Atsushi stood in a wide horse stance filling his lungs slowly completely with air before releasing it slowly back out from between clenched teeth. He stood in the middle of an open field that surrounded a single pond fed by a slowly trickling mountain stream. He was waiting in the quite dark of near dawn. Not for training, or a mission, or for anything in particular really. His right palm slammed down on his forward, right thigh as he began to focus on his technique and breathing, the sound piercing the cold quiet. His chakra would distort the air around him slightly causing the slightest amount of sweat to begin to trickle down his forehead as he began channeling mystical energies through his body. Behind him in his left hand he held his spear ready waiting to strike at a moments notice. An hour would slowly pass as Atsushi would motionlessly wait for his quarry. The sun was not quite so patient before its rays pierced the horizon the celestial would begin to splash the paints of dawn along her day time canvas as oranges, reds, and purple spread themselves into the blue of the coming day. Slowly recognizing her talent creatures would slowly begin to applaud the as the light wrestled them from their sleep. Fish began to slap on the surface of the lake, cicadas began to chirp in jubilation, and frogs would sing to the brilliant celestial calling upon her to appeared to receive their praise. Still Atsushi waited.

Two Days Prior:
A memo had been placed in Kumo's training grounds pinned to a post. It had a simple message. Looking to get into a fight at the Gold & Silver Pond! The paper had been split into a few different section as someone had made slits on the bottom 1/4 of the page so that there were now multiple tabs. Some of the tabs were already missing having been crudely ripped of the page and claimed by another already. The ones that remained simply had a date and time scribbled on them.

Atsushi was motionless as the sun pierce the horizon and its wave of radiance began to pour over the land.  While the local fauna rejoiced the was an out of place alabaster canine that was rather upset at the piercing light. She'd wander over towards the lakeside as she'd noticed the dawn illuminating the lake in a golden aura. Peering down in to its depth for a moment longer than she'd intended Hotaru noticed that deep at the bottom of the lake remained some of the crumbled remains of some once deified humans. They along with the rest of the ponds bottom were covered with some sort of disk like shapes, as far as she could tell the were refracting the light of the sun through the water. She would note that some of the fish would also glow with that same golden aura as she decided she'd spent too much time on the matter and lazily paced to a nearby bench hiding in its shade. She looked over towards Atsushi visibly confused, but it wasn't the weirdest thing he'd ever done, so Hotaru would lay her head down and wait for her friend to cook her up something tasty when she awoke.

A dragonfly would slowly and curiously hover over towards the statue like figure that had been erected in its absence. As it moved closer and closer in small bursts, Atsushi's  focus slowly intensified on his prey as he watched the dragonfly get just a little too close. with a burst of speed, the genin's blade glided on the air the sound of a refreshing breeze filling the air as the spear rushed towards the unsuspecting creature. Atsushi exerted his pressure on it as he swung paralyzing the creature despite primal instincts telling it to flee. In the span of a blink Atsushi's blade was mere centimeters from the critter when the sound of the breeze grew more intense. As the creature made contact with the spear it was not cut though and didn't get crushed. It simply made contact with the blade and was simply taken along for a ride as Atsushi slowly decelerated the spear releasing the uninjured bug from the clinging grip of the centrifuge. Atsushi didn't know what time if any his opponent had chosen, but he would wait here until then attempting the same trick over and over, succeeding only about 20% of the time.

The sun was setting in the distance casting a dark red glow across the village hidden in the clouds as the young genin readied himself for what was to come, this would be his first true test since his recovery from his encounter with Tomohiro. It was a day and a half ago that the boy had seen the flyer after one of his training sessions, as soon as he read it the boy's blood started pumping. This was what he had been waiting for, this was exactly what he needed and in truth it is exactly what he wanted. The note left no name only a date and time to which the boy was to arrive at the pond to meet his mysterious opponent, of course the boy would have it no other way, what better way to test your abilities than against an opponent that you know nothing about. The boy grabbed his cloak from the end of the bed, throwing it over his shirtless torso and fastening the top button so that it would flow around him and not constrict him. As he made his way to the door he felt a slight tug on his leg as something tried to stop him, he looked down with a smile at his faithful companion. "I am sorry Grimnir, but you'll have to stay in tonight. This is not something I can have you involved in." the boy stated in a calm yet firm voice, to which the young wolverine pup responded by sitting down in front of the boy with a depressed look to which the boy couldn't help but chuckle at as he turned and exited his home.

Dusk was upon the village hidden in the clouds, the full moon already in the sky overhead with the setting sun casting a orange-red glow upon its surface giving it the appearance of a blood moon. Like most Tsuyoi, Jaes believed that a blood moon was a sign of good fortune and to a Tsuyoi good fortune meant glorious combat. The mere thought of this encounter was enough to get the boy's blood pumping, but the sight of the would be blood moon sent the boy into overload. He would not make the same mistake that he did in his fight with Tomohiro, he could not live with himself if he suffered yet another defeat because of his own arrogance and underestimation of his opponent. The Gold and Silver Pond was not far from his home and would not take him much time to walk there, however the boy was to anxious to get the fight started. Utilizing one of the most basic of ninja arts the boy disappeared from in front of his house with a slight crackle and a flash of lightning in his wake. Appearing at the end of the Gold and Silver Pond in the same manner, with a flash of light and a crackle of lightning announcing his entrance. The boy quickly scanned the area for his opponent, seeing another boy there Jaes quickly came to the assumption that he was to be the young genin's test. He was not sure what it was that the other boy was doing, some sort of training or practice of sorts from the look of it but it mattered little now as if the other boy was to be his opponent he would surely stop his practice and ready himself for the real thing.

Jaes would move closer to the other boy, however he was sure to leave a gap that, should the boy try to make a quick openning move against him, he would be able to react. "Are you the one that left the flyer?" Jaes asked in a tone that it was almost obviously a rhetorical question. Jaes would crack his neck as he assumed the Beginning stance of his Shuurai Tekken Do fighting style, angling his body to the side with his left side facing his would be opponent with his right arm bent close to his chest and his left arm partically extended in front and to the left of him, his knees bent slightly, left foot pointed towards his opponent while the right foot was pointed in the same direction as his body was for an easy pivot point. He let out a deep breath as he relaxed all of his muscles and readied himself for his fight, whether the other boy was going to be a worthy opponent of the young Tsuyoi was still undetermined it was something that Jaes was certainly hopeful for.

As dusk began to descend upon the mountains, Atsushi was still maintaining his stance repeating the same technique he had been all day though much less frequently. There was a small patch of burnt grass where cinders, long cold, marked the spot where Atsushi had prepared fish for himself and Hotaru multiple times throughout the day.  The wolf had long since left tending to whatever business she had elsewhere long before it began to get dark. Alone in the field maybe 20 meters from the 200 meter radius pond Atsushi maintained his stance slowly feeling the ebb and flow of the energy around him as his eyes began to compensate for through the darkness of the quickly arriving dusk. It was about time for the last time slot he'd put on the note, and if no one showed he'd have to accept that today had been another day of no shows. 'Such a shame,' he thought as the blood moon peered down onto the lake.  As it continued to grow darker and the moonlight began to grow more prominent, a bloody vermilion radiance began to fill the lake as the moonlight was taken in and amplified. Like an overfilled cup the lake soon unable to contain the light began to fill the area with its radiance.

One last swing, the wind whipping around his blade, and Atsushi was done for the day. Before he could pack up and leave though a burst of light and the crackle of lightning beckoned Atsushi's attention. He would turn his head with a smile, rotating his stance, the Sky Tyrant Neutral Stance, and facing his first challenger. "Are you the one that left the flyer?" A question that would be answered by a now spreading toothy grin and a hand tightening on Atsushi's spear, which was now partially behind him. His left arm was ready to spring forward to deflect an incoming projectile assault, and his right was in a readied position. He sized up his opponent who seemed to take a stance that wasn't completely different and seemed to focus on similar things: burst dodge speed, reducing surface area facing his opponent, and the ability to strike at a moment's notice. Atsushi would wait just a moment as his opponent got into his stance a light breeze whipping his rat tail in the air. He steeled himself. In this dire lighting,  his opponent seemed incredibly fearsome.

"I guess you're ready, yeah?"

Atsushi would circle in between Jaes and the water's edge slowly, still waiting for the genin to react while intending to remove the lake from the playing field for as long as possible. He would barely move his feet, carefully sliding them just above the surface of the ground so he could maintain his footing. His blood already pumping, his mind already focused Atsushi would watch the ninja bathed in the dim red light with the eyes of a predator looking for an opening. If he made it between Jaes and the lake his empty right hand would spring to the kunai pouch on his hip grabbing a single shuriken from among the three in his pouch, resisting the temptation to through the kunai just yet in case he was disarmed. He would begin the throw from his hip releasing the shuriken with a flick of his wrist at the end of the arc made by his hand. The beginning of every fight was a test of patience, something Atsushi was severely lacking in. The shuriken would start slightly off course to Jaes's left, before curving towards the ninja's back, aimed in the general direction of his kidneys.

He wouldn't run in just yet he had no way to know what his opponent had in store for him, being a mostly close range ninja, he would have to restrain himself just a little longer. He was watching his opponents for any openings he would make while dodging, or deflecting the shuriken. Once he got in his face, he wouldn't have such such an opportunity to study his opponent like this again. As the kunai closed the distance of the 10 or so meters between him and Jaes at 10 m/s, Atsushi would focus on changes in posture, stance, flinching, or focus taking in all he could, but when the shuriken was inevitably dodged or blocked, he'd say "Seriously, if it were only that easy. " He'd look dejected. He almost certainly wouldn't have the luxury of landing the first hi with the weapon he'd just used, but if it did hit the would be a sudden look of surprise quickly followed by one of confusion.

The boy's question was almost immediately answered by a grin and a slight tightening of the other boys hand on his weapon. It took all Jaes had not to charge the boy and begin attacking, reminding himself that was where he had made his mistake in his fight with Tomohiro. He needed to analyze what he could before he made his move, he knew his skills were greater than his opponent but his fight with Tomohiro proved that even when you possess greater skills just one mistake could turn the tides and cost the fight and he would not make that mistake again. He watched his opponent's every move for even the faintest sign of movement from his opponent, even in the dim light the boy sharpened his focus on the boy who stood ten meters from him. As the other boy spoke a smile formed across Jaes' face, reaching up with his right hand to undo the fastening of his cloak at the top allowing the cloak to fall to the ground at his feet revealing his tattoo covered arms and torso to the pale red moon light.

Jaes waited as he watched the boy move slowly across the plains in front of him in an arc maintaining a ten meter distance between them as he moved closer to the pond. Jaes had to resist a smile as the thought of this boy being a water user crossed his mind, Jaes would adjust his stance as the boy moved to stand with the pond behind him so that his left side remained facing the boy. Jaes' patience was beginning to fade, he had been waiting for this fight and yet here it was and nothing was happening yet. He had been eyeing the spear thinking the boy would start with it, just as Jaes was about to make a move he saw his opponent's empty hand move towards his waist. Jaes saw a glint of metal in the pale light as it moved towards him, purely out of curiosity Jaes didn't move. Interested in seeing just what the boy had thrown Jaes allowed it to hit him, however disappointment soon followed as the thrown item was nothing more than a simple shuriken that just bounced off of him. Jaes looked down upon the shuriken as it lay on the ground beside him, they seem to be all over the place in Kumo, Jaes never understood why a shinobi would use such a useless tool. "You'll have to try harder than that," the boy stated disappointment obvious in his tone as he reached for his own belt grabbing a smoke bomb and dropping releasing the smoke around him.

Using the smoke as cover the boy quickly formed a string of hand seals creating three clones of himself, wasting little time as he did not know how long the smoke would last, he sent the three clones bursting from the cloud of smoke at a rate of 10m/s all at once however in different directions as well as with different intentions. The first clone exited out of the right side of the cloud heading towards the boy's left flank who would move in and try to get as close to the other boy as he could before activation. The Second clone that exited out of the left side of the smoke cloud heading towards the boy's Right flank with similar intentions as the first with the exception that it was making handseals, though it was merely show could not do anything. The third clone exited the smoke cloud head on in a straightline for the boy while forming handseals like the second clone, again merely for show and to give the illusion of the original that had remained within the smoke cloud. If the boy hit any one of the clones it would cause them to explode causing him some damage and each clone was ready to explode as soon as they got to him, dodging as they needed to avoid contact with anything until they were as close to the target as they could. While his clones moved towards his opponent, Jaes formed the Ram seal and focused his Raiton chakra to his hands compressing it into a marble of Lightning. By the time the other boy would be able to deal with the three clones the smoke cloud would be gone revealing the original within it and Jaes' jutsu would be ready. Jaes would aim straight for the boy before releasing the marble at a rate of 25m/s which would close the distance between them quickly and if it hit the boy he would be in the epicenter of a large explosion of Raiton with Jaes standing just at the edge of the radius of the explosion and if it missed it would continue training until it hit its max distance and exploding or it hitting something and exploding. Jaes would watch his opponent for any type of counter to his jutsu, and ready himself in the defensive stance for whatever the other boy did next.

"You'll have to try better than that."

As Atsushi's shuriken bounced off of Jaes's back like it was refined steel a look of shock quickly followed by excitement spread across his face. This opponent was exactly what he''d hoped for. To be so durable Jaes would have to have skin as strong as forged metal, or maybe he was using a jutsu, or maybe this was a taijutsu technique. As the thoughts began racing through Atsushi's head, he began planning his next few moves. He'd break his stance moving his spear to his left side spinning it rapidly as he waited for his opponent's next attack in a natural stance, the toothy grin reemerging from his face as his opponent threw down some sort of smoke bomb to conceal his presence. Instinctively Atsushi jumped back to the edge of the lake as his opponent concealed himself reacting to the recent months of training instilled in him by his sensei. When the first kumo-nin emerged Atsushi would begin backing up more to allow himself room to react as he was a little close for this particular technique lightly tossing the spinning spear into the air. As he prepared to aim for a Jaes running out of the cloud. He would catch the spear as the second and third made their way out of the smoke cloud, and Atsushi realized that this wouldn't be as straight forward as he'd thought.

He'd stop the spin on his spear grasping it tight in his left hand as he watched the three incoming ninjas quickly close in. Though they had no weapons in their hands dealing with this many ninja was cumbersome. He'd pull out a kunai hoping that at least two of the three of them would be able to be hurt by it, though it was doubtful. In the course of a second the would close i on him he would ignore the idle threats of jutsu not because he knew they weren't jutsu, but out of sheer audacity. As Jaes took his attack head on, so to would Atsushi take on Jaes's attack in turn. As they closed in on him he'd swing widely at them, sensing something slightly off when they entered his 5 meter senjutsu sensory, as they weren't actually living things. A more experienced senjutsu user might have pieced together what was happening with this information alone, but Atsushi wasn't used to fighting clones. He'd sweep at them in a wide arc at the first clone to arrive, a move that generally would cause a normal person to leap back. This time though, as the blade sliced through the first clone its formed unraveled revealing the violent explosion that lay within, much to the genin's surprise. The explosion eclipse the range of his spear and set off a chain reaction with the other two clones as they too were closing in at the same speed. Atsushi's left arm would be covered in first degree burns, and as he winced in pain for a moment the burns would seemingly fade away as steam poured off his arm which had now been stripped of the cloth that once covered it. He'd need it for his next endeavor.

The explosion revealed behind it that there was yet another Jaes hiding as the smoke cleared and he pointed his hand forward towards Atsushi. Atsushi smiled as if the beating he'd just gotten was nothing, which was definitely untrue.  The spear would spin again in Atsushi's hand as he would relocate it to his left side once more as he'd turn to face Jaes, throwing the kunai with ridiculous strength [D-1 + 4 tiers for Hysterical Strength] at 20 m/s towards the his opponent. As Atsushi processed the marble rapidly coming at him, he'd rush towards it taking it head on clenching his teeth for the same pain he'd just experienced. He'd get less than a step as the jutsu closed in on him a little faster than he'd anticipated, and as it closed in, he'd send his spear in front of him hitting the incoming justu with his propeller-like weapon. Unfortunately for Atsushi, this wouldn't stop the jutsu from activating as the ten meter radius centered on almost directly him exploded outwards expanding to the remainder of the smoke cloud where Jaes had sent the clones from to the edge of the lake. Inside Atsushi was assaulted with the high voltage chakra leavin large amounts of his body covered with Minor Second degree burns, and many layers of the tight black outfit he wore disintegrating. The legs of his pants and large amounts of his shirt would be burned to a crisp.

As the explosion cleared it would reveal Atsushi standing from a kneeling position steam once again rising off of his body as the wounds faded from his body as if they were no more than just an illusion. The bruising on his right arm would remain, but would be hidden by the newly formed skin. "You'll have to try better than that." Atsushi would parrot back to Jaes. He too had an impenetrable defense. Atsushi would run towards Jaes closing the distance at 5 m/s. If he got close enough Atsushi would swing at him from a meter and a half away aiming for Jaes's gut with a jab of his spear, as he went on the offensive. If he dodged it Atsushi's spear would swing in the direction he moved next, but regardless Atsushi would try to maintain a distance of 1.5 meters and send six more consecutive jabs at Jaes.

A smile formed on his face as he launched his Galick Gun Jutsu, though the smile quickly fade to a look of shock and disbelief as just as he had launched his marble sized ball of lightning he saw the glint of metal followed by a forceful strike to his left shoulder that caused the boy to stagger a few steps back. Looking down to his shoulder just as his his jutsu exploded causing a bright flash of light to illuminate the night sky and reveal to Jaes the Kunai that was sticking out of his left shoulder. Never before had something like this happened to the young Tsuyoi how could such a weak tool be able to penatrate his unbreakable skin, it was clear to Jaes that this boy possessed great strength though it would not matter now. Jaes pulled the Kunai from his shoulder as the blast from his jutsu began subsiding, dropping the kunai to the ground Jaes readied himself to carry the boy to a healer in the village, however what he saw stopped him dead in his tracks. The boy survived, not only did he survive but he seemed to be recovering from the damage caused by Jaes' Galick Gun Jutsu. As the boy mimicked Jaes' earlier statement a smile formed on the young Tsuyoi's face, his opponent seemed to have some exceptional ability to heal damage as it was caused and it caused Jaes to become even more intreged by the boy. Prehaps this could be the opponent he had been searching for, Jaes wondered if the boy felt pain from the attacks before they were healed or if like him he was immune to such weakness, all he knew for sure was that he had to see more of this boy's abilities. The boy's clothes had all but been desintigrated by Jaes' Galick Gun, yet that did not seem to stop him as he quickly charged Jaes. As the boy began moving towards Jaes with his spear in tow, Jaes would preform the snake handseal before quickly dropping both of his hands to his sides as raiton chakra began flowing from his arms creating two three meter long lightning chains, which the young Tsuyoi would grab with both of his hands before entering his Shuurai Tekken Do Offensive Stance. Crouching low to the ground so that his rear end was almost even with his knees, turning so that he was facing his opponent from his left with his right side behind him making himself a smaller target. His feet would be spread wide, his left foot in front pointed towards his opponent with his right foot behind him pointed at a ninty degree angle of his left foot. His hands each holding a Chain of Lightning hanging down from his arms on either side of him. Once the boy was within range and moved in to strike Jaes would use his Right hand to swing it's chain downward onto the spear wrapping around it and using the momentum from his downward swing to pull the spear out away from his body and down towards the ground.

Jaes would then use this opportunity to strike his opponent across the back with his left lightning chain, he would do this multiple times unless the boy moved or attempted to stop him in which case he would use his Left lightning chain swinging it in a fashion that it would wrap around the boys neck. If successful Jaes would then pull the boy in closer as well as downward as he brought his knee upward towards the boy's chin, releasing the boy from the chains as he would be knocked back. Jaes knew that something was wrong with his left arm, it did not seemed to move exactly how he wanted it to when he struck with it causing the strikes to be weak  he had to hope that his opponent did not pick up on this as well  If his opponent had not already freed his spear from the lightning chain, Jaes would hold onto the spear in hopes that his knee to the boy's chin would be enough to loosen the boy's grip and remove the spear from the equation completely.

As Jaes prepared another assault Atsushi's forward momentum wouldn't slow down, quelling his fear of pain Atsushi would continue forward. He knew that a hit right now would hurt more than ever as his body was always tender right after he healed. Electric chains would form at Jaes's hand as his opponent would summon forth another jutsu. 'Seriously.' The thought would run through Atsushi's head. Shinobi seemed to have a nearly endless supply of chakra, throwing jutsu after jutsu after jutsu. Atsushi didn't begrudge them it was a better way to fight, but he was incredibly jealous. Jaes's first strike with this new jutsu extended limb would be to Atsushi's spear. Atsushi would let him hit unsure of whether or not he could dodge and let instinct and training take over. As the chains wrapped around his tip of his spear, they would pull it closer and downwards. This was fine with the Hinode.

Atstushi would ride the momentum until he was just under four meters from his opponent planting his spear into the ground and using the momentum of his opponents jutsu to take the 'First Step'. Atsushi's spear would rotate like a lever as he moved forward in the air at Jaes's jutsu's speed, using the tip of the spear as the fulcrum and the shaft of the spear to let him maintain this burst of flight. As the spear rotated the main blade now facing away from Jaes, Atsushi would push off with his bare, right foot aimed directly at Jaes's chest. Using Hysterical Strength with his right leg to hopefully knock his breath out, and interrupting the other genin's tempo before he could get the second strike off. Regardless of whether the attack hit or miss Atsushi would get in his opponent's face, dislodging his spear that remained tight in his grasp as he landed. He's twist it as he yanked it untangling the chains from his weapon. The dim red glow of the lake caused his eyes to almost seem to glow in the other while pale, drab night. Atsushi could sense it now, the one in front of him, confirming that this was in fact the real Jaes.

If his attack stopped the incoming barrage, Atsushi's focus would increase as he'd switch to a two handed grip on his weapon swinging, as his left hand slid up the shaft and the spear sliced its way out of the ground. Atsushi's first spear strike would be a thrust towards Jaes's face the that would be followed through with an extension forward of the spear, if necessary to make sure his opponent stayed within range, before slicing downwards in an attempt to bisect his quarry's chest. Atsushi would rotate if necessary to make sure that he was attacking head on.

If he was unable to distract Jaes enough with his kick to create an opening, he'd jump a meter and a half into the air tucking his legs in to avoid being hit by the incoming barrage of chains that Jaes was sure to continue with. He'd begin circling Jaes in a 3 meter radius circle in 5 m/s leaps and bounds. His hope was to find an opening to attack from though he was skeptical on whether or not one would present itself.

His plan worked or at least he thought it did, at first. Jaes' Raiton chain wrapped around the spear and with ease the boy began pulling it towards the ground as he readied his other arm to attack, but then the unexpected happened. Rather then throwing his opponent off his groove, his opponent seemed to go with the flow of it and use it to his advantage digging his spear into the ground he used the shaft like a fulcrum purpelling himself around it and striking Jaes in the chest. The kick knocked the wind from Jaes causing him to stumble backwards as he tried to reassert his footing, as he stumbled his grip loosened on the chains that were held in his hand cauing them to fade away. The kick proved to Jaes that this boy did possess incredible strength in addition to however he is healing his wounds, the other boy did not seem to want to give Jaes the chance to get his footing back after the kick, continuing his momentum the boy pulled his spear from the ground before striking at Jaes face, Jaes dropped to the ground allowing his body to just fall backwards rather than trying to reassert his footing while under attack. This however did not stop the boy from slicing his spear downward to where he was no causing Jaes to roll away from his opponent as fast as he could before pushing himself up off the ground spinning his body and landing in his Shuurai Tekken Do offensive stance. Jaes was crouched low to the ground so that his thighs were almost at a ninety degree angle of his calfs, with his bod turned so that he was facing his opponent from his left with his right side behind him making himself a smaller target. His feet would be spread wide, his left foot in front pointed towards his opponent with his right foot behind him pointed at a ninty degree angle of his left foot. His left hand in front of him with the palm open facedown and at mid chest level while his right hand hung low to his abdomen just above his belt also with it's palm open however facing his abdomen, Jaes would slightly back and forth shifting his weight between his legs so that he could react at a moments notice should he need to in response to his opponent's actions as his gaze fell back onto his opponent who was now a few meters away from him. Jaes could feel his heart beating faster and faster, this truly was a fight to behold for the young Tsuyoi, by far the most challenging he had faced since Tomohiro. Jaes had to resist the urge to charge at the boy, that was where he made the mistake with Tomohiro and had to suffer the consequences, no this time Jaes decided he would play it smart and start with a good defensive strategy.

Jaes would wait in his defensive stance for the other boy to make a move, Although his opponent was not that far away from him (a few meters), Jaes wanted him just a little closer for what he had planned. If the other boy charged forward with his spear again, Jaes would wait until the boy was two meters away before forming the seal of confrontation with his right hand without moving the arm from its position at his lower abdomen so not to give away his plan. With the seal of confrontation came the activation of Jaes' Burst Jutsu, Raiton chakra would explode out from Jaes covering a five meter radius in half of a second. Normally this Burst wouldn't cause much damage to someone, however considering the fact that they boy was almost completely naked he would be suffering some minor burns all over his body. Jaes had seen the boy heal much more severe wounds just moments earlier so he knew it wouldn't be enough to stop him, Jaes mainly hoped it would break the boy's stride a little. Whether the jutsu effected the boy's charge or not Jaes would move into the boy's guard, Ducking and dodging his spear if need be until he was within arm's reach of the boy striking him as hard as Jaes could straight in the face with his left hand before delivering another punch with his right hand to the boy's stomach. Jaes would finish his combo with a chakra powered backflip kick aimed for the other boy's chin. If connected the chakra would burst forth from Jaes' foot sending the other boy flying into the air. However, if the other boy did not charge at him and instead attacked him from a range, Jaes would dodge the attacks without moving too far from where he was in hopes of luring the boy in close, enticing the boy to charge him in anyway he could.

A smile would form along Atsushi's face as his foot connected with Jaes's chest. When sadistic missing-nin carved into the flesh of their victims. a type of madness flows through their veins. The adrenaline of it filling them with ecstasy as they rend their prey apart as the liquid joy drips from their quarry's veins. When an underdog usurps the champion, his chest wells with a sense of validation as with each punch he pushes his opponent a step closer to the ropes, and that final swing filling them with pride as the champ hits the mat. What brought a smile to Atsushi's face was the ninja in front of him. To fight like this with an equal was exactly what he'd wanted from the invitation he'd placed. To experience the power that ninja wielded with his body, to match it with his will, and to confront it with everything he had in him. Their was no pride nor was their sadism in his smile. Atsushi was just genuinely having a serious amount of fun as he exchanged blows with this other fighter in the dark out in the middle of nowhere. Even through all of the pain it was seriously fun.

As Atsushi's right leg made contact with Jaes, he winced as one injured limb took another's place on the list of his distractions. The pants that once covered his legs revealed were now no longer than shorts and the metal chain that once reinforced them between layers of cloth had been rendered barely hanging past knee length now. As he swung at Jaes and missed, he would land slowly lowering his injured, deeply bruised leg to the ground. Softly he'd place it on the ground and as the pain jolted up through his nerves like a wayward lightning bolt he'd kick off keeping his target in range. As he closed in after hesitating only a moment that moment would prove sufficiently long for to make a hidden seal of confrontation. As the wave of light and electricity radiated out from Jaes, the genin would jump backwards, not fast enough, in an attempt to avoid the jutsu that quickly over took him. The wave of energy over took him as he'd turn his right side towards the searing light covering his eyes from the near blinding light. The Raiton burned his exposed legs and burned away at his upper body removing the last few scraps of cloth covering his chest, revealing a circular pendant that bound a downwards facing triangle and the shinobi's well trained body. Deep breaths would escape Atsushi's body as the wounds vanished almost as quickly as they appeared.

Haven taken too much time to rest, Jaes would slip into the range of Atsushi's spear, noticed a little too late for the genin to stop him. A strong left hand sent Atsushi's face flying to the right as his attention was quickly reassigned to the task at hand no longer distracted from the pain of his the healed burns. Apparent to Jaes, but not to Atsushi is that after this last attack his spear was crackling with electricity and a crack had formed in it after that last jutsu. As the next strike came in for Atsushi's stomach he'd, with a flick of his left wrist, spin his spear in front of him grabbing onto it with his right hand blocking the gut punch with the weapon. The force of the punch was entirely mitigated and transferred through the spear, down his legs and into the ground beneath, causing him to wince slightly for a moment. The barrage wasn't over though another strike was rapidly approaching also from the toothy grin would remain as in almost slow motion he would watch his spear barely make it to intercept the foot in time, and an unexpected burst of chakra would explode outwards lifting Atsushi slightly into an upright standing position again as the shards of his beloved spear would go splintering. Empty hands would slightly be resist being blown up and away as Atsushi's spear flew up into the air in scattered fragments.

None of that was here nor there for Atsushi. The smile that ones graced his face had vanished and Atushi's right arm would lower into an "L" shape and the word "Lariat" would escape his lips and the arm would bend towards Jaes as he aimed for a blow to the other genin's chest sloppily gathered raiton would spill over wrapping his recently healed arm in minor first degree burns. Atsushi would accelerate towards the faster ninja from nearly point blank range wasting valuable chakra during a brief moment of oversight as he'd try to crash into his opponent once more hoping to deliver a decisive blow to the other genin. The anger would fade though as quickly as it came, though the smile wouldn't return as Atsushi had lost his composure slightly. If the Lariat hit Atsushi was sure it would send Jaes flying away with moderate bruising, but he was unfamiliar with the powers that Jaes held. The burns on Atsushi's arm wouldn't rapidly heal this time though tired chakra would hesitantly start working on the injuries. Regardless of whether the heavily breathing ninja hit his target he'd put his left hand on top of the pouch behind him and take a narrow stance, knees slightly bent, and his right hand would be between himself and Jaes as he prepared for what was to come next .

Jaes

D-rank
Jaes could not help but smile as he saw the boy's spear shatter from his kick, the boy was a truly skilled opponent there was no doubt of that in Jaes' mind. With that spear Jaes would even go so far to say that the boy was on equal footing with him, however with it no gone the other boy did not stand a chance. The other boy however did not have the same thinking as Jaes, as the boy quickly made his arm into an L and say the words Lariat covering his arm in Raiton before charging forward at the young Tsuyoi as soon as he landed from his backflip. Jaes had no time to react taking the blunt of the strike from the other boy, as the boy's arm hit Jaes' chest the boy couldn't help but grin as he didn't feel anything from the strike, however the grin quickly faded as the young genin went flying backwards. Jaes regained his footing as the boy dropped into his stance facing Jaes from his side, it seemed that despite having his weapon destroyed this boy refused to give up the fight. Jaes would assume his own stance crouching low to the ground so that his knees were bent at a seventy five degree angle, turning his body so that he was facing his opponent from his left side with his right side behind him making himself a smaller target. His feet would be spread wide, his left foot in front pointed towards his opponent with his right foot behind him pointed at a ninty degree angle of his left foot. His left hand in front of him with the palm open facedown and at mid chest level while his right hand sat at mid chest level also with it's palm open however facing Jaes' abdomen. Jaes was not a foolish person and the distance between the two of them was not on his side as it would leave too many openings if Jaes tried to charge, he had proven that himself when the boy charged him just moments before. The young Tsuyoi knew he had to be smart if he was going to end this fight as he had no idea how long this boy could last considering his healing ability it could be indefinitely, Jaes needed to get in close there was no other way for him to be able to end this other wise.

Taking in a slow breath to steady his heart rate from the excitement of this fight, Jaes would channel Raiton into his legs super charging his muscles to the point that a simple step could take him up to forty meters in front of him in a second. This would allow Jaes to close the ten meter distance between the two boys in a fraction of a second, appearing directly on the boy's side so that he was standing at the boy's back. Moving as quickly as he could the young Tsuyoi would make two jabs at the boy's lower back, before pushing off the ground aiming a kick to the back of the boy's head. Once the combo was finished Jaes would back off dropping into his defensive stance a few meters away from the boy, with his defensive stance almost identical to his offensive stance with the only difference being that his right hand was just above his sash belt with his palm facing his abdomen. From this stance he would be able to counter whatever the other boy might try to pull. If his surprise attack from behind did not work then the boy would instantly try to back off away from the other boy and drop into the defensive stance.

The crimson field was enshrouded with an almost deafening silence as the two ninja fought. There was no sound as Atsushi launched himself at Jaes, save for the quiet whistling of grass as sleeping leaves whimsically danced to a tyrant's tune. The bare feet that cascaded over the local flora and its denizens like a storm, cast upon them a far from regal, golden glow. For a moment the golden light usurped the throne of the crimson red the permeated the field. The ephemeral color overcast the the area around him, turned the tide for a moment, demanded the attention of those before him in that singular fraction of a second as he broke the quiet with an audacious resolve. Atsushi's focus was sharpened by the serious pain he suffered in his arm the familiar burns calmed his mind as he connected with Jaes. The two ninja tangling for a moment as they collided and in that moment the demeanor that the two had maintained not long ago had left their partners to try and dance with another. As Atsushi's first real blow landed on Jaes, launching him quite a distance across the field, a labored breath he didn't know he was holding escaped his lungs, losing his posture in the exhale and reclaiming it in the inhale. Refocusing eyes cautiously watched the ninja across from him as Jaes moved right back into a fighting stance showing a level of endurance that shook Atsushi.

In a sudden burst leagues faster than his own, his opponent closes the gap between the two ninja, but Atsushi's eyes are twenty meter's behind as Jaes appears at his weaker right side. Surprised eyes guide the off practically guard ninja's body to rotate with them too slow to meet the ready to attack assailant head on. With precision two lightning fast blows strike at the rotating ninja's side, still landing between rib and hip, but just barely missing liver. Though the pain wasn't nearly as sharp as it could have been, his eyes blurred  slightly from the sudden, unexpected attack. As Atsushi regained his positioning he'd keep the other genin on his right as Jaes launched himself into a kick for the back of Atsushi's head. In retaliation Atsushi would lean back tapping his left hand on the ground as he drew his right leg in so he could spring it into a hook like kick to Jaes's chest snaking past the other shinobi leg in an attempt to knock the other shinobi off balance and push him just slightly behind Atsushi. Atsushi's face slowly began growing back into the smile from before as he began to get his rhythm back. Though he wasn't in control of the tempo at the moment he could hear it its subtle whispers peeking sheepishly through the silence. The muted beats slowly beckoning Atsushi back into the fight.

Regardless of whether his kick hit or missed, Atsushi would press Jaes further to try and steal back the tempo. He'd rotate counter-clockwise lowering his center of gravity close to the ground and spinning with his right leg now trying to leg sweep. the leg sweep was very close to the ground and easy enough to dodge that it might have been apparent that jumping over it was what the revolving ninja hoped his opponent would do as he landed. Atsushi would continue rotating until he was facing away from the other genin, and with a quick inhale he launch himself upwards into a backflip with a burst of energy towards Jaes. At the top of the arc he'd also have twisted far enough vertically to have righted himself in the air and his right leg would be preparing to catch him for the landing and his left would be swinging down with hysterical strength towards Jaes's right shoulder. The smile would have subconsciously returned to Atsushi's face as the genin swung his heel down aiming stagger and bruise the ever resilient Jaes.
