, there was nothing that could be done for that right now.

"If I'd known I was being partnered with you, I wouldn't have eaten such a big dinner." Sunadokei stated sheepishly, patting her full belly. "Ok that's a lie, I totally would have. But I hope I don't look too fat to you." Despite what she said, not an ounce of her feasting had found its way to the woman's face or arms. Both remained slender and thin. Sunadokei had a heart shaped face, with a delicate chin and toned, slender arms that betrayed the true strength of muscles. She leaned in close, giving Yoshihiro a quick hug from the side, doing her best not to completely smother him. All the same her belly still pressed against his flank and her breasts squished heavily against his chest and shoulder. She withdrew in a second, smiling contently at the fellow shinobi.

"It's good to see you again Yoshihiro. Or do I get to call you Yoshi? Or maybe Hiro... Hmm? You were certainly my hero on that mission." She chuckled at the pun, still smiling sweetly even as she turned away. "You're late by the way, but you're cute so I'll let it go this time. We should probably get to our mission." Sunadokei said with a sigh, as she began to walk down the street to the north. As she moved every step had a prominent sway to her wide, childbearing hips. Her figure moving in pendulous motion to compensate for the cheer enormity of her voluptuous curves. "Try to keep up Uchiha, unless you just want to stare at my ass all night. I figure we can talk to pass the time. I bet we've got a lot to talk about." Sunadokei alternated between her playful, flirtatious tone and her authoritative presence. "Having you as my partner makes this fun, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna slack off. Once we hit the north edge of our patrol sector we can loop around clockwise. I want the first pass done in an hour, and I don't feel like running. So that means we better get moving." With one last, intentional pop of the hips she was gone, slipping out of the torch light as she began heading north down the dimly lit street.

Yojo watched as the Akimichi girl stood up, refusing him his attempt at free candy, but teasing him with soemthing else that was perhaps even sweeter. Admittedly, he shouldn't have been all too surprised by the flirting that the girl was doing, it had been known between them since their first mission that it was going to be the norm between them both. Plus, with the way her bosom put the rest of Konoha to shame, he would not deny that she was a paragon of beauty. "Yes" he simply replied in a firm, matter of fact tone. He liked what he saw, he'd let her know that much. He knew that she wasn't 'fat' per se, she hadn't any cellulite, he knew that her clan's physiology made labels like that somewhat meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Their bodies were as fickle and changing as the rivers of Hi no Kuni, a trait that most non-clan members likely craved. He gave a small smile at seeing the way Sunadokei blushed and acted almost embaressed at her current size, it was endearing in a way. He appreciated her honesty. "I don't think so. The Genin would certainly call you, what's the word for it?- Thicc" he explained, struggling to remember what the young bucks were calling the kunoichi of their squads. For all the seriousness and danger that shinobi lived, there was always an equal amount of lustful intrigue as their was lethal action.

He looked down at her as he came to a halt. He was taller than her by a good margin, certainly enough to need to tilt his head to meet her gaze when they were standing together. He was muscular, tall, and handsome, that was pretty much it. Yojo accepted her hug, briefly wrapping his arms around her waist as she embrace him. He was a tad taken back by the sudden show of affection, but didn't reject it outright. "Yojo will do. I don't really believe in heroes anymore" he said, his smile fading into a more calm and blank expression as he stood in front of her. He nodded as she signalled them to get on with their mission, his gaze drifting down to look intently at the wide hips she sported. They must've been enough to use as a wrecking ball if they were suspended in the air. He kept his gaze on them for a bit longer after she called him out, walking alongside her soon afterwards. "It's a tempting proposition" he admitted, the night air nipping at them both as they began their patrol. He looked around the empty streets, spying the lit windows of villagers tucked in for the night. It seemed most people were off to sleep or about to be, which meant he and Sunadokei, barring the odd passerby, were very much alone as they patrolled the area. Still, he kept his guard up a tad, never knowing what might be just around the corner.

He realized he'd been quiet for a while, that somewhat antisocial aloofness bubbling up from his subconscious. He tried to make some small talk with the more extroverted woman. "You are an Akimichi, so how much do you eat in one sitting?" he asked, still looking ahead as he continued along their patrol path. He didn't know much about the clan or their Kekei Genkai, only that it was one of the oldest and most noble of the villages. "Do you store most of your extra weight in your breasts and your rear?" he asked bluntly, wondering about the chakra-related aspects of it all. He was no medical-nin, yet as one who crafted his own jutsu with pride, the prospect of learning about something so foreign to him was intriguing. He paused to let her respond and make whatever counters she saw fit. He'd hum in thought, most likely, taking it all in as he tried to learn more about the strange woman. He decided to try and play her own game, at the very least to practice his clunky flirting game. He might be alright at responding our countering her advances, but actually doing it himself? That was a weak point. "If we finish quickly and go clockwise, I can show you one of the smaller shrines on the outskirts of the city. There are spider lillies blooming there this time of the year. It is dark and quiet, perfect for you to keep using your words to get what words alone cannot will not yield you" he said, trying to tie his words together. He might be only a smidge direct, far less than she, but hopefully she would pick up the main point of all this: he was interested in her.

Sunadokei blushed slightly, then grinned ear to ear at her friend's remarks. "Ha! Thicc? I get it, that's clever. I hadn't heard that before." She ran her hands along her heavy hourglass figure, giving her bust a heavy bounce as she finished. "I like it. I am very thicc." This Yoshihiro never failed to make her smile, he was quite the charmer. It helped that he was, despite his own personal grievances, a handsome young member of the famed Uchiha clan. Such a prominent clan, wielders of one of the Three Great Dōjutsu no less. He would be quite the catch, if she could get a ring on him.

Sunadokei blinked, realizing her thoughts. Was that really where her mind had wandered? Marriage? Kage protect her, she was starting to think like her mother. Was she getting old or was her biological clock just ticking? Either way, the tall Uchiha man she'd been partnered with was a charmer. She couldn't deny there was a certain... appeal to him. One she didn't mind indulging, or overindulging as was often her case. "Yojo huh? I like it, short and sweet. Just like me." Sunadokei teased as her friend hugged her back. "Everyone needs heroes. There must always be good in the world. The moment we stop believing in heroes, is the moment we stop trying to become them ourselves." Sunadokei was hardly wise, mostly parroting expressions her father or grandparents told her. But, that said she still had her moments of wisdom.

The curvaceous kunoichi giggled playfully at Yojo's comment about how tempting it was to just lag behind and stare at her massive derriere. "Oh, that tempting huh? I must be doing something right." She said, feigning surprise and giving her steps an extra helping of sway. The two carried out their patrol for a while, until Yojo decided to break the silence. "Huh? How much do I eat in one sitting?" That was quite the question. Sunadokei pressed a finger to her lips as she mentally counted calories. "I think I average about three thousand calories a meal, on a low end. I consider a dozen large bowls of ramen a light lunch. If I get an excuse to really cut loose, like a feast or a festival, I've eaten a pretty good portion of my body weight before in one sitting." Sunadokei said, thinking of how absurdly stuffed she'd gotten during the festival that welcomed the end of winter and the first days of spring. Her kimono had been nearly tearing at the seems and she practically had to roll her way home. If anyone asked her though, it was completely worth it.

Sunadokei smirked, turning to give her friend a very lustful gaze. "I might, I didn't think you noticed." She said teasingly, cupping her massive bust and giving it a playful bounce. "Most goes to my breasts and butt yes, but I don't leave my hips or thighs wanting. Though, eventually my belly does start to round out, my body just kinda runs out of places for it all. Not that I blame it." There was little Sunadokei liked talking about more than herself, and nothing she liked talking about of herself more than her figure. Even as she finished her explanation, Sunadokei gave her chest one last loving squeeze, deciding no one was watching but Yojo. She could afford to be a little lewd in public and still maintain privacy. One small perk to nightly patrols she mused.

The voluptuous woman realized what her friend was getting at the moment he said spider-lilies. Men never mentioned flowers in casual context unless they had one thing on their minds. She decided to play along, mostly. Just to see how things went. "Hmm... Maybe. The whole city is dark and quiet though, that's kind of the point of night time Yojo." Sunadokei giggled at her own comment, giving Yojo a playful bounce as she bumped him with her wide hips. "Still, the shrines sound lovely, it'd be a nice break from all this walking. Though I can't say I'm a huge fan of spider lilies. I'm more of a black lotus girl myself, not that they're ever in bloom..." With that Sunadokei picked up her pace slightly. It's not like they had anywhere else to be. So long as the patrol was done by the books in a timely manner, no one at the administration building would ever care about a small detour.

Yojo hummed as he looked around the dark streets of Konoha. Sunadokei was proving to be rather amicable company, especially with her rather outgoing personality. He wasn't even doing that abyssmally of a job at flirting. Perhaps he had more of a cassanova in him than he realized... Or at least was willing to admit. He puffed out his cheeks a tad as she spoke again, how could someone eat that much food? Sure he had the craving for a burger once and a while, but if she was eating close to three thousand calories at each meal then she had to average around ten thousand a day! That simple math was a bit nuts, and put into perspective the kind of lifestyle an Akimichi woman like her had to endure. "That's a lot of food" he simply said with a small nod, blinking expectantly as she managed to bring her hand back and return the serve he'd launched at her. It seemed she had a flirty streak to her, one that was finding a nice home between the two of them currently. He was a tad taken aback as she reached up and squeezed her breasts in front of him, his face running flush with blood. "Wow, they really are big. I bet you put the Hyuga girls to shame." He thought aloud as he walked alongside her. They were making an even pace along the dimly lit streets.

She bumped him, her sultry and teasing voice was accompanied by a bump of her hips against his. He stepped sideways a tad. She-She had some force in that thing that he wouldnt've expected. He exhaled hot air through his nose, "So you want me to  pull you into some alleyway or out in the middle of the street? At least let me try to make it a bit more romantic than that" he replied, having at least some idea in his head of what he wanted to say and do. The two of them picked up their pace a tad. The patrol around the edge of the city was more than uneventful, it was damn near dull. There was nothing going on at this hour of the night, it was so dull that even if there was some unforseeable ambush on the village, they'd still surely pick a more interesting time of night to attack. There wasn't much of a reason to stop them from taking a minor detour as they finished up this patrol. It wasn't like there was anyone after them who was in a rush to sprint along the village walls and remain on high alert. They were all taking graveyard shifts, at least fate could let him and Suna try to have some naive and foolish fun- what else were they supposed to be doing in the dark of the night? "I heard you're the heiress to your clan, right? Does that mean you have to marry your cousin? That sounds yucky". He said somewhat nonchalantly. He'd never really had to think about clan lineages and whatnot before, not until recently at least. He didn't like having to think about them for these exact reasons.

The shrine they arrived to was quiet. It was surrounded by a large wooden wall that obscured the courtyard garden inside. The wooden gate leading within was shut tight. The place was deserted for the night. Yojo looked along the wall, humming a tad. "Come on" he said, jumping up in a single stride onto the top of the wooden wall and stepping down onto the cobblestone path within. There was a rock garden, a large koi pond, and an arrangement of spiderlily flowers blooming beneath a cherry blossom tree. The scene was serene. He knew this place well, he'd come here since he was a kid, both when this place was open and when it was closed. This whole thing miiiiiight've constituted trespassing, but he was banking on whatever shinobi arts he had to keep him out of getting caught. "There" he said, pointing to the spider lillies with one finger, watching her take in the scenery. "It's okay. Nobody's ever here at this hour. It's just us and the spirits in here" he said, looking at Suna through the pale reflection of the moonlight. "So, what do you think?" he asked, stepping closer to her a tad as a warm expression appeared on his face. It was a double entendre of a question, but it was one he asked her anyways. It was so quiet here, so peaceful, and after so long of being on missions, he craved the tranquility of the whole scene. So, he stared at her, waiting, his eyes looking into hers as he waited for her reply.

Yojo seemed surprised when Sunadokei commented on her diet, she shrugged, brushing it off like it was nothing out of the ordinary. "Is it? It's not to me. I'd eat more but... I have to earn my own spending money. And I mostly get saddled with D-Rank missions. They barely pay my snack budget." She grinned ear to ear as her friend's face grew flush from her lewd display, flaunting her own expansive bust line. "Oh, I'm well aware just how big they are. Don't think I don't feel these great big, heavy round breasts bouncing on my chest with every step." Her tone got softer, and she leaned in closer, closer enough her chest lightly brushed against her friend's. "Don't think for one second I don't relish ever minute of it." Sunadokei said with a wink, blowing a kiss as she withdrew.

"You'd be correct in that guess Yojo. I put every Hyūga girl to shame, it's no contest really. Have you ever met them? They're practically skin and bones, not enough muscle, not enough meat on their body. I'd go so far as to say frail compared to an Akimichi." Sunadokei ran her hands down her curvaceous hourglass body, giving her wide childbearing hips a nice pop. "That Gentle Fist of theirs might be effective, but it doesn't bring any power behind it. No muscles, no weight. Not like this..." She said, raising a fist and expanding it until it was the size of a wrecking ball above her head.

In one clean motion she brought it down like a guillotine, looking to crush Yojo with it in one swift motion. As it drew close to his head though her arms shrank back to normal proportions, and the punch simply failed to connect. "Give me enough calories... and I'll punch mountains into rubble." Sunadokei said boastfully with a smug look on her face. This boast was backed by many truths, she had seen her father's Super Multi-Size Technique, and Yami Nara had once said he'd seen Makaro level an entire mountain side fortress with just a few well aimed blows. Someday Sunadokei hoped to do the same.

Sunadokei let out a scoff at her friend's teasing comment. "Pfft, pull me into the into the middle of the street? Yojo, we practically already are!" She said with a giggle, noting the two were strolling down the otherwise empty city streets on their uneventful patrol. Her expression quickly turned more seductive, and she gave the Uchiha a wanton look as she spoke. "Oh... you're trying to be romantic are you? Well, let's just say I've seen worst attempts." She picked up her pace, wishing to see what counted for romantic among the Uchiha clan. Sunadokei was no stranger to suitors, she brushed off most men's advances with deflecting words. But Yojo, he was a friend, and rather handsome. And from a proud bloodline, another noble clan. She couldn't help but day dream and fantasize about him impregnating her with the next generation of Uchiha's. Sunadokei shook her head slightly, brushing aside such lustful thoughts. They were still technically on a mission after all.

When Yoshihiro made the comment about Sunadokei's clan, and the  prospect of marrying her own cousin, she instantly grew cross. A scowl formed on her face, and all thoughts of being knocked up with a litter of little Uchiha's vanished in a moment. The next thing Yojo would feel was an iron palmed slap across his face, leaving a deep red mark on his cheek. "Don't try to tell me you didn't deserve that." Sunadokei said in a huff, crossing her arms beneath her massive bust. "Yes, I am heiress to the main branch of the Akimichi line. Eldest daughter of Makaro Akimichi, twenty third head of the Akimichi clan. And no, I will not 'marry my cousin.' This isn't the Warring States period Yoshihiro, we don't marry lesser branches to try and preserve the bloodline traits in our kekkai genkais anymore. Medical ninjutsu has advanced to the point we understand how genetics works far better these days."

Sunadokei wanted to make a harsh comment about how a least her clan had lesser branches, but she held her tongue. She'd been harsh enough, there was no reason to make things worse. She didn't know how Yojo would take direct insults to his clan. "I will wed whoever I feel like, thank you very much. But I want a good marriage, to a powerful bloodline, and a prestigious clan. A dislike Aburame, I could never get used to their chakra parasite insects. And Hyūga I'm not convinced on yet, they seem to stuffy and uptight." Sunadokei let out a sigh, her anger melting away as her thoughts drifted to marriage once more. "Maybe a Nara or a Yamanaka... it's only fitting. There was a Nara I was close to once, I thought he might be the one. But, that was years ago and things never ended up working out." Sunadokei said with a huff, there was no point dwelling on what could have been. Times change, and she preferred to live in the present.

When the duo reached the shrine, Sunadokei begrudgingly followed Yojo's lead, leaping over the wall and landing with a jiggly impact. "Yeah yeah, I'm coming Yojo." She said with a hint of cynicism, pausing to dust herself off. Sunadokei smiled though as they reached the spider lilies. "Oh, just us and the spirits huh? Well I should hope the spirits aren't pervs then." She said with a giggle, taking her friend's hand in hers. "I think, despite your clan's reputation, you are quite the romantic at heart." The buxom woman spoke softly, eyes locking with the man's piercing ruby gaze. "I think it's beautiful. A full moon, a cool night, sneaking into a shrine just to show me the lilies." She leaned in closer, planting a soft kiss on Yoshihiro's lips. Tasting the warmth on him as plump luscious lips pressed against his own, if only for a moment in their shared kiss. "I think I like this view more though." Sunadokei added, giving a soft smile as she got lost in her companion's tell tale eyes. Time seemed to melt away, not that she minded one bit. It was such a tranquil moment, such a welcome break from all of life's woes. Part of her wished it would last forever.

Yojo smiled lightly as he felt her lips on his. Alright, maybe he'd be willing to give her a pass for a while compared to the other noble families of Konoha. He'd press lightly back against her lips just a tad, enough to not feel like a dead fish and nothing more. "The Joe clan is full of romantics, as it's only member I'm able to say that" he replied, preferring to refer to himself by his self-given surname compared to the long and ominous line whose blood now flowed through his veins. He stepped back, looking around the shrine, humming in thought. At least this patrol wasn't tooooo boring, thankfully. Sunadokei made for good company, if for all too many different reasons. "I can say the same about you, yes? Are you a romantic at heart?" he asked, tilting his head a bit as he met her gaze with his brown one. He stopped then, letting the silence between them both ring out through the shrine. It was so quiet, so peaceful, like it was the only constant in a rapidly changing and increasingly foreign world. He appreciated it for that, he appreciated how it had seen him grown older and stronger... Though perhaps not wiser, a dangerous combination. He felt the moon's glow on his neck as he lowered his head a tad in a bow. "I'll see you again soon" he said, bidding his partner goodbye now that their mission was done. With that, he body flickered away, disappearing in a sudden gust of wind.

Sunadokei rolled her eyes and smiled at her friend's words. He was a romantic fool, but he was her fool after all. "There you go with that Joe clan again. Alright Yojo, I'm not sure how you can even have a one man 'clan.' It's like having a one cow herd." She kissed him again softly, a quick peck on the lips this time. "But I have to agree, your clan is full of romantics. I hope that doesn't change." She smiled, pausing to think taking her friend's hand in hers. "Am I romantic? Hmm... I'd like to think so." Sunadokei said simply as she led the two on a walk around the spider lily ponds under the pale moonlight.

"Everyone's looking for love I suppose. Most find it, some don't. I have no desire to be in the latter group." She said as the Akimichi woman mused aloud. "I think there's someone out there for everyone, you just have to be willing to look. I want love, I want romance, compassion, intimacy. I want someone to hold me tight in his arms and have the whole world feel right." She admitted, daydreaming wistfully for a moment about her prince charming to be, whoever he may be. "And when I find him I want to wed him, and start a family together. A big family, with lots of children..." She said with a sigh, smiling as she briefly became lost in her fantasies.

Sunadokei snapped back to reality, blinking as she shook off the dreams. "Sorry Yojo, I got a little carried away there." She said wistfully, taken back into the moment. Her friend simply bowed, and bid her farewell. "Sayonara Yoshihiro..." Sunadokei said, but by the time the words left her mouth he was already gone. She sighed, turning to sit down on the grass and look out over the waters. "Was it something I said?" She mused aloud, slightly sullen this was how their night had ended. It was only a routine patrol, but for just a moment it felt like it had been something more. There was much she wanted to talk to her friend about still. His departure was somewhat sudden, and hurt slightly.

Sunadokei gazed at the spider lilies for what felt like an eternity. Eventually she picked herself up, dusted herself off, and headed back towards their original rendezvous point. If nothing else she'd go report to the morning shift, and head back to the Administration Building to report her mission's completion. Afterwards she could go drown her frustration in breakfast. She was thinking pancakes. Lots of pancakes, drenched in syrup. Enough to drown out the complicated feelings down in the pit of her stomach.
