Spoiler:

Another day, another dollar so to speak. Kizmaru awakening from his slumber, It was a new day for him and he felt his purse was particularly light. A loud yawn was heard as he awoke from his slumber. Today was the day he would venture out into Iwa and do a pretty lax mission that was lined up for him today. Too many events had went by where he felt particularly helpless. Sure, there was some instances where he actually did something with his fire jutsu but when it came to going toe-to-toe with his enemies or sticky situations, Kizmaru had always dropped the ball. Well, no more. He wasn't physically adept as he thought he was. His scrawny frame, lanky arms and chicken legs weren't going to cut it. Sitting up in his bed, Kizmaru had gotten out and wearily walked over to the bathroom to wash his face. Spending a couple moments of in the bathroom to freshen up, he walked out in a towel and proceeded to get dressed. As usual, he dressed up he his normal getup of a yellow buttoned down shirt, navy blue pants and black ninja tabi for comfort since he was going on a mission and may or may not need mobility.

Leaving his apartment, Kizmaru set out to the village gates where he would meet up with another chuunin to take over his position and change shifts. It was suppose two chuunin to the gate but today there was a change in plans since the village was short handed at the moment with preparations ongoing for some big event later on. So instead, he was gonna be signed here with another person or two of genin level. It didn't matter much to him either way since, he doubts anything spectacular would happen but a mission was a mission after all. The guard he was taking over for handed him a few wireless radios in case others had shown up for him to pass out. There was still a few other chuunin guard around but overall, security was light today. He felt like this is the kind of mission where he could relax a bit and just chill out. He walked over towards the side of the side of the main gate and leaned on the stone walls of Iwagakure, hanging out while waiting for his would be partner to show up.

Mugen Heikou

Mugen had relented constantly on this day as per his Mother's request. She was quite a loving doll and went out on a mission with Father earlier in the week. They were to go do something-something in another village and apparently it was important that they were present. Mugen really admired his parents and the strength they've presented throughout his life as they continued on with their duties despite their age. He was, however, just doing his best to thrive in an environment he has yet to make his own. He awoke as the day began and reflected on how he would take action during the upcoming mission he had chosen assignment. He was, however, due as an accomplice. Mugen was still a Genin despite his young-adulthood, and that was okay. People move forward at their own pace; as does everything.

The young-man would get ready, sing in the shower and your average things. He'd choose a white t-shirt, black shorts, and ninja sandals as his clothing under current circumstance. Mugen had the idea of going on a casual stroll after the missions end and he didn't want to pack an extra pair of clothes. Couldn't just carry a bag around all day and didn't want to go home, change, and then go outside again. The idea sounded perfectly reasonable in his head.

He would continue on with his day and proceed to where he was assigned to be at the very time he was told to be there as per the conditions of accepting this mission. He would take note of the situation, noting that he was going to be a little late because he helped an old-lady with her groceries. It felt like the right thing to do. The time came and he was a couple strides away from witnessing the whole thing taking action before him. The trade off of items was in the open and Mugen couldn't help it, but to pick up his pace and meet the individual that received a handful of them for this exact situation.

"Yeah, heeeeeeeeeeey, sorry I'm late. He'd begin with hopes that the individual would allow him to finish. The gap closing before them as Mugen came from his right side before he could really walk away after receiving the wireless radios. He would speak while walking and finish placing himself at least one meter away from the individual. "I noticed that you guys were trading off radios, and uhm, I know I'm late and all, but I had to help an old-lady with some bags before getting here, and I was assigned to, like, do this gatekeeping mission too, and I was really looking forward to getting my hands on some ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. I won't let them come inside without some proper V-I-S-A-S. Not that I'm racist or anything, but I was hoping we'd get along and do this together. You can hand me one of those radios and I'll stay by the main entrance. I'll wait and see if anybody else is late and you can go do whatever in someplace, I dunno. Mugen would finish his racist rant. Keeping attentive to any reflections of interception in the event that a stealthy acorn would merit its revenge. Hoping he could make another friend and deport illegal immigrants together for the sake of their village.

After a long morning of doing nothing of any value, Isei ate some breakfast prepared by his mother, consisting of a some nice whole grain toast, two over easy eggs, a glass of milk, and some hash browns. It was a pretty large breakfast, but being a ninja on top of being a growing boy required Isei to consume large amounts of calories to build muscle and to keep himself strong. It was even more important for today in particular as he had a mission that could involve combat if things were to get dicey. The chances of that were pretty slim however, but it was always good to be prepared just in case. Isei wasn’t the type to be too fancy with his mission gear, so he just went out wearing a plain white t-shirt and blue jeans, with some average ninja sandales on his feet. His hair was styled in his trademark misshapen bowlcut, making him look like a real doofus. Having prepared himself for the mission ahead he left his house and began to make his way to the mission location, which in this case was the village gates.

It was pretty rare for genin to be placed in a position where they would have to guard the gates, but he just assumed that they were short on staff for the day. They even had a chuunin supervising them today so he doubted there would be any issues. When he arrived on the scene, he had to pause for a moment, noticing that there was somebody here who he had mixed feelings about. He showed up right as Mugen had begun his somewhat racist rant about illegal immigrants and making sure they wouldn’t get in without some visas. This was too much to deal with in the morning so he just made his way to the chuunin that seemed to be their supervisor for the day and said, “I’m here for the mission, pleased to meet you.” He reached out his hand as though he were going for a handshake, but it turned more into an open palm as though he was requesting one of the radios. He didn’t say it outright of course but it was pretty easy to tell what such an action implied. Given his social ineptitude he wasn’t aware that it would be considered rude to do something like that, so he just went about his actions without much of a care.

He made sure to at least acknowledge Mugen’s existence by giving him the typical guy greeting of slightly tilting his chin up at him for a moment. Even with Mugen being here, he didn’t think there was going to be much trouble between the two of them, but he couldn’t say the same for anyone Mugen thought was suspicious. He had been expecting a normal day where he could just chill out and relax, but Mugen’s presence made it possible for there to be some rather interesting shenanigans that could happen. All he could do is wait and see what the day held in store for him.

GORILLA JOE

GORILLA JOE

D-rank
Joe arose from his bed, his blonde hair a complete mess from a night of tossing and turning in his sleep. He faintly remembered a dream he was having about him and a gorilla and something to do with dropping something off. He thought for a brief second about writing it down in his dream journal but didnt think that it would be appropriate for such a book. He shuddered and pushed the thought to the back of his mind. Craning his head, Joe looked at the clock on his wall. 6AM. Just enough time to bathe and get something to eat before heading out on yet another mundane mission. Joe was beginning to get tired of such menial tasks being assigned to him, but there really wasn't much that he could do until he earned a promotion and became a chuunin. He rolled out of his bed and ran to the shower, ready to wash the degeneracy of his dreams out of his hair. After cleansing himself he headed downstairs where he chowed down on some delicious eggs and sausages, perfect fuel for a day of work. He kissed his mother on the cheek and patted his father on the shoulder before strapping on his forehead protector and heading out of the door.

His outfit today was the standard kind of clothes he would wear when out on a mission. Plain black tee shirt, some comfortable pants and appropriate shoes for any possible physical activity that would need to be done. His hair was as unkempt and messy as always; Joe had never really figured out what to do with his hair so he decided to just let it be however it felt like sitting on any particular day. After walking down the road and thinking random stupid thoughts to himself about gorillas and eating bamboo shoots, Joe set his eyes upon the group of people he assumed he would be tagging along with to complete his mission today. There were two young adults there that Joe vaguely recognized as his fellow genin. One of them was loudly and obnoxiously ranting fairly incoherently about immigrants, while claiming to not be racist. The other was standing with his hand out in the most ambiguous manner. "Must have a touch of the tism, that one" Joe thought to himself. He sped up his pace and transitioned from a brisk walk to a light jog in order to catch up to who he assumed would be his teammates for the job ahead. When he got within speaking distance of the three men, he beat his chest like he saw his favourite gorillas do on the nature documentaries and spoke up. "Sorry if me late! Lets patrol the village and make sure its safe for all of our upstanding citizens! Ook ook!". Sometimes Joe liked to end his sentences with ook ook because it made him feel like a gorilla, he didnt particularly care what other people thought of this. "Im Joseph by the way but my friends call me Gorilla Joe". He turned to the third man who had an air of seniority about him, assuming he would be the person in charge today. "So whats the plan, bossman".

Well, this was interesting. It seems a lot of individuals had shown up, one after the other. The first one had shown up, pretty much on time but claimed he was late. Kizmaru kind of rolled his eyes without giving a response and handed him a radio and proceeded to watch him walk away. The person was now almost a meter away before he started to hear him talk over the radio as to what he observed and to why he was late. After listening, Kizmaru decided that he would respond since the boy had forgotten to give his name. He'd like to have some idea of the people he was working with. "Yeah, that's all fine and dandy but, buddy, what's your name? I don't think all of that is goning to be happening today but maybe we'll get lucky, who knows." Kizmaru said, dryly. It was kind of amusing that the first thing he heard on this mission was a rant so he assumed this wouldn't be boring for the remainder of the time here. Next person to appear was some dude in a bowl cut that followed closely behind the time the first Genin has shown up. Seems like the boring type at first glance, nothing special. The boy had geeted him to which, Kizmaru had responded with a simple nod of greeting then afterward, the boy reached out his hand at Kizmaru for something. Kizmaru wasn't fond of handshakes so he just slapped a radio into the boy's hand as an excuse to avoid doing so.

It didn't seem like he took it the wrong way so he just shrugged and let him continue on with his day. And lastly, another guy has arrived. Kizmaru didn't know what to say about this guy. He couldn't really for an opinion until he spoke. A single moment had passed as Kizmaru stared that man that introduced himself as Joe. He didn't know how he would approach this situation or why so in the end, he just decided that it was best to treat this as normal. At least this one introduced himself properly(?), he had assumed. Kizmaru nodded and replied, "Alright then, "Joe". Here, take a radio and let's commence with the mission. Kizmaru handed Joe the radio and began to walk in the opposite direction the first guy had. After walking a meter away from his initial position, Kizmaru decided now was a good a time as any to fill them in. Pressing the little button on the radio, Kizmaru began to speaking into it. "Alright, listen up guys. This should be a relatively easy mission. All we really gotta do is wait at our posts and occasionally patrol the outer perimeter from time to time. That's about it really. Any questions? " Kizmaru had said clearly. He didn't expect anything to happen while on guard but Kizmaru had to always assume the worst.

Mugen was given a radio by Kizmaru and heard his request at an introduction. Mugen was of course too busy sprouting his passionate border policies and forgot to introduce himself to the Chunin that had already introduced himself. Prior to the second Genin’s arrival, in that small frame of time that was before he arrived shortly after himself, Mugen would shit out ”Am Mugen.” and derp himself into nonexistence. The young boy would arrive quickly after the sudden introduction and it was a good thing between Mugen did not need to introduce himself to the boy that came shortly after him. It was Isei! They were buddies; they punched each other in the face at one point, or something. The details are still foggy; the topic’s still going on, but we remember it.

We never forget.

Isei got a radio and Mugen waved to his comrade; I think we’re comrades. I dunno. We’re still working on the relationship. Got off to a rocky start. They probably didn’t need to exchange much words between themselves as they each knew that with the arrival of one another there would be something worth talking about later. At least Mugen knew, and he was under the assumption Isei knew, because they’re both damn degenerates.

Then mother yiffin’ Gorilla goddamn Joe here comes into the scene and the realization that they were all degenerates set in as the furry began to imitate a Gorilla. Lowkey, Mugen thought it was kind of cool. A little hot too, a man like that, that didn’t care about what other people thought about him, and roleplayed as a gorilla in real-time despite God putting him on this planet to be a ninja.

It was amazing to Mugen and he held a high respect for Gorilla Joe, and upon his finalized introduction Mugen would bow. ”Am Mugen. He would derp. His bow being at a high angle so his eyes could be fixated on his gorilla beauty. The moment would pass and everybody had gathered and Kizmaru, being the much more mature one out of all of us, would go on and take control of the situation. Going on to explain the mission and its relatively easy protocol.

Mugen didn’t care about easy, though. He was dead set on catching some illegal immigrants. With Kizmaru finishing his statement Mugen would just turn and run out into the distance ”IF ANYBODY WANTS TO WRANGLE SOME IMMIGRANTS, FOLLOW ME.”. Anybody was welcome to come with him, but Mugen was dead set on getting some good ol’ immigrants. Especially some tree-huggers. Mugen really wanted to get some tree-huggers.

Existence was a funny thing. One moment you could be getting ready to go protect your village from possible harm, and the next some weird ass man could be walking up making gorilla noises and asking for a radio. Every day was a new journey for Isei and every new person he met had the potential to influence him in many ways. He did not yet know how the gorrila man would influence him, but it would definitely be interesting. The man wasn’t very gorilla like, so Isei didn’t know what made him so attached to gorillas. Despite this, he just decided the guy was probably some sort of weird otherkin type who was just obssessed with gorillas. He was more focused on what was going to be happening next with this mission. He wasn’t expecting there to be any conflict in the next few hours, so such a prospect dissapointed him on account of him having a low chance of gaining any physical benefit from this excursion besides money and a small bit of experience. A job was a job though, and having a bit of extra spending money would go far in keeping himself stocked up for real missions where he might need them. Throughout the gorilla man’s introduction Isei just kind of looked at him with a deadpan expression, as though the man didn’t exist at all.

Isei was snapped out of this state when he noticed Mugen waving at him like a wacky inflatable arm waving tube man. The guy kept bowing and saying his name like they hadn’t heard him the first time. He was still conflicted about how he viewed this person, but they seemed to be amiable enough with their random flailing. Isei could only recall bits and pieces of their encounter in the past for now, as something seemed to be blocking him from remembering the full scale of what had happened. He threw those thoughts to the side as he listened to his chuunin squad leader explain the specifics of the mission, after receiving his radio of course. The mission seemed to be simple enough so Isei just looked around for a moment, waiting for what the others would do. Mugen seemed to be antsy to make his way out to his post since he was shouting something about immigrants or something. It came across as kinda racist to Isei’s limited social capacity, but who was he to judge? His knowledge of the socioeconomic status of migrants and the geopolitical structure of the 4 nations was limited by his academy knowledge, leaving him as a child soldier with the presumed educational foundation of a middle schooler. This information was irrelevant to his current goals of course, so he decided that he should just be a follower for now and follow Mugen to wherever he was gonna go look for people to wrangle or something.

The one who Joe had assumed would be the leader, and now was most certainly confirmed to do so slapped a radio in Joe's hand. Isei was still being an awkward little dweeb and he was kinda standing around like he really didnt know what he was going to do. Was this guy even a ninja? Did he even lift? Joe didn't really care that much because now he had met him Isei was cemented as his NAKAMA for life. The other boy was bowing his head and kept saying his name like everyone didn't already know it was Mugen already. Joe decided that he would be NAKAMA too. The leader too, NAKAMA FOR LIFE. Kizmaru had walked off on his own before leaving vague instructions to a group of young hungry ninja looking to prove themselves and make a name. Good idea for sure. Nothing can go wrong. Mugen on the other hand was ran away in some other direction, probably southwest judging by Joe's perfect gorilla directional instincts. He was still screaming about immigrants which was mildly questionable but one word he spoke stuck out. "Wrangle". Joe loved the idea of wrangling. There was more manly that wrangling a man and forcing him to submit to your every whim.

Joe followed Mugen, running like the gorilla that he believed he was. That meant on all fours, on his knuckles as well scraping them into bloody disfigurement as he tore up the terrain running like some kind of a mad man. He wondered to himself if there really were illegal immigrants in Iwagakure. There was only one way to find out. Joe was going to force every single person that he saw who he didn't know to present some kind of identifying document, and if they were unable to do so he would deport them back to their own garbage country or wherever they came from. He saw ahead of him a sweet old lady carrying a basket of ripe looking fruits, with a little boy holding her hand, appearing to guide her as she walked. Classic ruse. Sweet old lady right? Use the little kid to deflect the fact that youre an illegal alien. Joe admired the ruse, this kind of subterfuge was what ninja were really good at. It was also what they were really good at detecting too which was unfortunate for the old lady. Joe picked up the pace and began charging at the lady. When he got close to her he jumped into the air, propelling himself with all four limbs. He kicked the basket of fruit out of her hand, sending its contents in every direction. He was pretty sure he saw a peach hit some baby in the head or something. When he landed he put his whole hand on the little guide boys face before pushing him to the ground. This was to get him out of the way not just to abuse him by the way. He then began to yell in the old lady's face. "ID? U GOT ID? U BELONG HERE HUH? SHOW ID?!!!!" The old lady looked like she didn't understand his language and look of fear spread across her face, before it was replaced by one of determination. "CYKA BLYAT IDI NAHUI". The old lady was definitely not here legally. She kicked Joe in his testicles really hard and took off running way faster than she should have been able to. Joe fell to the ground, crumpled by the assault on his genitalia. He mustered all the strength he could and pointed in the direction of the old lady before shouting to his comrades. "WE GOTS OURSELVES A RUNNER BOIS. GIT HER!!!!!!". The little boy who Joe had pushed over walked up to him and stomped on his head before vanishing into a cloud of smoke. Joe was kinda embarrassed.
